BREAKING NEWS: Soundgarden announced they are working on new music for a new studio album!!!

I’ve been saying a long time hoping they would do this. They ARE! Soundgarden announced on their website, that the band is writing new music for a new Soundgarden record. As you all know, Soundgarden haven’t released a new record since 1996’s “Down on the Upside”. Yes, it was that long ago.

To be honest, I’m a little worried of how their new material is going to sound. Hopefully they won’t sound too pop like they did with the “Superunknown” and “Down on the Upside’ stuff. I hope they go back to old school metal of what they sounded like during their “Batmotorfinger” and “Louder Than Love” days.

Hope the band don’t disappoint us with their new record. Hope it’s going to be good, heavy, and rocking.

The Rock’s 5 Greatest feuds in WWE…

In celebration of the Rock’s long awaited return to WWE, I thought it would be pretty cool to talk about his greatest feuds from the past. Here are the Rock’s 5 best feuds in WWE, in my opinion.

  1. The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan – This is when the nWo first returned to the WWE. The goal was to destroy the company that Vince McMahon created, so Kevin Nash, Scott  Hall and Hulk Hogan was brought in. They ended up feuding with the Rock. Hulk Hogan was originally brought in as a heel, but Hogan’s heel turn didn’t work out so well because he kept getting cheers by the crowd during the Wrestlemania X8 – “Icon vs. Icon” match they did. That’s what forced Hogan to go back to the Red & Yellow, American Hero Hogan. It was a very powerful feud and one of my favorite story lines of all times.
  2. The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin – This is obviously one of Rock’s best feuds. It’s the reason it made the attitude era so great. They did that legendary match together at Wrestlemania 15, which is one of the greatest matches of all times. Then they had another match together at Wrestlemania 19.
  3. The Rock vs. Mick Foley – They’ve feuded for years and they’ve been friends in story lines, back and forth. Foley only had one Wrestlemania main event match which was at Wrestlemania 2000, it was a Fatal 4 Way match between Triple H, The Rock, Mick Foley, and the Big Show.
  4. The Rock vs. Bill Goldberg – This feud wasn’t very long but it was very good. Rock was a heel at this time, the WWE tried to give the Rock a heel turn but that didn’t work out so well, because the crowd would cheer for him no matter what he did. It was a really great feud though.
  5. The Rock vs. The Undertaker – Rocky had a big feud with ‘Taker in the late 90’s. They had a match together at a Survivor Series ppv which I remember, clearly. They had many great moments together, the Rock’s sense of humor, making fun of the Undertaker were pretty priceless. I’ll never forget this feud.

We shall have many more great Rock feuds up ahead. Rock vs. Cena should be entertaining at ‘Mania, but I have a bad feeling that the Rock will be feuding with CM Punk and the new Nexus very quickly. Nexus might be after the Rock at WM-27, so that night might end pretty bad for the Rock.

How long does the Rock plan on sticking with WWE?

I’m guessing the Rock’s return to WWE is full time, at least for a long while. I believe Dwayne is taking a break from Hollywood so he can return for us wrestling fans. People may think he’ll just be around for Wrestlemania and then leave WWE again to go back to Hollywood, but I don’t think so. I think he plans on sticking around longer than that.

If he was just in WWE for part time then, Dwayne wouldn’t have made his official facebook page and twitter, which is promoting his wrestling career, not acting in film. Plus, more evidence that Dwayne plans on sticking around longer is that WWE made a new Titantron entrance video for him, shown below.

I think he wants to have one last match against John Cena. Which will be cool. A Rock vs. Cena feud never happened before and it’s about time that it should happen. I would like that feud to happen even if I’m no fan of Cena either. We need to prove who the real wrestling icon is. Cena is no wrestling icon, he’s just a poser. The Rock is the true wrestling icon, we all know that.

I’m happy to finally see the Rock back ’cause it’s getting old having Cena take over the whole show all the time. Triple H will be returning soon too, so we’ll soon have some of the big main eventers back. I don’t think the Rock will wrestle matches,  he’s just at WWE to perform. It might be possible that he could have his final and last match against Cena though. Cena vs. The Rock should be the main event at WM-27, but it’s probably gonna be Cena vs. The Miz w/ the Rock as special guest referee.

New original song: “Egyptian Freedom”

When I say I’m going to start writing songs about stuff that goes on in the news from this point on, I really meant what I said. Here’s another topical song, titled, “Egyptian Freedom”, and you guess it, the song’s about the controversial protest in Cairo, Egypt. The song needed to be angry and pissed off, so I made it a straight up rock song. Song still needs work but it’s just a draft and an idea.

I’ll edit in the lyrics soon. Enjoy.

Stephanie McMahon is the anonymous RAW GM???

