“The Walking Dead – Season 2” Mid-Season ends with a shocker… ****Major Spoilers****

So the 1st half of the “Walking Dead” is over and here is my review with some major spoilers. If you haven’t seen any of the episodes yet or tonight’s episode, then don’t read any further after you see the spoiler warning below.

In the beginning of Season 2, Carol’s little daughter, Sophia goes missing after the cast tries to protect themselves from walkers in the highway. The cast ends up staying at Hershel Greene’s farm home after Carl’s been shot and they continue to stay there for safety & hospitality.

Honestly, this season started off kind of boring. It was more like a soap opera than anything. There wasn’t too much zombies, blood & guts like the last season. I’ve been getting some predictions right and some of them wrong. I knew Lori was going to get pregnant this season, and I’m betting it’s going to be Shane’s baby.

I was kind of disappointed that Merle Dixon only appeared for one episode this Season, but I don’t think it was actually him and it was really Daryl just dreaming or something of that one episode where he went looking for Sophia by himself.

Hershel, the farmhouse owner, has a barn full of walkers because he has family in there. A wife and a step son. He refuses to kill the walkers because he thinks they’re still people and wanted to care for his wife & step son like any family would. Glenn found out about the walkers in the barn and in tonight’s episode, Glenn told the cast about that secret.

The cast wouldn’t leave Hersel’s home because they wouldn’t leave without the missing Sophia, who they were still on the look out for her. The cast thought she was still alive and out there somewhere.

I did too. I had a couple of guesses on what may have happened to Sopha, Carol’s daughter. I thought Merle Dixon kidnapped her as his way of getting payback for leaving him on the rooftop in Atlanta handcuffed, or Sophia could be living with a different family somewhere. Neither prediction was right.

Turns out that Sophia was a walker and she was in that barn after all this time. Now I can completely see why Hershel didn’t want Rick and his friends getting in the barn to kill the walkers, because he didn’t want them to see Sophia as one.

I know the pacing of the show was kind of slow at the start, but they ended this season very nicely. The ending tonight certainly shocked the hell out of me. My jaw fell open when Sophia as a walker, came walking out of the barn. I think the writers of the show made the beginning of it kind of boring on purpose so they can save the best for the last. Now I get why they did what they did.

The second half of the season which will air on AMC later this Spring, will get real interesting now. Hopefully, Merle Dixon will return second half, I’m sure he will.

They did a real good job ending the show this time around. Hope they keep up the good work for the second half.

Billy Corgan’s “Black Friday” wrestling event in Chicago, a major success…

So Billy Corgan, the leading frontman of the Smashing Pumpkins, started up his own wrestling company, called Resistance Pro. It’s where they would have wrestling events in Billy’s hometown of Chicago. Well, last Friday’s event at the Excalibur nightclub was a huge success.

Billy couldn’t be there ’cause he’s stuck in a European tour overseas, but he was able to watch the event via, Skype.

Read the full story here of what went on.

Here’s a couple of videos from that night. Looks a lot of fun, wish I was there.

Why shaving arm pit hair is important…

Shaving arm pit hair may sound silly, but it’s important and pretty serious to do. I’m about to explain why in this post. Not only that shaving your arm pit hair would help make your bicep and lat poses look better, there’s a more important reason than that. You know how after every time you get done working out, you always get this sweaty smell? That’s why. Shaving arm pit hair helps get rid of the body odor.

I don’t shave body hair at all because that’s for the professionals, but it’s okay to shave the arm pits. Don’t have to shave arm pits if you don’t want to, it’s your choice but it is strongly recommended in bodybuilding.

To get rid of my body odor after workouts, I shower after every workout and use deodorant. Plus, changing into new clothes after a workout is important too.

I’ve been shaving my arm pit hair a lot more often now, at least once a week. It feels good and more comfortable.

5 reasons why the Ultimate Warrior is the most inspirational wrestler…

There are a lot of wrestling legends out there, who were once pretty big in the 80’s. The question is, who is the most inspirational of them all? Hulk Hogan? Bret Hart? Macho Man? Roddy Piper? Shawn Michaels? The Undertaker? The list can go on.

They were the greats back in the day, but in my opinion, I think the Ultimate Warrior is the most inspirational retired wrestler of them all. Warrior is so special in a lot of ways.

