You gotta give respect for the Undertaker…

So, the Undertaker is returning to RAW this coming Monday. That’s what the “2-21-11” videos are all about. The latest, “2-21-11” video clearly showed the Undertaker in it, shooting down all rumors of Sting making his WWE debut.

Have you noticed a lot of legendary wrestlers from the past, retiring from wrestling and leaving for other careers? Examples: Stone Cold, Mick Foley, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, etc.

Not the Undertaker. He’s never backed out on WWE and he stuck with wrestling to this day. The Undertaker made his debut in WWE way back in 1990, that’s a long time he’s been with WWE, right? There’s a lot of speculation that the Undertaker will retire from WWE, but I think he’ll keep doing this until he dies.

I’m looking forward to Undertaker’s return to RAW this Monday. It’s clear that Mark Calloway loves his job too much. I think the Undertaker’s been around WWE longer than every wrestler pretty much. They don’t call him the Dead Man for nothing.

Film Review: Unknown

Starring: Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, January Jones, Frank Langella, Aidan Quinn

Directed by: Jaume Collet-Serra

WOW! How about this awesome weather today everybody? Isn’t it amazing where today feels like the first day of Spring? You could actually walk outside without a coat on! It won’t stay this way too long though. 😦 It’ll get cold again, this weekend, BOO! I hear ya, I hear ya, I’m tired of the cold weather myself.

Today, I decided to go to the mall to check out a movie and do some fun shopping for myself. I was gonna see the film, “The Rite”, with Anthony Hopkins, but they stopped playing that film, so I would have to wait for that movie to hit DVD instead.

I also went to Best Buy and picked up a few movies on DVD as well. I ended up buying, “I Spit On Your Grave” horror film remake, “Exit Through the Gift Shop” documentary, and “Waiting for Superman” documentary. I’ve been reading great reviews about those three movies so I blind bought them, never saw them before. Looking forward to seeing those movies this weekend.

I ended up seeing the movie, “Unknown” starring Liam Neeson, the new action thriller. This would be my first 2011 release that I’ve seen this year. On with my review:

Plot/Synopsis: Liam plays a man named, Dr. Martin Harris who was in a dangerous car accident in Berlin and was put in a coma for 4 days. When he woke up after his coma, he meets up with his wife, Elizabeth, but suddenly, she doesn’t know who he is. Another man claims to be her husband and has the same name, Dr. Martin Harris, it seems that the real Dr. Martin Harris identity has been stolen. As Martin tries to find his real identity and tries to find out why his wife doesn’t recognize him, he is being hunted down by assassins. Martin tries his best to get his wife back and tries to investigate what went wrong. Martin gets help from a young woman named, Gina, who is played by Diane Kruger.

I was at first a little worried about this film. When I went into the theater, I’m like, “oh man, hope this film don’t suck”. It surprisingly didn’t. It turned out to be an entertaining film with a lot of twist and turns. It’s a mystery suspense film, that was unpredictable and kept you guessing until the very end.

Yes, the storyline of some guy waking up and finding his identity being gone, have been told through movies thousands of times (Jason Bourne, perfect example), but this one was done right, and intelligently. The film had the whole package. It was a perfect popcorn action flick, all around. The writing was great, the cast was phenomenal (Frank Langella, is what made the movie exciting alone).

Plus, the action scenes in this movie were surprisingly a blast. It had some great car chases, plenty of fighting and gun shooting, explosions too. It had it all. You might think this film is kind of similar to “Taken”, Liam’s previous action flick, but “Unknown” is ten times better than, “Taken”. I loved Diane Kruger’s character in this flick, too, she’s a great actress.

I have no complaints with the film at all. An excellent film. After “Taken” and this movie, Liam Neeson will be the next great American action hero, he’s almost there. Could Liam be a great addition to the “Expendables” cast? Absolutely! If you like a great action movie with a bit of suspense, this is the film for you.

I’ll have to warn you though, there is a big shocker at the end of the movie, I’m not going to spoil anything. The ending is pretty questionable and will leave you scratching your head. Great film, check it out.

Score for “Unknown” = **** (4 stars as in “excellent”)

Not a Cool Video: This is the type of stuff I would stay away from in bodybuilding…

This youtube channel just sent me a friend request, so I approved it, since I approve anything that adds me in youtube. I just couldn’t help but laugh. Ya see, I can’t see myself getting into this. Why would I want to be working out in a gym with a bunch of half naked dudes?

I would never get that huge in bodybuilding, that’s not the kind of physique I’m looking for. If you’re looking for a better idea of the kind of physique that I want. I want the medium built, wrestler size physique. I want a physique like Sly has. That’s my goal.

This fake competition, I want nothing to do with. This stuff is funny to laugh at though.

Just to make one thing clear about my music…

The thing with my music is that I’m not just going political. It’ll be boring for me to write political and war songs all the time. So for my plans for my next batch of songs, are things that happen in “current news”. Pretty much everything in the entertainment industry. As you can hear so far in my electric songs, they are very hard rock and a little punk. That’s always been my genre.