On RAW last night, before the Rock was announced Wrestlemania guest host, RAW showed footage of a woman’s legs stepping out of a long black limo. They just showed her legs, and not her face, keeping this woman anonymous. So since they kept her anonymous, she is obviously the RAW anonymous GM. When I saw that, Stephanie McMahon immediately came to my head.

It’s no surprise to me that one of the McMahon’s could be the RAW GM. Ridiculous, in my opinion. I was hoping the GM would be Jericho or Batista.

Want to see “Memento” 10 year Anniversary screening this Thursday night?

Before “The Dark Knight” and “Inception”, in my opinion, it was , “Memento” that I thought was Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece. If you haven’t seen, “Memento”, I’d suggest you see it soon. It is Nolan’s best storytelling. More creative and unique than, “Inception”.

On Thursday Feb. 17th, there will be special screenings to celebrate the 10 year Anniversary of “Memento”, being shown in selected theaters. The event is being held by Cinedigm which is owned by Lionsgate studios. See the list of theaters, here.

If the film is being shown in your area, I’d suggest you go. If you see this film, you would understand why he did the Batman films and, “Inception”. Read their press release, here.

BREAKING NEWS: The Rock is finally back in WWE!!!

Yes, the Rock is finally back in the WWE. You heard that right. After a 7 year hiatus, the Rock have finally returned to tonight’s RAW. He didn’t appear in a titatron video screen, he appeared in the ring in person, himself. It was really him. 7 years ago, the Rock left WWE to pursue a movie career. Starring in a slew of movies such as, “The Scorpion King”, “The Run Down”, “Walking Tall”, “Be Cool”, “Get Smart”, “Tooth Fairy”, “Faster” and the recent “Fast and Furious 5”.

Look like the Rock will take a break from movies and stick around WWE for a little while, on RAW tonight, he just said he’s on RAW for a while full time, not just for Wrestlemania.

Could the Rock vs. John Cena at Wrestlemania 27 actually happen? The Rock came out to the ring to call out John Cena. The Rock mentioned that Cena was talking trash about the Rock while he was gone. I remember that. Remember, in interviews Cena accused Rock of backing out of WWE for a movie career, backstabbing wrestling fans.

For years, wrestling fans have begged the Rock to come back. We all knew he would be back, it was only a matter of time. The Rock waited for Valentine’s Day to make his official return.

I’m glad to see the Rock back. It’s about time. The Rock looks great and he’s looking ripped. He still cuts a great promo like he always had and the fans still love him. Now the Rock is Wrestlemania guest host, this leaves him out of the RAW Anonymous GM thing.

I kind of new the Rock was going to return tonight ’cause he already gave a hint about it on his official facebook page.

I’m very happy that Dwayne is finally in WWE. Congrats Dwayne!

Dark Chocolate is actually very healthy

Are you into fitness and need your Chocolate for Valentine’s day? In Facebook the other day, I suggested everyone that Dark Chocolate is the most healthy chocolate out there. Study says that Dark Chocolate is very healthy. If you don’t believe me look it up yourself.

When people get into fitness, they think they can stay away from junk for good. Dark Chocolate is part of a meal plan. It won’t make you fat and it will keep you in shape. It is better than regular chocolate. Regular chocolate is bad, but Dark is better.

Google – Dark Chocolate and Health or Fitness, and almost every article, says “yes” to dark chocolate. For V-Tines day, I got a small bag of dark chocolate. If you need your chocolate fix, “dark” is the best way to go.

It won’t ruin your six pack and you won’t lose muscle with dark chocolate.  I love dark chocolate. I don’t eat it  all the time, but once in a while. I wouldn’t even call “dark chocolate” a cheat meal, it actually can be part of a healthy meal plan.

Thought: After Jagger’s performance at the Grammy’s, will there finally be a Stones reunion???

I know what everyone is thinking. After Jagger’s surprising appearance at the Grammy’s, it was also his very first Grammy appearance ever, believe it or not, I’m sure people wonder if there is an upcoming Rolling Stones reunion in the works. The Stones haven’t done anything in music since 2007’s “A Bigger Bang” tour.

Over the years during their hiatus, they’ve been releasing re-issues like “Exile On Main St.” and other projects.

Let the Stones reunion speculation begin. I’m sure it’s already begun.

After all these years, Jagger and the Stones been gone, Jagger still has it. He can still get the audience going wild.

Report: Radiohead announces new album, “The King of Limbs” to be released this Saturday on the web…

Radiohead decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day today with their fans, by announcing a new album titled, “The King Of Limbs” which will be available at, this website, Saturday. This really shows that Thom Yorke and the gang really love their fans, and they wanted to give them a Valentine’s gift by doing this.

I’m a Radiohead fan, as I have listened to all of their albums including, “In Rainbows”, so I’m looking forward to their new one.

I’ll wait for the new album to get on Itunes though, it’ll be on there soon.
