Video: Watch this classic interview with Kiss on Tom Snyder…

Here’s an old interview with Kiss on Tom Snyder back in 1979. It’s a must watch ’cause it’s a classic for sure. It’s hilarious and this video will make you smile and laugh.

Everybody knows that Ace Frehley has always been a shy and quiet guy. Ace has always kept to himself. However Ace was a totally different person in this interview. Ace was doing most of the talking and laughing his ass off throughout most of it. Ace was joking around and acting like a comedian. Ace was obviously really drunk ’cause you can tell that he is. Peter Criss was joking around and laughing along with Ace while Gene and Paul both are looking bored to death. I think Gene and Paul were just mad that Peter and Ace was getting most of the spotlight during this interview. This interview is comedy gold. It had me laughing for sure. It even had Tom Snyder crackin’ up as you can see. Watch this whole interview yourself from start to finish. It’s classic stuff. Gene is getting pissed ’cause he kept getting interrupted by Ace’s laughing.

Thanks to Peter Criss’s book, “Makeup To Breakup: My Life In and Out of Kiss” which introduced me to this interview so I had to check it out for myself. I’ve started reading this book last week and halfway through it. It’s a pretty long book so it’s gonna take me a while to finish. Great book so far, though. I think it’s the best Kiss book out of all the ones I’ve read. I’ll give this book a full review after I finish it.

Watch this interview if you want some entertainment. Funny stuff.

My thoughts on the Elvis and Priscilla marriage…

Priscilla Presley just did an interview with the Huffington Post Live to help promote the new Elvis album that just got released. During the interview, Priscilla revealed that her marriage with the King of Rock n’ roll was pretty hard. She says that people hated her for marrying him and they were hated for divorcing.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/priscilla-presley-reveals-the-hardest-part-of-being-married-to-elvis_56310a16e4b00aa54a4c43d9?ncid=fcbklnkushpsn00000001

Of course, this interview is sparking a lot of controversy and debate. Unfortunately, Priscilla is still being hated on even today… just read the comment section of that article.

Sure, Elvis may have started dating Priscilla when she was underage but like I said in the past many times before rock stars dating underage girls was pretty common back in those days. Also, doing a little research, while Elvis was attracted to young girls, he never had sex with any of them, though… that’s why he never got in trouble with any of it. Priscilla once said she never had sex with Elvis until their wedding day. That’s probably why Elvis never went to jail.

People may have hated them marrying and divorce but keep in mind that celebrity gossip and celebrity drama even existed long before the Kardashians. If you think the Kardashians are bad, the celebrity gossip surrounding the Presleys were much worse back in those days. It’s just that back in those days, there was no TMZ or internet but celebrity gossip was around back then, absolutely.

I hear Priscilla though and can understand why it would be hard to be married to the most famous guy in the world. People would be jealous of them and stuff like that. It’s not easy at all being married to someone famous. Why do you think so many celebrity couples get divorced pretty quickly?

I don’t think I would enjoy getting married to a famous woman. You want your name all over the gossip headlines and people spreading all kinds of nasty rumors about you? No thank you. I’m sure Priscilla had to go through all that. There were no internet or TMZ back then but there were still tabloids and radio, though.

Jerry Heller who is ex-manager of N.W.A. is mad at the makers of “Straight Outta Compton”, files lawsuit…

Was the breakup of legendary rap group the N.W.A. all Jerry Heller’s fault as the movie, “Straight Outta Compton” claimed? According to Jerry Heller the man himself, he says it’s all bullshit. Now he’s suing a lot of people who put the film together. He’s filed a lawsuit against Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Eazy E’s wife and NBC Universal. He’s seeking a big payment out of all this: $110 million. Jerry Heller was portrayed by the talented, Paul Giamatti in the film.

Jerry Heller was the guy who helped rise the N.W.A. to national fame.

More on the story here:

http://www.sltrib.com/home/3122380-155/ex-nwa-manager-sues-over-straight-outta

Wow… this really shows how shady and evil Jerry really is. Pretty classy to sue Eazy E’s wife when he died long ago. If he’s mad at the movie then it’s a pretty good indication that the movie was right. The truth bothered him. This lawsuit is probably gonna get thrown out anyways so I think there is nothing to worry about. He’s gonna have to prove how the film is damaging his reputation which is gonna be hard to do.

I still love the movie “Straight Outta Compton”. I thought was surprisingly an excellent movie and can’t wait for the BluRay! Thanks to this movie, I bought my own copy of the N.W.A. album, “Straight Outta Compton”, it’s a great album too.

Demi Lovato on Jimmy Fallon from last night…

Last night, I watched Jimmy Fallon ’cause Demi Lovato was gonna be a guest on there. Surprisingly, Demi seems like a sweetheart of a lady and she seems down to earth for sure. She came out to the stage wearing this unique looking dress that exposes cleavage. Yeah, she showed off some boobs last night as you can see in the videos here. You can tell that Jimmy can’t help himself but check out her chest. Why do you think women wear those kind of things that exposes their cleavage? It’s because they love that kind of attention of men checking them out, that’s why.

Whether you like Demi’s music or not, you can’t deny she’s fuckin’ hot.

When she performed on Jimmy last night, I thought she was entertaining as hell for sure. Yeah she was lip syncing no doubt but her act was enjoyable. I would like to see her live on stage myself but her tour with Nick Jonas isn’t coming anywhere around the Albany area sadly. Oh well.

I’m a pretty big fan of Demi. She looks like a porn star but at least she’s better to look at than Miley… way better than Miley.

Is Maynard James Keenan a big “Tool” himself? I’d say yes!!!

