Could Temple of the Dog reunite at Bridge School Benefit???

I just noticed that Soundgarden and Pearl Jam are booked for Neil’s Bridge School Benefit. Does that mean there is a possibility that there is going to be a Temple of the Dog reunion? Remember Temple of the Dog was a super group that had just Chris Cornell singing with Pearl Jam members including, Eddie.

That would be kick ass if Temple of the Dog gave us a surprise performance… maybe for a few songs or they perform that untitled album in it’s entirety. It be cool to see Eddie and Chris sing, “Hunger Strike” together again and I’m sure they will.

Neil Young’s “Bridge School Benefit” still happening despite his divorce with Pegi…

Neil and Pegi Young have been running the “Bridge School Benefit” concerts together since 1986. They’ve been doing it a long time but despite their divorce, “Bridge School Benefit” is still going on this year. Neil announced some big surprises in the lineup: Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Florence and the Machine, Tom Jones, Nora Jones & Puss n Boots and others.

Oddly enough, Pegi’s band, Pegi Young and the Survivors is billed for a slot on the show too.

So even if Neil and Pegi are divorced, I take it that those two are still friends??? Maybe Neil isn’t even cheating on her at all and it was an amicable divorce, after all. Still, though, it’s pretty strange how Neil would dump Pegi for Daryl Hannah.

I thought Neil and Pegi would be a long lasting couple until they’re dead. Unfortunately not.

Anyway, I’m glad Neil Young and Pearl Jam are getting back together again.

U2’s new album, “Songs of Innocence” is actually a pretty great album, surprisingly!!!

There’s a lot of U2 hate going on but I don’t understand it. I stopped liking the band for a long while myself but I don’t “hate” them. I still respect U2 for their legacy and I still love their earlier music. Honestly, I think I stopped liking U2 after their, “All That You Can’t Leave Behind” album which was their best new album in the 2000’s years, in my opinion.

I listened to their new album, “Songs of Innocence” they just released for Itunes for FREE two times already. I’m very impressed with the album. It seems they got their old school sound back a little bit. I can hear a lot of 70’s and 80’s style that U2 used to have back in the day. There’s a lot of Ramones and the Clash influences on the album which is what the album is about. It’s a homage to those two legendary bands, I believe.

This is Bono’s best singing and the Edge’s guitar playing, WOW!!!! The whole band is pretty tight all the way through. I think the songwriting is very impressive on this album.

My two favorite tracks on the album are “Sleep Like A Baby Tonight” and “Raised By Wolves”. “Cedarwood Road” is a very good song too. The song “Sleep Like A Baby Tonight” kind reminds me of their classic song, “Bullet the Blue Sky” a little bit.

I was pretty impressed with the new U2 album so I’ll probably keep it. Sometime I’ll have to figure out how to get the album on my Ipod Touch. I’m sure there’s a way, i’ll figure it out.

I know a lot of people are upset that they have to get forced to have the album on your Apple gadgets but give the album a chance. Give it a listen and you might actually enjoy it yourself. I know a lot of people are pissed at Bono at this idea but I think it’s pretty cool! It’s a good marketing idea for your band and creative! Because of this, I’m sure U2’s new album, “Songs of Innocence” will be a no. 1 album on the Billboard Charts.

If you have an Iphone or an Ipad or whatever, you should give the album a listen. I think U2 just won my respect back.

Has Neil Young been cheating on Pegi???? It seems so…

It doesn’t surprise me that Neil Young could be having an affair with actress Daryl Hannah ’cause they worked on some projects together in the past before like their protests against the Keystone Pipeline for example. It’s looking like he filed divorced papers on Pegi so he can marry Daryl sometime in the future. Turns out he likes Daryl more than Pegi. It’s a shame that Neil would do this to Pegi after a 36 year long marriage.

While I think Neil Young is a talented guitar player and songwriter, I do think he’s an asshole, though. This could put a huge damage to his career.

Cheating is dumb. When you’re not happy with your wife or girlfriend, you be a man and let her know about it… then you split with her.

I’ll never cheat on a woman if I ever start dating.

Local musicians… why you should never trust them… only believe in yourself…

Musicians are crazy animals. They really are. They are egotistical. Arrogant. Self centered. A lot of them can be delusional and they live in their own different worlds. I know how musicians are ’cause I’ve been a part of the local music scene for 10 years or more. I’ve seen how they are online (social networking and local music forums) and I’ve seen how they are in person at the gigs.

A lot of musicians make the mistake that they need to meet as many musicians as possible. Form their own community or their own group of friends. I disagree. If that’s what they’re all about… forming a large community of musician friends or networking with other musicians, then they are doing music for the wrong reasons, IMO. To me what music is about is making it and sharing it for people. You don’t want musicians as your fanbase ’cause musicians don’t count as fans, in my opinion. You want to attract people to your music who are non-musicians. You want to focus on your own thing. Not worry about what this guy is doing and what that guy is doing.

When I started out in the scene, I used to agree with being a part of the music community and networking with other musicians but I’m not about that anymore. Now I think that being part of a musicians community was a mistake.

