Report: Jason Newsted and Rob Trujillo bass jam session at the Hall of Fame???

Well, former Metallica bassist, Jason Newsted is confirmed to play as a “Black Album” band with Metallica at the Hall of Fame this Saturday night. At first it was just going to be Jason Newsted, and Rob was just going to watch the band in the audience. Instead, both Jason and Rob will be jamming with Metallica. They are not saying if Jason and Rob will both play separately, playing different songs or if they will both jam on bass together…or it could be both. Sounds like the boys in Metallica is not giving away any surprises and secrets about their performance.

At the end of Saturday’s Hall of Fame show, I’m sure there will be a huge super star jam like there is at every Hall of Fame show every year. The boys in Metallica jamming on stage with Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, and even Run DMC could rap along with them too? Remember, Run DMC covered Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” once. 🙂

Report: Steve Martin to make Grande Ole Opry debut May 30th…

Steve Martin, the legendary multi talented celebrity will be making a debut live musical performance at the Grande Old Opry, May 30th. Steve Martin is a man that does it all. He’s a stand up comic, a film actor, screen writer, play writer, and a singer/songwriter, banjo player.

The Grande Ole Opry is a legendary music venue mostly known for legendary country and bluegrass artists to take the stage for live music performances for radio and television. The Grande Old Opry is in Nashville, Tennessee.

Metallica at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y. go on sale this Saturday!!!

Metallica tickets for the Times Union Center for their November 12th show in Albany, N.Y. go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. I’m definitely going to order two tickets this weekend, I’ll find a friend or a family member to go with.

In other Metallica news, their “Guitar Hero” game is out in stores now, which I definitely plan on picking up soon. I don’t know about this week, I gotta wait for my next paycheck, then I’ll go pick up the game after I get paid.

After I pick up “Guitar Hero: Metallica”, that will be my last game, I will purchase for a while. I got plenty of games to keep me busy.

I’m currently playing the videogame, “Bioshock”, then I gotta beat “Resident Evil 5”. I’m really looking forward to “Guitar Hero: Metallica”, I think that’s looking like to be the best Guitar Hero game ever made. “Guitar Hero: Aerosmith” is an okay game, I think, “Guitar Hero: Metallica” is going to be way better. Looking forward to it.

Cool Video: Slash rocks with kids at middle school…

This is very cool. Guitar icon, Slash, made an appearance at the East Los Angeles Belvedere, Middle School, to teach kids how to play guitar and other instruments by forming their own band in the classroom. You can see the kids jamming on “Sweet Child Of Mine” with Slash with a young girl singing the lead vocals.

As you music fans probably already know, Slash is a family man, with wife and has kids on his own, so you can tell that Slash is very good with kids as you see in this video. Plus, I’m sure Slash’s wife, Perla, talked him into doing this stuff.

What the hell is Axl Rose thinking when he talks trash at Slash publicily on the internet? Fuck Axl. Slash seems like a very nice and down to earth man from what I see here.

I enjoyed seeing the kids, playing “Sweet Child Of Mine”.

Heh, now this reminds me of the Jack Black movie, “School of Rock”. Way to go Slash!!! The man is doing a great thing and hopes he keeps doing stuff like that for kids!

Report: “Weird Al” Yankovic gets cameo in Rob Zombie’s “H2″…

Rob Zombie announced that funny man musician, “Weird Al Yankovic” will be having a cameo appearance in the Halloween sequel, “H2”. Al is set to be a guest on, “The Newman Hour” which is a television program that will be doing a show on Dr. Loomis and his new book. “Weird Al” Yankovic has been well known to star in a handful of cameos in so many films over the years, including the “Naked Gun” trilogy and more.

One of Green Day’s best albums ever made, “American Idiot” is heading to the theatre stage for a musical. “American Idiot” is a rock opera album inspired by the Who’s rock opera theme with their music. Theatre director, Michael Mayer, will helm, the “American Idiot” staged play. Michael Mayer worked very closely with Green Day’s frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, to bring the album to the stage. The band will of course, be credited for the play’s work. There are no plans of bringing this to Broadway at this time.

While that’s a great list and I agree with all of it…I wanted to point out some other very important ones that they are missing:

  • Keith Richards snorting his father’s ashes (how can they forget this one?)
  • Led Zeppelin going on world tour and record new album (Page, Plant, Jones and Jason Bonham have been getting these rumors non stop since the great O2 reunion. The band only came back for that one gig, ever since then people never stopped talking about them touring when the band has denied it every single time)
  • Jimmy Page being a devil worshipper…(Page has been accused of being supportive of Satan and the devil, due to his weird Black Magic and the song “Stairway to Heaven” being about something similar.)
  • David Bowie is gay (like the article says, there were rumours of David Bowie sleeping with Mick Jagger, and David has been accused of being gay plenty of times over the years, but the man has always denied it. Sometimes he’s admitted to it and next thing he denies it back and forth. Reason people probably think Bowie is gay is because back in the 60’s and 70’s, David used to wear all this weird make up and costumes when he’s performing on stage.)
  • Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust” played backwards where there’s a line that says “it’s fun to smoke marijuana”.
  • Jim Morrison is alive in France.
  • Milli Vanilli was the first musician to get caught lip synching.
  • David Lee Roth almost killed by eating peanuts, been hospitalized for it too while driving. Remember this story? Turns out that the guy that almost died eating peanuts wasn’t really him, it was a David Lee Roth look alike. The real David Lee Roth denied this story, sayin’ it was all bunch of baloney, and David is still alive and well.

I’m sure there are plenty of more. Feel free to name some that aren’t listed yet.

I barely ever post about her anymore, but I find this story to be pretty interesting, that I think it’s worth posting in my blog. Britney Spears father, Jamie Spears, goes mad at the internet. He’s so pissed at Britney’s no. 1 fan who made a fansite for her that became very popular on the web.

My 2cents to Jordan Miller. BACK OFF THE SPEARS FAMILY!! If you were such a true no. 1 fan of your hero, you would respect their wishes and do as they want. Respect Britney’s work and image like a true fan. We’re talking Britney FUCKING Spears here. You’re dealing with some pretty powerful and sleazy people who are dangerous and nasty, these people will take you down fast, man. They will make your head spin. Are you ready to lose EVERYTHING you got?

Britney is a drama queen and she gets everything she wants, due to her power and fame. Take the website off and move on. Don’t mess with these people, dude. While I agree what Britney and her father are doing to you is wrong and pretty mean, I would back off immediately and not make this personal.

Really, don’t mess with the rich and famous. They’ll take everything you got. You can’t win. Yes, there is freedom of speech but famous people have all the right to take legal action on people who use their name and image without their consent.

I’m not defending Britney Spears as I hate her guts myself, but I’ll say again if you were a fan, you treat her with respect and do like she asks. Don’t fuck with these people. They’ll make your life a living hell like they said in their threats.