I really want band backup behind my electric songs and I already started asking around other musicians to see if they want to help me. This is just for fun, not for money but if other musicians prefer to get paid, yes, I’ll pay them a little something as long as they don’t ask for a high price. This weekend, I’ll also start asking for musicians through Crumbs or Craigslist.

All this ProTools and music recording software is very popular these days, and all musicians pretty much have ’em. As long as my playing through ProTools sounds perfectly clean (which does), other musicians should have no problem playing along with my songs ’cause I am using a click track as you can hear.

I have always been a hard rock guy, y’all know that. Led Zep, Metallica, Sabbath, Slayer, Ac/Dc, Megadeth, etc. All the bands I love, is where I inspire these riffs from.

I need band back up so they can sound a LOT tighter and meaner, you’d be surprised of the difference.

Most hard rock and punk music write songs about death, war, drugs & alcohol, medieval songs, etc. Not with me, my songs will be honest and real.

I know my listeners would like to see me do full band tracks and I’m trying the best I can to make that dream actually happen.

BREAKING NEWS: Friday Night Lights, Adrianne Palicki is “Wonder Woman” for NBC!!!

NBC have finally found their Wonder Woman! The “Friday Night Lights” star, Adrianne Palicki, is set to play Wonder Woman. Yes, Adrianne will be wearing the Wonder Woman costume and will take her famous lasso.

See the report here at, Deadline.

Perfect choice!!!!! Adrianne is a smoking hot babe. Seriously, she’s absolutely gorgeous if you’ve seen the show FNL on NBC. Wonder Woman needs to be a hot and sexy woman, so Adrianne fits that. If you don’t think so, watch the show “Friday Night Lights”. Adrianne played Tyra on FNL. I’m sure Adrianne will pull off the Wonder Woman character nicely. Now I’m pretty excited for the new Wonder Woman show, bring it on!

Thought: One thing the Rock proved about his return to WWE last Monday…

What is one thing that the Rock proved at his return to Monday Night RAW last Monday? The only thing that the Rock proved is that he belongs in “wrestling”, not in the “movies”. It really is true if you think about it. Other wrestlers can leave wrestling and go to the movies, but not the Rock. The Rock is wrestling, he’s not a movie star, at all.

I mean, most of his movies in his filmography, didn’t do so well in the box offices. He only had a very few successful hits like, “The Scorpion King”, and “Get Smart” were his two biggest films. The other films he did okay in the box office. His last movie, “Faster”, pretty much flopped.

The Rock is known for wrestling forever. This is why, every time he makes movies, people beg him to return for wrestling. Wrestling fans felt that he left a good career behind him. Rock was at the top of his game 7 years ago, and suddenly, he left wrestling to do “The Scorpion King” and a bunch of other movies after that.

During Rock’s film career, he even tried to drop, “The Rock” name and go under his birth name to promote in the movies. That didn’t work out,  people still saw him as the Rock in wrestling. Every time he did an interview for TV, the interviewer can’t help but ask him if he’ll ever return to wrestling.

I said it before and will say it again. The Rock is a true wrestling icon. Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, etc. All those guys are icons as well, but they are not in the Rock’s league.

The reason everyone loves the Rock so much is because of his great mic skills and the sense of humor of his character. His character is very comical obviously. He’s like a comedian in wrestling. Plus, Dwayne’s mic work is very unique. The Rock is great at talking really fast without messing up a word, plus, he knows how to control a crowd. He does speeches better than any other wrestler. This is why people are obsessed with him. Even if people aren’t wrestling fans, the non-wrestling fans even like the Rock.

He’s a better actor in wrestling than he is in the movies. His acting in movies is okay, but nothing really special. The Rock is only good at action movies.

I’m glad Dwayne finally realized that he shouldn’t ignore wrestling. I’m sure he thought fans no longer cared for him after he left 7 years ago but he thought wrong. Fans still love the guy.

Steve Austin should take note. Austin left the WWE for the movies, so hopefully Austin won’t ignore wrestling completely. Austin sure didn’t ignore wrestling completely since he’s going to be host for this year’s “Tough Enough”, but hopefully Austin will make occasional appearances on RAW as well.

When the Rock came out to the ring last Monday on RAW, you can tell by the look of his eyes, he misses it. Of course, I don’t see Rock ditching his movie career at all for a full time wrestling return, though. He seems to want to be a “celebrity” than a wrestler. The only reason he got into wrestling ’cause he was born with it,  his entire Maivia. Samoan family were into it.

Yes, I know, I need a band…

When I’m showing you my electric guitar tracks which I record on Pro Tools, I know some of you thinking, these tracks need a back up band. Yes, I know. I’m still planning on it. When will I form a band? I’m going to try it, this year hopefully. I hear ya though, my electric guitar rock songs would sound MUCH better if they had a bass player and drummer backing it up.

