When are we going to see Asuka on RAW or Smackdown Live??? She’s getting a lot of attention on NXT…

asuka-2.jpg

I know I’m late getting into NXT wrestling but late is better than never. I just started watching finally out of curiosity to see what it’s about. What NXT is, it’s a wrestling show from WWE in which Triple H is in charge of. NXT was founded by legends Triple H and Dusty Rhodes. NXT is a a third wrestling brand for young wrestling rookies where they could get their start in pro wrestling. That’s where all these new wrestler superstars on RAW/Smackdown Live are coming, from they’ve come from NXT.

I’ve just started watching NXT on WWE Network ’cause that’s the only place where you can watch NXT is on the Network, WWE’s own streaming service. I’m glad I started watching NXT ’cause it’s good stuff really. Which is no surprise since NXT is owned by Triple H and that man seems to know what he’s doing running his own shows.

The reason I started watching is ’cause this wrestling character by the name of Asuka caught my attention. She’s a Japanese wrestler. She’s currently NXT Women’s Champion and she’s been undefeated for a while. I’m impressed by her look, her image and her gimmick is supercool too. I guess I have a huge thing for Asian women ’cause I love ’em. Most importantly, she’s also a very talented wrestler. Most female wrestlers in WWE don’t do much in the ring but Asuka is pretty technical. She does way more than slap, punch, pull hair and kick.

Asuka is getting a lot of attention on NXT and she’s already getting so many fans. I’ve watched NXT Takeover and she definitely caught my attention and I’m already a fan of hers. So this weekend, I’ve started watching older NXT shows just so I can watch more of her. The more I watch of Asuka and I only saw two matches of hers so far, the more I think she’s going to be something special in the WWE. You’re looking at the next icon… she could be bigger than Sable, Trish Stratus, Lita, Chyna, etc.

Asuka needs to be on RAW or Smackdown Live soon and I think she will. I haven’t watched Smackdown in many years but if they put her on there, I’ll watch Smackdown for her but if they put her on RAW that’ll be cool. Hopefully they put her on RAW/Smackdown ’cause she deserves to be on the next Wrestlemania card.

Charlotte, Bayley and Sasha Banks maybe getting a lot of attention on RAW/Smackdown Live lately but once Asuka comes around, they’ll be quickly forgotten. Asuka is one star wrestling fans should look out for. I’m going to watch more Asuka matches on NXT tonight.

Last night’s “WWE Payback” ppv was probably the worst ppv of this year… there were only two good matches on it…

Is WWE starting to go downhill again? It looks like it. I watched “WWE Payback” on the Network  last night and it was a horrible ppv. The WWE isn’t always good, though. Sometimes they do get really good and sometimes they get really lame. Last night was really lame.

There were only two great matches last night on “Payback”… I thought Jericho vs. Owens was a really entertaining as hell match. That was the best match of the night and I’m glad Jericho won the USA Title from Owens. I don’t like how the WWE has been using Jericho as of late ’cause he’s a great performer, one of my favorites. I’m glad the WWE finally made Jericho look like a star again ’cause they have been making Jericho look weak for a while now.

I thought the Hardy’s vs. Cesaro & Sheamus was a great tag team match as well. Cesaro & Sheamus turning heel didn’t surprise me, though ’cause I had a feeling it was coming.

Most of last night’s ppv wasn’t that good at all. Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton “House of Horrors” was the stupidest match I’ve seen in a long time. I’m like what was that? This Wyatt vs. Orton storyline is turning out to be some horror film or something. The feud is too gimmicky. I mean, why not focus on the wrestling? This feud is getting stupid. Probably the dumbest storyline since the Triple H & Kane necrophilia bullshit.

The main event with Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman, uuuggghhhh… that was a boring as hell match too. It didn’t end very well.

I don’t know, it wasn’t a very good ppv at all. WWE better step its game up if they want people to watch it again. I’m also getting kind of fed up of how WWE keeps ramming NXT and the Cruiserweight division down our throats. That’s another reason WWE is going downhill. I understand WWE wants to give the new stars the spotlight but there are talented guys who deserve the spotlight too and maybe I’ll have another post on that soon.

