Is Mickey hinting us that he’s going to Wrestlemania?

Check out Mickey Rourke’s pics at the Spirit Awards, he’s holding a WWE World Champ belt from the RAW brand.

Is that a sign that Mickey changed his mind about dropping out of Wrestlemania, and he’s actually going to do it? I’m not sure if that belt that Mickey holding is the actual belt from WWE or a replica.

I’m on the look out for more pics of Mickey Rourke at the Spirit Awards.

Thought: Remember, don’t expect your Oscar predictions to be right…

Remember, what Sid Ganis said now, “You’re in for a surprise”. The Oscars want to keep the winners unpredictable and surprising this year. “Slumdog Millionaire” may not be the big winner tomorrow, Mickey Rourke could even get robbed, the same for Kate Winslet, and Heath Ledger. Just because all of them are winning big at other award shows, does not mean they will win at the Oscars tomorrow too.

I mean what if “Wall-E”, even gets robbed for Best Animated film and “Bolt” could get the win instead? “Kung Fu Panda” could possibly be a big lucky winner too. Do you think “Bolt” could get the win because of Miley Cyrus and John Travolta? Yes.

You may think the winners will be too predictable for you, but to me, I think it will be unpredictable. Any of them can get the win, so don’t go assuming that your winner picks will be the obvious ones.

Tomorrow’s Oscars will be great and am looking forward to watching it.

Report: Leaked Oscar winners at TMZ is faked…

TMZ posted a memo claimed to be written by Sid Ganis, who is the president of the Academy. They are the winners of this Sunday’s Oscars claimed to be leaked to the web.

See it here:

http://www.tmz.com/2009/02/21/and-the-winner-isnt/

It is faked. The typed letter looks amatuerish, they got the nominee names wrong for “Sound Mixing” winners which the Academy wouldn’t do. Plus, the Academy wouldn’t write the list of winners on a piece of paper ’cause they know that’ll be in danger of winners getting leaked to someone else.

I’m sure the Academy keeps the winners in an envelope locked up in a safe place and wait for the envelopes to be opened at this Sunday’s show. So some of those winners or all of them, could be wrong.

Thought: I think Ah-nuld will still film, “The Expendables”…

TMZ and AICN, both of those websites, has said Arnold may or may not film his scene for “The Expendables”. Honestly, I think both of those websites are just bullshitting. Although, I do know that Sly himself talked to both of those websites to make corrections of the Arnold movie news, it’s just a tease, ’cause you know, Sly likes surprises. Sly likes to shock people with things. Arnold will still do the movie.

Arnold is currently trying to fix the California budget and that’s his only focus. Somehow, I think Sly will drag Arnold out of office secretly for a day and then they will film Arnold’s scene privately.

I don’t think there’s anything to worry about Arnie pulling out of the film because of his political work. Sly and Arnold’s been friends for years. I’m sure Arnold wants to do this for him and action movie fans. He’ll do it, trust me on this.

Thought: Sly needs to bring Will Teasle back for “Rambo 5″…

Sly confirmed a while back he is also doing a Rambo 5 in the future, he’ll probably get right to work on that, after he’s done with “The Expendables”. What do you think? Should Sly bring Brian Dennehy back for Rambo 5? I think he should. Brian should be back as a retired Sheriff, Will Teasle, becoming friends with John Rambo in the fifth installment. Dennehy and Stallone reuniting would be pretty sweet. I really hope Sly considers bringing him back. Brian is getting old, yes, but he had a role in “Righteous Kill”, the new Al Pacino and Robert Deniro movie, and I can tell you, Brian still has the acting talent. It’s worth it to bring Brian back to Rambo. Do it Sly!! Write Brian as Will Teasle in the script for the next one. SERIOUSLY!!!

Report: Hugh Jackman on hosting the Oscars, “I’m going to be drunk and nude on stage”…

Is Hugh Jackman serious? Or is he joking? Things tell me that Hugh Jackman is not afraid of walking nude on stage in front of thousands of people because I’m sure he did it before when doing his theatrical plays.

He also confirms that the “High School the Musical” kids will perform with him.

Read Hugh Jackman’s interview here:

I’m sure Jackman is just fooling with the drunk and nude thing. If he actually does it, I’m sure they’ll censor his privates somehow.

Report: Linda Hamilton in negotiations with McG to reprise role as Sarah Connor for “Terminator Salvation” but as voice over only…

More great news, Linda Hamilton who played Sarah Connor in the first two Terminator films, just might return to the fourth installment to reprise her iconic role, in McG’s “Terminator: Salvation”. Only thing is though, Linda herself won’t be appearing on screen at all, she’s only doing voice overs. As in, telling the story of her son John Connor.

From MTV Movies Blog:

http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2009/02/19/exclusive-linda-hamilton-in-negotiations-for-terminator-salvation/

Hopefully Linda will agree to do it. I remember over the years, she made a vow that she wouldn’t do another Terminator movie without Jimmy Cameron. Maybe she changed her mind somehow?

If they can’t get her, maybe McG will go after Lena Headey from the “Sarah Connor Chronicles” TV show?

Thought: What if Heath Ledger loses his Oscar…again?

Heath was once nominated for “Brokenback Mountain” in 2005, but he never got the win. Could the same happen this year? This is one of the award categories that can be unpredictable. Never assume that Heath Ledger could automatically get the win because of his death.

Could this be Robert Downey Jr’s lucky day and he could actually win for his role in “Tropic Thunder”? Could Josh Brolin get the lucky win for “Milk”? What about Phillip Seymour Hoffman for “Doubt”, or Michael Shannon for “Revolutionary Road”? Any of the other guys can get it.

It all depends on the most votes the Academy gave them the win for. If Robert Downey Jr. wins this, that would be shocking.

If Heath Ledger doesn’t win, then I think that’s what he would have wanted. I’ve read somewhere that he never really wanted to be an Oscar winner? I remember reading somewhere on the internet that Heath was relieved that he didn’t win for “Brokenback Mountain” for some reason. If Heath doesn’t win, then it’s no big deal for me and I’ll take it for what it is.

I’m sure there’ll be an angry public outrage by Batman fans if Heath doesn’t win but if you use a little common sense, if Heath was still alive today, he would think his performance is better than getting an Oscar nomination. So, he wouldn’t worry about losing an Oscar again. I don’t think he ever wanted to be an Oscar winner like he once said, so treat his true wishes with heart and respect.

Cool Video: More on A.R. Rahman, videos of his live performances…

With the Oscars just around the corner, I’ve decided to do more research on A.R. Rahman to learn more about the guy and to hear this guy’s other music. This guy is cool, check him out. If you want to buy A.R. Rahman’s albums, you would probably find him in the “World Music” section in your local record store since he is from India. He’s an electronic and pop musician but still pretty cool. I’m sure A.R. will put on some great live performances at the Oscars this Sunday too. Watch and you’ll see why. Like what you see? Type up his name in youtube and you’ll come across all kinds of live footage from his concerts.
