“Terminator: Genisys” trailer to be released Thursday…

The crew behind “Terminator: Genisys” (Terminator 5) released the living one sheet. Once you enter this site, it’ll give you the living one-sheet and then it’ll direct you to a count down. Which is probably the count-down to the trailer.

2015 is shaping up to be a huge year for Hollywood. “Star Wars: Episode VII”, “Bond 24”, “Jurassic World” and “Terminator: Genisys”.

I hope the new Terminator film is gonna be good. I’m a huge Terminator fan, always have been. I like all the Terminator movies even “Rise of the Machines” and “Salvation” were good films.

My top 10 favorite films of all time…

Some of you know that I’m a pretty big movie buff. It’s one of my favorite things to do in life like most people. I like to watch a lot of movies. I grew up on ’em. I love talking about movies. I love learning about them. I love storytelling. I love the entertainment too. I have no problem talking about movies with people for hours and hours. I can talk about movies all day as you can probably tell. I love Hollywood. Since I’ve spent so many years talking about movies, some of you probably don’t even know what my top 10 favorite movies of all time are.

Well, here’s a top ten list… there’s gonna be some older films and some newer films… this list might surprise some of you… enjoy:

  1. The Last of the Mohicans (w/ Daniel Day Lewis)
  2. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (w/ Jack Nicholson)
  3. Raiders Of The Lost Ark (w/ Harrison Ford)
  4. Citizen Kane (w/ Orsen Welles)
  5. The Godfather 1 and 2 (w/ Al Pacino)
  6. Rocky (the first one, w/ Sylvester Stallone)
  7. The Princess Bride (w/ Cary Elwes and Robin Wright)
  8. The Wrestler (w/ Mickey Rourke)
  9. Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan (w/ William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy)
  10. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (w/ Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig)

I have too many favorite movies but the ones I listed above I can watch over and over and never get tired of it.

I wish David Fincher would get to work on the “Girl Who Played With Fire” already… I don’t know why he’s taking so damn long.

This Star Wars movie could have no lens-flares… I didn’t see any in the trailer…

One thing that impressed me with the new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer is that it didn’t have any lens flares effects. A lot of us expected that the film will be full of lens flares since JJ is so obsessed with that camera effect but look like we aren’t gonna see any in Star Wars 7. Why did JJ decided to ditch the lens flares for Star Wars 7???

I would think that in order to keep the film, George Lucas styled… and for the film to be more like the original trilogy, he would have to get rid of the lens flares. He didn’t want to ruin the magic of what a true Star Wars film would be. He wanted to keep the fans happy and give them what they want so he ditched the lens flares.

There’s gonna be less CGI and less green screen in this film ’cause most of it was filmed for real… kind of like how George Lucas filmed them, ya know?

Seeing no lens flares was awesome. Hopefully there won’t be any of that at all in the film ’cause honestly, I’m with everyone else that JJ’s lens flare effects is pretty lame and silly. It’ll be nice if we didn’t see any of that in the new Star Wars movie.

More thoughts on the Star Wars trailer…

Like usual when it comes to JJ Abrams directing, there’s gonna be a lot of negative and hateful critics shitting on the trailer. A lot of fans are saying, “that’s it”? Well, for one, that’s what a teaser is supposed to do. A teaser is not supposed to show a lot but I’m sure we will see a lot more in the upcoming trailers. Reveal a little bit at a time.

I’m also seeing a lot of nasty criticism toward the lightsaber at the end, the mysterious black robed and hooded character at the end. Is that Adam Driver’s villain character or Luke Skywalker himself? We would never know. Like I said JJ is full of secrecy and there’s tons of it in this new trailer. As for the new lightstaber design, that’s just either for Luke or Adam Driver’s character. I’m sure not all lighstabers in the film are like that. This film is set 35 years after “Return of the Jedi” so obviously the lighsabers are gonna get a new design.

Why do we see John Boyega in a Stormtrooper suit and with no Stormtrooper helmet on? That’s another question that needs to be answered and I’m sure we will soon find out. Is Boyega’s character a Stormtrooper member and he escapes from them? That’s kind of what it’s looking like in that trailer to me.

Who’s the voice over??? I immediately assumed that the voice over was Luke Skywalker but if you think about it and listen to what the voice over is saying, it’s sounding like it’s coming from an evil character. I don’t think Luke would say something like, “the dark and the light”. It is probably Adam Driver, the voice over. It doesn’t sound like Mark Hamill.

This is just a teaser… I repeat, A TEASER!!! We will see a lot more in the next one, for sure. I’ve watched the trailer like 10 times straight.

I was pretty impressed with the teaser and can’t wait to see more. I’m noticing the Stormtrooper’s are looking a little different too.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer is here!!! It’s freaking sick, HOLY SHIT!!!

Maybe JJ Abrams won’t let us down after all. I’m fuckin’ impressed with the trailer. It gave me goosebumps and now I’m fuckin’ psyched for Episode 7 now. The trailer has everything Star Wars fanatics would want out of a Star Wars movie: Stormtroopers, X-Wing fighters, lightsabers, tie fighters and the Millennium Falcon!!!

