Report: Linda Hamilton joins “Chuck” for fourth season, she will play Chuck’s Mom…

Well, SDCC continues to get even crazier! Today some shocking news has been revealed by “Chuck” producer Josh Schwartz, that Linda Hamilton will be joining the cast of “Chuck” for the fourth season. She will be playing Chuck’s mom throughout most of the season. Sadly, Linda Hamilton herself wasn’t at SDCC but this is good news that Linda is returning to acting, as it seems she doesn’t act much these days.

Report: Steve Carell maybe leaving “The Office” but B.J. Novak is staying!!!

Well, look like NBC plans to keep going with “The Office” even when Steve Carell leaves ’cause they’re going to keep going with another few seasons. B.J. Novak just signed a contract to stay with the show for the next two seasons. The deal covers both as actor and writer/producer.

Variety Reports:

Hmmmmmm, when Michael Scott quits the company on the show, there will indeed be a new boss. NBC can try and go on with the show without Steve Carell, but the ratings will tank without Steve, I’m 100% sure of it!!!!

Oh well. Guess I’ll make my prediction for the boss replacement of, “The Office”. Who will be Michael’s replacement?

I think the new boss will be female, and it might be either Pam or Kelly.

Report: Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton finally gets noticed with their acting talent! FNL stars gets Emmy nominations!

Congrat s to Kyle and Connie, it’s about time too! Both have acting talent and they prove it by getting Emmy nominations. “Friday Night Lights” is my favorite show and I saw the acting talent in both Kyle and Connie, from the very beggining.

See the Emmy nominations here:

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/17689/the-2010-emmy-nominations

Only problem is though, I don’t think Kyle is gonna win. Since Michael C. Hall is nominated for “Dexter” along with him, Michael would get it instead.

Connie might have a good chance in winning.

BREAKING NEWS: Steve Carell confirms he’s leaving “The Office” after season 7 is over…

Steve Carell, the leading star of the hit NBC series, “The Office” confirms he’s leaving the show and Season 7 will be his last.

More on it here:

http://goldderby.latimes.com/awards_goldderby/images/2008/07/30/steve_carell_4.jpg

Steve claims he wants to spend more time with his family, but I really think he wants to move on to movies full time. This guy’s been coming out with new movie roles like crazy.

Steve is phenomenal, I really like the guy.

If Steve is leaving, then NBC may as well cancel the show for good ’cause I can’t see anybody replacing Michael Scott as the new boss for the job. I’m sure people would like to see Jim Halpert or Dwight Schrute take over as boss on the show but it just wouldn’t work since Steve created a legacy. The ratings would tank without Steve.

Thought: Jay Leno without Kevin Eubanks is different…

Although I don’t like Jay Leno, I still kind of watch before Jimmy Fallon comes on. I must say, the “Tonight Show” is no longer, the “Tonight Show” without Kevin Eubanks as the sidekick. The new guy is just crap. The “Tonight Show” band has all new members. I feel that the ratings will go down without Kevin. Will NBC get rid of Jay Leno for low ratings? No…because Jay is too valuable to NBC that he can’t get fired, no matter the situation. I just don’t get, the “Tonight Show” feeling with Kevin not there. I’m sure you know what I mean.

What would David Letterman be like without Paul Shaffer? What would Jimmy Fallon be like without the Roots?

I’ll say that Jay Leno is a lot more boring without Kevin. I’m sure many people would actually agree with me on this topic.

I didn’t watch the “Lost” finale…

“Lost” was the most talked about TV show last night because of the finale. I understand the show’s popularity but I haven’t seen a single episode. So I didn’t bother watching the finale. I watched “Celebrity Apprentice” finale instead.

Like I always say, I don’t watch much TV.

Only shows I watch on TV are: “Friday Night Lights”, “WWE RAW”, “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” and CNN/MSNBC politics news. Sometimes sports like UFC, professional boxing, golf, and NFL football.

I’m not such a big TV couch potato. I only watch TV at night, just to have something to fall asleep over. I spend most of my time playing guitar, video games and working out. I’ll watch a few movies on DVD on the weekends. Yep, I’m a pretty boring person. I spend a lot of time working out as a way to go outside more and be more active.

