Report: Mick Foley explains why he jumped to TNA and hints he may wrestle again full time

Hardcore wrestling legend, Mick Foley, explains why he made the jump to TNA instead of WWE. Foley explains there wasn’t much more to do in WWE since he quit wrestling in 2000 and just performed in storylines every once in a while. He goes on saying that he’s been watching TNA wrestling for a while, he’s been liking the TNA shows and thinks he can make a difference by helping that wrestling company instead of WWE.

Foley also hints that he may get into the ring again, says there are 10 wrestlers that he would like to work with.

The 10 TNA wrestlers I can see Foley working with: Kurt Angle, Booker T, Samoa Joe, Sting, Kevin Nash, Team 3D (formerly known as the Dudley Boyz from WWE), Scott Steiner, Rhino, Jay Lethal and Christian Cage.

I do watch TNA wrestling sometimes when there is nothing else on TV at night. I don’t watch it on a regular basis, but sometimes. TNA is just like the next WCW Nitro.

Official “Survivor Series” 2008 poster with John Cena on it…

That’s the official poster for this year’s “Survivor Series” that’s been leaked all over wrestling websites early. Well John Cena haters, look like Cena is coming back very soon probably sometime this fall before “Survivor Series”. And look like he’s going to be the main event again. *yawn*

I just hope Chris Jericho will still be champion at Survivor Series so we can get a Jericho vs. Cena match instead of another Cena vs. Orton that we’ve seen so many times.

I’m sick of Cena being gone and then he comes back again this soon. Everybody hates Cena whether he plays a good guy or bad guy. Everyone knows he’s such a shitty performer. Horrible mic worker and he only knows one or two wrestling moves.

If Cena becomes champ at Survivor Series, then I’m done watching Raw for a while.

The Good and the Bad in the WWE currently…

I just wanted to explain some of the “good” and the “bad” things going on in WWE right now.

The Good

-Triple H being champion again

-Chris Jericho being champion again

-Randy Orton being back

-Kane vs. Rey Mysterio fued

-Santino Marrella and Beth Phoenix pairing

-NO JOHN CENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂

-Stone Cold Steve Austin returning soon

-Mickie James, another WWE Diva who I like

-Charlie Haas impersonating other wrestlers

-New young wrestlers have been getting signed such as Kofi Kingston and others.

-JBL getting more screen time and wrestling more

-Vicky Guerrero and Edge romance storyline is finally over, Vicky is performing great by herself now

-Ted Dibiase Jr. and Cody Rhodes as Priceless, I really like them

-The storylines and feuds with wrestlers are improving

The Bad

-Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross being apart. Lawler announcing on RAW and Jim Ross announcing on Smackdown, that is not right. Lawler and JR belong together on RAW. Stupid WWE on this move.

-New RAW GM Mike Adamle, I don’t like him.

-WWE Diva Jillian Hall still being around, she’s the blonde that sings really bad on purpose. Probably one of the worst wrestling characters WWE ever created.

-Wrestlers like Batista, JBL, Kane and HBK never getting a chance to win the champ belt when they should. WWE needs to stop giving the belt to Randy Orton or John Cena everytime they return. Give other stars a chance.

-Most of the veterans of the WWE are gone and moved on like Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, The Rock, etc. The wrestling industry isn’t the same without them.

-The new tag team, Cryme Tyme, two black wrestlers who formed another rap/hip hop gimmick. Yo yo yo yo yo yo, Money, money, yeah yeah… *yawn*. I don’t like this tag team. They are annoying.

-No Vince McMahon being around. He’ll be back. Maybe Vince will be back when Stone Cold returns. Vince will want to return before the next Wrestlemania like he always does. I don’t like it when McMahon takes a long break from TV. McMahon rules.

BREAKING NEWS: Stone Cold Steve Austin is returning to the WWE…

And that’s the bottom line ’cause Stone Cold says so. Yes, that’s right! The Texas Rattlesnake and the beer drinking redneck is making another full time return to the WWE.

Last night on RAW Stone Cold was announced as one of the three referees for fans to pick for the Batista vs. Jericho Champ match at the next ppv “Cyber Sunday”. Goldust and Randy Orton were announced as the other three special guest referees.

Goldust who is played by Dustin Rhodes (who is Dusty Rhodes real life son) is also making another big return to WWE.

