Thoughts on the Oscar nominations for 2020… looks good this year… will I watch? Thinking about it…

Well the Oscar nominations came out for this year and they look surprisingly good. I haven’t watched the Oscars in like several years or more for a few reasons: 1) Hollywood won’t stop getting political 2) The nominations has been shit lately. This year the nominations are looking pretty decent, in my opinion.

The “Joker” movie scored the most nominations and it actually scored a “Best Picture” nomination which is really surprising. The Oscars has never been too friendly with comic book films and violent films so for the Oscars to be all over “Joker” is kind of weird. It’s cool, though. I haven’t seen “Joker” yet but I bought the BluRay for the “Joker” movie last week and I will get to that film sometime this week. I’ll watch it tomorrow night probably.

Anyhow, the other Best Picture nominations for this year looks good… only ones I’ve seen out of the Best Pictures are “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood”, “Marriage Story” and “The Irishman”.

I just watched “Marriage Story” on Netflix last night and it was alright. Not actually the best movie of 2019 like everyone was buzzing about but it was pretty good. Nothing I’ll watch over and over but I thought the best part about “Marriage Story” was Adam Driver’s performance which he actually got nominated for that role. I would like for Adam to win an Oscar for that role but Joaquin Phoenix is probably gonna get the Best Male Lead for “Joker”.

I’m happy that Tom Hanks got nominated for his Mr. Rogers, “It’s a Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood” movie. It does look like Tom Hanks maybe winning his 3rd Oscar ’cause that was a really good performance. I saw the Mr. Rogers movie in theater and LOVED IT.

I’m glad “The Irishman” got some nominations ’cause that was a fucking awesome movie. Loved that one and I’m happy for Quentin Tarantino that he’s in the Oscars spotlight again. “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood” was great too and I predict Quentin might win for Best Original Screenplay for that one.

Was there any snubs for this year’s Oscars that I was disappointed in? Well the only snub I can think of was that Adam Sandler was snubbed for his role in “Uncut Gems”. I saw “Uncut Gems” last week as well… it was a pretty good film but Adam Sandler’s role in that film was the best part about it. I think it’s a shame Sandler got ignored and that was one of his best performances.

I’ve noticed “The Lighthouse” movie with Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe didn’t get too much nominations hardly at all. I’m gonna get to “The Lighthouse” movie this week ’cause I rented it through Google Play so looking forward to that one. I heard “The Lighthouse” is real good and getting a lot of award buzz but it seems it has gotten ignored by the Academy pretty much. “The Lighthouse” movie only got nominated for Best Cinematography category which kind of sucks. I do want to see that film and been wanting to see it for a while. Looks good.

Other than that, the Oscars looks good this time and I might actually watch this one. Yeah, there’s probably gonna be a lot of politics and Trump bashing but I’ll do my best to ignore all that. I’m just curious to see what’s gonna win Best Picture, Best Leading Male actor and Best Supporting Male Actor. I want Tom Hanks to win for the Mr. Rogers role and I really think he’s gonna get it. Joaquin Phoenix is probably gonna win for “Joker” and I wanna see him win that one too.

I haven’t seen “Joker” yet but gonna get around to it tomorrow night. I know “Joker” is the most talked about movie of the year and I’ve never gotten around to seeing it in theater so I bought it on BluRay.

Will “Joker” end up being the first comic book movie to win a “Best Picture” award? I don’t know but it will be amazing so we’ll see. Cross our fingers for now.

15 Films to Look Forward to in 2020…

This is not a best of list but this is a list of 15 films that I am looking forward to in 2020. These are just my opinions. I’ll try to see all of these.

