US switching sides on “War On Terror”??? Is the US government supporting Al-qaeda??? Seems that way…

This article is explaining that the reason the Benghazi Sept. 11, 2012 attacks happened ’cause it all started when the Obama administration have been delivering $500 million dollars worth of weapons to Al-qaeda.

Read the full article here:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2610598/Group-US-switched-sides-War-Terror-facilitating-500-MILLION-weapons-deliveries-Libyan-al-Qaeda-militias-leading-Benghazi-attack.html

The select committee also tried to get a full fledged investigation in the House going and they were about ready to get to it but House Speaker, John Boehner blocked it which led everybody to believe that Boehner is protecting the Obama administration and helping to cover for them too. Was Boehner helping the attacks? I’d say absolutely. All of them were in on it. Not just Obama and Hillary. They had a whole team to make the Benghazi attack happen: Biden, Jay Carney, Susan Rice, Harry Reid, etc.

After the Bundy Ranch invasion you can easily compare that with the Benghazi attack.

I tried to warn y’all that Obama have been supporting terrorism and y’all didn’t listen to me. Obama made all of these claims over the years that he was going to put Al-qaeda to an end and destroy ’em all but nope. Turns out, he’s been supporting them instead and helping them. Now Al-qaeda is bigger, stronger and more powerful thanks to Obama.

Obama is obsessed with arming our enemies and he have been doing that for a long time now. Benghazi, Operation: F&F and the arming of Syrian rebels and Egyptians.

He wants to release illegal aliens who are criminals and give them a US citizenship.

You should all be scared of this man in the White House but nope as ignorant as you are, you’ll still see him as harmless and innocent. I know this won’t be good enough to show you how evil Obama really is.

Electric lead guitar playing…

I know I’ve been posting quite a bit today ’cause I had a lot to say but I think this will be my final post for the night.

Earlier this afternoon I decided to finally re-string my hollow-body electric guitar and then re-tuned it. Plugged my electric into my amp and I’ve been noodling around. Just playing electric riffs and some leads.

Ya know, I think I am capable of playing good guitar solos that will be pretty face-melting. I know the scales, the techniques and all that stuff but the only things I need to practice and work on are the phrasing and ear training. In lead guitar, you don’t even need to be all technical about it. You don’t need to learn over 20 scales. All you need is just a few scales… the basic ones like the Minor/Major Pentatonic, The Blues Minor/Major Pentatonic, the Major Scale, and the Modes. I already know most of that stuff but I still have a lot of learning to do on the Modes which is getting worked on.

One thing I’m admittedly not very good at yet is the improvisation and ear training but I’m working on that too and practicing really hard. Once I improve my music theory knowledge and improvisation skills… pretty soon… you’ll hear me do some face-melting guitar playing that other musicians (and hopefully non-musicians) will enjoy.

I believe I’m pretty good at rhythm guitar and riffs but lead guitar I wanna get improved on and that’s what I’m most focused on. I love guitar solos and long jams. That’s the kind of stuff I prefer to listen to and that’s the kind of stuff you’ll hear if I ever get my own band going. I love listening to music where the band plays a song and it extends into a long jam. That probably explains my obsession with music artists such as Led Zep, Hendrix, Neil Young, The Allman Brothers, and Joe Satriani.

I like to write long songs between 7 – 10 minutes sometimes ’cause I can’t help it. I get that by listening to those artists above. I try to write short songs but I can’t help writing the long ones. That’s how I always play. It’s amazing what music does to ya. If you’re the type of musician who plans ahead of how long a song should be… then you’re doing it wrong. You should never really be able to tell how long a song is. A song stops when it wants to and that’s the end of it, ya know what I mean?

Happy birthday, Jack Nicholson!!!

Today is Jack Nicholson’s 77th birthday.

While “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” is one of the best roles he has ever played (in my opinion), he has starred in other great roles. “Cuckoo’s Nest” is one of my favorite films of all time. That film is in my top 10 really. I can watch that film over and over — never get tired of it.

Some of my other favorite roles Jack has been in are “Chinatown”, “Easy Rider”, “The Two Jakes”, “The Witches of Eastwick”, “Wolf”, “Hoffa”, “The Pledge”, “The Departed” and of course, the first “Batman” movie where he played the Joker. I liked his role in “Anger Management” too.

