Report: Mariah Carey lights up the Empire State Building…

How in the hell is America supporting this untalented woman? She can’t really sing.

Perez Hilton knows and been paying attention to her:

The Empire State building lit up to pink, purple and white in honor of Mariah Carey this weekend.

Pop singers are all fake, lyp synchers who is all about big boobs and good looks. That’s the only reason they get popular.

Whose Side Are You On: Gary Coleman vs. his wife…

Well this marriage didn’t last long! I kind of predicted it wouldn’t. When iconic TV star Gary Coleman married a very tall 22 year old Shannon Price, they’re already heading to divorce court when just coming back from their honeymoon. Both of them agree and admit that they haven’t gotten along well fast. Their divorce court will be aired on TV. Shannon accuses Gary of having a temper tantrum while Gary defends himself saying he’s just a frustrated guy by saying the male is always the badguy but Coleman does admit he is negative though.

Sorry Shannon, but I’m on Gary’s side 100%. Things like this is what you get when you marry the rich and famous for the money and to live that celebrity lifestyle. This is what you get for marrying a guy who is twice your age.

Maybe this will teach Shannon a lesson not to get married this soon to the wrong guy. Gary is right on  the money about Shannon 100%. Gary maybe a jerk but sometimes women drive men to be that way that the women knew they had it coming. Gary has my back.

Cool Video: Rev. Al Sharpton wants justice sought against the 3 police officers who killed Sean Bell…

I hate Rev. Al Sharpton. But looks like Rev. Al Sharpton is having a change of heart toward the media by helping the Sean Bell family. As I predicted before, the fight against the police officers will not end until justice is served. A lawsuit toward the 3 police officers will not solve anything ’cause that still makes the cops free and to shoot anyone who they want. Rev. Al Sharpton and the Bell family should do whatever they can to put the murdering pricks in prison for the rest of their lives on death row.

Kudos to you Rev. Al Sharpton, you actually get my respect this time. 🙂

BREAKING NEWS: Phil Collins puts his music career in the air tonight…he’s done…

Phil Collins a rock legend exclusively revealed to Times Online that he is done and retiring from music for good. Phil Collins ended his career on a high positive note by reforming Genesis last year in 2007 and doing a full tour with the band. In this article he announced he is done with music. He is done with touring and done making albums that means both his solo career and Genesis or any musical project. He’s currently living in Switzerland where he has a family and wants to spend more time with them. While he is giving up music, he plans on still writing because he doesn’t know how to stop and writing is one of the things he loves.

Read this interesting article here:

Wow.

To be honest, I don’t really care that he’s retiring. I don’t really care for his music. He has a few good songs I like with Genesis and a few good songs with his solo stuff, but I’m not much of a fan.

Expect this news to soon be all over entertainment media later tonight or tomorrow.

BREAKING NEWS: 3 NYPD Police Officers acquitted in Sean Bell killing…

3 NYPD police officers were acquitted and found not guilty of murdering 23 year old innocent Sean Bell who had nothing to do with the crime that the NYPD was investigating at the time. Sean Bell was celebrating his wedding day at a strip club in Queens, NYC at a bachelor party police barged in the strip club without warning and immediately started firing their guns as if it was a movie or a videogame or something.

After the verdict was read, emotions went high in the courtroom as Bell’s fiance walked right out. Angry protesters were outside the courtroom.

The Associated Press reports:

How do you fucking like that! 3 cops got away with murder!

I see a major lawsuit coming toward those three cops and to the Queens courtroom by Bell’s family.

Fucking bastards.

Just more reasons to say that the police is a disgrace to this society. It’s all about power and greed. They’ll do anything to impress their bosses, police don’t give a shit about anybody but themselves. They only care about doing what they are payed to do.

I’m so pissed off at this story! I hope Bell’s fiance and mother seek justice on these police officers they deserve.

Report: Lars Ulrich hints Metallica might release next record on the internet…

Lars Ulrich of Metallica spoke to Rollingstone magazine by phone while attending Record Store day in California. Lars hints that Metallica could be releasing their next album via the internet before the record hits stores like Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails has done.

Is that what http://www.missionmetallica.com/ is all about?

Quote from article:

“Mmm, we’ve never sold ourselves that way. No disrespect. We want to be as free a players as possible. We’ve been observing Radiohead and Trent Reznor and in twenty-seven years or however long it takes for the next record, we’ll be looking forward to everything in terms of possibilities with the Internet.” – Lars Ulrich

From Rollingstone.com:

http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/20379823/lars_ulrich_weve_always_been_fiercely_independent_and_controlling

It’s great to see more famous artists going for the internet to release their music. Bands and artists don’t always have to release albums on CD, the internet is the way to go in my opinion.

I’ve always liked listening to mp3’s on the internet more than compact discs to be honest.

I don’t buy music CD’s as much anymore. I always felt that the internet is the way to release music. Bands/artists can release their music how they want to.

I found nothing special about music albums with profesional covers, booklets with lyrics/credits in them, etc. CD manufacturing is just a big waste of money and it’s cool to see more bands starting to realize that. People don’t buy CD’s much anymore, the internet the way to go.

I like releasing my own albums for the internet only. I only released one internet album so far which was last year and hopefully I’ll release another internet album soon once I write some songs that I’m proud of releasing for it.

Looking forward to hearing the new music by Metallica.

Variety Reports:

I’m happy it’s not going to be Carson Daly or Jimmy Kimmel or anybody like that.

Jimmy Fallon is the man!

Report: Starbucks Coffee dumps music label after one year in business…

Starbucks Coffee, the popular coffeehouse all over the United States has decided to dump it’s music label. Paul McCartney was the first artist to be signed to the label and released a record through it. Joni Mitchell and James Taylor were also on the label’s roster. The artists signed to the label will be turned over to Concord Music Group. The reason for dumping the label is to help save money for the coffees and foods for the actual coffeehouse business. Not only that, Ken Lombard who started the label is leaving the company. Starbucks has also made a deal with Apple LLC to go digital with the music, so customers can buy music from Apple Itunes music stores without paying WiFi connection.

Read more here:

I somehow predicted this label wouldn’t last long so it didn’t surprise me. They wouldn’t dump it if it was a successful label.

The former Star Wars star Ewan McGregor is in negotiations to play alongside Tom Hanks in “Angels and Demons” prequel. Ewan may play the character Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca, who is a pope from the novel.

Ewan McGregor has been an underrated actor for  years but became a household star after playing Obi Won Kenobi in the three Star Wars prequels.

Dark Horizons reports:

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news08/080425g.php

Look like Ron Howard is in a hurry to get the casting done and bet he can’t wait to start filming!!! I can’t blame him since his project was interupted by the WGA writers strike.

Finally! It’s great to finally see Christian Slater get a big role after years of doing small roles in films. It’s going to be interesting seeing Christian as a villain.
