Stephen King’s “A Good Marriage”… a movie worth checking out!!!

Over the weekend, I’ve watched Stephen King’s, “A Good Marriage” on Netflix streaming. I actually liked it a lot! I had to watch it twice over the weekend. The movie is based upon the short novella written by King himself and he also wrote the screenplay for the film version.

This story is about a woman who is married to a man for over 20 years and then she finds out his dark secret. He’s a serial killer!!! Yep, she married a guy and raised a family and after all this time never knew about his serial killer past.

I loved the story because this is something that could happen for real. It already did happen for real because Stephen admits he inspired this story from the real life Dennis Rader BTK case.

Some of you know that I enjoy serial killer fiction which inspired my, “Evil Fred” song.

“A Good Marriage” by Stephen King didn’t get a lot of positive reviews but I actually loved it. Surprisingly, the book and the movie were pretty much the same except the ending from both is slightly different.

“A Good Marriage” was surprisingly enjoyable. It seemed pretty realistic and this could happen to anybody. This story makes me never wanna get married ’cause you never know if your lover will have a dark past. HA, just kidding.

This movie is worth a look! Check it out!

The Top 10 Best Romantic Movies of all time in celebration of V-Tines day….

So “50 Shades of Grey” comes out this V-Tines weekend and I wanted to point out that there are better romantic movies out there, people! You just got to look around! In celebration of V-Tines day today, I thought it would be cool to name the 10 Best Romantic movies, in my opinion. This list is in no particular order so enjoy!

  • Casablanca – Can’t go wrong with this classic movie starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. Probably the best romantic movie ever, in my opinion. I want to get this movie on BluRay but it’s hard to find. I’ll have to order it online sometime.
  • Gone With The Wind – Can’t forget this incredible classic either. Really long movie but worth watching.
  • The Princess Bride – Another one of my favorite romantic movies of all time. The casting is killer and the story is amazing. I love Cary Elwes and Robin Wright.
  • Sleepless In Seattle – A great romantic movie starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. An excellent film and probably one of my favorite films of Tom’s.
  • When Harry Met Sally – Another one of my favorite romantic films with Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. Another classic and also, can’t forget that classic scene where Meg was giving that fake orgasm in the diner.
  • The Fault In Our Stars – Maybe a movie aimed toward the teen and young adult audience but I actually loved this movie. It was well-made and definitely worth seeing. I liked it!
  • Les Miserables (2012) – The famous musical written by Victor Hugo was an amazing story and I loved the 2012 remake of it with Hugh Jackman and Russel Crowe. Such a great film.
  • Top Gun – The classic film with Tom Cruise. Yes, it’s a romantic movie and probably one of the best out there, in my opinion.
  • Eyes Wide Shut – A classic film by Stanley Kubrick, starring Nicole and Tom. Yes, it’s definitely a love story.
  • The West Side Story – Can’t forget this classic film directed by Robert Wise. Also starring, Richard Beymer and the late Natalie Wood. Such a powerful love story and one of my favorites of all time.

Don’t get me started on films like “The Notebook” or “Titanic”… those films are overrated as hell.

Once again, don’t believe all the lies from people claiming they won’t see, “50 Shades of Grey”, you know they’re gonna flock to see it anyway…

HA! There’s predictably a lot of trash talking and hate toward the “50 Shades of Grey” film that just came out today. People already making claims that they won’t see it. Why are people hating on “50 Shades” movie? Is it because they are scared of BDSM or afraid to admit that they are interested in BDSM or a little bit of both?

I’ve read the “50 Shades” book and really didn’t like it all that much myself. Women claimed the book was hot and steamy but from a man’s perspective, I didn’t think the book was hot and steamy at all. If you want hot and steamy erotic stories, you’re not gonna find that in “50 Shades”… there are tons of erotica stories out there. Even though I didn’t care for the “50 Shades” book, I do appreciate E.L. James on trying to bring sex and bondage to the mainstream, though. That I can respect her for.