When you want to put yourself out there, be ready for a lot of spiteful criticism, hate, bullying and harassment from other musicians. I’ve been dealing with this garbage for years. I just learn to ignore this stuff and take the spiteful criticism as a compliment. Musicians seem to treat you how they want to ’cause they believe that their successes and achievements gives them that right. Don’t let this stuff get to you.

The funny thing is, when musicians claims they are busy, have so much successes and accomplishments… they still seem to get into a lot of online drama and bullying with you. Ya know, when musicians claims they are busy and successful… don’t buy into it when they wasted all that time fighting with you online. Think about it… if they were really “busy” and “successful” as they claim, they wouldn’t take all their effort to write that stuff to you. If a band or an artist was really “busy” and “successful” they wouldn’t have all that time for online drama. They would be out there doing their thing… making their music, playing their gigs and all that stuff. The real successful bands don’t have time for online bullshit.

So next time you get into an argument or an online war with a musician and when they make claims like, “I’m a busy musician who plays a lot of gigs in front of a lot of people”… don’t buy into their bullshit lies. They’re just trying to make themselves look better than you and putting you below them. That’s all they’re doing. They’re just trying to make you feel jealous of them.

They claim that they are successful and big but when they obsess with picking fights with you online, then they probably aren’t. They are just a star in their own mind. There are too many idiots around here calling themselves musicians and “established” acts.

The last thing a band wants to do is say stuff that they are big and successful. You want the people to tell you that.

Don’t trust other musicians ’cause why? It’s because you’d never know how they really feel about you. Too much backstabbing and drama going on.

Only believe in yourself and your own music. Who cares what everybody thinks about you. Just continue to do your thing musically by making your music and sharing it with other people. That’s probably why musicians go off on hating you ’cause they know your passion for music and they know you love sharing it with people. Don’t feel bad if other musicians don’t like you ’cause it’s actually a good thing! It’s letting you know that you’re a good musician and they don’t like it.

I’m just trying to tell you guys not to trust and believe in Obama… THAT IS ALL!!!!

After all these years of me calling out all of Obama’s bullshit… everybody wants to try and debunk everything no matter the situation. Everyone wants to disagree with everything that criticizes Obama. You see my goal of what I’m doing with my Obama discussions and rants is that all I’ve been doing is trying to get people not to believe everything this man says and not be quick into trusting him.

This guy is obsessed with lying, that’s Obama. He is not to be trusted either. You guys want to believe that most of the stuff reported about Obama through right-wing news is all make believe tabloids or comedy/satire stuff or “conspiracy theory” or whatever you wanna call it. Well, what’s strange is that you can’t seem to understand that this administration is all tabloids and satire stuff.

Every time Obama opens his mouth is a lie. Everything about his life is pretty likely untrue. We don’t know much about him at all, he is not transparent… yet there are some people that have no problem with him and find him completely harmless.

I don’t care to watch Obama speeches, press conferences or public statements anymore ’cause chances are all he’s gonna do is spew out a bunch of bullshit like usual. His recent statement on Isis yesterday was bullshit.

You don’t wanna believe that it’s difficult to defeat Isis when you know it’s all bullshit. It’s not rocket science to defeat Isis. To me, they look pretty easy to get rid of. Obama is just trying to make himself look like a hero over Isis. Obama is an egotistical prick. He doesn’t want war with Isis ’cause he knows it’s gonna ruin his plan into turning the US into a Muslim country which is his goal. He claims that Isis isn’t Islamic but once again you don’t wanna be quick into believing in his lies. He’s trying to get us to believing that Muslims aren’t violent and evil. Trying to fool us that Islam is a peaceful religion.

He’s lied about so much shit over the years: Benghazi, Operation F&F, Obamacare, etc. The usual list.

You see the thing is all the Obama criticizers want to think they’re right and all the Obama defenders want to think they’re right about what they say about him. With Obama’s obsessive lying and non-trusting behavior, you just never know who’s right and who’s wrong ’cause as of this point there’s no proof on who’s right either way. That’s the way it is with Obama. For example I could be wrong that Obama was born from Kenya and you could be wrong that he was born in the USA. I could be wrong that Obama knew that Benghazi was a terrorist attack and wasn’t blamed on some video and you could be wrong that Benghazi was blamed on a video. I could be wrong that Obama was behind “Operation F&F” and you could be wrong that he wasn’t.

I think you get the idea of what I’m trying to get at, I hope.

Both of us could be wrong on everything we’re saying about him. I don’t care whether or not I’m wrong about Obama being born in Kenya or him being behind Benghazi or Operation F&F.

My only mission with my Obama posts is that I’m trying to get people not to trust him. I’ve been doing exactly that in every Obama post I’ve made from day 1.

You can’t be quick in believing what this administration puts out there. You can’t believe what liberal media puts out there too yes I’m talking about NBC, CNN, CBS, etc.

When Obama announced yesterday, he claims to be taking action on Isis, sure enough… I see liberals in facebook going nuts about it… they’re like… “Oh yes, finally Obama is doing something about Isis, he’s my freakin’ hero….”. You get the deal, here.