The trailer showed more than I expected but still there is a lot of secrecy and mystery to it. Who’s the character with the black robe and hood with the weird looking lightsaber toward the end? Is that Adam Driver’s villain character? There is also an appearance by John Boyega in a Stormtrooper suit and Daisy Ridley is seen riding some weird looking vehicle on Abu Dhabi.

No appearances by Luke, Han, Leia, Chewbacca and the Droids yet but I’m sure they will appear in the upcoming trailers. The trailers will reveal a little bit at a time.

This will definitely be the biggest movie of 2015, though and I will definitely be there in the theater for this one, for sure.

Happy birthday, Bruce Lee…

Today on Thanksgiving, Bruce Lee is remembered on his birthday. He would have been 74 if he was still alive today. Like most, I’m a big Bruce Lee fan too. Watched his movies over the years. I’ve been watching some Bruce Lee movies on Netflix. I’ve watched “Game of Death”, “Big Boss” and “Way of Dragon” on Netflix not too long ago. Bruce Lee was undeniably a martial arts genius. He was a great film actor too.

Happy Thanksigivng, by the way too.

Look like you won’t have to go to a theater to see “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer after all!!!

Are you dying to see that 88 second, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer but there’s no theater in your hometown that has it? Not too worries!!! The 88 second teaser will be exclusively released to “Itunes Trailers” on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

There’s a lot of claims that the trailer has been leaked online but I’m sure those leaks aren’t legitimate so I’ll wait to see the official one.

And remember, y’all… don’t expect to see so much on the trailer. You’re only gonna see very little as I said before. JJ loves his secrecy, he’s obsessed with it. I’m sure it’ll be a sick teaser and sure it will get everyone talking and debating about it.

On Friday, I’ll go to Itunes and check it out.

TV director, Michelle Maclaren to helm her first big budget big screen movie… “Wonder Woman” it is…

If I remember correctly, Michelle Maclaren was the one who directed that one shocking, “Walking Dead” episode that I remember. That one episode when the Walking Dead cast had that big barn shootout and Carol’s daughter ended up being a walker.

Michelle also directed a few episodes for other iconic TV shows such as “Game of Thrones” and “Breaking Bad”. Looking at her filmography, I don’t think she ever did big budget films so I guess you can consider, “Wonder Woman” being her directorial debut for the big screen. She spent many years of her life working on TV and it must be amazing for her to get asked by Warner Bros. to helm the “Wonder Woman” standalone movie.

Gal Gadot will still star as Wonder Woman for the film as well.

I hope Michelle does a good job and makes us a good “Wonder Woman” movie. I think it’s finally time for female superheroes to get the spotlight.

I know Warner Bros. have been trying very hard to make a “Wonder Woman” big screen movie since 1996 but they never got it off the ground until now. I remember Joss Whedon was originally attached to write and direct “Wonder Woman” but later on he changed his mind and said no so the film didn’t happen.

Gal Gadot has a busy career up ahead of her. She’s gotta star in “Batman Vs. Superman”, then her “Wonder Woman” movie and then the upcoming “Justice League”.

I’m sure Michelle will make the “Wonder Woman” film fun and exciting. Looking forward to seeing what she’s gonna do with the film. Congrats to Michelle on a big opportunity.

The big screen version of Stephen King’s “The Stand” will be 4 parts and Matt McConaughey set to play Randall Flagg!!!

Even more good movie news, the big screen version of “The Stand” based upon the book by Stephen King will be split into 4 parts. “The Fault In Our Stars” director, Josh Boone will helm the big screen version of “The Stand”. Matt McConaughey have also been signed to play the film’s main villain, Randall Flagg which is gonna be awesome!!!

http://www.theguardian.com/film/2014/nov/24/matthew-mcconaughey-the-stand-stephen-king-adaptation

I remember seeing the mini-series version of “The Stand” on TV w/ Gary Sinise in the leading role and I remember it being pretty good.

I’m excited for Matt McConaughey playing Randall Flagg. Randall Flagg is a very popular Stephen King villain. Matt have been my favorite actor for a long while now. I’ve been impressed with him as of late. I loved Matt’s acting in movies like “Interstellar”, “The Wolf Of Wall Street” and “Killer Joe”. “The Lincoln Lawyer” was a pretty good movie too.

I think Matt’s gonna make a great, Randall Flagg. He’s gonna kill that role. Some of you out there may have not seen Matt play a villain before but he did play a villain in a movie before. Check out his movie, “Killer Joe” and you would see that he can play a great villain that makes you want to hate him.

Why is the big screen movie gonna be 4 parts? It’s because the novel is pretty thick. If they made it one movie, it would be a long movie so they would have to split in parts so they can fit the whole story as much as possible.

I’m gonna have to re-read “The Stand” novel. Haven’t read it in a long time.