I’m actually thinking about seeing the movie in theater but not this weekend. Maybe sometime next week. Hell, maybe the movie will be better than the book? I’ll have to see for myself. Seeing the movie in theater could be an opportunity to check out all the ladies going to see it.

So far, the film is getting mixed reviews. Some love it and some hate it. There are even men saying that they liked the film as well. Maybe I will check it out for myself. Don’t know.

People think “50 Shades” is gonna be a box office failure but I don’t think so. It’s gonna be a hit and it’s already smashing records. Maybe I should re-read the first book ’cause I still have it on my Ipad.

I’m probably gonna check it out this coming Tuesday when I go pick up “Games of Thrones Season 4” on DVD that day, hopefully. Tuesdays are $6.00 at the Movies and I’ll be using a gift card so I won’t have to worry about whether the “50 Shades” film is gonna suck or not but we’ll wait and see.

Things like “50 Shades” comes out ’cause people are interested in sex and erotica type stuff so don’t blame Hollywood for bringing this stuff to you ’cause you’re the one that helped support it to begin with.

Casting and plot revealed for “Evil Dead” TV series!!! Yes, Bruce is indeed coming back as Ash!!!

The casting and plot details have been revealed for the upcoming “Evil Dead” series for the Starz network. Ray Santiago and Dana Delorenzo have been signed to play Ash’s sidekicks for the TV show.

Look like this TV show isn’t gonna be a continuation of the 2013, “Evil Dead” big screen film but instead the TV show is gonna be a continuation of the original trilogy so I assume this will take place 30 years after, “Army of Darkness”???

Here’s the synopsis: “Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal.“

Breaking: “Ash Vs Evil Dead” Casting and Details!

Awesome! Wish I can watch this show when it’s on the air but I don’t have Starz and will probably never get it! So if they get it on Netflix, I’ll probably watch it on there. If Netflix doesn’t get the show at all, then I’m gonna have to buy it on DVD.

I’m sure the show will still be a mix of comedy and horror like the original trilogy. I’m sure Ash will say his famous catchphrases such as “Groovy” and “Hail to The King, baby” but I hope he comes up with new catchphrases too!

I’m excited for this show being the big Evil Dead and Bruce Campbell fan that I am. Can’t wait to see him back as Ash. Gonna be badass to see him back in that role and I’m sure he’s still got it! \m/

Mark Hamill is such a great speaker!!! WOW!!

Here’s Mark Hamill telling movie theater goers no talking and no texting during a movie. Like everyone else I LOVE hearing Mark Hamill’s speaking voice. His speaking voice is so amazing.

My question is why didn’t Mark become a radiotalk show host or start his own podcast show? I think he would be great at both of those!

Mark is looking good, though. Better than he has before. Look like he’s been working out and eating right. Starting to look like Luke Skywalker again.

Mark is one of the best speakers out there and I’m sure he doesn’t even need a teleprompter at all.

Looking forward to seeing him back in Star Wars later this year! Rock on, Mark! \m/

Mel Brooks says he’s writing “Spaceballs: The Search For More Money” sequel and I’m all for it!!!

Mel Brooks, the comic genius and legend appeared as a guest on Adam Carolla’s podcast show and Mel confirmed he’s writing the sequel to Spaceballs which is still gonna be titled, “The Search For More Money”.

This is pretty cool and I’m all for a “Spaceballs” sequel ’cause “Spaceballs” is one of my favorite comedies of all time. I do hope Rick Moranis comes out of retirement just for this one movie ’cause it’ll be awesome if he agreed to reprise his role as Dark Helmet. I’m sure Bill Pullman will return as Lone Star and Daphne Zuniga will return as Princess Vespa.

Of course, it isn’t possible for John Candy and Joan Rivers to return to their roles, though.

Hopefully, Rick agrees to return. It doesn’t hurt for him to do one last film?

