Thoughts and prayers go out to DMX… Hope There’s a miracle and hope he pulls through…

Earl Simmons aka DMX may have had a lot of problems and personal issues in his life and music career but we’re all human and we’ve all made mistakes whether you want to admit it or not. Yeah, DMX has been arrested a number of times and did some pretty bad stuff but that’s because of his drug problems over the years, ya know? I’m not gonna hate on the guy and disrespect him, no hate here at all. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family & friends.

Even though things aren’t looking good with Earl, I’ve always believed in miracles and hoping for a miracle and hoping he pulls through. It seems like he’s a fighter alright ’cause even though things aren’t good with him, he’s still trying to hang on.

He’s a human being as we all are and all this shows is that life is fragile, it really is.

DMX music isn’t my cup of tea but got nothing but love and respect for the guy. Praying for him.

Will be watching a whole week of wrestling this week, just noticed that…

Hmmmm, well today I’m gonna catch up with last week’s Smackdown, NXT and NXT UK. Tomorrow night will be WWE RAW, Tuesday Night will be the WWE Hall of Fame show, Wed/Thursday will be the NXT ppv “Stand and Deliver” which is a two night ppv, Friday night will be Smackdown and on Saturday/Sunday will be two nights of “Wrestlemania”. Yup, that’s a whole week of wrestling for sure.

Usually there’s a lot of wrestling to watch to watch on Wrestlemania week, usually happens every year ’cause that’s the WWE’s way of building up hype and to help promote Wrestlemania.

That’s a lot of wrestling to watch this week so I won’t be streaming any movies/TV shows this week.

I like to watch the WWE Hall of Fame live show every year before Wrestlemania ’cause it’s very powerful hearing the Hall of Famer’s speeches. The WWE will be officially inducting legends into the Hall of Fame for 2020 and 2021 ’cause there was no Hall of Fame show last year due to Covid. The Hall of Fame show is back for this Tuesday night which is gonna be on Peacock on Tuesday evening so can’t wait to watch that.

So happy that I signed up for Peacock ’cause just for the hell of it, I just looked on the WWE Network site and it got shut down today ’cause of the big move.

Not sure how to watch live TV on Peacock for WWE yet but I’ll figure it out ’cause I’m still new to this Peacock thing.

Wish Bookstores would stay out of politics…

I was at Barnes & Noble bookstore earlier today and I’m amazed to see that the store has leftist political books all over the shelves. Mostly you’ll see anti-Trump books all over… and mostly Barack Obama & Michelle books. There are pro-right wing books in big chain bookstores but you won’t find many. The funny thing is though, those right-wing books like Candace Owens, Sarah Sanders and Diamond & Silk sell pretty well while a lot of left-wing leaning books don’t sell for shit. I’m tired of walking in big chain bookstores and seeing Barack and Michelle books all over the fucking place, uggghhh…. please.

This is coming from someone who loves books and I love reading. I went into Barnes and Noble this morning to shop and look around to see if there were any cool books, graphic novels, blurays and music things like that. There wasn’t any books I wanted or no Blu Ray’s ’cause BluRay’s are kind of overpriced in B&N so I picked up a few vinyl albums instead.

I think big chain businesses need to stay out of politics altogether, all of them. It’s disgusting…. so tired of them all ramming left wing political views down our throats: Barack & Michelle, LGBTQ, Climate Change, Black Lives Matter, loving Islam, etc. I think you get my point. It all needs to stop.

People go to these places to shop and go and have fun. Why do politics have to be rammed down our throats everywhere we go? It’s fucking stupid and getting worse. Politics doesn’t have to be everything, ya know? Enjoy life and be happy, sometime. It’s not that bad!

More on Peacock streaming, not so bad actually…

So I took a look at Peacock Streaming earlier this afternoon and it’s not so bad actually. Some cool shows and movies on there other than the WWE stuff. Honestly, there’s not a lot on there for right now but it’s still pretty new and I’m sure they’ll add more streaming content in the future. There’s not a lot of WWE stuff on there yet but that’s because they’ll make the full move later this month, only some WWE stuff are on there for now.

Once again, I only got it for wrestling but I’ll watch some of the other stuff on it like I wanna check out the John Wayne Gacy serial killer documentary that’s on there so that’s gotta be interesting.

The Peacock app isn’t available on my Samsung Smart TV so I’m gonna have to watch it on my PS4 instead or I could watch it on my computer either way.

I’m not sure how you can watch WWE Live yet their 24/7 live TV thing but I’m sure we’ll learn about that soon. “Wrestlemania” is on for two nights next weekend. So all next weekend, I’ll be watching nothing but WWE stuff since “Wrestlemania” weekend is quickly approaching. It’s always fun when Wrestlemania season comes around.

Went to Barnes & Noble earlier today and walked out with these three vinyls… look at the post above to see what I got.

I’ve always been a huge Queen fan. Never got any of their studio albums so I figure I would start getting into them. I do have a greatest hits album by Queen but that’s about it…

I already have the Judas Priest and Allman Brothers albums on digital but I wanted the vinyl versions for the better sound.