  • 007 “No Time To Die”: I’m a huge James Bond fan. I’ve seen all the Daniel Craig 007 movies in theater so far and I’ll be seeing this one too.
  • Ghostbusters: Afterlife: I was skeptical at first after the terrible all female reboot but after seeing first look photos of G3 on the internet, I’m sold and now looking forward to a trailer!
  • West Side Story (remake): Spielberg’s been making his “West Side Story” remake all year long and it’s getting a Christmas release. From the photos I’ve seen of it so far, it’s looking good. I’m a huge fan of West Side Story so I’ll be looking forward to it. People maybe skeptical but I’m sure Spielberg nailed it. Just wait…
  • Birds of Prey (aka Harley Quinn spinoff movie): I’m a huge fan of the Harley Quinn character so I’ll be looking forward to this one. Can’t wait.
  • The Call of the Wild: I loved the book when I was a kid so I’m looking forward to the film adaptation with Harrison Ford. The films looks good so I’ll be seeing it.
  • The Conjuring 3: I loved the first two Conjuring films so I’m definitely looking forward to 3. I’m a huge horror film fan.
  • Tenet: Christopher Nolan’s next film. I’m a big fan of Nolan’s work. Seen every film he’s ever done so I’m looking forward to his next one for sure.
  • A Quiet Place: Part II: I really loved the first Quiet Place movie as I thought John Krasinski did a good job with it. I figured there would be a sequel coming ’cause the ending left open for more.
  • The New Mutants: Another installment to the X-Men franchise so I’ll be looking forward to this one ’cause it’s actually looking pretty interesting so far.
  • Fast and Furious 9: I’m a huge fan of the Fast & Furious movie franchise. Seen them all except for the 8th one which I will get to soon.
  • Top Gun: Maverick: Can’t leave the Top Gun sequel out of this ’cause I’ve been looking forward to this one ever since there were talks about it in the beginning stages. Loved the first movie so much so I’ll be seeing the sequel for sure.
  • Bill & Ted’s Face the Music: Bill & Ted 3 is happening and it’s coming out in 2020. I love Bill and Ted so I’ll be seeing this one for sure. I like to see a good comedy once in a while.
  • Dune (remake): I’m actually looking forward to the Dune remake ’cause the David Lynch version was kind of disappointing and not faithful to the book. I hope the upcoming remake will be more faithful to the book ’cause I love the book so much. We’ll see.
  • The Many Saints of Newark: I’m looking forward to this ’cause this film is gonna be a prequel to the Sopranos TV series on HBO and it’s a mobster movie. Michael Gandolfini (who is the son of James) will be playing the young Tony Soprano in it so this movie already sounds interesting.
  • Samaritan: This is Sylvester Stallone’s next film after “Rambo: Last Blood”. Sly will take on the comic superhero genre playing the Samaritan superhero in the leading role. Can’t wait for this one. I look forward to any Sly Stallone film.

Saw the Mr. Rogers movie, “It’s a Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood” yesterday afternoon… really GOOD!!!

So yesterday afternoon, I went to the mall to get my Christmas shopping done. When I finished my Christmas shopping, I decided to hit the movies to kill some time and I ended up seeing the Mr. Rogers movie starring Tom Hanks titled, “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood”. I’ve been wanting to see this movie for a while ’cause I used to be a Mr. Rogers fan when I was little. I used to watch that show all the time when I was a kid and it used to be my favorite show.

So now here we have a Mr. Rogers biopic/biography film of the famous children’s TV show host with Tom Hanks playing the role of Fred Rogers. At first I was a little skeptical of Hanks playing the role of Fred Rogers and I wasn’t sure if he’ll be able to pull it off or not but now that I’ve seen the film for myself, I was blown away. Tom nailed the Fred Rogers role perfectly. Tom nailed his looks and Tom nailed his speaking voice too… it is pretty much dead on with the real life Fred Rogers. Tom knocks it out of the park like usual. Tom can play anything that throws at him, is there anything that man can’t do? I think there is another Oscar coming for Tom. Tom is a two time Oscar winner believe it or not even though it seems like he won a lot… he won an award for the film “Philadelphia” and won another one for “Forrest Gump”. Does Tom have a third one on the way? I hope Tom gets a nomination for the “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” film at least and hopes the Academy doesn’t snub him for the next Oscars show. This is one of Tom’s best roles.

