Thought: “Wall-E” is amazing but not worthy enough for “Best Picture” for the Oscars…

I finally saw, “Wall-E” last night and here is just a brief review. I loved it, I thought it was wonderful, great and entertaining, but I don’t find it worthy enough for a “Best Picture” win at the Oscars. It does deserve the nomination for “Best Picture”, yes, but definitely not winning the whole thing. The reason that “Wall-E” would be qualified to get “BEST PICTURE” nomination is because the film is both live action and animation put together in one film.

I really liked the story to “Wall-E”, it’s a love story where Wall-E falls in love with another female robot named Eve. A science fiction, action adventure story. What I love the most about “Wall-E” is the animation and the CGI graphics of the film. It’s indeed, Pixar’s best film. I liked the film a lot. It is a great film for all to see.

BREAKING NEWS: “Marley and Me” breaks no. 1 in the box office on Christmas day…

Out of the 5 films: “Marley and Me”, “Bedtime Stories”, “Benjamin Button”, “The Spirit” and “Valkyrie”, which were released on Christmas day yesterday, “Marley and Me” is the no. 1 movie on Christmas day of 2008. “Marley and Me” which stars Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston, made a whopping 14.8 million.

“Marley and Me”, is a film about a young couple who moves to Florida after Owen Wilson’s character graduates from college, the couple adopts a dog named Marley. Marley is a hyper active and friendly dog that is part of a family, the movie is adapted from the novel by John Grogan.

Adam Sandler’s “Bedtime Stories” which is a Disney film didn’t do so well, it only made $10.5 million on Christmas day but should pick up over the weekend, when parents starts taking their kids to the movies after Christmas. “Benjamin Button” which stars Brad Pitt, only made $11.8 million, but is also expected to move up over the weekend.

The Tom Cruise and Bryan Singer WW II Nazi flick “Valkyrie” only made $8.5 million, which is understandable why it didn’t make much on a Christmas day since it’s a Nazi flick and it’s a pretty controversial film. I haven’t seen “Valkyrie” yet, but plan on seeing it this weekend, definitely.

“The Spirit” is a bomber, it only made 4 million, ouch!!! I’m still going to see “Valkyrie” and the movie looks interesting, just because movies don’t do well in the theater’s box office, doesn’t mean it sucks. I’ve seen plenty of great movies that bombed. And on top of that, most successful movies are not good anyways.

Report: Rob Zombie reveals why he went back to Halloween sequel after turning it down in the past…

Rob Zombie and his brother, Spider, who is the frontman for Powerman 5000, speaks on the Pulse of Radio with Rob revealing to the public as to why he returned to directing Halloween, after repeatingly turning it down in the past.

After Rob did the first one, he admitted that he had no desire to do it again, that he was burnt out and tired, he thought the work on the first movie was stressful and difficult. Then he says, as time went by, he grew excitement and had a passion for Halloween again that made him want to return. He says he came up with a great idea for a story and its characters, that he couldn’t pass this up.

Rob Zombie already signed Tyler Mane to return as the legendary killer. Zombie is in talks of signing Scout Taylor-Compton to return as Laurie Strode and Malcolm MacDowell to return as Dr. Loomis.

“H2” is scheduled to begin filming in March.

More on it here:

Those who keep slamming Rob Zombie for turning it down in the past and wanting to do it again, you have to keep in mind that Zombie is a writer. When a writer comes up with a story idea and it hits them, it makes them want to get it off their chest. Well, Rob came up with a story idea for the sequel that he wants to get off his chest. You have a vision in your head, your own movie in your head, and you think to yourself, “How do I get my story to the world?”

It happens to all writers. Writers can’t help themselves. When they say they’re going to stop, they have no choice but to keep writing because of one word, “inspiration”. “Inspiration” hit Rob again that drove him to want to helm Halloween again.

The same goes for Christopher Nolan doing a third Batman movie or Lucas/Spielberg doing a 5th Indy movie. You can’t just expect these guys to do another sequel this quick. You have to give them time for inspiration to hit them with a good story idea, then they’ll do it. Chris Nolan said a hundred times that he may or may not do a third Batman movie, depending on a good story. The same goes for Lucas with Indy 5, he said a hundred times that he isn’t sure if he should go on without Shia and Karen Allen, depending on a good Indy story.

Writing and creating something is like an addictive drug. You say you’re going to stop but for some reason you can’t. I’m getting back into story fiction writing soon because I’ve been inspired to get back into it.

I’m sure Rob won’t dissapoint the Halloween sequel ’cause he is a creative guy when it comes to the horror genre. He’ll probably make the sequel better than the first.

Cool Video: Stewart Brodian’s “A Little Change”…

There is this cool dude named Stewart Brodian in youtube, who made this awesome video. This guy is mostly known as a Howard Stern impersonator. He’s not only that, he is also: an actor, a stand up comedian, a musician singer/songwriter guy, he plays both guitar and piano, and I believe he is also a radio DJ. Yep, the dude is multi-talented.

Of course, I heard about this Stewart Brodian guy through Rayford’s “Unreal Variety Show”, but honestly, I am finding Stewart Brodian to be way more talented than Rayford. Although I never met Stewart Brodian in my life, he does seem like a very nice guy and down to earth. I mean, Stewart doesn’t have an ego problem, he shows passion in what he does, I have never once seen this man being negative and hateful to anyone

I would say that Stewart Brodian is the true superstar. Want to learn more about him? Google him and type up his name in youtube for more of his videos.

Enjoy his music video to his song “A Little Change”, a great tune and a great video. Keep up the great work, Stewart.

BREAKING NEWS: Fox wins feud against Warner Bros. over “Watchmen”, judge discovers Fox owns the copyrights…

I’m usually never shocked and surprised by any news stories, but yes, I’m very shocked with this story. After a Christmas morning of unwrapping my gifts with family, I turn on the computer and the sad news that Twentieth Century Fox has proven once again they own the distribution rights to the “Watchmen” movie.

While the trial was pushed back to Jan. 20th, Judge Gary Allen Fees did some more investigation and that’s when he discovered that Fox owns “Watchmen”. The judge will give out a more detailed ruling of the film soon.

Warner Bros. never backed down, they continue to make and to release the film. The film was originally supposed to be released March 6th, but now it looks like Fox is going to win this battle, we may not even see the film get released at all.

Variety Reports:

Yep, I hate officially hate Twentieth Century Fox. Fox owns the copyrights to the movie, true, they have every right to do what they want, but it’s clear Fox could give a rats ass about Watchmen fans looking forward to the movie.

That’s what happens when your ego get so high up in your head, Fox are a bunch of shady and greedy morons anyway. It’s no surprise, ’cause Twentieth Century Fox is owned by News Corp. Rupert Murdoch is a greedy rich man and it would not surprise me if he had something to do with hiring Fox to battle “Watchmen” from Warner Bros. Rupert and News Corp are all douchebags. I’m dissapointed by this news.