I love wrestling and all but like everyone else, I don’t like how Vince McMahon wants to ignore the “wrestling” part of it. He’s so hung up on making wrestling “family entertainment” and I don’t like it either. I miss the old days of wrestling in the 90’s and 2000’s years when it used to be dark & edgy. I miss all the blood and hardcore wrestling, we don’t get that anymore. Sad.

Is Kane about to retire from wrestling to become a mayor of Knoxville, Tenn???

In WWE, we haven’t seen much of Kane lately. We’ve been seeing less and less of Kane on WWE RAW. He hasn’t been around. This could be the reason why. Kane (real name: Glenn Jacobs) is running for mayor in his hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee.

The Undertaker retired from wrestling for good so is Kane next? A Kane retirement from wrestling hasn’t been confirmed yet but rumors has been swirling like crazy, though. It does seem like he’s on his way out of the wrestling business ’cause if you noticed him in this video, he’s growing his hair back out. When he performed on RAW, he was completely bald.

It’s looking like Glenn maybe a Republican/Conservative ’cause if you listen to him in this video, he’s all for low taxes and small government.

This isn’t the first time someone from WWE got involved in politics… most notably Linda McMahon who is now a part of Trump’s administration and also Jesse Ventura who was the former governor of Minnesota.

Once again, is Kane’s career in wrestling over? We’ll have to wait and see. If he wins the mayor election then his wrestling days are probably gonna be over for good but if he loses the election, he might stick around wrestling a little while longer. We’ll have to wait and see.

Vince McMahon returned on RAW last Monday, the day after Wrestlemania and he got the biggest crowd pop! WOW!!!

I’ll have to agree that this was best entrance Vince McMahon had in years and the crowd was amazing to him too. I’m reading some of the comments in that video and many fans are slamming the fans, saying all kinds of shit like: “Why are they cheering on Vince for being so high on Roman Reigns” (Roman Reigns, a wrestler fans hate).

Well, let me tell you why the fans are cheering Vince and giving him a standing ovation you negative idiots. Not only that Vince McMahon is one of the best performers in wrestling but the reason fans respect him so much is ’cause simply put, the man’s a fucking legend. Period?

They’re cheering him on and giving him a standing ovation ’cause Vince gave us professional wrestling and he gave us “sports entertainment”. Without Vince McMahon, the WWE wouldn’t have gotten so huge and powerful like the company is today. That’s why WWE fans respect the hell out of this guy. This is just our way of thanking him for giving us wrestling. Even though Vince stopped calling it “wrestling” and calling it “entertainment”, I’m still gonna call it “wrestling”.

The WWF/WWE has been in business for over 30 years and it took fans this long to realize that Vince McMahon is a genius. He really is. Vince deserved that crowd reaction all the way. Whether Vince plays a good guy or a bad guy owner of WWE, fans will always love him no matter what. Vince is a legend, there’s no denying that.

Vince doesn’t appear on TV much anymore ’cause he’s pretty much semi-retired as an on TV performer. I do miss the old days of Vince during the Attitude Era where he was really evil and fans hated him to death… oh man, the Vince vs. Stone Cold feud was great stuff.

I’ve always respected the hell out of Vince; although, I will admit that he’s sometimes horrible at booking and storylines. Other than that, the dude is a genius. Non-wrestling fans needs to give him more respect ’cause it’s him that gets parents out to arenas to get their kids to see live wrestling shows. It’s all on Vince, y’all. He does that.

After Wrestlemania & retirement, Undertaker continues to work in entertainment business but in other adventures…

So the Undertaker is done with WWE and he’s done with wrestling for good. That means the Undertaker is finally free to do whatever he wants to do career wise. Here is Undertaker’s first public appearance after his retirement in WWE.

Here is the Undertaker helping to promote George Strait’s Las Vegas shows by talking about how George influenced ‘Taker. So ‘Taker is a fan of country music? Cool.

