Report: Warner Bros. getting closer to winning full copyrights of Superman…

The lawyer for Joe Shuster, and Jerry Siegel, Marc Toberoff, got a huge slap in the face in court during this long nasty battle on, “Superman” copyrights, against Warner Bros. The First Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit, ordered Toberoff to turn over stolen documents that were taken in 2008. The papers were stolen by David Michaels and delivered anonymously to Warner Bros.

I don’t think, this means that Warner Bros. has full control of Superman now, but it’s in the right direction to get there. They’re getting closer, I think. I don’t know a whole lot about this legal bullshit, but I want Warner Bros. to get the full rights.

This Marc Toberoff, sounds like a sleazy lawyer, anyway. While I’m sure some are siding with the Siegel’s, I’m siding with Warner Bros. on this one. Warner Bros. worked hard on Superman for years, so they don’t deserve to have the Superman rights taken away from them.

I love the Superman character and the stories. Big fan. It would be sad if the rights gets taken away after years and years of entertaining Superman fans.

I understand that the rights should go to it’s original creators, the Siegel’s, but they already agreed to sell the rights to WB’s years back. That’s what WB’s trying to prove, I think.

Finally, the official, “Man Of Steel” facebook page is online…

Warner Bros. finally put up their official facebook page for the “Man of Steel” movie, directed by Zack Snyder. Proof that it’s Warner Bros. page? Check the new S shield logo at the top. That’s never been released before anywhere. Could that be the possible teaser poster?

See the official facebook page of “Man of Steel”, here.

That’s where they’ll be posting the trailers, posters, movie stills, news, etc.

I’m really praying they did a good job with this movie, and I hope Zack doesn’t mess it up. I want a really good Superman movie like everyone else. I hope this is a Superman movie that we’ve all been wanting for years. A great Superman movie told with heart and plenty of action.

The Superman franchise tries their best to come out with a great movie but fails every time. Hopefully this film, will make everyone walk out of the theater with smiles on our faces, and that’s what we want out of a Superman movie!

Report: Kevin Bacon set to star in a serial killer TV series, but he won’t be playing the serial killer…

Kevin Bacon is heading back to the small screen to star in a serial killer TV series, which will air on FOX. Kevin is mostly known for playing villains on the big screen in movies, but he won’t be playing the serial killer in this series. It looks like he’ll be playing the FBI agent. If all good with Warner Bros., the 1st season will have a 15 episode run.

More on the story, here.

I like Kevin Bacon as an actor but it seems that he’s been staying away from big screen movies and doing TV work more. Is this a sign that he’s about ready to hang up and retire from acting soon?

Kevin’s a great actor. Some of my favorite films that he’s been in are: The River Wild, Sleepers, Stir of Echoes, Death Sentence, and he was good in X-Men: First Class.

Game Review: “Batman: Arkham City”

Well, I finally finished, “Batman: Arkham City” after 2 or 3 months playing it. It was a pretty long game. This is the sequel to Rocksteady’s, “Arkham Asylum”. The sequel here, continues the story from where it left off.

The story is set in “Arkham City” which is a very large prison, similar to “Arkham Asylum” but much larger. Bruce Wayne is arrested by Hugo Strange’s Tyger mercenaries, and forced to be put in imprisonment in, “Arkham City”. Batman learns from Joker’s doctor, that the Joker is sick with a disease that came from the Titan formula that is mutating in Joker’s blood. Batman is sick with the same disease. They must get the cure to get rid of this disease or they will both die.

That’s enough with the plot, on with the game review. As expected, “Arkham City” was much better than the first. It’s a much longer game and more challenging. There are a lot of more Riddler trophies you have to find in this one, however, you must figure out all these difficult puzzles in order to get to trophy. Batman must collect all 400 trophies throughout the game in order to confront, the Riddler.

In this game, you will see some familiar characters: Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Ra Al Ghul, the MadHatter, Calendar Man, Bane, Solomon Grundy, Penguin, Harley Quinn, etc. Quite a lot of Batman villains appear in the game. Calendar Man only appeared in a small cameo though. The Joker, of course, was voiced by none other than the great, Mark Hammill, who did a great job as usual.

When I say this is a difficult and challenging game, I’m not kiddin! The game was a bitch throughout most of it. When you get into combats with the thugs, you get to fight like 10 – 20 guys all at once. The bosses can be pretty hard too. The fighting techniques in the game is more technical then the last game, “Arkham Asylum”. You can do a lot more moves. You have to learn flying techniques as well.