Here are 5 reasons explaining why:

  • His match at Wrestlemania 6 with Hulk Hogan was a classic – This is one of the important reasons why we all love Warrior. It’s his classic match with Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 6 where Warrior won the IC title. This was the first time where we all began to think that Warrior was an important figure in the wrestling business.
  • He doesn’t believe in comebacks and refuses a Hall of Fame induction – Warrior is a retired wrestler, and he “stays” retired. He doesn’t believe in wrestling comebacks. Most so called retired wrestlers have came out of retirement over the years, but not with Warrior. Why make a comeback and ruin what he had in the past? He had a good and positive career run, why mess it up, ya know? Fans want Warrior to make one last WWE run, but I don’t think he will anytime soon. Even though he is a retired wrestler, he’ll still do events for fans like autograph signings and things like that, just to entertain the fans that he still has. He also keeps refusing a WWE Hall of Fame induction, and that’s good. The WWE Hall of Fame is a joke anyway.
  • His web presence is addicting – He had a web presence for years. For a long while, he’s been writing on his official blog, but then he launched. O.W.N. (One Warrior Nation), earlier this year where he could interact with his fans on a personal level. He’s a very honest guy. He’s a good speaker and just interesting to listen to. I like the way he thinks. He’ll open your eyes up on a lot of things. He’ll speak on topics about anything he wants, no holds barred discussions. That’s another reason why I like him.
  • He’s good with his fans – He enjoys meeting his fans in person, signing autographs and posing for photos. He even responds to people online through the O.W.N. website.
  • He makes great youtube videos – There’s a lot of wrestlers that have their own youtube channels, but Warrior’s the best. He also gets a lot of youtube hits than most of them. I’m always watching Warrior’s videos and always looking forward to his next one. He does a great job entertaining people than any wrestler out there.
  • He’s the fuckin’ man!!! – He seems like a real good guy in real life. Most professional wrestlers can have huge egos but Warrior has no ego in him at all. He’s just down to earth and friendly.

That’s it, enjoy!

“Best of 2011” for books is coming too…

I’ve been reading quite a lot of new books that came out this year, so I figure, why not have a “Best of 2011” for books as well? Thing is, the “Best Books of 2011”, will be posted in late January ’cause again, there are still new books this year, I still want to read. I still have to read Ace Frehley’s new book “No Regrets” and Stephen King’s new book, “11/22/63”. There are other new books I still want to buy too. I’m a slow reader and it takes me a long while to finish one book, but I’m still able to get through so many books in one year, somehow though.

Reading’s one of my favorite hobbies to do.

Guns N’ Rose’s angers the Capital District for cancelling Albany show…

Originally, Guns N’ Roses were scheduled to play the Times Union Center, on the day before Thanksgiving earlier this week, but as predicted, the band cancelled out on us. Local people in facebook, have been putting up status’s and comments, bashing the band for it. It was blamed on low ticket sales.

To be fair to Axl and Guns N’ Roses, maybe it wasn’t their decision to cancel the show. Maybe they really wanted to play it but maybe it was the arena’s decision to pull the plug. I wouldn’t quickly blame the band.

I can see why people would quickly blame the band, since Axl’s been well known to be late at gigs and not showing up at some of them. Things like that.

Even if it was the band’s decision, maybe Axl and the rest of the guys wanted to spend their Thanksgiving with their families. Maybe it had something to do with travelling conflicts. He lives in California so it would be difficult for him to travel like that.

People should not be so quick to judge.

Thought: About the Justin Bieber baby controversy…

Justin Bieber, the Canadian teen pop star, is in the news again. He’s been in the news a lot over this story. Another teen girl, named Mariah Yeater, accusing the pop star of impregnating her, backstage at a concert at the Staples Center in, Los Angeles. She filed a paternity lawsuit, but even though the lawsuit was dropped, she still pushed him to take a DNA test to prove that the baby is his. Bieber claims he did take the DNA test, but the results weren’t revealed to the public yet, I believe.

So the question we’re all wondering, did Bieber really banged this chick backstage and got her preggers? I don’t think he did.

When you become rich & famous, become one of the world’s biggest music stars, you’re going to get a lot of crazy people after you. Especially if you’re the type of star who is popular with women and young girls. You’re going to get all kinds of crazy women accusing you of fathering a baby and all kinds of weird shit. That’s the way fame is. Look at all these celebrities getting stalkers and people trying to break into their homes.

This won’t be the first for Bieber, when he gets older, I’m sure a woman claim she’s married to him. Whether you like Justin Bieber or not, you gotta give him the respect, that he took all of this like a man. He even went as far as joking around about it on Letterman. That’s pretty ballsy. Mariah Yeater is just an obsessed fan, trying to bring him into her life.

If Bieber really did bang this chick and fathered a baby with her, then that wouldn’t surprise me. If he did, then that wouldn’t make him a badguy either. He’s the world’s famous pop star now, let him bang all the chicks he wants. Let him have all the fun ’cause that is part of being a rock star.
