Confirmed: “Twilight” to run 2 hours long!!!!

MTV News confirmed that the vampire flick “Twilight” will run a complete 2 hours long.

The question you have to ask is this…will I get a little embarrased in a movie theater of screaming teenage girls?

My answer: No, not at all.

I’ve seen movies in theater packed with teenage girls before, with movies such as Disney’s “Enchanted” and the Chronicles of Narnia “Prince Caspian” are good examples.

I don’t give a shit what kind of audience a film is aimed directly at. I’ll go see a film if it interests me and I go see any film I want to. No matter what genre it is.

There are plenty of people out there my age or older reading Harry Potter books and seeing the Harry Potter movies, Stephenie Meyer is pretty much the same thing. Stephenie Meyer and J.K. Rowling books are for all ages. Enjoy what you want and who cares what other people think if others think you’re weird for enjoying this stuff. I don’t like Harry Potter, and I find that Stephenie Meyer is a MUCH better writer than J.K. Rowling is.

BREAKING NEWS: Ridley Scott finally returning to sci-fi in “Forever War”!!!!

It’s been a long time since film maker Ridley Scott made a new science fiction flick hasn’t it? Ridley Scott who brought us “Blade Runner” and the first “Alien” is making a return to sci-fi in a film titled “The Forever War”. Ridley has been planning to make “The Forever War” 25 years ago but never got around to it, but now he finally has the opportunity.

“The Forever War” will be adapted from the novel by Joe Haldeman, the story is about a soldier who battles an enemy in deep space, only to return home to a planet he doesn’t recognize 20 years later.

Variety Reports:

Ridley Scott has always been known to be switching from different genres in film from sci fi, fantasy, drama, thriller, etc.

“The Forever War” sounds great. Lets just hope Ridley don’t overdo the CGI effects in the film since it’s sci fi.

Cool Video: Sly and Frank Stallone spotted in Beverly Hills after a lunch with the Governator!

Sly and his brother Frank Stallone walking out of a restaurant after a lunch with Arnold.

The reason I think Sly is so nice to the paparrazi and his fans, is simply because Sly is enjoying his fame.

Why the hell is Sly Stallone spending so much time with Arnold lately? Is that a sign that Sly and Arnold will work on a film together in the future? Is that what they’re planning? Fingers crossed on this one.

Enjoy.

Report: Richard Donner speaks out on “Superman” and the “Lethal Weapon” series!!!!

Interview with film maker Richard Donner, the man responsible for bringing us the original “Superman: The Movie”, the Lethal Weapon series, the Goonies, etc.

Although rumours are swirling the nets that screenwriter Shane Black is writing a script for “Lethal Weapon 5”, Donner here said he is not doing the 5th one and he also confirmed Mel Gibson pulled out in returning.

He also speaks more on Superman, the movie that he brought to the big screen himself. He comented on Bryan Singer’s “Superman: Returns” saying how much he loved that film, saying that he nailed it. Isn’t it amazing to hear Richard Donner give “Superman: Returns” positive feedback after all this time?

He also finally gets his own star for the Hollywood walk of fame, which is deserving and long overdue. Congrats Richard!

More on it here:

Richard Donner is an amazing director. Ya know, I love the Superman movies and I would love it if Donner returned to direct a new Superman movie, that be great.

I’m glad there’s going to be no Lethal Weapon 5 though. I hated Lethal Weapon 4. I only liked the first two Lethal Weapon films. 3 and 4 were pretty bad.

Report: Woah, look at those huge boobs on Sarah Palin…um not really…

TMZ posted a photo gallery of behind the scenes segments of the Hustler porn “Nailin’ Palin” with porn star Lisa Ann playing Sarah Palin. And my god, Lisa Ann is pretty smokin’ fine. They made her look almost exactly like Sarah Palin. I don’t think the real Sarah’s boobs are that big, but I think that’s the vision Larry Flynt wanted with her in the film.

Enjoy the photos here (there are no nudity in the pictures since TMZ is a family oriented website):

I sure can’t wait to see it when it comes out on DVD. I’d buy it!!!