I was very impressed with the game. It’s definitely one of the best games of 2011, that’s for sure. I thought the graphics was insane and the musical score was amazing as well. I did play the Catwoman character, and she is a blast. I hope we get to play her more in the third game.

In the third Batman game, when Rocksteady starts doing one, I hope the next game will actually take place in, “Gotham City”. Plus, I want to control Batman driving the Batmobile or the Batwing, in the next one. Make the next game more like the Grand Theft Auto series, ya know?

As for my, “Best Video Games of 2011” list, it’s still coming. I think I’m only going to give a top 5 instead of a top 10. Because I haven’t played much games in 2011, only like 8 games. I plan to start playing, “Battlefield 3” tonight, and soon after that, “Skyrim”. So after I finish those two games, I’ll have the list up on the blog.

“Batman: Arkham City” was incredible, do yourself a favor and get it soon!

More on that mysterious face on “TDK: Rises” Bane poster…

Some guy in a Superman fan forum in facebook, did this photo, trying to prove that mysterious face on the, “TDK: Rises”, Bane poster is a reference to Superman.

There are still a lot of people that say that the mysterious face is nothing and not Superman at all, but I believe it is.

That’s the whole point of the mystery, I guess. Christopher Nolan is a creative genius, he knows how to get people talking about his movies.

Is Superman’s face mysteriously hidden on the “Dark Knight: Rises” Bane poster???

This website, comicbook.com, was the first to discover this before anyone else noticed it. The first “Dark Knight: Rises” poster where we see Gotham City crumbling and falling apart, you see the Superman S shield on one of the buildings.

In the new “Dark Knight: Rises” poster with Bane, you see a mysterious hidden face that could reference Henry Cavill as Superman. You can see the mysterious Superman face slightly beside Bane’s head in the poster.

I’m sure many of you would call it a fake and photoshopped but if you look at the “Dark Knight: Rises” official site, the mysterious face is still there. The mysterious face was definitely put there intentionally. Is it Superman’s face? Probably, because the way it is shown it is shaped like an S shield. If you look at the vertical version of the poster here, you see the mysterious face in a different position, it’s between the letters “E” and “G, in the word, “Legend”.

What’s with all the Superman mysteries in the Batman posters? Could this mean that Superman is in, “The Dark Knight: Rises”, in some way? If so, that would be pretty fuckin’ cool, if Superman was in “TDK: Rises”.

It doesn’t surprise me that Superman could possibly be appearing in the next Batman film, since both the new Batman and Superman movies are being made at the same time. Batman and Superman have teamed up for years in comics and animated movies. It’s time to team them up in a live action movie, which was long over due.

Cool Photo: “Dark Knight: Rises” confirms it’s the last film, does Bane actually breaks the bat?

The first teaser poster we see Gotham City looks like it is crumbling and falling apart. In this poster, we see Bane with his back facing you and part of Batman’s mask laying on the ground.

Do the badguys win? That’s what it seems like. That’s what the posters are trying to tell you. Does Bane kill Batman?

I don’t think so, maybe Batman’s identity will get exposed, but that’s about it. If that is how they are going to end the trilogy by killing Batman, that would be a really good closure, but I don’t think they’ll really end it that way. There’s got to be a good reason why they call it, “The Dark Knight: Rises”, we’ll find out when we see the film next year.

I’m certainly looking forward to seeing it. Batman is my favorite superhero, always have been. I hope this movie will be even more action packed than the last one, I’m sure it will be.

I love how Christopher Nolan keeps quiet about everything with his movies and keeps them mysterious. He doesn’t like to give out secrets and wants people to wait to see the film itself.

Report: Warner Bros. announced no more Harry Potter DVD/Blu Rays after Dec. 29th…

Warner Bros. just released a shocking press release saying that they will pull all Harry Potter films off the shelves and will no longer release future projects. Yes, that even includes, “The Deathly Hollows part 2”. They will do this starting, Dec. 29th. Warner Bros. refuses to explain why in their press release.

Read it here, at Deadline.

These Harry Potter films made billions of dollars over the years and they helped make J.K. Rowling become one of the richest women in the world because of them. Now they are trashing DVD/Blu Ray releases of Harry Potter?

How are fans are going to watch Harry Potter after, Dec. 29th?

I’m a Harry Potter fan myself, loved the books and the movies. Did Warner Bros. make a deal with Netflix to make the Harry Potter films streamable?
