Why Mr. McMahon being the babyface superhero doesn’t work…

So Vince McMahon returned to WWE RAW last night to give a WWE “State of Address”. Nobody knew what McMahon’s plans were storywise. There’s been a lot of speculation that he is going to fire AJ Lee of the RAW GM position. While McMahon was out in the ring, about to give his “WWE address” speech, of course, he was interrupted by CM Punk. CM Punk and Paul Heyman, came out to the ring. Punk like usual cries about how he is being disrespected in the WWE and how no one cares for him anymore, when everyone should since he is WWE Champion. Punk has a huge ego thinking he’s the best in the world. Punk wants McMahon to think so too.

I was expecting McMahon to do something mean like a heel kind of thing and agree with Punk that he’s the Best in the World, but sure enough, Vince is against Punk like most people. So Vince challenged Punk a wrestling match for the main event. Last night during the Punk vs. McMahon match, they were beating each other up for a good ten minutes. Punk was beating McMahon in the beginning, then McMahon came out on top in the middle of the match beating Punk like crazy. When Punk finally found a way to come back at McMahon, Ryback’s music hits, and he comes out to save McMahon. Of course, John Cena had to come out and help too, *yawn*. CM Punk runs away from the ring and stands out in the audience while watching McMahon speak of what he is about to say. McMahon forces Punk to be in a Hell in a Cell match against either Ryback or Cena of Punk’s choice. If Punk refuses, then he would FIIIIIrreeeedddd…

Well, that’s how RAW went last night with McMahon’s return. McMahon doesn’t perform full time as much as he used to. I think he’s getting too burned out about performing so much, which is why he has a RAW General Manager, give someone else the spot light. McMahon has been a babyface superhero for a while now, and I don’t think it works for him. McMahon is much more interesting being a menacing heel. Someone you really want to hate. I think the only reason McMahon turned into a babyface is well, it’s part of Linda McMahon’s Senate campaign. If McMahon was a heel during her campaign, then Linda will get attacked by the media for it. A good guy Vinnie-Mac, is just weird. I’m used to seeing him as the badguy. McMahon was pretty weak in his promos last night. He can give really amazing promos when he’s heel.

McMahon has been a heel for 90% of his entire career performing on TV. I understand he wants to do something different, but there’s something about him being good guy that doesn’t work. Maybe it’s his acting. Maybe he doesn’t know how to control the crowd when he’s babyface. He’s better being the badguy! Will McMahon ever get a heel turn again? I think he will. Just wait until Linda loses her election, and then maybe he’ll turn heel then. If McMahon turns heel, he’ll have to bring back all the offensive stuff like the Kiss My Ass club for example. The PG era today is just unreal. Can’t stand it.

The Brock’s Horror Film Pick #9: Hellraiser

This is a pretty epic horror flick directed by the great, Clive Barker, “Hellraiser”. The man responsible for bringing us the iconic horror character, Pinhead, played by the great, Doug Bradley. The film was also written by Barker as well, adapted from his own novel, “The Hellbound Heart”. This film is good ’cause it’s not really a slasher flick. It actually has a story, and a plot! It’s about a couple who moves into an old house, and discover this creature, which used to be the wife’s former lover. This creature lost most of his body to a trio of demons called, the Cenobites. He is brought back to life by the Cenobites, and forces his former lover to bring him blood, in order to complete his body.

The Hellraiser franchise has always been underrated. Of course, there are plenty of sequels after this movie, but I only liked the first two. This film here is pretty amazing though. Loved everything about it. I hear there is a re-boot coming soon of the Hellraiser franchise. If you haven’t seen the original “Hellraiser”, it is streamable for Netflix, get on it soon. The rest of the sequels of this franchise are Netflix streamable too.

Jimmy Page, finally shoots down Led Zeppelin tour reunion rumors…

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Jimmy Page was quick to shoot down rumors of a possible upcoming Led Zeppelin tour. He claims that if there were any more concerts to be done, they would already be talking about them.

Read, what he has to say, here.

Ah well, I guess I’ll give it up and get over it. I’ll still support them though, no matter the decisions they make. Hopefully Jimmy Page will come out with a new project of his own, whether it will be a new solo album or if he plays with a different band. I just want Jimmy Page back out there, doing something new.

Anyway, people will always find other ways to bring up new rumors about Led Zeppelin, even if they aren’t touring. Let the new album rumors begin soon, that possible unreleased studio album they did that Dave Grohl was talking about, don’t be surprised if rumors about that could blow up soon.

The guys must be getting frustrated though. They want people to appreciate their 2007 concert which is why they released it for us all, yet, people keep harassing them about a tour. This should hopefully shut everyone up about it now.

The Brock’s Horror Film Pick #8: Psycho (the 1960 original)

Time to throw in another classic here. The original “Psycho”, directed by the late and great, Alfred Hitchcock. Starring Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh. It’s another one of my favorites. Not only the classic shower scene made it great, the whole film is great. Everything about the film is perfect.

Btw, these films list are in no particular order, I’m just going by the days up until Halloween. So I’m just picking my favorite films at random.

Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame, how did she grow up to be a gorgeous girl? Damn…

As a fan of the Harry Potter books and the movies, I have Emma Watson’s official facebook page “liked”, so I can add a little more eye candy for my enjoyment. This is Emma Watson, famous for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series. She’s not a little girl anymore, she’s 22 now. She’s older and looking pretty fine.

I like the Harry Potter franchise myself and just like most fans, I wish J.K. Rowling would keep the series going.

Cool Video: Stone Cold E.T., causes trouble at the drive thru!

I love drive thru pranks! Back in high school, me and my friends used to do drive thru pranks, just to have a laugh. It’s fun to do!

How creative is it to combine Stone Cold Steve Austin and E.T. together? Check out the rest of the videos in their channel. They impersonate other WWE stars and celebrities. It’s a pretty entertaining channel.

I know my blog have been heated as of late with my rants and discussions, so I’d decided to light it up a bit with some comedy. This video will give you the LOL’s, so enjoy.

Arnold Schwarzenegger… did his affairs hurt his career? I say no, not at all…

There are too many critics and regular fans hating on Arnold’s book, giving it negative reviews. A lot of them say his book is a nightmare, calling him all kinds of nasty things. I’m like, really? With Arnold’s past affairs with women, people think that stuff hurt his career. It may hurt his career a little bit, but in reality, his career never really got damaged. No matter what you think of Arnie. Love him or hate him. The guy is a living legend. He’s a big deal because he changed the world of bodybuilding and helped make the sport became huge to what it is today, plus he is an iconic movie star. He is still loved and supported by many of his fans. Why do people still support him? Simply put, he inspires us all and he’s a genius. He’s the king of the entertainment industry. No matter what you think of the man. Hey may not have been a good governor and he made his mistakes in his personal life, but so fuckin’ what, ya know? Life moves on, the fans don’t care about that stuff. People still support him as a way to celebrate his career in his bodybuilding and films. People stayed loyal to him, no matter what negative things happened in his life.

I still support him. He’s an inspiration to me in bodybuilding and movies too. I’ve watched all of his movies over the years and will continue to see his upcoming films, now that he’s finally back on the big screen, where he belongs. Respect Arnold. He changed all of our lives. I’ve started reading Arnold’s book, and it’s pretty addicting. I can’t put it down. I don’t understand the bad reviews. The book is pretty inspiring stuff. Arnold, is quite an interesting guy!

I’ll give the book a full review when I finish reading it.

The Brock’s Horror Film Pick #7: The Ring

Alright, time to do a newer film this time. This is one of the good horror film remakes, directed by the great Gore Vebinski, “The Ring”, also starring Naomi Watts, and Martin Henderson,  which is a ghost story. It’s about a journalist who discovers a video tape and you get killed a week later after viewing. The movie is very scary and creepy. The way horror movies should be written! This is another one of those movies I watch on Halloween every year. It is a really great film. I didn’t care for the sequel though.

Anybody can be a music critic, musician or not…

Whether you’re a professional musician, amateur/hobbyist, or if you’re not a musician at all and just a music lover, anyone is welcome to be an honest critic in music. I’ll repeat for the 100th time, this is what music is here for. Whether you want to say  that a band’s music is good or bad. If you want to judge their professionalism of how they act or play their shows, you have the right to do all that if you please. Honest feedback is good for the music world. The negative feedback can help. If everybody had to be 100% positive at everything, then that would make the music world boring, wouldn’t it? What ever is on your mind, you shouldn’t have to be afraid to say it, even if it might hurt people’s feelings.

It’s just that when ever a musician tries to be honest about something whether you’re a professional or amateur, they would get criticized in return. It’s almost like it’s a crime for musicians to be honest about stuff. Not only local musicians have a hard time trying to be honest about stuff, famous musicians too. For example, outspoken musicians like Dave Mustaine, Ted Nugent, Billy Corgan and Noel Gallagher. They try to be real about stuff in the industry and they get all kinds of shit back from the public, a backlash. It seems that regular music fans are welcome to be real about stuff, all they want to, but when a musician tries, it’s almost against the law.

If one musician comes out and says this band here sucks or these guys are a bunch of douche bags, everyone else will tell him stuff like, “You shouldn’t have the right to have an opinion on them, when you haven’t done anything in music ’cause your music sucks, anyway”. You get the deal, what I’m talking about. Then this musician all of a sudden becomes the most hated person in music, only for having an opinion! That’s the way music goes for a musician. It’s tougher for them to be honest about stuff ’cause music is world wide and everyone can read and hear their thoughts on stuff.

I know a lot of people have a lot to say about me or my music, either positive or negative. I can take the mixed reactions ’cause I know honest feedback can go both ways.

I get people criticizing me in return, all the time. I’m used to people telling me, that I don’t have the right to be real about music when they think I haven’t got the success or experience to back things up with. When I’m being honest about stuff, I’m doing that as a “music fan”. I’m a music lover just like everyone else. So why can’t I have an opinion? Other people are free to be honest all they want to, but when the Brock joins in, I’m all of a sudden a troll or the bad guy of the music scene.

See how the music world is messed up? See how insane people can be? People are gonna be crazy yes, but if you want to speak your mind in music, best thing to do is not care what anyone else thinks. I’m done talking about this topic now, just had to vent.
