Will original members of Guns N’ Roses reunite for tour and possible new album???

Will the original Guns N’ Roses lineup from the old days reunite for a tour and possible new album? I see a tour is a possibility but a new album with original lineup? We’ll wait and see on the new album. Will the original guys Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steven come back?

If they are coming back, I don’t know if I’ll be all that thrilled to be honest with ya. Yeah, I’ve always been a GN’R fan myself but honestly, I don’t think Axl can sing anymore. I mean, listen to all the recent Gn’R performances in youtube and you would hear that Axl sounds horrible when he sings. He doesn’t have the powerful voice like he used to have. Most GN’R fans agree that he’s terrible on the singing.

In the two videos below, I’ll post an older live GN’R performance and a newer performance of Axl singing so I can show you the difference. See how much he changed in his singing. I think he lost the head voice is what happened. He sings way off pitch and he’s just terrible. He’s not a good live singer like he used to be.

Other than that, it would still be cool to see Axl and Slash bury the hatchet.

St. Vincent, I think she’s my new favorite music artist!

I’ve never really heard of artist, St. Vincent before until I read an interview with her through Guitar World magazine once. Now that Apple Music streaming is finally here which I’m still subscribed to, I finally decided to check her out. I listened to all 5 of her albums and really enjoyed them all; however, I think her best album is her collaboration album with David Byrne, “Love This Giant”. All of her music is good stuff but the album she did with David Byrne was pretty amazing stuff. You should check out that album as well.

Yeah, St. Vincent is all strictly pop music but as long as she plays her own instruments and writes her own songs (which she does), I can respect her for that. A lot of pop music artists don’t play their own instruments or write their own songs but St. Vincent (whose real name is Annie Clark) is one of the very few pop artists who does all of her stuff on her own. Her music is enjoyable stuff. If you’re a fan of artists such as The Talking Heads and David Bowie like myself, you’d probably enjoy St. Vincent.

Best of all, Annie Clark plays guitar and her guitar playing is actually pretty good too. She also has a nice singing voice as well.

Man, I can certainly deal with Joss Stone being the new singer for STP than Chester Bennington. I thought Chester was horrible. I know Joss Stone’s performance with STP is part of the “mash-up’ series or something like that but still Joss did a great job. This performance gave me goosebumps, admittedly, it was pretty damn good.

Scott Weiland will probably never perform with the band ever again ’cause I think STP is done with him for good.

Will Joss Stone tour with STP and make studio records with them? Who knows. I doubt she’ll be a full time member of STP but her touring with them could be possible, though. We’ll have to wait and see.

Mumford & Sons announce US tour, will play SPAC in June of 2016…

I might get my chance to see Mumford & Sons live. They just announced their US tour in support of their new album, “Wilder Mind”. As you can see their final show of this tour, they will be playing SPAC in Saratoga Springs on June 15.

I don’t go to national concerts much anymore as I stopped going to them pretty much but I think this will be a show worth going to. I’m a huge fan of Mumford and Sons myself.

I’m definitely thinking about this one.

Chester Bennington leaves Stone Temple Pilots to focus on Linkin Park… wonder what’s the real reason is?

Scott Weiland was the first to leak the news that Chester Bennington has officially left Stone Temple Pilots to focus on Linkin Park full time. They claim it was an amicable split but it could be a lie. I wonder what really happened?

I think the real reason Chester split ’cause he felt that he didn’t belong in STP. Maybe he admitted that STP is Scott Weiland’s baby and felt bad replacing him? So he left hoping Scott would rejoin.

STP is probably gonna look for a replacement but hopefully the guys in STP and Scott will start talking again so Scott can rejoin the group. It isn’t STP without Scott. Maybe that’s what Chester finally realized, ya know? He was receiving so much flak from the fans and couldn’t take it.

Hopefully STP and Scott will bury the hatchet so he can rejoin. Scott and Robert Deleo both helped form the band together and Scott wrote most of the band’s biggest hits including “Plush”, “Sex Type Thing”, “Wicked Garden”, “Vasoline”, “Big Empty”, etc.

I’m a big fan of STP. Had the opportunity to see the band live in concert once myself a long time ago. I’ll never forget that show.

Is Paul Stanley of Kiss a closeted homosexual? The man himself claims he isn’t gay…

Gay rumours of Paul Stanley is nothing new. He has dealt with gay rumors for many years so I’m sure he’s used to it and he shrugs it off every time. I’ve just finished reading Peter Criss’s book, “Makeup to Breakup” and even Peter suspects that Paul maybe gay and hiding in the closet.

Why would people accuse Paul of being gay? Well, look at him. Whether or not Paul wears KISS makeup, he still looks like a woman either way. He walks around like a woman and even talks like one. He also has no problem wearing women’s clothes. Paul has always been a pretty feminine guy.

Just because Paul is married and has children doesn’t prove anything. It’s possible that gay men can get married to a woman, raise children so that would be a way to cover up his homosexuality. It is possible that Paul might be bi-sexual, though.

Last thing you wanna do is believe what this man says. After reading Peter Criss’s book, I came to a realization that Paul isn’t to be trusted at all.

Elvis’s new album, “If I Can Dream” is freakin’ mind blowing… WOW!!!

Since Priscilla Presley has been out there promoting Elvis’s new album, “If I Can Dream” in the media, I decided to give it a listen on Apple Music streaming ’cause I was curious and WOW!!!! It was a beautifully made album. I had to buy my own copy of it today.