As for the film itself goes, I was impressed of how it was directed. They got the feel of Mr. Rogers perfectly. I almost felt like watching the TV show except this was on the big screen. They nailed the Mr. Rogers TV set perfectly… they got the music perfect and the whole movie was directed by a female director and she did a really really good job. I thought the other cast in the film did a great job too even if the movie is full of unknown actors, Hanks was the only big name pretty much.

After years and years of violent action movies and dark films, we finally get a movie that is very positive and heartfelt. It’s that type of movie that will make you smile all the way through and it certainly did that to me.

The film tells the real life story of Fred Rogers befriending a journalist who worked for Esquire magazine, it’s about that famous interview that Fred Rogers did with them. The film was about the friendship of Fred and journalist Tom Junod (which the film changed his name to Loyd Vogel).

I thought it was an amazingly well made and perfect film. It was beautiful. Loved it. Definitely getting the BluRay when it comes out and this film is definitely bound to get some Oscar nominations for sure and I hope Tom doesn’t get snubbed. If you were a fan of Mr. Rogers or if you never watched the show before, it is recommended seeing. The film is an introduction of Mr. Rogers too so you don’t really need to watch the original TV show. Glad I went and saw it.

Next movie to see in theater is “Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker” in a few weeks.

Watched “The Irishman”on Netflix last night and I’m like, “Wow, this is the best film of the year!”

Yesterday evening on Thanksgiving, I watched the Netflix movie “The Irishman” that was directed by Martin Scorsese. I’ll have to say like the title of this topic says that this is the best movie of 2019… well so far anyway and I really mean that too. It’s definitely another winner for Scorsese. Marty Scorsese is a genius film maker, no doubt. He has made a lot of great films over the years like “Goodfellas”, “Cape Fear” and “The Departed” being a few of my favorites that he did. Well Marty’s new film, “The Irishman” I’ve been looking forward to for a long time and it’s finally here.

I was totally impressed with it and blown away. The movie grabs you right from the start as the movie begins. As soon as the movie starts, I watch it from start to finish without any interruptions and yes, it’s a 3 and half hour movie. The movie has an all star cast too… it has everyone from: Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Anna Paquin, Jesse Plemons, Steven Van Zandt, etc.

This wasn’t the first film Deniro and Pacino teamed up together in. They did a few other movies together like “The Godfather Part II’, “Righteous Kill” and “Heat”. So I think “The Irishman” would be their 4th film together… correct me if I’m wrong? Even though I think Deniro is a shitty person in real life and absolutely hate his left-wing politics, he’s still a great actor and I’m not afraid to admit that. I thought he did a great job in this film, though and this is definitely one of his best roles.

Yes, there was another movie based upon the “Hoffa” disappearance & murder which was a film directed by Danny Devito and starring Jack Nicholson as Hoffa released in the year 1992. You probably remember that film and I remember re-watching that one on Netflix not too long ago. This film and Marty’s “The Irishman” are two different films, though even though they’re similar stories.

“The Irishman” was based upon the book titled, “I Heard You Paint Houses” by Charles Brandt.

“The Irishman” just simply tells the story of Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran who is telling the story of his criminal past being a part of the Buffalo crime family and former union labor high official. The film also tells its own story of the mysterious Jimmy Hoffa disappearance and murder in which Sheeran confessed to. Jimmy Hoffa who was once a labor union leader himself.

I thought “The Irishman” was a brilliant movie and it’s not only the best film of the year, it’s also the best original movie on Netflix. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Netflix has too many original films. Most of them bad and a few of them actually pretty good but finally Netflix released a really good one. “The Irishman” was mind-blowing and I love how Marty is trying to keep mobster movies alive ’cause those type of movies are fading. Marty is the best at making mob movies, though.

Not only that Robert Deniro kills it with his acting… can’t ignore the talent of Pacino, Pesci and Keitel. Those guys killed it too like they always do. We haven’t seen Joe Pesci in a movie in a long time and obviously that man still got it even though he’s 76 now. I just love Pesci’s fast talking voice and that’s probably why he is so popular, really… people just like the way he talks.

