Cool Photo: Sarah and Todd Palin go to Chick-fil-A restaurant for take out despite the Muppets controversy…

The fast food chain, Chick-fil-A, maybe in a lot of controversy with the Muppets, over this gay rights stuff, but that’s not stopping Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, for supporting the restaurant. Here they are at the restaurant with smiles on their faces and all.

Check it out…here

Yep, I still support Sarah and her family.

You can either play music professionally or just for the love of it!!!

Do I see myself as a professional musician??? Some people mistakenly accuse me that I think of myself as a “professional” musician, but I know I’m not one. When you want to play an instrument whether it would be a guitar or whatever, it’s your choice whether you want to play as a hobby or professionally. I choose to do it as a hobby. Just something fun. That is it. Yes, I could forward my career to a bigger level if I wanted. I could try and get signed to an independent label, and have the label do all the work for me, get good opportunities, play bigger stages, and bigger venues. All the good stuff other bands are getting, but I don’t care to get all that as I repeatedly said.

The same goes for playing live gigs. I consider that as a hobby and for something fun to do as well. I think a lot of musicians and bands take themselves waaayyyy too seriously when it comes to gigging. A lot of musicians and bands would gig for other reasons. For example, a lot of musicians like to perform live for their own ego, to be at the center of everyone’s attention. They want to try and get many fans as possible. Some of them gig just for the money alone. There’s a lot of musicians that aren’t passionate enough about gigging even if they look like it.

Well, I am passionate about gigging, 100%. I love performing live in front of people. Can you see it in the live videos of mine? I love sharing my songs with other people. I love interacting with the audience and getting a reaction from people toward my songs either good or bad. I just love that feeling of getting up there and rocking out. Yes, I know I haven’t played a gig in a long while, but I’m trying to get back out there. I don’t really need to gig, but I do because it’s an awesome thing to do. I see too many musicians at live gigs that look bored to death playing on stage and they don’t look like they’re having fun. Playing live for me is like going to Disney World or Universal Studios. You may like going to amusement parks and going out to have some fun, but playing live is what I call fun, more than anything.

If I ever get myself a rock band, I would treat gigging the same way, treat it as a hobby and something for fun. You see? Music is just fun for me. I don’t do it to become the most popular musician in the world. If you’re that kind of musicians that wants to shove your music into everyone’s faces, that’s fine. That’s not me, ya know?

Yes, I do like getting new fans and supporters who truly do like my music, I appreciate that. I don’t take music so seriously, and just want to write, write, write. I just like putting it out there and getting responses from it. I like the mixed reactions, good or bad.

I do want to get back out there playing live and trying my best. Need to write a new batch of songs which is what I’m trying to do ’cause I want to forget most of my old songs and focus on mostly new ones. I’m still getting requests that I should bring back my old ones, which I will but only a few of them. I need to move forward and focus on new material. Go different directions and evolve. I don’t want to be playing the same songs, and the same styles of music, all the time, ya know? I want to get better and improve my talent some.

Music is a beautiful thing in life. No need to take it seriously. You don’t even need to play live at all if you don’t want to. Just play at home just for yourself. Music is in my blood and always will be.

Brock bashes both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart…

I hate discussing this gossip shit on this blog but I gotta get this one off my chest, can’t resist it. With the popularity of Twilight for the past couple of years, of course, this is going to make Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart a real life couple. Personally, I think this whole couple thing with Robert and Kristen, was a publicity stunt, just to help hype up the movie. I’m sure Robert thought it was a real relationship, but Kristen clearly used the guy for her own publicity. This doesn’t make Robert innocent either ’cause he should have known Kristen was going to cheat on him. This is real life, dude. He probably thought his relationship with her would go the same way Edward and Bella did, in the books. Turns out it didn’t go that way he wanted.

I got into Twilight for a little bit, but I don’t like it anymore.

Of course, the media will be all over this for days, trying to get every detail about their personal business. Some will feel sorry for Robert and hate on Kristen, sometimes it’s the other way around with Twilight fans. Like I said before, they both are guilty on this. They shouldn’t have had a relationship to begin with. So they both deserve the media backlash they are getting right now.

This stuff is all over the internet, so I thought I would respond to it just once. Will it affect the upcoming, “Breaking Dawn pt 2”? It probably will a little bit but you know these obsessive Twihards will see it anyway and it will be a huge hit, no matter what. On top of that, Kristen Stewart is not a good looking girl anyway, plus, I’m sure the skank had experiences with cheating plenty of times before. She’s probably gonna cheat on Rupert Sanders too, give it time. She’s no Bella from the books. Don’t be so confused with fiction and reality.

Just thought I would give my thoughts, since some of you may be wondering.

Edit to add: Another thing I wanted to add to this, think how the other cast members and film crew would feel about this stupid love triangle, both the behind the scenes crew from “The Twilight” series and “Snow White and The Huntsmen” might be pretty disgusted by this. So this is pretty unprofessional behavior for both Robert and Kristen. It’s going to affect both film franchises if you think about it.

