BREAKING NEWS: Brooks & Dunn, country group to boot scootin’ boogie out of the music business for good…

Brooks & Dunn, the longtime iconic country band is calling it quits. Yes, the band announced sudden news on their website. They say they will release one last “Greatest Hits” album with some new songs on it and this will be their last tour.

I am a country fan, I like some of it sure, the only reason I’m blogging about this news ’cause I saw Brooks & Dunn live in concert once a long time ago.

More on it here:

Don’t worry country fans, I don’t see Kix and Ronnie leaving the music business anytime soon ’cause I definitely see both of them doing a solo album each.

Report: Michael Jackson movie is coming…hitting theaters Oct. 30th…

The judge at the court, approves the rights for Columbia and AEG Live to release the Michael Jackson movie to the rehearsal footage of the “This Is It Tour”. The film is already confirmed for a release date around Halloween time, Oct. 30th is the release date.

I think all the horror films that’s going to be released on Halloween will get bombed because of Michael Jackson. This MJ film will indeed be the box office hit of the year, it’s possible to sell bigger than “The Dark Knight”.

Will I see this when it comes out? Sure, definitely. I’ll see it.

Report: “Guitar Hero: Van Halen” track listing revealed…pretty much all David Lee Roth era, no Hagar/Cherone…

The new “Guitar Hero: Van Halen” track listing has been revealed. It’s pretty much all hits from the David Lee Roth era of course. Nothing from the Sammy Hagar and Gary Cherone era.

See the listing here:

I’m a big Van Halen fan, but don’t know if I’ll get this one or not. I’ll think about it.

Report: Yep, figures…Paula maybe going to “Dancing With the Stars” either as judge or a contestant…

ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” has already asked Paula Abdul to either be a judge or a contestant on this talent dance show.

Paula will probably go for the judge since it pays more. Since Paula wanted 10 million a year on “Idol”, DWTS will probably give her that deal that she wanted in order to get her to say “yes” to get on the show.

Report: Steven Tyler’s injuries turns out serious after all…singer suffers broken shoulder and stitches in his head…

Steven Tyler’s injury reports are in. He has suffered a broken shoulder and has stitches in his head. He must of had quite a fall!

The band has no plans on whether to cancel the rest of the Aerosmith tour or not, they will get together to discuss it. They will announce their plans at press conference.

Maybe this will be a good reminder to Steven that he isn’t 20 years old anymore. This will teach him to take it easy dancing on the stage.

BREAKING NEWS: Steven Tyler falls off stage during Motorcycle Rally concert in South Dakota…

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler fell off the stage at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally concert in South Dakota that Aerosmith was playing. Steven fell during the song “Love In An Elevator”, he fell on top of a few fans, suffering minor injuries. He was airlifted by helicopter to the nearest hospital. He was in good spirits about it as he was laughing and joking with the physicians that helped him. Making fun of himself perhaps? Probably.

I think this is a good sign that Steven is getting too old for this rock star thang. Maybe that’s what he is laughing with the physician about.

Thought: Paula Abdul to stay on TV or make a return to her music career?

The world of the internets is going crazy over the news that Paula Abdul has decided to quit, American Idol.

I don’t see her leaving TV anytime soon. She’ll probably get asked to be the 4th judge on “America’s Got Talent” to join David Hasselhoff, Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne. Or Paula get asked to be a judge on “Dancing with the Stars” or whatever talent show out there. Or Paula could get her own talk show or maybe do some acting on TV shows/films.

Paula Abdul used to be a huge 80’s pop music icon when she did the music business back in her time. Maybe she has plans to do the music again. Maybe she has plans to record a new album and do a tour?

When I was a kid, I used to listen to her music all the time. She should do a tour where she would sing her classic hits, her songs like “Straight Up”, “Opposites Attract”, “Cold Hearted”, etc.

I don’t care if she goes back to her music career since I don’t care for that type of music anymore, but she should stop doing TV and go back to music. People see her as a music artist, not a TV star.

BREAKING NEWS: The Red Hot Chili Peppers are returning this fall!!!!!

The longtime Chili Peppers drummer, Chad Smith, is the first to announce that Anthony Keidis, Flea, John Frusciante and Chad himself will be returning as the Red Hot Chili Peppers coming soon this October. The Chili Peppers had a very long hiatus from the music business since 2006’s “Stadium Arcadium” (the album came out in 2006, not 2005 that Billboard made their mistake on). Chad Smith will be a very busy guy this fall/winter since he will be working with the Chili Peppers again, he’s in Chickenfoot, and now he’s in a third band called the Bombastic Meatbats.

Chad says the Chili Peppers have been talking about going back into the studio to record a new album but haven’t decided on a producer yet and everything else. Of course, a full fledged Chili Peppers tour will probably follow the new album as well.

Billboard reports:

It’s about time. I’ve always loved the Chili Peppers. Getting excited for the Chilli Peppers return this fall.

I still think “By the Way” was the best new Chili Peppers album so far. “Stadium Arcadium” was okay but hopefully their next album will be a really good one.