What they did was they took Elvis’s archival voices from the past and mixed it over an orchestra. Of course, Elvis’s vocals were already recorded in the past back when he was alive, though. The orchestra recording were done sometime earlier this year. Priscilla said Elvis always wanted to sing in front of a huge orchestra and they did what he wanted. They made these songs exactly how he would have sang in front of an orchestra.

I gave this album a listen on Apple Music streaming once this morning and I was blown away. It was amazing all the way through. This is real music here. I just had to buy my own copy so I can own it for myself. The score for each song was beautiful stuff, indeed. I had goosebumps all the way through. As you listen to this album though, you should have a box of Kleenex nearby ’cause this album should have you in tears in no time. It’s powerful stuff.

This album is a must listen for any Elvis fan. I’ve been a longtime fan of the King myself. Although, I’m pretty sure Elvis’s songs has been remade many times by record labels, it’s just that these are the best versions. Even though I’m not a fan of Michael Buble, I liked his duet with Elvis on “Fever”. So far, I think this is the best record released all year and I think I’m gonna be listening to it a lot for sure. Please get this album. These are how Elvis’s songs should have sounded.

Elvis himself always wanted to sing in front of a large orchestra but he never got to. Well this is how he would sound like if he did sing in front of an orchestra and they did a great job.

Noomi Rapace to star as Amy Winehouse for biopic film…

There’s an Amy Winehouse biopic in the works and Swedish actress Noomi Rapace is in negotiations to star as Amy Winehouse for her biopic film. The Amy Winehouse biopic will be written and directed by, Kirsten Sheridan.

Will Amy’s music be featured in the film? Yes, probably… the film makers are in negotiations to score the rights from Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse who is in control of Amy’s estate. I would think he would be cool enough to let them feature Amy’s music in the film.

I’m a pretty big fan of Amy Winehouse and it’s a shame that she died so young and her music career was short-lived. If she would have lived, she would have been a bigger star, absolutely. She may have been a messed up chick but hey, what can I say? Everybody’s got their problems. It was the music that mattered so I’m hoping that the film would focus on the music.

Before anyone accuses me of becoming a fan of her after her death, not true. I was a huge fan of her “Back To Black” album long before her death. Even though she was a pop star, still though, she was a phenomenal live performer and such a blast to watch. She really loved what she did and she showed it. I was pretty bummed out by her death and still kind of am.

Noomi Rapace is a perfect choice, in my opinion. They kind of resemble each other. Only problem though is that Noomi is Swedish so she’s gonna have to learn how to speak like Amy which shouldn’t be a problem. Noomi will have to learn how to speak like a Brit for sure. She’s gonna have to learn how to sing and dance like Amy too. She may have to take singing lessons.

I’m looking forward to that film and hope they do a good job with it. I haven’t seen the new “Amy” documentary film yet but looking forward to that one as well.

The original Kiss lineup is the greatest of all time!

After listening to every Kiss album on Apple Music, I can see why a lot of musicians are so inspired by this band. They inspired me too. While I pretty much enjoy every Kiss album and every era, nothing will top the original lineup though with Gene, Paul, Ace and Peter. These guys made the best albums for sure. I’ve always been a big Kiss fan, I just never listened to all of their studio albums until now. I’m glad I did. Even though I listened to all Kiss albums on Apple Music streaming, I purchased 4 of their albums for myself. I got their first self titled album, “Dressed to Kill” and I just purchased “Kiss – Alive” and “Destroyer” last night. I dig the original lineup the most ’cause they had the best songs and the best guitar playing.

One thing for sure, though, I find it real sad that the guys had too many problems and not getting along over the years. So I figure I would read all 4 of their memoirs to get a different perspective on their feuds. I’m sure each one of those guys got their own side of the story. I just want to read them all so I can be able to tell which one is the most believable. I finished reading Paul Stanley’s book not too long ago. Now I’m currently reading Peter Criss’s book. Last night, I purchased Gene’s book, “Kiss and Makeup” to get his take on the controversial feud. Soon, I will re-read Ace Frehley’s book “No Regrets”. After I read all 4 of their books, I’ll give you my thoughts on the feud they had in the past.

Kiss is a genius band, though. Glad I finally started getting into them. I’ve read so much about Kiss over the years. Read too many of their interviews through different music magazines and things like that. I one day hope to get my chance to see them live. I could have had my chance to see them when they just played Saratoga Springs @ SPAC earlier this summer. I wanted to go to that show but didn’t have the money. Oh well, maybe next time they play here, I’ll be sure to go.

Taylor Swift sued for $42 million by R & B artist accusing her of plagiarizing the lyric line, “Haters gonna hate”… really???

Taylor Swift just got sued for $42 million by an R&B singer named Jesse Braham accusing her of ripping off the lyric line, “Haters gonna hate”. The lyric line from Taylor’s hit song, “Shake It Off”. He claims he was the one who created the phrases “Haters gonna hate” and “players gonna play” and even claims he’s got the copyright for both of them.

This lawsuit is pretty ludicrous and it’s probably gonna get thrown out anyway so there’s nothing to worry about. This Jesse Braham is just an egomaniacal singer with huge delusions of grandeur. He’s probably all jealous that Taylor’s song is a big hit and his music isn’t going anywhere.

That’s what seems to be going on a lot in the music industry nowadays. When a band or an artist makes a song and it becomes a huge mainstream hit, someone will get all jealous and accuse them of plagiarism.

This Jesse Braham asshole doesn’t own the phrases “haters gonna hate” or “players gonna play” ’cause they’ve been popular internet terms for years now. I’m sure those phrases are in many other songs too.

He’s only attacking her ’cause he’s jealous of her fame and superstardom. Period.