What I could do, is look for musicians online to see if they are willing to help me put drums & bass behind my songs. As long as they have Pro Tools, do a musical online collaboration with other musicians, that’s an idea.

I would like my songs to have band back up, so they can be for radio airplay. I’m very serious on making an in your face, electric guitar rock demo, full band. I have a lot of musicians out there who are actual fans of my music, so I should have no problem.I really want full band material, pretty badly. I want to rock out and be part of the full band scene myself.

Maybe I’ll start looking for a band,  right away this Spring/Summer.

Report: Universal quickly gearing up to revive Terminator, now that Arnold is back in Hollywood…

Since Arnold made that tweet on his twitter page that he’s officially coming back to acting, it didn’t take long for Universal to get right to work on, “The Terminator” franchise. It’s no surprise to me that Universal have been waiting for Arnold to get done with his governor stuff so they can do another Terminator movie. Are they hoping that Arnold will finally agree to reprise his role as the T-800? Could the Terminator be Arnie’s first role back in Hollywood?

Universal is interested in Justin Lin to direct the next Terminator flick. The same director who made the last three “Fast and Furious” movies. Universal was going to continue the “Terminator: Salvation” trilogy with Christian Bale and Sam Worthington, but they ended up getting into a bankruptcy war against, Pacificor, so they had to end the new trilogy. So I don’t think that series would ever continue, so does that mean Universal is planning another Terminator re-boot? Start the series over again?

See the interesting report at, Deadline.

I don’t see how the writers will bring the T-800 Arnold model back, but they’ll carefully plan something. I think re-starting the franchise is a better idea. As long as they don’t make it a remake of the first Terminator film, I’m all for a re-boot.

I just want Arnold back as the Terminator. Hopefully he’ll agree to return for the fans. Don’t give me this, “he’s too old” crap. He’s only 63, Sly Stallone is older than him. If Stallone is still doing action movies, why can’t Arnie? I’m  sure Arnie is capable of doing his own stunts for action flicks, still. I’m sure he will do action films. His best friend, Sly, will inspire him to keep the action genre going.

BREAKING NEWS: Soundgarden announced they are working on new music for a new studio album!!!

I’ve been saying a long time hoping they would do this. They ARE! Soundgarden announced on their website, that the band is writing new music for a new Soundgarden record. As you all know, Soundgarden haven’t released a new record since 1996’s “Down on the Upside”. Yes, it was that long ago.

See the band’s announcement, here.

To be honest, I’m a little worried of how their new material is going to sound. Hopefully they won’t sound too pop like they did with the “Superunknown” and “Down on the Upside’ stuff. I hope they go back to old school metal of what they sounded like during their “Batmotorfinger” and “Louder Than Love” days.

Hope the band don’t disappoint us with their new record. Hope it’s going to be good, heavy, and rocking.

The Rock’s 5 Greatest feuds in WWE…

In celebration of the Rock’s long awaited return to WWE, I thought it would be pretty cool to talk about his greatest feuds from the past. Here are the Rock’s 5 best feuds in WWE, in my opinion.

  1. The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan – This is when the nWo first returned to the WWE. The goal was to destroy the company that Vince McMahon created, so Kevin Nash, Scott  Hall and Hulk Hogan was brought in. They ended up feuding with the Rock. Hulk Hogan was originally brought in as a heel, but Hogan’s heel turn didn’t work out so well because he kept getting cheers by the crowd during the Wrestlemania X8 – “Icon vs. Icon” match they did. That’s what forced Hogan to go back to the Red & Yellow, American Hero Hogan. It was a very powerful feud and one of my favorite story lines of all times.
  2. The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin – This is obviously one of Rock’s best feuds. It’s the reason it made the attitude era so great. They did that legendary match together at Wrestlemania 15, which is one of the greatest matches of all times. Then they had another match together at Wrestlemania 19.
  3. The Rock vs. Mick Foley – They’ve feuded for years and they’ve been friends in story lines, back and forth. Foley only had one Wrestlemania main event match which was at Wrestlemania 2000, it was a Fatal 4 Way match between Triple H, The Rock, Mick Foley, and the Big Show.
  4. The Rock vs. Bill Goldberg – This feud wasn’t very long but it was very good. Rock was a heel at this time, the WWE tried to give the Rock a heel turn but that didn’t work out so well, because the crowd would cheer for him no matter what he did. It was a really great feud though.
  5. The Rock vs. The Undertaker – Rocky had a big feud with ‘Taker in the late 90’s. They had a match together at a Survivor Series ppv which I remember, clearly. They had many great moments together, the Rock’s sense of humor, making fun of the Undertaker were pretty priceless. I’ll never forget this feud.

We shall have many more great Rock feuds up ahead. Rock vs. Cena should be entertaining at ‘Mania, but I have a bad feeling that the Rock will be feuding with CM Punk and the new Nexus very quickly. Nexus might be after the Rock at WM-27, so that night might end pretty bad for the Rock.