Report: Lady Gaga confirmed to star in Robert Rodriguez’s “Machete Kills”…

Lady Gaga, confirmed the surprising news that she will be starring in Robert Rodriguez’s sequel to “Machete”, titled, “Machete Kills”. Yes, she will star alongside Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez, etc. As you can see in the poster, she’ll be playing a character called, La Chameleon.

I know this casting is controversial to some. Some are going to hate her for this and say that she shouldn’t be in the movie. I would give her a chance and not judge before the movie.

You should know by now folks, that music stars gets turned into actors in this day and age of the entertainment business. As a matter of fact. Music stars turning into movie stars have been happening for years. It all started with Elvis Presley, I believe. Then we got Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Meat Loaf, Michael Jackson, Kris Kristofferson, Dwight Yoakam, Randy Travis, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Madonna, Will Smith, etc.

You say music stars don’t have any acting talent that they don’t deserve to be in the movies? Well, I’m sure they have some acting experience ’cause a lot of music stars do a lot of music videos, so that helps them give some acting experience. Think about it.

Gaga’s role in this film could be pretty cool. I’m looking forward to this film.

Big shoutout to CRUMBS, thanks for sticking up for me!

I love how they stopped the anonymous attacks at the CRUMBS blog. For some reason, a lot of trolls like to go to the Times Union blogs to attack me anonymously, which is one of the reasons, I hate the Times Union blogs ’cause most bloggers over there are horrible moderators that a lot of them shouldn’t even be blogging to begin with. I thought the Times Union was supposed to be a family friendly paper? Yet, they continue to let anonymity attack other people, except the CRUMBS blog were kind enough to stop it.

Now you see why I have to review comments before posting here? It’s because I have a lot of anonymous trolls on the internet. They attack at other places ’cause they know they are not allowed to do it here. Wish those trolls would get a life. The Times Union blogs are crap, except for CRUMBS which is the only one that I read.

Making music should really be about pleasing yourself, and not other people…

Before people get mad at the title of this topic, let me explain. Hell, some of you out there may even agree with me! A lot of musicians and music fans mistakenly believe that musicians playing in bands or acoustic solo, they make music to please as many people as possible, when in reality, that’s what music shouldn’t be about. There are reasons that someone wants to become a musician or singer or whatever. Many personal reasons. Not just for the enjoyment and fun, but playing music helps make them become a better person. Playing music is a good stress reliever for people. Playing music makes people stronger and happier. Can help people have better things in life. Making music helps people go through good and bad times in life. Helps people keep going and stay alive. Those are the reasons why I play music.

If I don’t get popularity or don’t get recognized with my music, I’m okay with that. If I get other people hating my music and think I suck, I’m okay with that. You should be okay with it too. As long as you’re creating music for yourself, creating art, making yourself happy, that’s the only thing that should matter. I feel good being what I am. A musician and songwriter. It’s pretty much all I have in life, you know? I don’t know what else I do if I didn’t do this.

You can play whatever genre of music makes you happy. Write songs however you want to write them, and not caring what anyone else thinks. Sometimes there are people that tell me how to write songs how they want to, and sometimes people tell me to play what genre of music I shouldn’t be playing. For example, people told me I should be a country & folk songwriter, but that’s not me. I’m a rock n’ roller and quite proud of it, thank you.

Metallica is a perfect example that fits this topic. That bands just plays whatever music pleases them, not caring what other people think. If they want to move away from the speed metal genre and try other things, they can feel free to do that. That’s the power of music. The freedom to do whatever you want to do.

I like people supporting my music, don’t get me wrong, but music should be about making yourself happy, that’s it. You don’t have to stop because other people want you to and you can’t let those haters/doubters bring you down ’cause people want to see you fail in music, that’s why they are what they are, trolls and haters. You don’t have to be music perfectionists. You don’t have to take yourself seriously. Just play to make yourself happy. That’s what music is here for.

Report: Springsteen battled depression and was suicidal in the earlier days of his career…

Did you think Bruce Springsteen, the boss of rock n’ roll, was a happy man, when he was just becoming a big superstar in rock n’ roll music in the early 80’s? Think again! The Boss, made a public confession that he has been battling depression and was suicidal in the earlier days of his career. It started back around 1982, when he first made his big breakthrough in the music industry. Bruce have been seeing a psychiatrist ever since then. He was never an alcoholic and never did drugs, but he had his problems like most people.

Read more on the story, here.

So some of you may ask, why would fame & fortune make a rock star depressed? I’ve explained it on the blog before, fame & fortune can be pretty risky if you’re not careful. It’ll get to you, believe me. How fame & fortune, can ruin you? I can definitely see how having loads of money would make someone depressed. With fame, you will get no privacy. You will get rabid fans every where you go in public, trying to get after you. You will also get paparazzi after you and non stop interviews with the media. The work load in your career will get to you. You will be away from home and away from your family & friends, a lot. You will be on the road all the time, not having free time for yourself.