The movie was also well filmed, well written and well directed. No complaints at all. Just a perfect all around movie all the way through. I’m definitely gonna give it another viewing, probably next weekend.

Check out “The Irishman”. The movie was amazing and I hope it gets a nomination for Best Picture at the next Oscars.

Will Warner Bros. ever release the Zack Snyder version of “Justice League” (or better known as the “Snyder Cut”)??? I hope they do and they should!!!

So now that director Zack Snyder and Ben Affleck has officially joined the “Snyder Cut” movement, will Warner Bros. soon release the Snyder version of the latest “Justice League”???

I haven’t been following this story much so I thought I would finally look into it and post my thoughts. I believe what led to this movement is that Zack Snyder filmed a much longer version of the film “Justice League”… I’ve read that Snyder’s version was much more than 3 hrs. long. About three and a half hour long film, I think. It turned out that Warner Bros. hated the Snyder version so much that they didn’t want to release it at all. That’s how director Joss Whedon came in to take over for re-shoots and re-writes so therefor, the Joss Whedon version of “Justice League” brought the film down to a two hour film.

Once Joss Whedon’s version of “Justice League” came out in theaters, it received mostly negative criticism by fans. This sparked interest of DC/Warner fans that they think Warner Bros. should release the Snyder cut ’cause they might think the Snyder version would be a lot better. The “Snyder Cut” movement has been going on through social media for a long time now. Jason Momoa already expressed interest in the “Snyder Cut”. Now Zack Snyder himself and Ben Affleck joined the movement.

Even though Snyder directed the original version all by himself, it’s not all up to him to release it publicly since it’s Warner Bros.’s film so it’s their prerogative whether or not they want to release it. Even Kevin Smith wants the Snyder Cut released.

Even though I have no problem with Joss Whedon’s theatrical release of “Justice League” as I think it’s pretty good, I really hope Warner Bros. releases the Snyder version. I think we deserve to see Snyder’s take on the “Justice League” film like it was originally intended, ya know? Warner Bros. may hate the Snyder version but that doesn’t mean the rest of us will hate it. They should make a DVD/BluRay exclusive release of Snyder’s version, I don’t see why not?

I know Snyder’s: “Man of Steel” and “B vs. S: Dawn of Justice” got mixed reviews but I fuckin’ LOVED both of those films. I thought both were really good and still stand by it. I think the Snyder version of “Justice League” would be really good too. The reason I loved the Dawn of Justice film so much is that I thought they told the Death of Superman and Doomsday story so well which people don’t get. That story finally deserved to get told on the big screen and “Dawn of Justice” did just that. Plus “Dawn of Justice” was a badass action film too.

With that being said, I hope Warner Bros. does the smart thing and lets all see it ’cause we deserve to see it. We just gotta keep pressuring them.

I finally saw the first bad movie of 2019… Sorry “Terminator: Dark Fate”…

Well yesterday afternoon, I went to the mall so I can get a haircut and I decided to see a movie just to kill some time. Since I’m a pretty big Terminator fan and seen most Terminator films in theater, I decided to see the new “Terminator: Dark Fate” since there was nothing else interesting playing. The “Joker” movie stopped playing in theaters now so I’m gonna have to wait for BluRay release on that one.

So far, I loved all the Terminator movies… yes I even thought “Terminator: Salvation”, “Rise of the Machines” and “Genisys” were all great but finally they made a Terminator film that I absolutely hated so much. Yup, “Terminator: Dark Fate” was terrible. The first Terminator film that I thought was garbage and a piece of trash. Yes, it was that bad.

Why was “Dark Fate” terrible? Well for starters they overdid the CGI with this one and it felt like I was watching a cartoon. Yes, the previous Terminator films were loaded with CGI but the earlier films did a good job with CGI and made it realistic looking. The CGI was pretty bad in “Dark Fate”. I also thought the writing and the script was a complete mess and the acting was terrible.