Jack obviously slowed down in acting. He doesn’t star in movies much anymore. Why did he slowed down? It’s not that he’s retired. I’m sure he’ll be acting in films ’til he’s dead… he doesn’t play in movies much anymore ’cause he doesn’t have to. The man is loaded so he doesn’t need to work if he doesn’t want to.

He is one of my favorite actors, though. He has been a part of everyone’s lives, including mine so thanks Jack. Everyone have seen his movies in the theater, on DVD and on the TV. One thing he is good at is picking films that we can watch over and over again. I don’t think any other actor in Hollywood have done that??? He sure knows how to pick the good stuff, that’s for sure. I love how he is careful at choosing his films.

Happy birthday, Jack. I’m sure he’s celebrating it good with his family in Hollywood.

Spielberg and Hanks to re-team for fourth film together…

Look like Spielberg finally found his next directorial project since his 2012 film, “Lincoln”. Spielberg will re-team with Tom Hanks for the fourth time. This will be a thriller set during the Cold War and will be based on the true story of James Donovan. The other three films Spielberg/Hanks worked together for was obviously: “Saving Private Ryan”, “Catch Me If You Can” and “The Terminal”.

Look like Spielberg is staying away from films for children and family. Except that his upcoming planned sci-fi film, “Robopocalypse” maybe aimed at children?

I say no to Leo Dicaprio starring and Danny Boyle directing, “Steve Jobs” biopic…

Since David Fincher and Christian Bale bailed out of the “Steve Jobs” biopic… Sony is already in search of a replacement for both of them. Sony is in early talks with “Slumdog Millionaire”  and “127 Hours” director Danny Boyle to helm the “Jobs” movie and Sony is eye’ing Leo Dicaprio to star as Jobs for the film.

http://variety.com/2014/film/news/sony-eyes-danny-boyle-to-direct-jobs-1201160356/

It seems that Sony is desperate for an Oscar award winning film here. If these two sign on Danny and Leo, I’ll no longer be interested.

Why not get Ashton Kutcher for Steve Jobs again? I just saw Kutcher’s version of the “Jobs” movie and it turned out surprisingly good. Kutcher’s version of “Jobs” was surprisingly “accurate” on Jobs life and career. Also, Kutcher nailed the Jobs role pretty well. Kutcher’s version of “Jobs” is available for Netflix streaming so you should check it out yourself. Kutcher is the only actor who is able to match Jobs pretty well. I’m sure Kutcher would be up for this if Sony would ask him. I used to never be a fan of Ashton Kutcher but he’s been winning over my respect lately.

As for my choice on who to direct the Aaron Sorkin scripted, “Jobs” movie… I’d say the guy who directed “American Hustle”, David O Russell.

Avoid negative people, surround yourself with good ones…

10302353_620751321350019_5267325782780025602_n

Another good facebook meme worth posting. Like I said before, I seem to attract a lot of negative people and haters. Avoiding them is the best way to go. Why is it that you attract a lot of negative people and haters? Probably because they know you’re a talented person, smart, and a good person. They just want to see you fail at life. I think that’s pretty much it. Whatever you do in life, and if you’re a successful person… if you got all kinds of negative people coming after you… they are probably jealous. I’m sure you’re good at something whether you play music, an artist, carpenter, writer or whatever hobby you have… people are gonna attack you out of jealousy ’cause of your talent. The same thing with successful people in life. If you have a good family and good job and all that stuff… people will still attack you out of jealousy. People will be jealous of you of being happy and staying strong. Don’t let that stuff get to you.

Ignore negative people. When people treat you like garbage for no reason, pretend they’re dead. Act like they don’t exist to you. It works for me all the time. I used to defend myself from negative people but it’s pointless ’cause you’ll never win. If you have heated conflicts and drama with your friends and even your own family members… lose contact with them immediately. Get negative people out of your life.

In facebook, you see so many people complaining and ranting about negative people in their lives and that isn’t gonna make things better for you if you keep defending yourself from negative people.

Avoid the negative people and surround yourself with the good ones. That’s what I do. Surround yourself with people who do care about you and have your back and loyal support, 100%.

When I talk about this stuff, I don’t just do it for myself… I do it to try and help others… thanks to the Ultimate Warrior for this inspiration.

You don’t need to get yourself involved in drama of any kind. Like Warrior says life matters. Make the best of it in life.

Only support the people who love and respect you in return. Believe me, I’ve got plenty of kind people who have had my back throughout the years. Don’t focus on the negatives and enjoy life.