Do women like men with muscles and six pack abs? I’d say yes they do! Don’t let them fool you…

After the trailer of “Magic Mike XXL” got released yesterday, of course, women on the internet went nuts over the trailer. Women would make claims that they are not attracted to men with muscles and a six pack but don’t listen to their lies. After the “Magic Mike XXL” trailer dropped yesterday, women started obsessing over the trailer. Sharing it all over the place on facebook and twitter. I think it’s safe to say that they are attracted to muscles and a six pack. They’re just really good at hiding it until now.

I haven’t even seen the trailer myself yet and I haven’t even seen the first film either. Is it possible for guys to look like those actors in the “Magic Mike” movies?

Yes, I believe it can be possible. Just work out hard, eat right most of the time, do your cardio and anything is possible. Don’t listen to the haters and doubters if you wanna look like that. Admittedly, that is kind of my own goal is to hopefully look like that.

Yeah, I’m still doing the fitness and bodybuilding thing. Still doing it all year round even throughout the fall & winter seasons.

If you wanna attract more ladies, getting into bodybuilding would help. Ever since I got into bodybuilding like 4 or 5 years ago, I’ve had more women approach me and talk to me — it’s a great feeling, ya know? They do like fit & muscular guys… don’t let ’em fool you.

Should I watch the Magic Mike movies myself, though??? These movies weren’t made just for women alone, this franchise was also made for “straight” men (Yes, I am 100% “straight”), see this interesting article on why straight guys should see these movies too:

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/5-Reasons-Straight-Guys-Should-See-Magic-Mike-31680.html

So maybe I should check ’em out? I’ll have to think about it. I won’t see these movies in theater but DVD rental, probably.

Will “50 Shades Of Grey” be a box office hit or a failure?

So the “50 Shades of Grey” movie comes out on Feb. 13th, the day before Valentine’s Day. I even wonder myself if the film will be a box office hit or a box office failure? Which will it be? Everybody thinks it’s gonna flop but I don’t think so. I think the movie will be successful. Don’t buy all the lies from women who claim they won’t see it. You know all the ladies and possibly men will flock to see it. They won’t resist this movie. People are gonna be curious about it even if they believe the casting or the movie looks bad.

Will I see it? I’m actually thinking about it. I’m probably not gonna resist it myself just like I didn’t resist the book. I think the theaters will be full of chicks on opening day. If I go alone without going with a lady, I might get a lot of weird looks and stares but who cares, ya know?

Sure, mostly women are into the “50 Shades” franchise but there are some men who are into it too. Whether this franchise is being liked or not, it’s the most talked about franchise right now and it has created a buzz in the entertainment industry. I predict it’s gonna be a hit movie on Valentine’s weekend. We’ll wait and see how it does.

Dan Aykroyd finally speaks on new all-female “Ghostbusters”… he praises the casting but ignores the fans requests to “leave it” alone…

Dan Aykroyd finally releases statement now that the casting have been revealed and he says the casting is “magnificent”. It’s pretty clear that Dan and Sony studios are not listening to the fans commentary. They are pretty desperate in getting this film made for sure. There are too many fans begging them to leave this film alone but it’s obvious the crew behind the new “Ghostbusters” don’t care what the fans think. It’s pretty amazing isn’t it?

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/dan-aykroyd-new-ghostbusters-cast-767943?facebook_20150128

Last time I checked, Dan have been talking about for years that he originally wanted the original Ghostbusters to pass the torch to three males and 1 female, I think. Originally they wanted this film to be a continuation, not a reboot but since Harold Ramis died and Ivan Reitman pulled out… there have been sudden changes.

I think the only reason they’re making this all-female is that their delusional minds, an all-female Ghostbusters would be a “hit”. Well all the long time Ghostbusters fans have responded and they’re not welcoming that idea. Nobody wants this to happen.

Will any of the original “Ghostbusters” be involved? I wouldn’t be surprised that Bill Murray will finally agree to sign on to it just to draw people into to see this but even Bill being in it wouldn’t be able to save it.

We wanted the original 4 in the film but since Harold passed away they should have killed the project altogether. I hope this film flops hard.