It may seemed exciting that Linda Hamilton came back to reprise her role as the original Sarah Connor but even Linda played the character so badly. Linda is almost 65 and she hasn’t done a movie for the big screen in many years from what I remember. I don’t think she has the acting talent anymore and I thought she was boring in the film.

And of course, we didn’t get much of Arnold either… he only did a few big action scenes and that was it.

Another big reason it sucked so much is that it’s another feminist movie. It screamed “feminism” all over it absolutely. This “Dark Fate” movie had women all over it and all it did was make men look bad. No wonder people has been turning away from Hollywood ’cause the movie industry is so obsessed with feminism and ramming it down our throats.

I know Terminator movies over the years keep getting negative to positive reviews but finally I gave in and thought the latest Terminator film sucked hard. It’s such a shame ’cause I’m a big Terminator fan and the franchise was a big part of my childhood.

The first two films: “The Terminator” with Linda and Michael Biehn and “Terminator 2: Judgement Day” will always be classic films. Those two films are masterpieces and essentials. No other Terminator film will top them. James Cameron definitely ruined Terminator and it’s sad. It’s hard to make a great Terminator film and I think they should hang up the series for good.

I don’t think I’ll buy this one once it comes out on BluRay.

Martin Scorsese is in a backlash by saying Marvel films or superhero films of any kind are like “theme parks than true cinema”… do I agree with him? He’s not wrong…

Martin Scorsese who is a legendary film maker and still is making movies today is in a lot of trouble over comments he made about Marvel films and superhero films. While promoting his first Netflix movie, “The Irishmen”, he said some things about Marvel that set off a firestorm of movie fans. Movie fans online have been bashing him like crazy for it.

What Scorsese said about Marvel films, he said he tried to watch ’em but he can’t ’cause to him they feel like “theme parks” and not true cinema. He also feels that stuff isn’t what young people of today shouldn’t be watching.

At first I was a little angry with him on that and started to piss me off but after thinking about it a while long and hard, he is right. He is dead on pretty much. In his defense, I think what he’s thinking is that when you see a Marvel movie, it feels like a theme park ’cause of all the CGI in these movies and all of these Marvel superhero costumes seem like they’re “theme-park” like. Kind of like when you go to Universal Studios, Sea World, Sixx Flags and Disney World… that’s what you’re seeing in Marvel movies, ya know. That’s kind of what Martin is saying.

He also brings up a valid point that Hollywood doesn’t know what true cinema is anymore. I think what Martin is saying is that he doesn’t want kids today watching these “theme-park” like movies. Superhero movies are getting old and tiresome and I hear him. He’s totally right.

Why won’t kids watch true cinema like in the old days with the “Godfather Trilogy” and I’m sure kids today haven’t even heard of those. Why won’t kids watch movies like “Casablanca”, “Citizen Kane” or any Orsen Welles and Humphrey Bogart film. What about true cinema like the old Clint Eastwood westerns, old John Wayne flicks like “True Grit” and Marilyn Monroe films. How come Hollywood isn’t making movies like those anymore? Instead we’re getting too much CGI crap and too much action movies with no story. We want Hollywood making serious movies again which we haven’t had in a long time. When Hollywood does make a serious movie, it only gets put in selected theaters… not being played everywhere like the old days. It’s always the big CGI action movies that gets played everywhere and marketed heavily. It’s tiresome.

I like superhero movies too, though… some of them are pretty cool but it is getting out of control. Hollywood needs to settle down on that stuff. I wanna see movies with good storytelling and that’s what we’re missing. Everybody’s obsessed with CGI and popcorn flicks nowadays. It’s terrible.

Matt Reeves “The Batman” and starring Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz sounds more intriguing the more I hear about it!!!

Some of you probably wanna know my thoughts about Matt Reeves “The Batman” starring Robert Pattinson and new cast member Zoe Kravitz who just got signed to play the new Selina Kyle/Catwoman. I’m a die-hard Batman fan. I love the big screen movies, love the comics and I love the animated series and animated films as well. I just love anything Batman ’cause I just love the character and the stories.