I’m gonna give these a listen this weekend.

I’m now on Peacock streaming so I can continue to watch WWE…

Well I just subscribed to the new NBC streaming service they just launched called “Peacock”…. ya know, initially I wasn’t gonna get it… I never wanted it until then I found out that the WWE is gonna shut down their standalone streaming service, WWE Network and it’s moving to Peacock permanently. I had to sign up for Peacock if I want to continue to watch “Wrestlemania” every year and other WWE ppvs. If I want to continue watching NXT, WCW, ECW and other wrestling content on there, I had to sign up for Peacock ’cause I gotta have pro wrestling in my life. Y’all know by now I’m a big pro wrestling nerd so I gotta continue to keep watching my wrestling.

Anyway, maybe Peacock is worth it ’cause they have tons of other cool TV shows and movies on there as well. I subscribe to more than one streaming service ’cause I got rid of my cable box and online streaming is cheaper and it’s the way to go nowadays.

Now I can start watching the hit show “Yellowstone” which stars Kevin Costner… I’ve heard great things about that show and people’s been talking to me about it so I can now start that show anytime. Probably next week, maybe. Yeah, I’m kind of a TV junkie admittedly but I only watch TV at night and not during the day.

I had to sign up for Peacock for WWE Network alone. I hate and despise NBC so much so I hated to get it but man, I had to get it for wrestling, ya know? Had no choice.

I’m new to this Peacock thing so I’ll have give it a look later and start adding stuff to my watchlist. Now I’ll get to watch “Law & Order: SVU” ’cause Stabler is back which is exciting. I used to watch “SVU” all the time, though but stopped after Stabler left. Christopher Meloni rules! Great actor!

Sly Stallone hints at Rocky Prequel series for online streaming… Cool Idea, really…

Sly Stallone just hinted on instagram that he maybe working on a “Rocky” prequel series for online streaming. It’s a pretty cool idea really and I really think it could happen. The online streaming giants would be interested in it for sure. It’s not yet known whether it will go to Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime yet but we’ll find out soon enough if it gets the greenlight that is.

I think the prequel “Rocky” series will go to Netflix possibly ’cause after the success of the show “Cobra Kai”, the “Rocky” prequel series could be just as big.

If you know Sly Stallone on how he wrote his scripts and his ideas, he always wrote them down on notebook paper. If you can read his handwriting. Sly hints that the Rocky prequel series would be around in the 60’s, around the time all those historical things were happening that Sly listed above.

Doing a little research, Rocky Balboa was 30 years old in the first Rocky movie and it was 1976 in that film… the same year the movie was filmed in. So since the prequel TV series would be taking place in the 60’s, Rocky would be in his 20’s. So they would need a young actor in his 20’s to play a young Rocky. Good luck to them on trying to find an actor to match Sly’s look and I’m sure they will find someone with no problem.

Sly’s goal with the series that he wants the show to get into more detail of all the characters that includes Adrian, Paulie, Mickey, Apollo Creed, Spider Rico, etc. All of them. So younger actors would have to play those characters too.

Will we get to see how Rocky first met Paulie? Ya know, Paulie who is Rocky’s alcoholic friend? I’m sure we’ll get to see more of Adrian’s life and especially Apollo Creed of how he got into boxing and all would be cool. We’ll get some more insight of how Rocky got into the loan shark business with Gazzo ’cause remember, Rocky was already into that before the first movie. We’ll see how Rocky first met Mickey and how he first got into Mickey’s gym ’cause we’ve never seen any of that yet. We could get more insight on the “Duke” Evers character too. There’s so many details we haven’t seen from the first Rocky. The prequel could be pretty useful, actually. I’m all for it.

The prequel series won’t go to Paramount+ or Disney+ since Rocky is owned by MGM… so Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime is probably your best bet. I prefer it go to Netflix so everyone can see it. The ratings for “Cobra Kai” is huge at Netflix so I think the Rocky prequel show will get a huge audience.

I’m totally all for it.

Cobra Kai is a pretty great show, now Can’t wait for season 4!

So I got around to finishing “Cobra Kai – Season 3” this week. It’s a pretty great show surprisingly. I’m loving all of it so far. While this is a sequel to the Karate Kid series, it’s also a prequel at the same time. I know it’s weird but in a lot of that show it shows how some characters were in the past. I loved how it shows more about Johnny Lawrence’s childhood and teenage years.

While it’s an awesome show, “Season 3” was the best season. I was impressed that Daniel Laruso went back to Okinawa in that season to reminisce the past and revisit the good old days. I just loved how Daniel reunites with Kumiko and the villain Chozen from Karate II, that was awesome and I was also more interested in how the season showed more of John Kreese’s past. It was interesting that they showed us what Kreese’s U.S. Army days were like.

While this show is a reunion of some sorts, all the characters coming back from the original films played by the same actors, will the cast from Karate Kid III and “The Next Karate Kid” return?

