So I got out of work a little early today and went to Saratoga to Best Buy on a hot summer day. I picked up the “Dirty Harry” 2 disc SE DVD as you see above. With all this talk of Clint Eastwood and Dirty Harry in the news as of late, got me in a big Dirty Harry mood. So this caught my eye when I saw this DVD set sitting on the shelf so I picked it up and bought it.
I also picked up a few music CD’s as well. I picked up Weezer’s the “Red” album and the “Blue” album both. I used to have the “Blue” album by Weezer but lost it. I heard the “Blue” album millions of times and still love that record to death. I think Weezer is an amazing band and one of the best bands going today in the music industry. I also picked up Bo Diddley’s “Definitive Collection” greatest hits album. I’ll review the Weezer “Red” album for this blog after I listen to it a few times. I’ll also review the Dirty Harry DVD.

Last night at Wembley Stadium in the UK, the Foo Fighters played a concert there which Dave Grohl and the rest of the Foos say it’s their best gig and most amazing gig in history of the band’s career. Many rumours speculated that the Foo Fighters will play a few shows together with Led Zeppelin and those rumours turned out to be true at last night’s Wembley Stadium concert.
At last night’s show, after the show was over, Dave Grohl invited John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page to the stage to play a few Led Zeppelin songs for the encore. Jason Bonham and Robert Plant were not there. It was just Jimmy and Jonesy jamming with the Foos. Grohl’s dream of jamming with Led Zeppelin just came true!

Actor Patrick Swayze has announced that his doctors has allowed him to return back to acting. Patrick Swayze will star in an A&E drama series titled “Beast”. In the show, Swayze will play an FBI veteran who trains a new partner while being pursued by a secret Internal Affairs team. 13 hour long episodes will begin production this summer. The series will include compelling storylines and lots of action scenes.
No date has been set yet on when this TV show is expected to premiere on TV.
The actor has been forced to take a hiatus from acting due to getting diagnosed with pancreatic cancer back in March.

Instead of making it a sad and depressing funeral, the family and friends of rock and roll legend and pioneer Bo Diddley, wanted to make it a fun and enjoyable one, to celebrate the life of a rock and roller, who changed the world of music. This man Bo Diddley is the true inventor of Rock and Roll music, if it wasn’t for Bo Diddley, then Elvis, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and hell, even all of your new favorite bands and artists would not be around today.
Family and friends of Bo Diddley clapped and sang rock and roll songs. They also had a gospel band that performed Bo Diddley’s song that he wrote about himself titled “Bo Diddley” as people passed by Bo’s casket in the funeral.
While everyone thinks Elvis Presley was the world’s first rock and roller, not a chance, Bo Diddley was the first and always will be. Bo Diddley is the birth and creator of rock and roll. If It wasn’t for Bo Diddley, then none of us would be playing music.
Also at the funeral, many of Bo Diddley’s musician friends showed up to send flowers and attend the entire funeral, musicians like Eric Burdon, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tom Petty, George Thorogood and many others were there.

I just got back home late for work, decided to work extra this weekend as a request from my boss, I gotta work most of the day tomorrow so my blog may be a little slow this weekend.
I know a long time ago, I’ve discussed in blogs that I plan to go back to school…to college I mean, to get a college degree for a better job. It might actually happen this fall when classes start back up.
I might be going to Acc College in Queensbury, N.Y. What courses will I be taking? I may be taking a few of them. I’ll be taking some type of “English/writing” class so I can learn how to write better. I want to learn to write better to work on my grammar and work on better writing skills. To work on writing so I can write better for my blogs plus to hopefully start a novel writing career. Becoming a novelist and author was my original dream before music, and I just started to take novel writing again seriously. For novel writing, I’ll probably mostly write horror and crime fiction the stuff that I mostly enjoy reading.
I also might take some type of business course where I can learn how to run and open up my own small business. I own my own small business, I can be my own boss and not worry about working crappy jobs. Opening up my own store has always been a dream of mine. I’m thinking of opening up a bookstore that sells music CD’s too.
Don’t know if the college thing will actually happen but I’m definitely looking into it. I’ll never give up the music and guitar playing, and performing live, that I’ll always do. I just do music for fun and a good hobby. I don’t think I’m ever gonna become a profesional musician nationally, so I figure why not get back into writing fiction stories soon and open up my own store.
I’ll have more on this college thing later this summer.

Over 650,000 fans have registered to Vince McMahon’s $1 million dollar sweepstakes. This thing keeps making the national news proving that Vince McMahon is serious about giving away his own money to WWE fans. It’s not fake, it’s no storyline, this is surely the real deal folks. The $1 million really is coming from Vince McMahon’s own money. Lets hope he don’t give away all of his money so he won’t go broke, lol.

It is kind of cool though, it does pay to be a WWE devoted fan, I mean, you have to pay money to have cable TV to watch WWE, you have to buy PPV shows, and tickets to live shows, etc. So this is Vince’s way of giving the money back to the fans.
It shows that Vince actually cares for fans that support WWE. I’ve been a devoted WWE fan my entire life. I’ve always loved the wrestling business. I enjoy being part of the wrestling community. We all know that wrestling is fake and scripted, we just watch it for the entertainment. And that’s what it’s all about! FOR FUN!!!

Duke Nukem the iconic videogame character has been vanished from our videogame systems for a long while, well Duke Nukem is about to make a huge return. The game is titled “Duke Nukem Forever” and it will be released to our PS3/Xbox 360 systems. The next Duke Nukem game is still a first person shooting game like it always is but this will have a similar feel to Grand Theft Auto IV. I think this is an attempt to compete with Grand Theft Auto IV.
“Duke Nukem Forever” is supposed to have more sexual content, and more nudity.

Since “Grand Theft Auto IV” is a game considered the Great American Video Game in History, “Duke Nuke Forever” could top that.
I’ve always been a huge Duke Nukem fan. The character first made his debut on regular PC games back in the 80’s and the character is still popular today. Bring on the game already, it looks fuckin’ badass!
