Thoughts on CM Punk losing for 2nd time in UFC… is he done??? It’s pretty likely that he is…

I didn’t watch UFC 225 last night and I’m glad I didn’t. I love CM Punk and all, but I had a bad feeling he was going to lose for the second time in UFC. It didn’t turn out to be a very good fight at all so I’m glad I didn’t waste my money on it. Punk got beat pretty bad and was left in a bloody mess as you can see.

CM Punk releases statement on UFC 225 loss to Mike Jackson

Is Punk done in the UFC and MMA altogether? According to Dana White himself, he said he is but Punk himself hasn’t responded to Dana yet. You can tell that Punk has passion for MMA and loves it. He wants to continue and keep at it despite losing and not being very good. He does have a lot of balls for wanting to give MMA a try, though. Dana may say Punk is done but looks like Punk wants to keep going. In my opinion, Dana shouldn’t be so quick in ending his career after two losses. I think Dana should give him another chance and give him a third fight.

Punk likes it and you can tell that he does. If it turns out that Punk will be done with UFC and MMA, what’s next? A return to professional wrestling like in WWE? I doubt it ’cause Punk clearly said already that he’s done with WWE and wrestling altogether. If he’s completely done with UFC/WWE then I don’t know what he’ll do next. We’ll have to wait and see. Maybe he will return to WWE, who knows? Anything is possible.

I still love watching MMA, though. I just don’t watch it that much anymore ’cause their ppvs are overpriced.

So how long CM Punk’s future in UFC/MMA would last???

So last night on ppv, I couldn’t resist watching “UFC 203” ’cause like most UFC and WWE fans, I too was curious on how CM Punk was gonna do in his first MMA caged fight. I just had to see it for myself, ya know? A lot of people were wondering whether CM Punk was gonna do bad or do good but as expected CM Punk did pretty badly. Which is expected since CM Punk doesn’t have much of an martial arts and MMA background. CM Punk is a professional wrestler. He’s got a huge background in wrestling instead so it was expected that Punk wouldn’t do well against Mickey Gall. The fight last night was an easy win for Mickey Gall. Gall beat Punk in a bloody mess and Gall wouldn’t let Punk get a chance to do anything either. Punk tried his best to fight back and defend himself but Gall was too tough. It was a pretty good fight, though ’cause I was impressed with Mickey Gall.

After the fight got over with, I gained even more respect for CM Punk. That guy has been my favorite wrestler for years. Love Punk or hate him, what that guy did was pretty ballsy. He really was brave and courageous to do what he did last night.

I loved Punk’s speech after the fight ’cause he said that life is about getting knocked down and getting back up. He also said you must believe in yourself. He said that if you want to go after your dreams, you can’t listen to anybody and go for it. Which is good advice and I’ve had that attitude for a long time now. Going after what I want and not giving a shit what anyone thinks.

So what is Punk’s future gonna be like in MMA? Will his MMA career be a success or will it be short? Who knows. We’ll have to wait and see. I’m pretty sure Dana White will give Punk another chance so we’ll see how Punk does on his next fight. Keep in mind, Brock Lesnar lost his first UFC fight to Frank Mir but came out on top after so the same could happen to Punk.

It was a pretty good ppv though. I thought the best fights of the night last night were Jessica Andrade vs. Joanne Calderwood, CM Punk vs. Mickey Gall and Stipe Miocic vs. Alistair Overeem. The other two fights RIvera vs. Faber and Browne vs. Werdum were pretty boring as fuck, though.

I wish CM Punk the best of luck in his MMA career. He’s gonna have to learn that this isn’t WWE and MMA is a whole different thing.

Former WWE star, CM Punk, announced that he have just joined the UFC…

There have been a lot of drama and controversy over CM Punk’s sudden departure over the WWE. What happened was back in the Royal Rumble ppv in January earlier this year, Punk was the first man to enter the 30 rumble matchup and he lasted until the final four at the end… Punk got eliminated and lost the Rumble match. Punk didn’t appear on RAW the next day. There have been a lot of mystery surrounding Punk’s departure until Punk finally revealed why he disappeared from WWE all of a sudden. He went on a podcast show and claimed he was “fired” on his wedding day by Vince McMahon. Just not too long ago, Vince McMahon went on Stone Cold’s podcast show and admitted that it’s true that Vince fired Punk on his wedding day and apologized to him.

It’s sad that CM Punk is gone from the WWE. Sad of what went down between him and Vince. Like most wrestling fans, I love CM Punk too. He’s been my favorite wrestler and performer for a long time. I stopped watching WWE ever since he left last year.

In the video above is CM Punk himself announcing that he has signed with the UFC full time and he will make his MMA debut in 2015.

What do you think? Do you think Punk has what it takes to fight in the Octagon? UFC is real fighting and pro wrestling isn’t. Doing a little reading on Punk, he never had any MMA experience. Punk spent most of his life on pro wrestling. We’ll have to wait to see how Punk will do in his first MMA fight.

Since it looks like that Punk signed a full time contract in the UFC, it looks like we won’t be seeing Punk back in the WWE anytime soon which is sad. Punk is a great performer and wrestler. He’s also one of the best on the mic as he delivers the best promos in wrestling.

I wish him good luck in his new UFC career.

