Norm Macdonald reveals the reason for lack of Eddie Murphy on “SNL 40″…

Fans of Eddie Murphy were upset that the legendary comedian/actor didn’t have much of an appearance on “SNL 40”. Everyone was hoping that Eddie would be involved in a big skit but instead he got a tiny cameo appearance during the Chevy Chase skit.

Norm Macdonald revealed some big secrets on his twitter page saying that Eddie was originally gonna be in a big comedy skit on “SNL 40”. Eddie was originally supposed to be in “Celebrity Jeopardy” and Eddie was originally supposed to play Bill Cosby as a way to make fun of all Cosby’s rape accusations.

Eddie said no. Eddie didn’t want to do it ’cause he didn’t want to disrespect another comedy legend so I take it that Eddie supports Bill Cosby and staying on his side? This is Eddie’s way of defending Bill Cosby? Looks like it. It’s no surprise that Eddie Murphy would do something like this ’cause Eddie has been a Cosby fan & supporter for many years. Listen to Eddie talk about Cosby “positively” during Eddie’s old “RAW” comedy show in the video below.

What Eddie did here was cool. He’s a class act.

Will Sigourney Weaver reprise her role as Ripley for Neil Blomkamp produced “Alien” film???

20th Century Fox has officially closed a deal with “District 9” and “Chappie” director Neill Blomkamp to develop the next “Alien” film. Blomkamp is not set to direct, he’s just the producer. Fox is still making the “Prometheus” sequel with Ridley Scott but it is not yet known if Scott will come back to direct the next “Alien” movie.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/18/new-alien-movie-confirm_n_6709748.html

It is not yet known whether or not Ripley will be in the next movie but Sigourney Weaver says she’s open to reprising her role that made her famous if Blomkamp will be directing it:

http://www.avclub.com/article/sigourney-weaver-open-making-neill-blomkamps-alien-215313

It is also not yet known if Blomkamp’s “Alien” movie will be a continuation from the earlier series or will it be another re-boot? I hope this isn’t another reboot and I’m hoping this will be an “Alien 5” continuing the story after “Alien: Resurrection”. We’ll have to wait and see.

I’m a huge fan of the Alien franchise. Love all 4 movies. I hope Sigourney reprises her role as Ripley ’cause I won’t see it if she doesn’t return.

I’ll always be a huge fan of the first two Alien flicks. 3 and 4 were good but 1 and 2 were the best.

Afroman apologizes but doesn’t apologize to the girl he punched…

This story is getting kind of crazy. Afroman may have apologized but he didn’t apologize to the girl that he punched on stage. No mention of her at all. He just apologized for “his actions”. I repeat, “HIS”. He didn’t apologize to that female fan or his fans all-around.

Then he goes on TMZ, tells his side of the story. He claimed he thought the person he punch was that guy but you know it’s a lie.

http://www.tmz.com/2015/02/18/afroman-punching-female-fan-video-blames-heckler-tmz-live/

Watch that punching video again, he saw her. He took a good look at her before he swung at her. He’s lying all the way. This video here clearly shows that he saw her, he turned his head around.

I understand how bands & artists don’t want the fans onstage but reacting violently especially when the person is female is not the way to go. Hitting women is never cool.

On top of that, I think Afroman might be a racist, listen to his song “Palmdale” below. Read the lyrics.

You wanna talk about “Black lives matter” well, white lives matter too and so does that girl of who he punched. I’m sure Afroman will get no harsh punishment, though. He’ll escape jail time and will just get something small like a “fine” or something. If he doesn’t get jail, though, there’s still no stopping of the girl suing him, though. She can do that if she wants and don’t be surprised that she does sue him sometime in the future.

I love this tweet about Obama, so damn true!!!

This is a great tweet that I just re-shared and I absolutely agree with it too.

His point being is that when Obama speaks he tries his best to sound “authoritative” meaning able to being trusted or being true and reliable. Obama talks in that tone as a way to sound believable. This is exactly why liberals are really slow at picking up Obama’s lies. They actually believe everything that he says. They believe what he says it’s true only because he’s “president”.