You see airstrikes and sending a small amount of military isn’t a good strategy. It is weak. If there was a Republican president in the White House, he would’ve consulted with Congress to get all an out war going with Isis. That’s what we need. War. We need a lot of military to take down Isis. Isis is not all that dangerous as they look like I said once before.

Our country is in serious danger. It’s not because of Isis. It’s not because of Al-qaeda and Muslims. It’s not because illegal aliens entering our country through Mexico. Our country is in serious danger simply because Obama is in the White House. I don’t feel safe at all with Obama in the oval office. He needs to go. Get rid of Obama, then we’ll feel safer.

Katey Sagal finally gets her star on the Hollywood – Walk of Fame… CONGRATS!!!

Finally, “Married With Children” and “Sons of Anarchy” star Katey Sagal finally gets her star on the Hollywood – Walk of Fame. It’s about time and well deserved! Katey’s a freakin’ legend and a great actress too! I’m a huge fan of both “Married With Children” and “Sons of Anarchy”. I’m a huge fan of her roles Peg Bundy and Gemma Morrow.

As you can see here the entire Bundy family reunited and “Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam was there to support her.

She’s not only a talented actress, she’s also one stunning looking woman for her age!!! She has always been a hottie since her “Married With Children” days.

I’ve been to Hollywood once and the Walk of Fame is cool!

And by the way, I’m not watching the final “Sons of Anarchy” season ’cause I haven’t seen Season 6 yet. I’ll wait for Netflix to update Season 6 and 7 to their streaming services and then I’ll watch the rest of it then. I’m a huge fan of “SOA” like most people. It’s kind of disappointing this show is ending this soon.

Just Noodling Around #3… jamming over a slow ballad…

Here’s another jam track I just did… recorded through AmpliTube. I decided to try and play a solo over a slow ballad and I seem to pull it off okay!!! I’m playing over key changes this time.

I’m taking all the stuff I’ve learned over the years in my lead playing and testing out my skills.

Playing electric guitar is a lot of fun.

I need more pedals, though. I don’t have a large pedal collection. I only have three pedals in my collection. The only ones I have are the Metal Master, Boss Super Overdrive and I have a Wah pedal.

After hearing some of the pedals through AmpliTube makes me want to buy a Chorus, Delay, Flanger and a Echo pedal sometime. I wanna get a Fuzz pedal too ’cause that’s pretty cool sounding.

I really wanna buy an orange amp sometime in the future too ’cause the orange amp has a great sound.

I’d like to get a solid body electric guitar too. I have a hollow body electric but sometime I wanna buy a solid body with a whammy bar. I’d like to experiment and learn how to do whammy bar techniques.

I’d like to get more music gear and stuff but can’t afford it, right now. When I get a job and start working again, I’ll start saving for some of that stuff.

Don’t Forget 9/11/01 and Don’t Forget Benghazi as well…

911Benghazi

9/11/01 wasn’t the only American tragedy. Benghazi counts as an American tragedy ’cause four of ours were killed there which includes our American Ambassador.

I’m betting your money that Benghazi is gonna get ignored a lot today. Liberals know about Benghazi but they don’t care because that tragedy is blamed on their precious Hillary and Barack. If the national news media did some honest reporting about Benghazi, then all Americans would care including liberals. It’s a real shame that Benghazi have to be treated like a political circus. The left accuses the right of being conspiracy theorists over Benghazi when they are the ones being the conspiracy theorists by blaming Bush for 9/11/01. Hypocrites they are.

2nd year on Benghazi and still no closure. Yesterday, I just started reading Aaron Klein’s book, “The Real Benghazi Story” and it’s interesting stuff.

Never forget 9/11/01 and Benghazi. Both tragedies concerns all Americans.

In defense of Kiss…

There’s a lot of misinformed idiots making claims that Kiss is no longer successful or in the spotlight anymore. I call BULLSHIT. Do people even get their facts right before they open their idiot mouths???? Kiss has always been successful, love ’em or hate ’em. The only reason people think Kiss is no longer big in the mainstream is ’cause they haven’t made a new studio album in a long while. Agree with it or not, Kiss is still in the spotlight.

Their last three studio albums were pretty high in the Billboard 200. Look it up. “Psycho Circus” (1998) made it up to no. 3. “Sonic Boom” (2009) made it to no. 2. Their latest album, “Monster” made it to no. 3. The band never made a no. 1 album before but they are still successful.

On top of that, Kiss still sells out concerts and they’re on a successful tour.

Love Kiss or hate ’em, they are legends.

When Gene says that “Rock is dead” and he says that newer bands deserve the “iconic” status he’s only speaking from his experience of what Kiss went through back in the day. Gene has been in the music business for over 30 years or more so he has seen how the music business changed. He has more experience in the music industry than any of us so the man knows what he’s talking about.

I know Gene is a crazy guy but him saying crazy stuff is nothing new. I’ve been reading interviews with Gene and Paul in interviews for a long time and those guys aren’t afraid to tell things like it is. They maybe egotistical yes but at the same time those guys are honest.

Why do people have to be such negative pieces of shits??? Take your hateful opinions and shove ’em up your ass.