‘Taker may be gone in wrestling but ‘Taker himself is not gone. I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of him in the future. I predict we’ll soon see ‘Taker do a lot of TV interviews to talk about his retirement. Could we soon see ‘Taker on late night talk shows like Fallon, Kimmel, etc.??? Possibly. ‘Taker has done some TV interviews back when he had the American Bad Ass biker gimmick. He couldn’t do TV interviews during the Deadman gimmick ’cause he had to keep the character mysterious.

It’ll be interesting to see what ‘Taker is planning to do in his career in the future, though. He’ll probably want to do some other things besides wrestling like maybe do some acting or something. I think he had a few movie roles in the past before, though.

Who knew that George Strait is a fan of wrestling? Cool, hey?

Cool video footage of the Undertaker backstage at Wrestlemania last Sunday night…

https://twitter.com/YoungBucxks/status/849418303885934592

Here is video of the Undertaker walking backstage after his match with Roman Reigns from last Sunday’s Wrestlemania after the show ended. ‘Taker walking backstage with his wife Michelle McCool. Undertaker himself seems to be in a good mood as you can see.

So what’s next for ‘Taker now that he’s all done wrestling? Will he move on to a new career soon? Like get some movie roles or maybe write a book? I think it’ll be cool if he wrote his own autobiography so he can tell us how he got into the wrestling business.

Anyways, ‘Taker has been a part of wrestling for most of his life and I think he deserves some time for himself.

Wrestling fans may despise Roman Reigns now but give it time, he’ll become a fan favorite in the future!

Like the title of this topic says, wrestling fans may despise Roman Reigns right now but a few years from now, I think Reigns will soon become a fan favorite. Why do people hate Reigns so much? Is it because he beats fan favorites? Is it because of his wrestling skills? Is it because of his mic work? I think it’s a combination of all three.

The main reason people despise the guy so much is that he was handpicked by Vince McMahon to be the top guy in WWE when fans thinks others deserve it more. Vince has been so high on Roman Reigns, Vince wants Reigns to be the face of the company. John Cena used to be the top guy in the WWE who everyone hates but since everyone likes Cena now… Vince wants Reigns to be the WWEs’ top guy. Fans don’t like that.

To me, I find no problem with Reigns. I think the dude is a complete badass and I mean that. I think Reigns has got a great look and I honestly think he’s one of the best wrestlers we have right now. Fans just won’t admit that he’s a great wrestler and he is. Reigns is right up there with Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Owen Hart. I really mean that too.

Like I said, the wrestling community may despise Roman Reigns but give it time… there will be a time when everyone will realize that Reigns is something special and he’ll soon become the top babyface in WWE. Babyface aka a hero and good guy wrestler.

Keep in mind, guys, that when wrestlers like: The Undertaker, Stone Cold, The Rock and Triple H they all started off as heels for a long while. People hated all those guys when they first came to WWF/WWE. It took wrestling fans a long while to realize that those guys I mentioned were something special and now those guys are top babyfaces in the company. The same happened with Randy Orton, he too started off as a heel but everyone loved him later.

I think the same will happen with Roman Reigns. The WWE are gonna try to figure out a way to get fans to love him sometime down the road, trust me. I think Reigns will become the next Stone Cold and Rock someday in the future. This is how the Undertaker’s retirement will help Reigns.

I know fans are gonna hate on me for liking Roman Reigns but I think the dude is awesome. Great performer and great wrestler. Probably one of the best in the industry right now. Sorry wrestling fans but Reigns is never going away. He’s gonna be in WWE for a pretty long time. Vince knows what he’s doing. He ain’t dumb like you think.