He does a terrible job on trying to sound authoritative, however. You can tell that Obama is lying every step of the way. To catch his lies, all it takes is a quick google search. Either that or if you watch his mouth, his lips moves all the time. A lot of times Obama would get caught “stuttering” when he speaks, that’s another way you can tell he’s lying. Like the video below is a good example of “stuttering”. When he “stutters” that means Obama is getting nervous. He’s having a hard time trying to answer the tough questions when he gets interviewed. He’s such a damn coward who can’t come up with an honest answer.

It’s amazing how some can’t pick up on his lies, though, that’s because some people are so naive and dumb.

Thoughts on Afroman punching a female fan in the face on stage…

This story has been making the rounds of the internet today so I would post my own thoughts on this. Afroman getting arrested during a concert at a small club in Biloxi, Mississippi for punching a female fan in the face on stage.

Sure enough, Afroman’s lawyers tried to play the innocent victim in all of this by blaming lack of security at the concert.

http://www.metalinjection.net/around-the-interwebs/afroman-arrested-after-punching-a-woman-for-interrupting-his-solo

Yeah, I know that idiots out there are gonna blame the girl and say a bunch of bullshit that she shouldn’t have went up there to invade his space and all that crap ’cause that’s how “cliques” work.

In my opinion, it’s never cool for musicians go violent on their own fanbase.

At concerts, the artists or the bands usually allow fans to dance up on stage with them. Happens all of the time at small clubs and large venues. All bands & artists are different, ya know what I mean? Some bands & artists are appreciative of their fans dancing on stage with them and some are not.

To the bands & artists who don’t allow fans to dance on stage with them, I think it’s because their egos are just so huge that they think they are way more important than the fans. It’s like them saying, “I’m so important, they don’t deserve to dance with me”. That kind of thing.

This girl at the Afroman concert was completely harmless. She wasn’t violent toward Afroman. She didn’t hit him or try to kill him or anything, she just wanted to have a good time and she wanted to show his love for him like what all fans do to treat their favorite artists.

After that incident, I’m sure she’s heartbroken now, though. She’s probably gonna throw his CD’s in the trash and never go to a concert of his ever again — in other words, she’s gonna boycott his music probably.

All bands & artists are different with their fanbase. Some bands & artists are great with their fanbase and some are lousy with them. Turns out that Afroman is horrible with his fanbase. His lawyers will never admit it ’cause that’s what lawyers are paid to do. They’re paid to make their clients look good.

What Afroman did here was inappropriate and wrong. Violence is never the answer.

Acoustica Mixcraft 7 is the DAW I’ll probably go for…

I was at Best Buy yesterday browsing around the store just for fun and to kill some time before the movie. I was looking at the PC software section to see what they have for DAW software for musicians and surprisingly enough, Best Buy DO have “Acoustic Mixcraft 6 & 7” the boxed editions sitting on the shelves. They have both Mixcraft 6 & 7 for $50.

Mixcraft 7 is brand new. Just got released this year so I think I’m definitely gonna get Mixcraft 7 soon and I’ll pick it up next time I go to Best Buy. Probably in a couple of weeks.

Mixcraft looks really good. Mixcraft makes all the other DAW’s out there looks bad. Mixcraft has everything a musician would want. It’s not just a recording program… it also has mixing and mastering which is what I need. It also has video editing so if I get this, I won’t need to get separate video software for the PC.

This software also allows you to make MIDI backing tracks whether you have a MIDI controller or not.

Mixcraft is pretty close to Apple’s Garageband but even better, in my opinion. So in a couple of weeks, next time I hit the mall, I’ll go to Best Buy and pick it up. I’m glad Best Buy has the Mixcraft software and I won’t have to download it from the website.

Mixcraft is getting very popular in the musicians community and I can’t wait to check it out myself.

I still didn’t get my studio speaker monitors yet. Amazon said they won’t be shipping more until Feb. 20 which is this Friday. So I’ll probably get the speakers either this week or next week. Probably next week. I think it’s a good idea to have studio speaker monitors so I can create a good sound with my music, ya know?

My new mini home recording studio is just about complete. I just need those studio monitors.

Film Review: 50 Shades of Grey…

Starring: Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan
Directed by: Sam Taylor Johnson

So I decided to have some balls and decided to check out, “50 Shades of Grey” after all. Here is my review…

Plot/Synopsis: Literature student Anastasia Steele’s life changes forever when she meets handsome, yet tormented, billionaire Christian Grey.