Cool Video: Mick Foley always had great mic skills in wrestling…

Last night, WWE “RAW” was in Albany at the Times Union Center. I didn’t go, but after seeing the CM Punk and Mick Foley promo, made me wish I was there. I’ve been following Foley’s wrestling career for years. Everything from his earlier days of WWE, his WCW/ECW career, TNA, and even his days in Japan. While Foley’s promo last night was really good, I enjoyed it, he had even more amazing promos in his past. Thing is, with a whole new world of young wrestling fans, I’m positive they don’t know much about Mick Foley. I’m such a huge fan of Foley. What he did in his past, his hardcore wrestling days were amazing stuff. Foley does have a great speaking voice, and he’s an intelligent guy as well! Again last night’s promo with Foley was good but I’ve seen better. Foley is a legend and he needs in the WWE Hall of Fame, already!

Thought: Why this is a perfect time to turn John Cena heel…

Everyone wants John Cena to turn heel but WWE doesn’t want him the wrestler bad guy. Why? Because WWE is afraid they may lose ratings and they don’t want to lose the children who are fans of the wrestler. Plus, WWE is afraid they will lose merchandise sales if they turn him heel.

Honestly, I don’t think WWE should worry about that stuff, because turning Cena heel is exactly what the WWE needs right now. The fans hate him enough. He gets booed heavily at almost every WWE live show. I think it’s a perfect time for the switch. The only fans he has are children anyway. It’s mostly the adult wrestling fans who can’t stand the guy.

Turning Cena heel would make the business a lot better. How? It will certainly get people scratching their heads and tuning into RAW out of curiosity that Cena is the bad guy. I don’t think Cena will lose ratings or merchandise sales either. I mean, when the Nexus group were around, they were considered bad guys but their T-shirt merchandise sales were pretty high. People were buying Nexus shirts even though they were heels. The same will happen with Cena.

With Cena being the heel, instead of having bright colored shirts, hats and wrist bands… Cena would probably make the switch to dark colored hats, shirts, and wrist bands. In order to be heel, I think he’ll need to wear mostly black clothing.

Cena was heel before. He was heel when he first started in WWE way back. I think he is a better actor at being a heel than he is as a babyface superhero.

I can see a heel Cena bullying young children at ringside, saying, “I’m not your hero anymore”. Turning Cena heel would put an interesting twist to his feud against CM Punk and the Rock.

The question is will we ever see Cena turn heel? I certainly hope so someday. Hopefully before Wrestlemania-28, we get a Cena heel turn. I want him to be a heel like everyone else ’cause his modern day Hulk Hogan gimmick is getting old and boring already.

WWE RAW is getting really good again. I’ve been enjoying it lately probably because of CM Punk, he’s a phenomenal performer and one of the bests.

Thought: Is WWE borrowing storylines from TNA’s “Impact Wrestling”????

Last night on RAW, it ended with Vince McMahon being fired as WWE CEO/Chairman by the board of directors, announced by Triple H. Last night, Vince came out in the ring to address CM Punk’s winning of the WWE Championship belt from the “Money In the Bank” PPV match he had against John Cena. Well, CM punk won the match and became the new WWE Champion. However, CM Punk left the WWE with the championship belt.

Last year, Dixie Carter who is boss of TNA’s “Impact Wrestling” got fired by the board of directors when Hogan/Bischoff announced it. Then Hogan/Bischoff are now taking over TNA as owners. It seems that WWE is doing the same thing now.

Now that Vince is no longer CEO/Chairman, Triple H is Vince’s replacement.

There’s a lot of people believing all of this is real, because WWE is doing a good job making it seem like it was real with all the “kayfabe” thrown in.

I don’t think Vince McMahon is really fired. It’s a storyline. Vince is owner of WWE in real life and the only way for him to leave is to sell the company. So there’s no way he could be fired. TNA “Impact Wrestling” have been stealing storylines from WWE in the past, so maybe this is WWE’s payback at TNA?

WWE to bring their classic Ice Cream Bars back???

Last night on RAW, CM Punk delivered another classic promo in the ring once again. CM Punk is on fire the last couple of weeks. His performing in the ring is getting so good. While the current direction of the PG rating sucks, CM Punk is the best thing going right now.

Last night’s RAW, there was a first ever contract negotiation between him and Mr. McMahon in the ring last night. Story wise, McMahon wanted to bring back CM Punk full time so in order to bring back CM Punk (he was going to leave WWE with the WWE Championship belt), Punk added some extra provisions to his contract. Punk mentioned the provisions that he wanted to be in the main event at Wrestlemania, star in the movie, “The Chaperone 2” and he wanted his own merchandise. Best of all, he mentioned to McMahon that he wanted to bring back the classic WWE Ice Cream Bars.

Punk said from last night:

“(Provision) Number two, I want my face to be on everything,” Punk said to McMahon. “I want my face on the Titantron. I want my face on these turnbuckles. I want cups, posters, spoons, knives, forks, shoes, socks, I want everything with my face on it. Number one thing being I want you to bring back the WWE Ice Cream Bars.”

All this come in a rage with CM Punk because he hated seeing John Cena on everything in WWE.When CM Punk mentioned “WWE Ice Cream Bars”, the WWE crowd went wild and they gave CM Punk a standing ovation for that even though he is meant to be a heel.

So is this a hint that WWE could be bringing back the classic Ice Cream bars they use to sell at WWE live events and grocery stores? I think the Ice Cream Bars deserve to come back because with the PG rating and WWE is now popular with children, it’s a big chance that Ice Cream Bars could sell really good. Plus, they deserve to comeback so they can have the current Superstars on the ice cream bars.

While I don’t like John Cena like most people, I am liking this feud with CM Punk vs. Cena. Finally a good feud for Cena that is not boring. I’ll look for the video in youtube from last night’s segment.
