“Back to the Future” cast…where are they now???

Since the movie industry is celebrating, the great “Back to the Future” trilogy by releasing the series to Blu Ray and doing a re-release in the UK, I thought it would be fun to show you what the cast of “Back to the Future” is up to now. Since they are doing no more BTTF films, you wonder if the cast is still acting or if any of them retired and moved on.

Here we go:

  • Michael J. Fox – I’m sure everybody knows what he is up to these days. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease which forced him to retire from acting, but not for good. He is still acting occasionally. He appeared in the sitcom “Scrubs” for a few episodes and he appears on TV often. Ever since he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, he started the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Michael will make a full time TV return to star in the TV series, “The Good Wife”. Michael J. Fox also enjoys playing professional golf when he is not acting.
  • Christopher Lloyd – He is still acting for TV spots, appearing in films and doing voice overs for animated films. You can see him in the new “Piranha 3D” movie which he plays the role of, Mr. Goodman.
  • Crispin Glover – He was the role of George McFly in BTTF. Crispin is still acting in film to this day. His most recent roles were Stayne in “Alice in Wonderland” and he also stars in the comedy, “Hot Tub Time Machine”.
  • Lea Thompson – She is Marty’s mother in the BTTF series. I believe she still acting in film as well. Her latest work, she starred in the UK straight to DVD release family film, “Adventures of a Teenage Dragonslayer”.
  • Thomas Wilson – Tom is Biff, the villain/bully of the BTTF franchise. I believe he retired from acting. He became a standup comedian and musician. Visit his official youtube channel.
  • Claudia Wells – She plays Marty’s girlfriend in the first one. She is no longer acting as she has retired. She now owns a men’s fashion business, here she is here.
  • Marc McClure – He played Marty’s brother, Dave, in the series. He was also Jimmy Olsen in the Superman movies. Marc I believed, retired from acting. His last movie role was “Frost/Nixon” in 2008.
  • Wendi Jo Sperber – Wendi was Marty’s sister, Linda, in the series. Sorry to say, but Wendi Jo Sperber passed away on Nov. 29th, 2005.
  • James Tolkan – He is that bald headed principal who was always mean. Looking up his filmography, I believe he is retired. I’m sure you remember this guy from his other well known roles such as “Masters of the Universe” and “Top Gun”.
  • Elisabeth Shue – She played Jennifer Parker in “Back to the Future II”. She is still acting as you can also see her in “Piranha 3D” starring with Jerry O’ Connell.

I need to drop a little more bodyfat to get the six pack…

I do have a visible 4 pack abs, but if I want to get the full six pack washboard, I still have a little bit of lower belly flab that needs to get rid of. I’ll admit that. If you get a 4 pack and not a full 6 pack, you’re doing really good and you’re on your way to getting the flat washboard. The only way to do that is do more cardio and get more strict on meals. Like I’m going to have to cut down on ice cream as a late night snack and eat only fruits. Getting a visible washboard belly is not as difficult as everyone else thinks. It’s actually an easy thing to do. It also doesn’t take that long to get a six pack. If you do it right, I read it can take about a few weeks to get a six pack if you’re good in bodyfat. An overweight person will obviously take a long time to get the six pack, but for someone who is not obese will only take a short period of time. I can get the six pack and will prove the world that I can get that goal.

Report: Angelina Jolie to star in “Bosnian” war love story…

Well, it looks like Angelina Jolie has finally decided, it’s time to stop doing popcorn action flicks for a while and go back to doing serious drama films again. She will star in a film about a couple who meets up before the Bosnian war breaks out in ’92.

To be honest, while Angie is one of my favorite actresses, I like her more in drama films than action. When she does drama, that’s when she shows her acting talent. So I’m looking forward to this one.

I wonder if she’ll be naked in this one too. Since it’s a love story, she’s done plenty of romance films in the past where she was fully naked in films like, “Gia”, “Original Sin” and a few others. Showed her boobs and everything.

We’ll wait and see if she’ll agree to go nude again for this war film she’s planning. Lets hope Brad doesn’t star in it with her too and it won’t surprise me if that’s the idea, to get her and Brad to star in a movie together again.

Cool Video: Bill O’ Reilly finally makes some sense for once in his life…

Bill O’ Reilly is creating controversy in the news again. Why? Because he slammed the Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber pairing that’s been happening online and in news media lately. Justin and Kimmy K. recently did a photoshoot together for “Elle” magazine. In the photos , showed Justin and Kim acting like couples. Holding hands, eating the flower, etc. Justin is 16, and Kim is overage. Billy boy here, is right on the money for once and making some sense. Seriously, this whole Kimmy K and Justin Bieber thing is getting annoying. This is getting disgusting and the Kimmy K. and Justin pairing needs to be stopped. Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with Kim Kardashian as I am a fan of her modeling career and have no problem with Justin Bieber, but when you pair these two together, it’s just wrong. Elle magazine just wants publicity with their magazine too so they create controversy to get more attention. I understand that Kim and Justin are just friends, but Justin doesn’t seem to realize that she is using him for more publicity as well. Maybe she doesn’t care about him at all and just manipulating the kid to promote her career?