I hope it’s hardcore porn, not the cheesy softcore stuff. But knowing that this film is being made by Hustler magazine of course, it’ll be hardcore, ’cause Hustler is way more explicit than Penthouse.

Boring Sunday…

I haven’t blogged much today because I was playing “Metal Gear Solid 4” on my Ps3 most of the day. I’m halfway through the game right now and I’m trying to defeat the first boss called the Laughing Octopus. It’s a pretty tough boss to beat, it’s kind of a bitch to get through. “Metal Gear Solid 4” is an amazing game though, only thing I don’t like about it is that the game has too much storyline. I want action, to play the actual game, they’re making it feel like a movie or a TV show or somethin’. It’s a great game with amazing graphics, I wish the Snake character would be more playable, then watchable, know what I mean? I’ll review the game when I beat it.

In other news, my next GED class is Oct 20th, I’ll be going to those classes Mondays and Wednesdays nights starting that day. It’s exciting getting an education again. I feel more motivated on learning the same subjects you learned in high school then I did back then.

As far as what’s going on in the world of music, as you see, I put up a cover song of Oasis “Shock of the Lightning”, I like how it came out, it came out okay. I plan to put up more series of cover songs in my youtube channel. I’ve gotten to like playing cover songs again. I plan to put up more Clash covers, more Johnny Cash songs, and I want to learn some Eddie Vedder’s solo stuff from his “Into the Wild” soundtrack, plenty more covers planned in the works.

One of my favorite things to do in youtube, is watching unsigned and amatuer musicians putting up home videos of them playing either acoustic or electric guitar by themselves, just singing and playing songs whether it’s an original song or a cover. There’s a lot of talented people in youtube. I enjoy listening to unsigned talent in youtube a lot more than myspace. I don’t listen to music of other bands in myspace anymore, youtube is my place for that now. There are talented musicians all over the world that are in youtube, it’s amazing. You’d be surprised of what you find in there.

Soon I’ll be posting my favorite videos of other unsigned/amatuer musicians from youtube here in the blog. You see I’ve been promoting other musicians from youtube here in the blog once in a while, I plan on doing that more often soon. If I like the music of that unsigned artist, one of my favorite things to do is to help spread the word of their music.

As far as what’s up with my original music, I’ve been writing some tunes on my guitar, I just haven’t came up with lyrics or vocal melodies for them yet, but hopefully soon. I’ve been writing down lyric ideas and just messin’ around with them until I come up with something good.

Hopefully I’ll start writing some actual songs soon. I want to get a new demo CD in the works for the year 2009, it’s been a while since I did one. My last demo CD was made back in 2006 which I named it “Dedication”, I’m dying to get another new demo album done soon. It will happen in 2009 I hope. Just waiting for the right songs to come around for it. It’ll probably get recorded in a profesional local studio just like the last one.

Cool Video: Stallone hints he’s working on a new film…it might be Rambo…

In this video, Sylvester Stallone was spotted in public in Beverly Hills, California.

This is one thing I love about Sly Stallone. Everywhere he goes, he doesn’t mind being bothered by fans. He’s always nice and so polite, he’s willing to talk to his fans or sign autographs. Sly is always so good with his fans. It shows that he really cares for people that cares for him.

As you see this, Sly is driving his black car which looks expensive, and he’s parking it behind an apartment building. As Sly got out of the car, the cameraman yells, “Hey Mr. Stallone”, Sly turns around and says in a Rocky like tone, “Hey, how are you guys doin’?” Then they ask if he’s working on any new movies. And Stallone says, “Oh yeah, you’ll be surprised”. Then the cameraman asks Sly if he could give any hints or clues on what film he’s working on next. Then Sly jokes, “It’ll be Rambo vs. The Muppets”, lol.

Notice how Sly brings his Rocky character to real life? He gets into this Rocky personality when he gets recognized by a fan in public. I think that’s what Rocky is, shows how Stallone is in real life, the way he talks.

Whether Sly is working on a Rambo film or not at least he’s working on something. You can see he’s being pretty secretive about his next movie, he’s not ready to reveal what he’s working on yet. When he’s ready to announce his next film, he will announce it when the time is right. It’s cool that Sly doesn’t mind the paparrazi.

Enjoy this video.