People on the internet have been shitting on this movie for a while now. Threatening Hollywood that they won’t see it ’cause of the casting and all kinds of crazy criticism. I once learned that you shouldn’t badly judge the movie even if you haven’t seen it so out of curiosity once again, I decided to check out the movie version for myself.

Despite all the negative criticism the movie got, I was pretty impressed with the movie. The movie was watchable and enjoyable. It was better than the book, in my opinion. Better written and the cast did a great job acting their roles. I thought Dakota Johnson was adorable and gorgeous. Yes, they did show her naked throughout most of the movie which is a good thing ’cause if they didn’t, the movie would have been pointless. Even Jamie Dornan was enjoyable in the Christian Grey role.

This isn’t no ordinary love story. It’s different and original, in my opinion. In the film they may have showed a little bit of BDSM and dominance stuff but the way I see it, this was just a small introduction of what’s about to happen in the next two sequels.

I thought the movie was pretty erotic and hot. The sex scenes were very well-done even though they could have been longer.

I think men shouldn’t be so scared to watch this movie ’cause you could learn a lot from it. The way I see it, this movie wasn’t just aimed at women. It’s also made to entertain the men too. You wanna be the magnetic alpha-male type that women will drool over? Well, you can learn how to do that from the Christian Grey character. Sure this movie is fictional but you can still learn how to be confident, strong and powerful around women. The Christian Grey character had all that.

I don’t understand all the hate toward this film. Sure people are going to accuse this film of being inaccurate with the dominant/submissive relationship but this is just an introduction. I’m sure the BDSM stuff will get even better in the next two films. After seeing this movie makes me want to read the next two books and I think I will.

Best of all, Danny Elfman the famous movie-composer did the score for this film and Danny Elfman is one of the best score composers of all time. How can you trash a movie with Danny Elfman scoring, ya know? His score for this film was genius too!

I thought this movie was very enjoyable and turned out great! I didn’t see anything wrong with it at all. People hated on this movie like mad and they went and saw it anyway. It’s breaking records in the box office as predicted.

Also, people are acting like “50 Shades” is the first movie in Hollywood that has a lot of sex. Not true. There are tons of movies out there that has a lot of sex in it. Where was all the hype when “Gia” with Angelina Jolie was released and what about “Showgirls” with Elizabeth Berkley? There’s also “Basic Instinct” with Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone. I can go on with this list. Sex in Hollywood movies have been going on for decades, people!!!

I’ll give “50 Shades of Grey” a score of 4 out of 5 as in “Great”. I really enjoyed it and looking forward to the sequels now! Give “50 Shades” a chance. It wasn’t all that bad!

Now I know why, “American Sniper” film never showed Chris Kyle’s death at gun range…

The “American Sniper” film never depicted Chris Kyle’s death scene for the film’s ending. I thought Eastwood intentionally left that part out of the movie out of respect for Chris’s family but it turns out they originally had that scene in the film after all. Eastwood had to take it out by Taya’s request.

http://www.contactmusic.com/clint-eastwood/news/american-sniper-ending_4588925

Sucks they had to take that scene out but understandable. Chris’s death scene would have made the film even more powerful and dramatic, in my opinion. Hopefully that scene will be available for the upcoming Blu Ray release.

Stephen King’s “A Good Marriage”… a movie worth checking out!!!

Over the weekend, I’ve watched Stephen King’s, “A Good Marriage” on Netflix streaming. I actually liked it a lot! I had to watch it twice over the weekend. The movie is based upon the short novella written by King himself and he also wrote the screenplay for the film version.

This story is about a woman who is married to a man for over 20 years and then she finds out his dark secret. He’s a serial killer!!! Yep, she married a guy and raised a family and after all this time never knew about his serial killer past.

I loved the story because this is something that could happen for real. It already did happen for real because Stephen admits he inspired this story from the real life Dennis Rader BTK case.

Some of you know that I enjoy serial killer fiction which inspired my, “Evil Fred” song.

“A Good Marriage” by Stephen King didn’t get a lot of positive reviews but I actually loved it. Surprisingly, the book and the movie were pretty much the same except the ending from both is slightly different.

“A Good Marriage” was surprisingly enjoyable. It seemed pretty realistic and this could happen to anybody. This story makes me never wanna get married ’cause you never know if your lover will have a dark past. HA, just kidding.

This movie is worth a look! Check it out!