Richard Donner confirms Spielberg wrote story for “Goonies II”…

It appears that Steven Spielberg is still involved with the “Goonies” ’cause he wants the sequel to happen just as much as the rest of us. Spielberg came up with the idea of the first movie and he’ll do the same with the sequel. As long as Spielberg is still involved… I’m all for it.

I don’t like the plot idea where the Goonies have kids now and they go on a new adventure. Here we go again with the passing the torch to younger kids. I would rather have the Goonies as full grown adults going on a new adventure together, that would make it more interesting. Having the full grown “Goonies” go on a new adventure with the Fratelli brothers getting their revenge on them is a good plot idea to me.

I can see the sequel having more booby traps similar to the last one except the booby traps will be a little different and more exciting.

Of course, with today’s technology in movie making, you can betcha this movie will be probably be filmed in 3-D and will probably have tons of CGI.

It looks like Richard Donner is committed to moving forward to this.

If you want more women, get yourself a six pack…

It should be no secret that women love men with six pack abs. If you want to attract more women, getting a six pack is recommended. While a lot of men are into bodybuilding, fitness… a lot of them either struggle to get a six pack or they just don’t care to get it. Why? Getting six pack abs is probably the easiest thing in the world. All it takes is to lower the bodyfat that’s covering it. The key to lowering bodyfat are two things: 1) eating clean 2) doing plenty of cardio (whether biking, walking, jogging, running, etc.). Doing crunches and planks are a waste of time — I don’t do that stuff anymore. I keep my bodyfat low by eating the best I can (still need to get better at nutrition but I eat mostly clean) and I do plenty of biking and sometimes jogging. Avoid sugars, fatty foods. Eat proteins and more vegetables. Drink a lot of water and hot green tea. Hot green tea will help lower the bodyfat. I drink a hot cup of green tea every morning.

I try to recommend guys who work out get a six pack but some of them just don’t care to like I said. It’s crazy, ya know?

Guys should get a six pack. When you do, you’ll get a great response from people around you. You would even attract the hot looking ladies!!!

I know women don’t necessarily like men with gigantic muscles but they do love six pack abs on the guys, though.

I’ve gotten more responses from mostly women on my physique like crazy and it’s such a cool feeling, ya know? I’m not afraid to go shirtless anymore and made me more confident. The positive feedback gets me motivated to keep going.

I should have no problem getting women at all… I just gotta stop being a shy coward and start talking to women more. I’m working on my confidence around women as you can see and my shyness around them is starting to go away.

Women like guys that can take care of themselves.

A lot of guys neglect the six pack but I didn’t. It feels great to have it. It really does. Women are attracted to six pack abs for whatever reason. Probably “hot sex” is a huge part of it, I would think. I can’t think of no other reason.

There are some guys who want the six pack but they struggle so long to get it. Probably because they think eating and drinking whatever they want and doing crunches/planks is gonna do it for them but it won’t. Eating clean and cardio is key. That’s the secret. A lot of guys in the gym need to quit the alcohol. Sorry but weightlifting and drinking don’t mix. There are a lot of guys that go to the gym but are still obsessed with the drinking. If they want a six pack, they have to cut the alcohol. Alcohol continues to make them fat sorry but that’s the fuckin’ truth, ya know?

It’s pretty awesome that women notice your six pack. Again, I’d recommend it. More women will be flirtin’ with ya and they would probably wanna date you when they don’t want to admit it. The six pack is a good chick magnet for sure!!!

In defense of incest in “Game of Thrones”…

I haven’t been watching “Game of Thrones – Season 4” on HBO well because I don’t have HBO. I had to get rid of it. I still love Game of Thrones books and the TV show, though and will watch “Season 4” when it releases on DVD.

The thing is, George R.R. Martin and HBO are under fire ’cause of their heavy use of “incest” rape from last Sunday’s episode. I won’t reveal any big spoilers, though, at least I try not to but I gotta get this off my chest.

There’s a lot of internet controversy over this. The “incest” obsession is upsetting a lot of fans. It’s upsetting a lot of people who read the books.

My thoughts? The “Game of Thrones” TV show is no stranger to controversy but this time they take controversy to extremes. I think using incest is a pretty good idea. In the real world, “incest” is wrong but in Westeros, in George’s mind, incest is alright in that world. There’s no law in incest in Westeros, I believe. Why are so many people surprised of the “incest” when there were already incest scenes in the beginning of Season 1??? Why is there “incest” in “Game of Thrones”? Does George have a fascination with it?

