Cool Video: The Mighty Zeppelin unleashes, “Celebration Day” official trailer!

No Led Zeppelin tour, but a tour of the “02” show being screened in theaters around the world, is close enough to a world tour, so you can pretend you’re really watching Led Zeppelin on stage in movie theaters.

Doesn’t look like, Albany will be getting a “Celebration Day” screening though.

I’m sure we’ll be getting a statement from the band later today.

Badass trailer! LOVE IT!

Why would Led Zeppelin name this movie, “Celebration Day” instead of “Live at the 02”? Well they did the same with the Madison Square Garden show, named that movie after one of their songs, “The Song Remains the Same”. I guess, “Celebration Day” is a follow up to “The Song Remains the Same” film. A sequel. Enjoy.

Maybe people out there do find me a talented musician after all??? I don’t know…

I used to think that nobody was paying any attention to my music out there, and thought no one supported my music at all. Maybe I thought wrong? Whenever I post a new original song or a cover in facebook, they both get positive responses. They sometimes even get passed around in facebook, people giving it thumbs up. I remember when I first started out as a musician, the public was making fun of me and bashing my talent, all over. It seems that those days are over with, and I haven’t seen anything negative said about my music recently. That’s what happens when you take practicing more seriously. That’s how I improved, just worked my ass off, to improve my singing and guitar playing. Hard work pays off. You work on your talent and take it seriously, people will take you seriously as a musician. Maybe I need to stop being sensitive? LOL…

Maybe I’m just a little disappointed that I haven’t gotten recognition by the local press about my music. No newspaper articles, reviews, etc. Anyway, I know that becoming an established musician doesn’t fall in your lap and you can’t beg for it. I just need to work harder. Put my music out there and see what happens. If I don’t become well known around here at all locally, I’m all good with the people that do support my music and I’m thankful for that. The support my music by you folks is what keeps me motivated to keep playing.

I’m trying my best to get new original material out there. I know people love my older songs, but I’m tired of my older songs. I’ve been playing my older songs so many times at my past gigs, I feel it’s time for a whole new batch of material. I’m going to learn more covers too. I really want to get back out there playing live as well, as I miss performing live. That’s one of my favorite things to do ever. There’s nothing better getting on stage to rock out with an acoustic guitar in front an audience. I want to try and put out an album someday but that will take time and money.

I know people out there want me to forward my career to a bigger level, but to be honest, I don’t care to be the biggest musician in the world. I just do this for fun, that’s it. I do appreciate people supporting it. It’s awesome.

I think my next round of songs would be much better than my earlier stuff. Yes, I will still play aggressive acoustic rock, like I’ve always done, but I’m going to try writing more slower and mellower material. That Whitney Houston cover of mine, inspired me to write more lighter sounds and folky like songs.

I’m gonna try to get back out there the best I can. Thanks all.

Brock reviews “Dexter – Season 6″…

I love the show, “Dexter”. It is one of the best shows on TV, I’ve seen in a long time. I’m not a big TV person, but there are a few shows that I love to watch and this show here is one of them. This show is actually very entertaining and very good. It actually has good writing and acting. Only thing I hate about the “Dexter” DVD’s is that Showtime forces you to sit through advertisements once you insert the DVD into the player and turn it on. It’s annoying and I hate how DVD’s and BluRays are doing that lately. I buy Dexter on DVD ’cause I don’t have Showtime, so I just wait for all the seasons to come out on DVD.

Anyway, back to Season 6, it was a really good season. Shows a different side of Dexter than before. He was forced to get into religion even though he was never meant to be a religious guy. There’s another serial killer out there called, the Doomsday Killer. The Doomsday Killer are Professor Gellar and Travis Marshall (Colin Hanks), which their killings are based on the Book of Revelation, and they leave signs of the Apocalypse at each crime scene. Of course, Dexter, tries to hunt down these killers himself ’cause you know that’s the kind of serial killer Dexter is. Dexter’s goal is to get rid of bad people.

That’s part of the plot without giving too many spoilers. There were a lot of interesting twist and turns this season. I thought Colin Hanks did a really good job in a major acting role. I’m surprised on how much Colin looks and talks much like his father, Tom Hanks. This season kept you guessing toward the end and was unpredictable. I won’t give spoilers, but the ending this season was pretty shocking, and it’ll get you scratching your head. Michael C. Hall’s acting is great like he always is, he’s a pretty talented guy.

There were a few silly things that weren’t needed this season. The Joey Quinn and Batista feud wasn’t needed. And the only character that I hate is that Masuka guy, I think he’s annoying, but other than that, the rest of the show is fine. I do like Jennifer Carpenter playing Dexter’s sister, Debra. This season was Jennifer’s best acting by far. I love how she says the word, “fuck” a lot ’cause if she didn’t swear a lot, then her character wouldn’t have worked.