So I take it that Maynard James Keenan hates his own fanbase? It seems so. He seems to hate Tool fans anyway which seems to be the reason why Maynard has been staying away from Tool lately. The other guys in Tool want him back for a full reunion so they can release a new album and go on a full tour but it seems that Maynard doesn’t want to. Instead, Maynard agreed to do a one-off show with the band in which they will headline, Monster Mash Music Festival.

http://consequenceofsound.net/2015/10/maynard-james-keenan-wants-nothing-to-do-with-tool-or-their-fans/

It seems to me that Maynard isn’t in it for the fame or popularity. That’s pretty obvious, I think. He seems to be into music for himself, pretty much. He just probably wants to make a living off of it, that’s all he pretty much cares about.

Sorry but this Maynard James Keenan seems like a real “Tool” himself. He seems like a big douche. He maybe a talented frontman and I’m a fan of Tool myself but it can’t be denied that the guy is an asshole. I can’t stand those musicians who’ll hate on their own fans. It’s not cool really. Unprofessional and dumb.

I think the other guys in Tool should just get rid of him and replace a new singer, that’s what a lot of iconic bands seems to be doing lately. If Tool wants to keep moving forward with their music and if Maynard is being all difficult and a huge pain in the ass, then they should boot him. Get someone else. I can see the band doing something like that for sure.

I do like Tool, though. Used to listen to them a lot when I was in high school.

Phil Collins making a comeback to music full time with new album & full tour…

Welp… looks like Phil Collins has joined the “retired” and “comeback” bandwagon like most bands & artists has been doing these days. Too many bands & artists are doing that these days… claiming that they’re done and then they make a huge comeback. Kiss has done it. Phish has done it. Garth Brooks has done it. David Bowie has done it. This list can go on all day.

I was never a big Phil Collins fan anyway ’cause I always thought he was overrated. His music is not my cup of tea. Although, I do believe that “Sussudio” is one of his only good songs. When he goes back on tour full time, I’m pretty sure he’ll perform all of his greatest hits, Genesis songs along with his new material.

Since Phil took a long break from the industry, he’s gonna have to rebuild his fan base again which shouldn’t be a problem for him at all. I’m sure people still love him after all these years and I’m sure he’ll make a bunch of new fans as well.

Paul Stanley’s book, “Face the Music: A Life Exposed”… probably the most honest rock memoir I’ve read…

I’ve finished reading Paul Stanley’s book, “Face the Music: A Life Exposed” and wow. I think it’s definitely the best rock memoir I’ve read. I’ve read a lot of memoirs by other rock stars over the years but Paul Stanley’s book is the best of them all, in my opinion. I used to think of Kiss as a bunch of egomaniacs and arrogant guys but now I have huge respect for them. Gene Simmons maybe a bit egomaniacal and arrogant yes but Paul Stanley, no. To me, Paul seems very real, intelligent and down to earth.

I was glad to read Paul’s take on the whole Kiss feud with the original members. Paul told some pretty interesting and funny stories in this book. It’s a long read but a good book. A must read for any Kiss fan or if you’re a newbie, read it anyway.

This was a pretty ballsy book of him to write too. In the past, I wasn’t that much of a fan of Kiss but now I’m pretty much a die-hard. I heard all of their albums on Apple Music and now trying to read all their books to get their side of the story on their feuds.

I like to read a lot of rock memoirs ’cause I like learning about the rock n’ roll lifestyle… see what it’s like to live that kind of life. Would I ever become a rock star? Not sure. It’s kind of late for me to get there now ’cause I’m heading in my 40’s but I just do music for fun. I don’t care whether I get signed or become big or not. The rock n’ roll lifestyle is interesting to learn about, anyways.

New David Bowie album confirmed but the “jazzy” sound is false???

The official David Bowie facebook just confirmed that “Blackstar”, the new album by Bowie will be released on his birthday but it seems like that they are shooting down the rumors of the albums “jazzy” sound… that’s all the details they’ll give of it so far.

I wonder if Bowie will go on a small tour or play a one-off show for the album? I doubt it though ’cause he hasn’t appeared on stage in like over a decade. He might be done performing live but he’s not done making new music. Bowie has a family and a daughter so he would rather spend time with them than spending time on the road which I can understand.

I really do wish Bowie would perform live again and who knows, never say never. I think he will one day perform a “one-off” show so he can perform all of his greatest hits. He is a phenomenal live performer and I miss him on the stage. I think he will whenever he’s ready to. I’m sure he misses performing too.

Demi Lovato’s new album, “Confident” isn’t really all that bad either… probably the best album she did…

Yeah, I know Demi Lovato is mostly famous for starring in the “Camp Rock” movies which was how she rose to fame but I’ve got to hear all of her albums and quite enjoyed them all. Her music is actually pretty enjoyable. A lot of her music can be surprisingly rock n’ roll too especially her first album, “Don’t Forget”. Of course, she changes musical styles over the years so she can fit in the current mainstream of pop music.

Her newest album, “Confident” was probably the best album she did, though. The songs are pretty fun on that one. A lot more rap & hip hop on it.

I never watched any of Demi’s Disney stuff on TV and never saw her show, “Sonny With a Chance”… I just wanted to hear her music so I did. Her music really isn’t all that bad but “Confident” was her best album, in my opinion. I dig her voice and her songs are pretty catchy. At first I thought she was just some Disney star and just some pop star trying to get some attention but her music was surprisingly enjoyable actually. If you give her a chance, you might actually like her stuff too. I’ll probably never watch her shows but I’ll probably read her book “Staying Strong”, though. Give Demi a chance and you’ll see that she’s a talented music artist… plus, she’s a really gorgeous and hot girl for sure.

She may have had a past addiction with drugs & alcohol but seeing how she’s all better now and cleaned herself up that was good enough for me to get my respect for her so I started supporting her by listening to her music. Her bettering her life was inspirational and good stuff… hope she stays this way.