I love how “Game of Thrones” upsets people with dark stuff. First the Red Wedding and now this. If this dark and controversial stuff wasn’t in the books, then people wouldn’t be interested. That’s how I got interested in “Game of Thrones”. I loved the unpredictability and the shock-value through the stories.

I know the TV show is way different than the books but after thinking about it a while… it’s the right thing to do. I used to believe they should “tone” it down with the obsessive sex scenes but after thinking about it a while, I have no problem with the sex scenes and nudity all over it now. This stuff needs to be in there or else the show wouldn’t work. This is why the show is the highest rated TV show ever. The show is pretty addictive.

People want to see this stuff. Sex and controversy sells. That’s all there is to it.

I wish I was watching “Season 4” but again, don’t have HBO so I’ll wait for DVD release. Sounds like a good season so far from what I’m reading. I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan. Love the books and the TV show. I plan on re-watching the first three seasons.

Why bands and musicians shouldn’t worry about success in music or fame…

There are too many bands and musicians wanting to get big as possible and a lot of them want fame in this day and age of local music. Back in the day, I could have sworn that local musicians “used” to never care about fame. They just play for the love of it; however, ever since those reality TV shows such as “American Idol”, “America’s Got Talent”, “The Voice”, “X-Factor”, etc. etc. blah blah blah got so huge in the mainstream… I’ve noticed that local musicians have changed their view about how they look at music. A lot of bands deny that they want fame and fortune in their career but you know that’s a flat-out lie. You can tell a lot of bands & artists are desperate for fame ’cause of the way they market themselves in social networking. A lot of local bands promote themselves like they’re on a major label when they’re not really. Honestly, I always found this quite sad.

The music industry isn’t the same anymore. It’s not like it used to be. Most bands & artists in the major label industry today are mostly manufactured. Most of today’s recordings is usually done by auto-tune in the studio. There’s a lot of lip-syncing and fake-playing by artists on stage in this day and age of the industry.

I wouldn’t want fame the way it is going now. That is something I would never be able to handle.

In fame, it’s not always going to be positive and happy. You’ll through a lot of ups and downs. The major label industry is a pretty corrupt industry. You’re gonna get controlled by these guys. The major labels can change your music and they’ll tell you how to write songs that would be considered for “mainstream” singles. Doing a lot of research, I heard the major label execs would send artists in a meeting room and tell you how to write songs the way they want it. It’s usually the labels that picks songs for the album too.

The indie label industry is no different. I hear they are even more controlling and demanding. Success and fame is pointless.

Bands shouldn’t worry about becoming big and hoping to become superstars. They should just focus on playing the music and that’s the end of it.

I wouldn’t want to live that rich and famous lifestyle. That couldn’t be me. I can’t see myself living in a huge mansion and being married to a woman with plastic surgery and all that stuff. Do you want to live in a world full gossip, tabloids, rumors? Fame has sent rock stars in a negative light. I mean look at all the musicians who have died of drugs at such a young age. Fame could send ya in a depression ’cause money will do that. Fame could destroy your life if you aren’t careful.

I really hate the way national fame is today.

As far as being big and successful locally goes… that’s all fine and good. Nothing wrong with that but bands shouldn’t care about that either. If a lot of people enjoy my music, great. If a lot of people don’t. That’s great too! I just want to play music and enjoy it. Being unsigned is great. More freedom. You can be your own boss and create art how you want to.

When local bands obsess with wanting fame, I call them “fame chasers” ’cause that’s exactly what they are. When a local band that I love does get signed a major deal, I’m probably no longer gonna be interested with them. Why? Because I’m not a big fan of commercial music. I’ll believe that once a band have signed a record deal, they sold out. I guess that’s exactly what happened toward my feelings against Phantogram. I used to like them but once they got big, they’re no longer interesting. Look at what the indie label have done to them. Their recent music videos are crazy and that’s probably what turned me off about them.

I like where I am. Being unsigned is great. I just wanna write songs and share it.

You never worry about getting big. Just do your thing and don’t take yourself serious. Let the people tell you if you’re big and successful. If you go around telling everybody that you’re big and successful… chances are you probably aren’t. Usually a musician can never tell how big and successful they are. A lot of them believe they are nothing even if they are big and popular – that’s a good attitude to have. Don’t acknowledge your success. If you do, you’ll come off as egotistical. Bands have a problem of acknowledging their successes which is a pretty big turn off for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I do like more people enjoying my music and listening to it… I don’t care to get big with it.
