BREAKING NEWS: Alec Baldwin plans to quit acting in 2012…

Film actor and TV star, Alec Baldwin, announced some shocking news that he is quitting acting in, 2012. Is he serious or full of shit? Me, thinks he’s full of it. This guy claims his film career was a failure, but I disagree with him.

More on it here:

He claims his film career is not a box office success?

Hello, Alec, I think he’s delusional and just fucking with us, look at his box office mojo….

http://boxofficemojo.com/people/chart/?id=alecbaldwin.htm

He also claims that in order to become an actor, you must have the acting talent that drives the film?

I thought he was fantastic in “Hunt for the Red October” and “Glengarry Glenross”. Those two roles were amazing and delivered them. What would those movies be like if he wasn’t in them? Did you see his cameo in “Glengarry Glenross” when he’s yelling and screaming at a bunch of sales men? Great performance.

“The Hunt For the Red October” was his biggest role, so how could he call that a failure?

What about his role in, “The Departed” which is an Oscar winner and “Pearl Harbor” which is a box office hit?

He next stars in a film with Steve Martin and Meryl Streep, that film is getting big and getting a lot of recogntion as it already is. So how can he call his career a failure? Man he is so wrong.

I don’t think he’s quitting. Publicity stunt.

BREAKING NEWS: Oprah to end her show in 2011…WOOOT…GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

It’s about time! We will soon no longer get to hear that annoying screaming from the ladies anymore!

After this, I don’t see Oprah going away from TV anytime soon. Will she become a late night host for NBC in the future? Probably.

I’m glad she’ll be gone from the 4 o’ clock hour at least.

Can’t stand Oprah.

Cool Video: Dolph Lundgren makes surprise appearance on the Tonight Show with Conan O’ Brien…

Last night, on the Conan O’ Brien show, he came up with a pretty good idea that he was going to announce a few celebrity birthdays, and he was going to have one of them appear on the show. Hide a celebrity in a huge box and will reveal who it is later in the show.

Dolph Lundgren appears on the Tonight Show celebrating his birthday with Conan O’ Brien. Dolph hardily ever appears on TV that much and it’s good to see him again. Dolph is still looking good, too. Happy Birthday Dolph!

Megan Fox and U2 on SNL last night…

I never really watch SNL anymore, but I had to watch the SNL 35th premiere last night ’cause my favorite celebrity woman, Megan Fox, was on last night. I kept thinking to myself that the new episode would be a stinker and a borefest, but it wasn’t. It was surprisingly entertaining and actually funny all the way through.

Meg did a good job hosting.

I’m glad she is appearing on TV more often. As for U2 they were pretty good as usual, but I thought it was kind of silly that Bono was singing through a glow in the dark microphone toward the end of it, and Bono was swinging back and forth on the mic like a kid at the playground.

Usually SNL ends with their “ending” theme with the SNL band, but they ended the show with U2 playing a third song while the credits were rolling. Maybe this is a new way of SNL ending their shows from now on, their musical guests will end the show, not the SNL band.

Today’s SNL is kind of getting better and improving. I like Seth Myers, Will Forte, and Andy Samberg the newer guys. I used to like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler but they’re no longer on the show although they still make occasional appearances.

I only watch SNL if there is a good host on, I don’t watch it every week.

Report: Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay signs two year deal for “Law and Order: SVU”…they are staying put…for now…

There’s been worries that “Law and Order: SVU’s” two biggest stars, Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni were going to get the pink slip from the show, but not too worry, they aren’t going anywhere! At least for now. The two has signed a two year deal to stay with the show. Look like Dick Wolf somehow agreed to give them a raise they asked for, they’ll be getting paid $400,000 an episode, much higher than they were paid before.

NBC is smart. It would be insane if they left the show, so I’m happy they are on for another two years. Good news. The show’s ratings would tank without them on.

Thought: Spinal Tap, “Back From the Dead” and their performance on Conan O’ Brien last night…

“This is Spinal Tap” is one of my favorite movies of all time. I love that film to death, the film is so hilarious and one of the best comedies ever made, in my opinion. I’m so glad that these guys are making Spinal Tap a real band now. If the Monkees can do it, why can’t Spinal Tap, right?

Last night on, “The Tonight Show” with Conan O’ Brien, Spinal Tap was the musical guest and my god, they played one fucking amazing performance, I was blown away! The original lineup playing their original characters: Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer, all in character last night! I was most impressed with Christopher Guest’s guitar skills. He played a killer solo during that song they were playing.

After that performance, I’m thinking to myself, why would a talented guitar player like Christopher Guest mostly direct movies instead of the music? It looks like Christopher wants to concentrate on music more now because Spinal Tap released a new album this week and they are on a summer tour in support of it.

Spinal Tap are funny guys and talented musicians as well. I’m definitely picking up their new album, “Back from the Dead” this week. Along with the new Ghostbusters video game for the PS3 and the “Friday the 13th” movie on DVD. I plan on going to the mall this Thursday to get all those.

Back to Spinal Tap, I’m glad they are back. Is this a sign that they are planning a new movie in the works for the big screen? Is this why they released a new album and tour so they can document it all for another film? Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s what they are planning.

Report: “My Name Is Earl” is done for good, lets hope a Jason Lee return to the big screen full time…

Like the blog title says, I hope Jason Lee decides to return to hollywood films full time. I prefer him doing that, instead of TV. Jason’s a really good film actor. My favorite movie role Jason Lee has been in was the Cameron Crowe film “Almost Famous”, when he plays the lead singer of that fictional rock band. He’s also really good in ‘Big Trouble”, “Enemy of the State”, and “Stephen King’s Dreamcatcher”. I hope he doesn’t get another TV show and just come back to working on movies.

“My Name Is Earl” started off with a good start first two seasons, then I stopped watching somewhere in the third season.

“The Tonight Show” with Conan O’ Brien thoughts….

I really liked it a lot. Very entertaining and hilarious all the way through. Conan’s new show is no different than the last one. It’s still the same. Only difference, new studio design and new city. Although I do not like Will Ferrell, he was actually entertaining last night.

Pearl Jam played a great performance, they played a rare release of a song that I never heard before. So I guess, Pearl Jam did play one of their new songs from their upcoming new album that they’ve been recording in the studio. I’m actually glad Pearl Jam didn’t play anything off the “Ten” album and played something totally new that was never released. Smart thing!

I’m just glad we don’t have to stay up so late just to watch Conan anymore. Glad he is on earlier!