Two real things happened on Wrestlemania last night: Undertaker retirement and John Cena/Nikki Bella engagement…

Professional wrestling maybe fake and scripted but not always. Sometimes real things can happen on these shows. Two real things happened last night on Wrestlemania. Undertaker retiring and John Cena finally proposing to his longtime girlfriend, Nikki Bella. I’m almost 100% sure the John Cena proposal to Nikki wasn’t scripted. This brought back to the time when Macho Man Randy Savage proposing to Miss Elizabeth on a past Wrestlemania and they became a real life married couple for a while after that. So if it happened to them, the same can happen to John & Nikki. Well, I’m sure Cena had to get Vince McMahon’s approval first to propose to Nikki in front of the whole world and obviously Vince was all for it ’cause it gave the WWE good publicity. The John Cena and Nikki engagement is all over the news. The Cena/Bella engagement, that’s kayfabe.

After Undertaker removing his wrestling gear and celebrating his retirement and wrestling career with his fans, walking over to ringside to kiss his wife… that was all kayfabe.

The term kayfabe is a wrestling term in the community meaning things that happen in wrestling that is real. It’s when wrestlers go out of character and do unscripted things. Again, wrestling maybe fake but not all the time. Sometimes real things do happen. That word, “kayfabe”. There was some of that last night at Wrestlemania which was cool. WWE needs more kayfabe ’cause it makes the shows more interesting.

I too liked the Cena and Nikki Bella engagement a lot. It showed that Cena is a great guy in real life and after that, I like him a lot more now. Cena and Nikki Bella weren’t the only power couple in wrestling who ended up being real couples in real life: Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth for starters… Undertaker & Michelle McCool, Tyson Kidd & Nattie, Brock Lesnar & Sable, CM Punk & AJ Lee, Jimmy Uso & Naomi, Rusev & Lana, etc.

I wonder if Cena & Nikki will have a private wedding or do an on TV wedding like with Savage/Elizabeth. We’ll have to wait and see. I wouldn’t be surprised if Cena & Nikki films their wedding for “Total Divas” reality show. The Tyson Kidd and Nattie wedding was aired on “Total Divas”, I think.

Now that Undertaker is done with wrestling, will they finally put him in the Hall of Fame for next year’s ‘Mania? I would think that is next for him…

I can understand why Undertaker and WWE don’t want to put Undertaker in the WWE Hall of Fame yet. Probably the reason is, they wanted to keep the Deadman gimmick mysterious and if they put him in the Hall of Fame, it would ruin the character. It would have made Undertaker look like a regular person and not a Deadman, know what I mean? Now that the Undertaker is no more, they are probably free to put him in the Hall of Fame. Hopefully that will be for next year’s ‘Mania.

Now that the Undertaker is done, Wrestlemania will no longer be the same without him. I believe Wrestlemania continued on to become huge successes because of ‘Taker. Over the years of his life and career, I haven’t seen anybody say anything negative about him. Not even other wrestlers said anything negative about him ’cause ‘Taker was always considered a locker room leader. Everyone in the business respected him and looked up to him.

I’m sure the WWE are gonna try to create new gimmicks similar to the Undertaker but no matter what they try to pull, no one would be able to replace the Undertaker. No one will top the Undertaker.

He’s gonna be missed but hey, superstars come and go in the wrestling business. That’s just the way it is. Undertaker wasn’t the first wrestler who retired publicly on WWE TV… superstars who also retired on TV: Edge, Daniel Bryan, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and maybe some others. There are some wrestlers who are still semi-retired but only perform occasionally like the Rock, Triple H and a few others.

I expect the Undertaker to appear on RAW tonight so he can deliver his farewell speech which should be interesting.

After seeing all this, I’m realizing we don’t have many superstars from the past left. There are only very few longtime superstars that are still with us today… we still have Chris Jericho, Big Show, Goldust and we still have Kane. A lot of rumors swirling around that Kane maybe retiring this year.

This explains why we have so many new wrestlers in the industry today ’cause all the guys from the past are gone from the business so gotta bring in new stars to keep the business alive.

Thoughts on Undertaker retirement and Wrestlemania 33 review…

Wow. What a Wrestlemania. So the Undertaker retires by losing match against Roman Reigns last night? I notice some wrestling fans are disappointed and angry with that but hey, I actually loved that! Undertaker retires in style! It’s just his way of going out with a bang. That’s going out on a positive note. I’m sure the Undertaker himself only chooses of who he loses matches to. It was his decision to lose Wrestlemania streak to Brock Lesnar and now it’s his decision to lose his final match to Roman Reigns. It was a great match, though! Undertaker matches are always thrilling and exciting. Last night, I grew more respect to Roman Reigns even more as he is my favorite wrestler now.