Congratulations Sly!!!

Well, “The Expendables” is still the no. 1 movie in the box office. Whether you think the movie is good or bad, you gotta be happy for Sly that he finally has a hit movie after all these years. We can now celebrate with Sly, by getting a glass of champagne and giving him a “cheers” with the song “Gonna Fly Now” playing along.

Sly worked so hard to get where he is today. Love him or hate him, you gotta give him credit and respect. Most everything he did in the past were failures but he finally does something very successful! Congrats Sly!

It’s been quite the weekend for the Brock…

The blog’s been slow this weekend ’cause I had a death in the family earlier this week. I won’t reveal who passed on publicly but it is somebody close to my family. I attended the funeral over the weekend and was selected as one of the pallbearer’s to help carry the casket. Not too worry, though, I’m all good and cool. I am sad over this person’s passing of course, ’cause I try to stay positive and strong. Saw all kinds of family and friends over the weekend, so that made the weekend a little better.

That’s why this blog has been slow this weekend, been busy with my personal life off the computer.

I will say this though that most everyone I talked to over the weekend  commented on my fitness physique. Most everyone says I’m looking really good and fit. Someone over the weekend asked me to flex my arms, I at first refused to do it ’cause I am a little shy to show off my muscles in public, I guess, but they talked me into it. When I finally did flex my arms and my biceps the whole crowd at the family party after the funeral, all eyes were on me with a shocked look on their face. True story, believe me. I wish I’d caught that on video. I did not go shirt less ’cause no one asked me to yet.

The thing with body building and fitness, you can’t even tell your own strength and can’t tell if you look good or not. When you get so many people commenting on your physique in a positive way, then you’ll know you’re going somewhere.

I’ve been doing more cardio over the week too, did more jogging and jump roping, hoping to lose a little more bodyfat, to drop down a couple. I want to measure my own bodyfat, my own way with just a tape measure. I don’t trust those computerized callipers at the gym.

I will catch up with the blog more tonight and the rest of the week.

Report: Neil Young announces new studio album titled, “Le Noise” via Facebook…

The Canadian rock legend, Neil Young, announced he will be releasing a new studio album with new originals titled, “Le Noise”, and it will be hitting the shelves on Sept 28th. The style of music on it is being kept underwraps for now, but from the sound of the album title, get the hint with the word, “noise”, sounds like he’s going for another hard rock electric guitar record. He’s always been well known to switch back and forth to acoustic to hard rock.

This will be the follow up from Neil Young’s last studio album, “Fork in the Road” released last year in 2009.

I’ll definitely be getting this ’cause I love Neil Young. I’m such a huge fan of him and look forward to anything that he comes out with, no matter what genre of music he does next. His songwriting and music is just amazing to me. I love how Neil is still going with music. I don’t think he’ll ever retire. This guy will play music ’til the day he dies.

Thought: Maybe James Toney does have what it takes to knock out Randy Couture after all???

When I talk about UFC 118 with other fans, and I ask them, “Who do you think is going to win, James Toney or Randy Couture”? Most answers, were surprisingly James Toney. I’m like what? When I ask them why James Toney, they defend him by saying James Toney is a brutal puncher. He punches really hard, so hard that it will make you feel like you got hit by a truck. Everyone says his punching skills is too powerful.

Maybe James does know more fighting skills than boxing. Maybe he has some martial arts experience under his belt. Never know. He could probably punch Randy out real quick in one round. He is probably training some mixed martial arts moves and skills.

What Randy would have to do to win this fight, he would have to avoid Toney’s punches. If Randy messes up once, and Toney swings at him, it’s done. I’m not much of a boxing fan so I don’t know much about Toney. This will be an interesting fight and an unpredictable one, you just never know who will win this one.

Toney may know boxing only, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to suck in UFC. James Toney is one of the world’s dangerous fighters. I’m certainly am looking forward to this fight.

Thought: Why Steven Tyler would make a horrible judge at American Idol…

Yes, Steven Tyler has years of experience with music but that doesn’t mean he’s going to be a good American Idol judge. Why would he suck at being the judge?

Here are some reasons why:

  • He would give positive feedback to any Idol singer that sings an Aerosmith song whether he/she sings it good or bad. If A.I. does an Aerosmith night, Steven would go crazy.
  • If male singers has a rock n’ roll image or if they sing rock, Steven would be all over that as well.
  • Since Steven loves blues music, singers would try to sing the blues just to impress him.
  • Singers would try to steal Steven Tyler’s image: The long hair, fat lips, fashion, etc.
  • He wouldn’t understand today’s mainstream of music. If you knew Steven’s history with music, he was always about old school.  He always listened to really old rock and old blues. I don’t think he would give honest feedback if a singer sang a song by Britney Spears or Katy Perry.
  • Steven’s ego would hurt the other judges and singers.
  • I don’t see him being a mean judge, I see him being a friendly one.
  • If you watch Steven’s interviews on TV and the internet, you can see that he comes up with crazy answers ’cause he likes the attention with the media.
  • He would be smiling and laughing like he always does.
  • I can see him going on and on and on about him comparing other singers voices to his own singing voice.

There you go. We’ll see how long he lasts on the show.