There’s a huge debate online on whether or not Thomas Ian Griffith will return as Terry Silver and Sean Kanan will return as Mike Barnes, the villains from “Karate Kid III”. Also Robyn Lively who played Daniel’s love interest, Jessica should return in the future too. Also will Hillary Swank who played the girl in “The Next Karate Kid” make an appearance in “Cobra Kai”??? We’ll have to wait I guess.

While most of the original Cobra Kai reunited, there’s one guy who didn’t appear yet… Chad McQueen who played Dutch in the first “Karate Kid” film. Ya know that one Cobra Kai guy with the white curly hair, yeah, that guy. Instead, they put Dutch in prison for the show. I read somewhere that they tried to ask Chad McQueen to reprise his role as Dutch but he turned it down ’cause he hasn’t been acting for over 30 years? Who knows, maybe they’ll still put him on one day. We’ll have to see but it would be cool. I’m glad Rob Garrison made appearance on the show before he passed, that was awesome.

The show is getting real good and I think Ralph Macchio has gotten way better with his acting too. William Zabka is great too, though… they’re all great but I wanna say something about Martin Kove, though, he’s still killing it as John Kreese after all these years. Kreese has always been my favorite character.

Great show so far and looking forward to more in Season 4!

Is it getting less and less fun vlogging for the internet? Damn Record labels, they always want to ruin the fun for everyone!

First music lovers were getting sued left and right for illegal downloading, file sharing and all that stuff… and now the legal bullshit doesn’t stop there.

Youtubers, FB vloggers and things like that want to post their video blogs. Ya know, they want to film themselves walking around out in public talking to the camera and stuff. People want to post that stuff for fun but these copyright pings keep hitting on people. Yeah it’s ’cause there’s a song playing in the background that is owned by a record label and it’s fucking bullshit if you ask me.

There’s nothing you can do about removing a song in the background but you get copyright pinged/flagged anyways. It’s not social media’s fault, it’s all the fucking evil record labels. You want to post a vlog of yourself walking around and you want to post your lifting videos at the gym but you get copyright pinged. Musicians want to cover songs by their favorite bands & artists but again, copyright pings affects them too sadly.

It’s all a shame. I stopped posting vlogs at youtube ’cause of the strict rules and now “advertisements” being played during videos. Vlogging used to be fun for everyone but not so much anymore. Many youtubers quit youtube for that reason ’cause we’ve had it with all this.

We just want to share cool and interesting content with the world but the major record labels just want to ruin everything for us. It’s frustrating that when you post a video and it gets pinged automatically ’cause of a copyrighted song on it. We’re all tired of it.

I love vlogging myself but as stated above, all the legal stuff ruining the fun for everything. Getting ridiculous for sure.

Nicolas Cage is a way better actor now than he was years ago… really, you should start watching his newer films…

I’ve been watching so many Nicolas Cage movies a lot lately. Not sure why, I guess I just like the guy’s acting style. He’s different than other actors out there. Yeah, Nic Cage used to be made fun of all the time ’cause of his “horrible” acting but is he horrible? Admittedly, in the old days Nic wasn’t that great, I’ll confess it but now that the guy doesn’t do big budget movies anymore, he’s a way better actor now. I think he improved as he got older.

Nic is now 57 years old and he has starred in over 100 movies over the years. Wow. That’s the one thing the haters will never admit. He’s one of the most prolific actors you’ll ever see. He’s a workhorse, no doubt. I read in an interview with him that the reason he works all the time, non stop ’cause if he’s not working and doesn’t have a job, “he’ll self destruct”. Meaning that he’ll go crazy if he’s not doing anything. That’s why he does one film after another. He’s done every genre too from comedy, serious dramas, thrillers, action movies and even horror.

He’s done so many great movies over the years but all those low budget B-movies he’s doing lately is really good stuff… movies like “Mandy”, “Mom and Dad”, “Colour Out of Space”, “Primal”, “The Trust”, “Dog Eat Dog”, “Grand Isle”, “Score to Settle”, “Running with the Devil”, “Joe”, etc.

I just watched his latest, “Jiu Jitsu” on Netflix in which he stars with Frank Grillo… an action sci-fi movie. Really cheesy flick but entertaining as hell.

Nic is killing it lately. If what Nic Cage movies to start off with when it comes to his newer stuff… you should check out “Mandy”, “Grande Isle” and maybe “Colour Out of Space” too. “Jiu Jitsu” is also recommended.

Will Nic ever take a long break from acting and retire one day? No. He’ll probably keep going until he can’t do it anymore.

Most celebrities and actors are awful people but there are a few good ones left and Nic is one of them. I have no problem with him.

People like to make fun of Nic and bash his acting a lot but I don’t understand why. Yeah, not all of his movies are that great…. he’s got some stinkers for sure but he can be really good in some of them like “Mandy”… that’s one of his best roles right there. He was also really good in “Leaving Las Vegas” in which he won an Oscar for. He’s not bad like so many people try to make him out to be. He’s gotten way better at picking films, though I’ll you that. I’m a huge fan of his.