From what I’m hearing about Matt Reeves “The Batman”…. oh man, it sounds more intriguing the more I hear about it. The thing with “The Batman” they are planning is that it’s not going to be a typical origin story that we’ve already seen so many times. I’ve read this movie is going to be set in the 90’s and will focus on a much younger Bruce Wayne/Batman and in my opinion, I think Robert Pattinson is a great choice. A lot of people are skeptical of the idea since Pattinson’s history with the Twilight films but I think he will make a great Batman. Some maybe skeptical now but wait until the actual movie comes out and give him a chance. I predict Pattinson is gonna knock that role out of the park and kill it! We still haven’t seen what Pattinson is gonna look like in the bat cowl but I’m sure they’re gonna give us our first look at the new Batman soon.

I’m also hearing stuff about that “The Batman” movie is gonna focus more on a detective story and that’s what’s got me sold on it completely. That’s one thing that Batman has been missing for years… the detective part of things which is what Batman is supposed to be… a detective. All those live action Batman movies over the years… the Tim Burton films, the Schumacher films, the Christopher Nolan trilogy and the Zack Snyder Batman… they are all big action flicks and Batman was a crime fighter in all those movies, not the detective.

In the comics and graphic novels, Batman was a detective in most of ’em. Batman was also a detective in those Arkham video games by Rock Steady. I love the detective stories in Batman and it’s finally time to bring those to the big screen and I applaud Matt Reeves for that. In Matt Reeves “The Batman”, I’m sure  there will be some violence and action scenes but I hear it’s going to mostly focus on story.

I also hear the film is going to feature more than one villain and it’s probably gonna feature everybody. Penguin and the Riddler hasn’t been casted yet but if they’re going to use those characters for the film, I’d suggest they get Robin Lord Taylor for Penguin and Cory Michael Smith for The Riddler… actors who played those characters from the “Gotham” TV show on FOX. Robin Taylor as the Penguin and Cory Smith as The Riddler… oh god, those guys played those characters so well. They made a perfect Penguin and Riddler and I hope Matt Reeves will get those guys for “The Batman”. I doubt it but ya never know. I love the “Gotham” TV show on FOX as I’ve been watching it on Netflix a lot and I’ve been watching Season 4. Only 5 seasons of that show and trying to catch up to the very end of the show.

Back to “The Batman” being a detective story, like I said I love the idea and this movie needs to be a who-dun-it kind of thing. Will it be a murder mystery? Probably.

I wonder who’s going to play the rest of the characters??? They still need to cast a new Alfred Pennyworth, Lucius Fox and they need to cast Harvey Dent if they’re going to use him.

As far as other villains go…. I hope they use Dr. Hugo Strange, Killer Croc, Pyg, Hush, Two Face (Harvey Dent), Ra’s Al Ghul and Deadshot. This film will try to fit all the villains in one film. That’s the goal I think?

This film is looking to be like a trilogy of some sorts so it’s not gonna be a one-off. If this film turns out be a hit then there will probably be more.

Another question you have to ask is will I go see “The Joker” movie with Joaquin Phoenix? I’m hoping to see it and I’m gonna try to see it before it stops playing. I think it’s gonna be in the theater for a long while since it’s a box office hit. I do want to see it, though and it looks good.

“Rambo: Last Blood” was freakin’ great! Don’t listen to the critics and haters!!!

Just saw “Rambo: Last Blood” earlier today and I was blown away by it. The film was pretty amazing really. The film was pretty graphic, dark and intense. This film was a lot more darker than the previous 4 Rambo films.

The plot to this movie is very straightforward really. After years of John Rambo fighting battles… he finally decided that he had enough and live a normal life on his father’s ranch (starting where Rambo 4 ended). He adopts a family to live with since he hasn’t had a family in a long time. He lives with his old friend Maria who is the grandmother of Gabrielle (who appears to be Rambo’s adopted daughter as well). Gabrielle wants to go to Mexico to see her biological father who she hasn’t seen in years and once she goes there, she finds out her father never cared for her and her mother. Suddenly she goes missing after that and now all hell breaks loose.