Look like WWE is set to form another big stable and that is the stable called Priceless which includes members Ted Dibiases Jr., Cody Rhodes, and Manu. Since Dusty Rhodes is Cody Rhodes real life brother, it is possible that Goldust could join the Priceless stable. There is also a possibility that Randy Orton may join Priceless in the future as well.

The word “stable” is another wrestling term which means that wrestlers forming 3 or more people into a group…other stables in the wrestling world includes the n-W-o, D-Generation X, The Four Horsemen, and Evolution. Look like Priceless is going to be WWE’s next big stable in the works.

As for Stone Cold’s return, who is he going to feud with? Vince McMahon is no longer around and Stone Cold has been known to be feuding with McMahon. Stone Cold to feud with new RAW GM Mike Adamle? It’s possible.

It’s going to be great to see Stone Cold back. He is needed back in the WWE pretty badily, all the big iconic superstars (like the Rock, Mick Foley, Hogan, etc.) are gone and we need the veterans back.

Report: Will Rey Mysterio get unmasked tonight at “No Mercy”?

Tonight is the WWE ppv “No Mercy” which I will watch. There is a controversial match on tonight which is Kane vs. Rey Mysterio in a “mask match”, if Rey Mysterio loses, he will be forced to be unmasked for good.

I am predicting it will happen, Rey will get unmasked tonight.

Other matches happening tonight:

Jericho vs. HBK in a Ladder match for World Heavyweight Champ (HBK will win)

Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy for the WWE Champ (Triple H will win of course)

Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy for the ECW Champ (Mark Henry will win it back)

Batista vs. JBL (JBL will win this)

Big Show vs. Undertaker (Undertaker will win)

Glamazon Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle for Women’s title (the Glamazon will win)

I look forward to seeing Rey Mysterio vs. Kane the most tonight. Hope tonight’s ppv will be good.

Report: WWE SMACKDOWN returns to Albany, N.Y. – Nov. 25th

The World Wrestling Entertainment will bring Friday Night “Smackdown” to Albany, N.Y. at the Times Union Center on November 25th, that is on a Tuesday night of a videotaping that the show will be aired on TV Friday night. Smackdown has been moved to MyNetworkTV station.

Tickets go on sale for Smackdown this Saturday Oct. 4th. Go to ticketmaster.com for ticket information.

See current superstars like Triple H, The Undertaker, Edge, MVP, The Big Show, The Great Khali, Carlito, etc. duke it out in Albany, N.Y.

Top 5 Faces in the WWE…

A while back I made a post about the top 5 current heels (badguys) in the WWE, in this topic, I’m going to post who are the best “faces” in the WWE are. A “face” is a wrestling term that is another word for a “good guy”, a “hero” type of wrestler. As much as I enjoy seeing the heels more than the good guys, I like some of the good guys too.

Sorry, I am not even going to put John Cena in this list ’cause I don’t even like John Cena. John Cena is one of the most overrated superstars and I’m sick of seeing him all the time. John Cena is gone for now, but I know he will be back soon like he always returns early.

My top 5 current faces in the WWE are:

Triple H

(Long time Triple H fan, whether he is a good guy or a bad guy in WWE, he will always be a good guy, because fans cheer for him no matter what he is, that’s because Triple H rules…one of my favorite performers)

Shawn Michaels HBK

(I’ve been a Shawn Michaels fan for years and still am to this day…always been entertaining to see on TV)

Rey Mysterio

(Excellent performer, there is something about this guy that makes me look forward to seeing him on screen everytime)

The Undertaker

(I’ve always loved this character. Mark Calloway is such an amazing performer, not that great of a wrestler but he does put on some of the most amazing matches though)

Dave Batista

(The Animal has always been my favorite. Good mic worker and good brawler type of wrestler. Dave is the man!)

Report: Metallica’s “All Nightmare Long” is the theme song for WWE “No Mercy” ppv…

WWE has announced they will use the new Metallica song “All Nightmare Long” as the official theme song for the next WWE pay per view “No Mercy”. This will be good promotion for both Metallica and WWE, which is why the two agreed to work with each other.

Metallica’s “Death Magnetic” is in Best Buy stores every where exclusively today.

I think “All Nightmare Long” is one of the best songs on the disc other than “The Judas Kiss” being one of their best songs as well. The entire album is great. The best work the band has done in years. “Death Magnetic” doesn’t top “Master of Puppets”, but “Death Magnetic” is definitely better than the “Black Album” I would say.