That’s what fame will do to you. If you want more examples, look at how many rock stars from the past who drove themselves into drugs and alcohol over the years. Some rock stars have even committed suicide, look at Kurt Cobain. I’ve explained plenty of times before that fame can destroy you if you’re not careful. Look what happened to Amy Winehouse, another perfect example. When famous musicians die, you shouldn’t always blame it on drugs and alcohol. It’s the fame and fortune that causes musicians to drive into depression, so it gets them into drugs and all that stuff.

Fame may sound cool and fun, but the reality is, most rock stars hate being famous. They play music ’cause that’s what they want to do for a living. I know some unsigned musicians want to break into the industry, but it’s not an easy world as you all think. Depression even killed, Elvis Presley too, go figure, another perfect example.

While I’m sure Bruce is all better now and he can handle fame today just fine, I’m sure he still gets depressed at times. His world is not perfect, just like we aren’t. Fame can be dangerous and evil. I don’t know why so many people want it so bad. I don’t care to get famous at all. It’s not what I would want.

10 WWE legends that should have been at RAW 1000

Other than the obvious, Stone Cold Steve Austin, who else should have been at RAW 1000? What other superstars that should have been there, to help bring back the Attitude era? I can think of 10 other superstars at the top of my head, who should have been at RAW 1000 last Monday.

  • Ric Flair – The Nature Boy Ric Flair is all done with TNA, and there are rumors that he may return to WWE soon. Flair was actually backstage at RAW 1000, but WWE didn’t use him.
  • The Ultimate Warrior – I really think the Ultimate Warrior should have been there but Warrior vows to stay retired from WWE completely. Sad, but Warrior does what he wants to do. Warrior is still performing wrestling shows to this day but he does independent events. It would be nice if Warrior would give us one last WWE appearance, though.
  • Paul Bearer – Undertaker and Kane reunited as the Brothers of Destruction last Monday, but Paul Bearor (real name: Percy Pringle), was no where to be seen.
  • Chyna – Believe it or not, Chyna was one of the original founding members of the D Generation X group. While it’s great to see Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and X-Pac, it’s not a proper reunion without Chyna being a part of it. She definitely should have been there, she has always been a big part of D-X, like her or not.
  • Dave Batista – If they brought back Dave Batista, Ric Flair and Randy Orton, it would have been cool to bring back the “Evolution” wrestling group with Triple H for a one night appearance. I think we’ll get a Batista comeback pretty soon.
  • Hulk Hogan – Even though I’m no Hulk Hogan fan, he should have been a part of this but he is still under contract for TNA.
  • Trish Stratus – Lita returned for RAW 1,000 but we got no Trish Stratus. Trish was a huge part of RAW in the earlier days during the Attitude Era.
  • Sable (Rena Mero) – Sable who is Brock Lesnar’s real wife should have made a one time comeback, would have been great to see the Sable bomb finisher, she’s known for. She too was a big part of the Attitude era, I guess she prefers to stay retired too.
  • Edge – One superstar that was missing, was Edge. He still occasionally makes WWE appearances but he didn’t appear at RAW 1000 for some reason. Would have been cool to see an Edge & Christian tag team reunion.
  • Shane Helms (as the Hurricane): Stand back, there’s a Hurricane coming through! Would have been cool to see that character again!

Enjoy! Feel free to add more if you want.

Last night’s RAW 1,000 scores HUGE rating…

This is no surprise though, I figure so many people would be watching. Last night’s RAW scored a massive, 4.02 rating, which I’m sure Vince McMahon and the WWE officials are smiling wide right now. So expect WWE to continue to bring back legends from the past on RAW, which is working for them. Why doesn’t it surprise me that the rating is so big? It’s because it’s a clear sign that wrestling fans miss the Attitude Era. Last night, was pretty much the return of the Attitude Era, and this is kind of wrestling show we all want.

I’m sure the rating would be even bigger than that, if Stone Cold was on last night though.

Cool Photo: Christian Bale visits Aurora victims after all!!!!

After reports claiming that actor Christian Bale was out of town filming a movie that he won’t be able to visit Aurora victims, it appears that he found the time to get around to that today. Christian Bale the man himself, visits the local Aurora hospital to visit survivors of the shooting rampage. Except he showed up as himself, he didn’t dress up in the Batman costume at all, which is good!

Christian didn’t stay real quick just to see how they were doing, they got way more than that. He actually stayed for a long while to chat with fans that are survivors of the tragedy. He took photos with them as well.

Here is a photo of Christian Bale posing with a survivor, here.

Bale is a good man for that!

Hopefully Christopher Nolan and some of the other cast members will get a chance to visit the victims too.

The survivors are pretty lucky to meet Bale! Just imagine the huge smile on their face as soon as Bale walks in the hospital room. The fan in the pic looks pretty stoked to meet him.

And it’s great for Warner Bros. to donate money to the victims too! Clearly shows that Warner Bros. really care for people!