That’s all I’ll say about the plot for now to avoid spoilers but there isn’t really anything shocking in the film anyway. It’s just a simple movie with a simple plot and story but most importantly this film is action packed all the way through. What do you expect from a Rambo movie, right?

This Rambo movie was totally different than the previous 4. It definitely felt like a western and you’ll see plenty of action, violence and gore. I’ve always known that Rambo was a pretty intense guy in the previous 4 films but wait until you see him in this movie. You thought Rambo was intense in Rambo 4 (2008), wait until you see him in “Last Blood”. You haven’t seen nothing yet. In this movie there will be some gross outs and some pretty gritty scenes.

Some Rambo fans wanna complain about the short hair but I have no problem with the short hair. Once you see this movie, you’ll see why. I think the long haired Rambo is played out anyways and it’s finally time to try something different, ya know?

Sly Stallone maybe a 70 year old guy but he can still do action movies pretty well and he still got it. Sly is an easy target of movie critics and haters but he’s still making movies and doing what he loves so I respect him for that.

With that being said, “Rambo: Last Blood” was a badass movie. I loved it all the way through. A perfect action movie. Those sex traffickers in the movie thought Sly would be easy to pick on but man, once you see this movie you’ll see that the sex traffickers thought wrong. They didn’t realize who they were fucking with, lmao. You don’t mess with Rambo and Rambo will make sure you wish you never did.

If you’re a Rambo fan or a newbie, you should go see it. You don’t really need to see the Rambo movies in order since they’re all standalone movies with their own stories anyways. This makes me want to re-watch the first four Rambo films and I will soon.

Man, movie critics all over the internet are ripping “Rambo: Last Blood” to shreds. They’re tearing that movie apart like crazy. I haven’t read any reviews of “Rambo: Last Blood” online since I don’t read movie reviews from critics at all but I’m hearing through social media that the film is getting negative reviews like mad.

You see, when I see a movie, I always go by my own opinion alone. I see the movie for myself and will give a 100% honest opinion on it. I’ll have no problem loving a movie that critics hate and will have no problem hating a movie that the critics love. When they write about their opinions on films doesn’t necessarily mean they are right.

For example, critics praised the hell out of movies positively with movies such as “Black Panther” and “Mad Max: Fury Road” so I go to the movies to see them for myself and ended up hating them. I tried to re-watch those movies for a second viewing and still haven’t changed my mind… I still don’t like them to this day. There has been movies where critics hated that I loved for example, “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is one movie I can think of at the top of my head. There has been many others but I don’t feel like listing them all but I think you get my point by now.

I think the reason critics are slamming “Rambo: Last Blood” is ’cause they are just triggered by the fact that the film is bringing awareness to human sex trafficking. Most movie critics are die-hard liberals anyway so of course, they’re gonna be offended by the content in “Last Blood”.

I would say, fuck all the critics and you go see the film anyways. I know I’m going to. Like I said, I don’t go by their opinion… I go by own opinion only. I don’t have to like a movie just because this person does and don’t have to hate it just because this person does. I have no problem having opposites opinion. Only thing, though, I don’t have opposites of opinion all the time… there are times where I actually think most people are right that this movie is good and this movie is bad.

Go by your own opinion, that’s the beauty of freedom of expression. These so-called professional critics who goes to the movies for free and gets paid for it are a bunch of losers anyway. That’s not a real job, in my opinion. They’re just paid a lot of money just to ram their opinions down our throats and that’s what they’re here for. That’s all it is, just their “opinion”.

I write my own movie reviews “online” just to show you that I don’t listen to anyone else. Go into the theaters with an open mind.

I don’t read movie reviews online either… I don’t go to rotten tomatoes and don’t read the reviews at IMDB. It’s all bunch of shit.

Can’t wait to see “Rambo: Last Blood” and I’m gonna see it tomorrow.