Although, “Lost” is no longer on the air, there is another JJ Abrams TV series coming to NBC called, “Undercovers” which I will probably watch.

Bret Michaels is Celebrity Apprentice…

It was no surprise to me that Bret Michaels was going to be the winner of this year’s “Celebrity Apprentice”. I think everyone knew it was going to happen since the very first episode. Yes, I watched this year’s season of “Celebrity Apprentice” as I did last year. I like the show. It’s interesting and very comical. I just watch it for laughs. The show is obviously scripted. I’m sure the winners are already planned out before the show goes on the air.

Cool Video: Phish performs the Rolling Stones hit, “Loving Cup” on Jimmy Fallon last night…

Phish performed on TV for the first time in many years. Here they are performing the Rolling Stones classic, “Loving Cup”  in celebration of the band’s “Exile on Main St.” album. Keith Richards was even there to introduce the band to the stage. How cool is that?

See the great performance here:

Now you see how talented Phish really is when they play live. Phish are amazing live performers, I’ve seen them live in concert at least a couple of times. I love Phish and plan on seeing them again this summer at SPAC hopefully.

5 Reasons to like “Friday Night Lights”…

So “Friday Night Lights” is finally back. The premiere of Season 4 aired last Friday over the weekend and I watched it very good episode. Why do I love the show so much? Well there are 5 reasons….

  1. Kyle Chandler is a great actor. Kyle Chandler who plays Coach Eric Taylor can be very entertaining ’cause he has a really short fuse and has a temper tantrum. The reason he acts this way on the show ’cause it’s his way of trying to get the players on the team more motivated in football, plus all Eric cares about is his team winning games like most sports coaches do. So he uses his temper to get players all fired up and ready for the game. This is an entertaining character and it’s one reason why I watch it. Whenever “Friday Night Lights” gets canned for good in the future, I have a feeling that Kyle Chandler will become a huge movie star in the future. He already had a few pretty big roles in Hollywood movies such as Peter Jackson’s “King Kong” remake and he had a role in, “The Day The Earth Stood Still” remake as well.
  2. Taylor Kitsch as Tim Riggins. He’s another entertaining character of the series. Taylor Kitsch is already a Hollywood actor before this show. Tim Riggins is a flaky kind of character who is an alcoholic and plays a loser type of character on the show. This is one reason that makes the show good.
  3. Minka Kelly as Lyla Garrity. Another reason to like this show is the gorgeous and sexy, Minka Kelly. Damn, she’s one fine looking chick.
  4. Good writing. The scripts of the episodes is what keeps the show going and what keeps people watching. The show has really good writing. Most shows on TV has bad writing, but “FNL”, the writing almost seems like a movie script, rather than a TV show.
  5. It feels like old school primetime drama. A show like this can make you feel like watching “The Wonder Years” or “Doogie Howser”. It almost feels like the 80’s of drama TV all over again. “FNL” is the real deal.

Glad the show is finally back.

Report: Steve Carell might leave “The Office” next year…

Steve Carell, star of “The Office” dropped a shocking announcement that he might leave the show next year.

Read more on the story here:

http://popwatch.ew.com/2010/04/28/steve-carell-might-leave-the-office/

“Office” fans like myself might be dissapointed, but hey, Steve has a HUGE movie career up ahead of him. Maybe that’s why he wants to quit ’cause he finally decided he wants to be a full time movie star now.

While he was still playing in “The Office”, Steve did several movies playing the leading roles  which were very successful and big hits in the box office. Movies such as “The 40 Year Old Virgin”, “Get Smart”, “Date Night”, “Little Miss Sunshine”, etc. That’s probably what he wants to do, move on to do movies.

A lot of big movie stars today get their start from TV shows like Tom Hanks (Bossom Buddies), Robin Williams (Mork & Mindy), Adam Sandler (SNL), the list can go on. Steve is on his way there.

“The Office” is my favorite TV show too, but I’m actually proud of him that he’s leaving. He’s a phenomenal actor, always liked him. This guy will win an Oscar one day whenever he picks the right role in the future.
