Report: The Special Olympics goes to war against Ben Stiller, demands boycott on “Tropic Thunder” film…

The Special Olympics officials, a sports group made for people with dissabilities and with mentally retardation is at war against Ben Stiller for his newest directed film “Tropic Thunder” which Stiller also stars the leading role in, the film also stars Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr.

The president of the Special Olympics is demanding the film to not get released at all and get boycotted. What they are upset about is that the film makes fun of people with dissabilities, autism, mentally retardation, etc. The film has a character named Simple Jack who has dissabilities and the characters in the film make fun of him by calling him “retard” and other harsh names.

Dreamworks responded back saying the film never intentionally to hurt people with dissabilities, then he goes on saying the film is supposed to be full of over the top humor with innapropriate situations for humor and laughs.

“Tropic Thunder” is a film about three men making a war film. The film hits theaters everywhere this Wednesday.

I predict that the Special Olympics will not be successful with this. Hollywood will not ditch the film because some phonies don’t want it released.

If you don’t like the content, don’t watch it.

I plan to see “Tropic Thunder” this Thursday on my day off of work, I will review it too and looking forward to seeing it.

Report: J.J. Abrams shows private screening of “Star Trek” to Paramount Pictures…

J.J. Abrams has just wrapped up and finished filming the new “Star Trek” movie, scheduled to release in theaters May of 2009. J.J. Abrams showed a private screening of the film to Paramount Pictures execs and officials of the company only. Paramount says that the film is very impressive and very good. J.J. just needs to finish the last finishing touches of the film and then he’s done with it completely.

The next step is that Paramount is working on it’s first theaterical trailer of the film. A trailer of “Star Trek” with actual footage from the film, not another teaser. The teaser trailer for “Star Trek” was attached to the film “Cloverfield”.

More on it here:

Man, I can’t wait for this new Star Trek film. I just wish it wasn’t so far ahead in the release date. I’m itching to see it asap!

Report: Michael Phelps does it again in the 4 man 100m swimming relay!!!

On  yesterday’s Olympics, Michael Phelps swam by himself earlier in the afternoon but he actually lost, but became victorious at the end of last night’s Olympics for Day 3 in the 4 man team 100 m swimming relay game.

The USA team is still kicking ass. Michael Phelps, Garrett Weber-Gale, Cullen Jones, and Jason Lezak did an impressive 3:08:24 world record in a very quick swimming relay. Aftter that game got over with, Phelps and his USA team celebrated the great moment by them cheering along with the audience.

Check it out:

This is why all the swimming games in the Olympics is my favorite to watch the most. Some of the Olympic games are kind of boring, but the swimming games are very exciting and intense. I enjoy watching both male and female swimming.

That last swim race at the end of the Olympics the 4 man 100 m swim was amazing to watch, it was almost like the Superbowl and I was even getting all excited and smiling. The Olympics are amazing so far!

Report: Ric Flair speaks on leaving WWE and explains everything…

“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair finally speaks out to the media on the real reason why he left WWE. He explains he has no hard feelings against WWE and Vince McMahon. He loves the business very much and always loved the wrestling industry because wrestling is Flair’s life. Flair explains, he never stood on his own feet without wrestling and wants to move on to other things in his career.

What does Flair plans on doing in his future? Well, he plans to become a public/corporate speaker. He wants to do autograph session tours that he never got to do much. He wants to try and start an acting career in film and TV. He wants to see if he has the ability to do other things in his life other than wrestling. Like Ric Flair said in the article, he spent his entire life on profesional wrestling. He loves profesional wrestling too much, that the entertainment/sport is all he cared about.

Vince McMahon and Ric Flair will always be best friends for life as they always had been, like I said before, them two hating each other on TV is just a fun little storyline they are playing out.

Read this long article at the Post and Courier, it’s a newspaper in Charleston, SC. It is Ric Flair’s hometown and state where he lives.

More on it here:

Flair will be back on WWE TV, I know he will. I’m sure he’ll still make occasional appearances on WWE TV once in a while.

Flair deserves to retire, he spent his life on wrestling.

Thanks for the entertainment you gave us wrestling fans Ric! And good luck!