Season 6 was good, but it wasn’t the best season. I still think “Season 4” with John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer was the best. Two more seasons of Dexter after 6. Season 7 will start soon, and I think I am going to get Showtime, just in time before the season starts. I think I got something figured out so I can get that channel. Dexter is a phenomenal show and pretty addicting. This is one show that should become a big screen movie whenever it gets done with TV.

That attack in Libya wouldn’t have happened if we left them the hell alone…

Other countries aren’t the terrorists. We people in the US are the terrorists. Seriously think about it. And Obama’s response to this whole thing was sickening, and just another reason that the dude needs to be voted out of office. RIP To the Ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, but we shouldn’t find this a surprise that this was going to happen to somebody like that. Get real people. Obama shouldn’t be our president anymore.

I’ve been staying away from politics discussion lately ’cause I was getting tired of it all myself. I just thought I would give my quick response to this.

Cool Video: Arnold does his famous “Get to da Choppa” catchphrase to lucky voice mail winner…

For a while now Arnold Schwarzenegger has been doing a contest where a lucky winner will get Arnold to do a voice mail recording for your cell phone or mobile phone or whatever, as a way to help market his book, “Total Recall”. Here is Arnold himself at his home recording his voicemail message to his lucky winner, proving that this is the real thing.

Arnold still does his “Get to Da Choppa” quote very well! Awesome! Can’t wait for the “Total Recall” book too, I will buy it.

Cool Video: Another video teaser by Led Zeppelin, could confirm, “Celebration Day” movie after all…

Led Zeppelin just posted this video with the 4 symbols and their song “Celebration Day”, playing over it. It’s not a live recording either. It’s the original version from their album, Led Zep III. No, they DID NOT Play the song at the 02 ’07 concert. It might be confirmation of the “Celebration Day” movie that Cineplex website just posted about. Not sure though.

We’ll have to wait until tomorrow.

Any Led Zeppelin news leaked from other sites before the band announces it themselves, is mostly likely to be fake news…

Anything posted from other websites such as UltimateClassicRock, The Sun, etc. The list goes on. They are most likely to be fake news, as in not true. This is the only reason why all these rumors and speculation started about the 02 ’07 concert being released to DVD/BluRay/CD. You can’t believe everything posted on the internet. The only way to believe any news is real by Led Zeppelin, is when the band themselves announce the news.

Cineplex leaked early that the 02 ’07 show will be released in a film titled, “Celebration Day”, to be in a limited time only theater run. I’m not believing that until the announcement. I’m also not believing the 02 release until tomorrow’s announcement as well. Other news sites try to leak Led Zeppelin news early ’cause they know it’s going to draw people to their websites to get more hits, as a way to get paid more with their advertisements. So that’s why a lot of sites try to make stuff up about Led Zeppelin, as much as they can.

This is why I wouldn’t assume that this will be the 02 show getting released. It can be something way different tomorrow. It could be an album announcement along with a small tour, whatever it is. It’s going to be something special, and it will be fucking, EPIC.

One of the news that is real and official, that Led Zeppelin will be honored at the Kennedy Center, along with Buddy Guy, Dustin Hoffman, David Letterman, and Natalia Makarova. While this is good news for Led Zep and congrats to them, I don’t think this will be the teaser tomorrow. See the news, here.

The fans in facebook and other forums are going nuts over tomorrow’s announcement, most everyone still think it’s the “02” show, probably is, but I’m still betting my money that they will announce something much bigger than that too. Maybe not a full fledged tour, but maybe another one off show? I think it would be kind of cool if they did one last gig at, Madison Square Garden. I would go, if they do.

Tomorrow is gonna be great, and I’m excited too like everyone else. I’ll be on the look out.

Report: Neil Young & Crazy Horse to release new double album, “Psychedellic Pill”, with new original material…

Earlier this year, Neil Young and Crazy Horse just released a new studio album called, “Americana”. Which is an album full of the band covering famous traditional folk songs. Well later this year, we will get a much proper Neil Young & Crazy Horse album with an album full of original material. They will release an album called, “Psychedellic Pill”, a two disc album full of new originals. The album will be released Oct. 30th, the day before Halloween.

Neil announced the news exclusively from facebook.

“Americana” was good, but not his best work ever, I expected better. Hopefully this will be a better album. Sounds like it will be a serious guitar jam album, hence the name, “Psychedellic Pill”. I love Neil and can’t wait for the album. I’ll be getting it for sure.