A lot of wrestling fans are going, why does ‘Taker’s final match have to be against someone like Roman Reigns instead of another well known icon like Kane? Ya know, I think it was a smart move that ‘Taker would lose his final match to a new superstar we don’t know much about. ‘Taker just helped Roman Reigns get the opportunity of a lifetime. Give someone else a chance for the spotlight and recognition. I’m tired of all these old stars hogging the spotlight and it’s about giving someone new and young a chance. I’m willing to bet that it was ‘Taker’s decision to lose his final match to Roman Reigns (not Vince McMahon’s decision), that is what he wanted. It’s a smart move to lose your final match. Maybe ‘Taker himself respects the hell out of Roman Reigns and wanted to help him boost his career some?

Anyways, I know a lot of wrestling fans are disappointed and sad that this is Undertaker’s last match but it doesn’t surprise me. An Undertaker retirement was bound to happen anyways. I mean, Mark Calloway is 52 years old and I’m pretty sure his body can’t take it anymore since he is aging. On top of that, Undertaker just had major hip replacement surgery earlier this year and that’s another reason for him calling it quits. His body can’t take it anymore ’cause he had a 26 year career in the business.

Plus, Undertaker is a family man as he is married to Michelle McCool (former WWE Diva) and they have a daughter together. One powerful moment after Undertaker’s match got over with, he took off his wrestling gear and left it in the middle of the ring. After that, he celebrated his retirement and career with his fans then he gave his wife a kiss at ringside. Undertaker went totally out of character after the match which was amazing.

Anyway, on with the rest of Wrestlemania… it was a great show except the only match I didn’t care for at all was Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt. That match was pretty boring. It was also strange and very bizarre. I was hoping the match would be a lot better than that but it turned out to be pretty stupid.

I thought the best matches of the night were AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon, a lot of high flying stuff as you would expect. Very entertaining match. Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens was great but I was hoping that Jericho would win and retain but of course, Jericho loses again.

The Fatal 4 Way RAW Women’s championship was awesome and I’m glad Bayley won. I think you’re going to see Bayley as women’s champion for a long while ’cause she’s getting really popular I see. She’s my favorite too.

The Best thing that happened last night at WM was the Hardy Boys coming back. No superstars from the past returned except for the Hardys, Matt and Jeff. The iconic tag team. The most talented high flyers of all time! I love Matt and Jeff. They’re my favorite as well. Looks like the Hardy Boys are back in a full time run now they are tag team champions. Hope the Hardy’s stick around for a long while. Matt and Jeff were looking good last night as they were looking clean and healthy (both had a problem with drugs over the years). That’s probably why they finally returned to WWE ’cause WWE saw they got themselves clean and healthy. In the ring, the Hardy Boys still got it after all these years, they killed that match. It was amazing. One of the best ladder matches I’ve seen in a long time!

As far as the John Cena and Nikki in-ring proposal goes, that was pretty cool as it does bring back memories of the Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth love story.

Triple H vs. Seth Rollins was good and I’m glad Seth won.

Lesnar vs. Goldberg was okay but predictably another short match. Goldberg matches always seem to be a short match, not sure why. Maybe it’s his age maybe?

One thing I find strange about last night’s show, was that they didn’t do any entertaining backstage segments at all. They usually do that every year too but they didn’t this year. Each year at WM they usually have a bunch of wrestling legends doing silly things and then Ron Simmons comes up and does his usual, “Damn” catchphrase but they didn’t do that this year. Like they didn’t have time for that this year.

It was a really good Wrestlemania. Other than the Hardy Boys returning, no other superstars from the past returned. No Hogan. No Sting. I’m sure those two guys will return soon, though. Not the best Wrestlemania but I’ve seen better.
