Carrie Fisher pressured to lose weight for “The Force Awakens” movie…

Carrie Fisher just made a confession that the crew behind “The Force Awakens” movie pressured her to lose weight so she can reprise her role as Princess Leia (or General Leia, just read that she’ll be a General now).

I’m sure the only reason Carrie agreed to take their request and lose the pounds is ’cause she didn’t want to lose the role. If she refused to lose the weight, they probably would have fired her. Back when she was young, she used to be really beautiful and gorgeous but she changed over the years as she got older. They wanted her to lose the weight so Leia can look young and beautiful again.

I can’t blame the crew though ’cause nobody wants to see Leia being a fat cow, ya know? They just wanted to make her appearance in the film right.

Can’t wait for the movie, though. It comes out in a couple of weeks!

Rambo will make comeback but will return to the small screen first, “Rambo V” is put on hold…

News on a new Rambo film has been pretty quiet lately and finally we got some news. Rambo will be making his comeback soon but first it will be to the small screen instead of the big screen. Yes, there is a Rambo TV series in development for FOX and Sylvester Stallone will indeed reprise his role as John J. Rambo for the TV show. The TV show will be a father and son duo.

Yes, “Rambo V” for the big screen is still happening but it is put on hold ’cause Sly has too many other projects in the works including “The Expendables” TV series which is still being planned as well.

‘Rambo: New Blood’ Father-Son TV Series In Works At Fox With Sylvester Stallone

So Rambo has a son now, hey? They’re probably gonna go for a plot idea that John Rambo finds out that he has a long lost son that he never knew he had and they meet for the first time. Sounds like an interesting idea.

Kind of funny though ’cause I just rewatched the first three Rambo films over the weekend and those films never get old. I’ll have to admit that the fourth Rambo film was kind of a let-down so hopefully Sly doesn’t direct “Rambo V” film ’cause I’ll admit that Sly isn’t the best director at all. He’s a talented actor, no doubt but I’m not afraid to say that he’s a bad director. He should stick with acting and not directing.

When Sly is ready to play Rambo again for the TV show, he’ll probably grow his long hair back for the role ’cause Rambo with short hair would be kind of silly.

Yep, I’m still a huge die-hard fan of Sly and always will be loyal to the guy. I’m looking forward to seeing “Creed” this week.

Only two more movies to see for the rest of the year and that’s it!

There are only two more movies left for me to see for the rest of the year. What movies are they? I’m planning to see “Creed” next which is the new Rocky movie and I’m planning on seeing it this week. Of course, we have “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” coming out in a few weeks. After I see these two films, I’ll get right to work on my yearly “Top 15” movies list for 2015.

Instead of writing the list on my blog, I’ll do the list on video instead. I’ll soon get to work on the top 10 music albums of 2015 as well.

Will “The Force Awakens” be my choice for no. 1 movie of the year? I’m hoping but I’ll wait to see it first. Hopefully JJ won’t let us down but I’m sure it’ll be a great film.

The HI-C Ecto Cooler could be making a comeback to help promote new “Ghostbusters” film…

Paul Feig’s all-female “Ghostbusters” won’t be getting released until July of 2016. Before then, you can expect the “Ghostbusters” marketing to get pretty heavy. The new Ghostbusters will be on most food products that you will see in the grocery store including juice boxes, cereal boxes and all that stuff.

Well, Coca-cola maybe bringing back the old Ecto Cooler which I think I used to drink when I was young back in the day.

Since the Slimer drink could be making a comeback that’s a pretty good indication that the character Slimer will indeed return to the new “Ghostbusters” film.

Whatever it takes to get people interested in this film, I guess. That’s probably the only reason this drink might be making a comeback since this film is getting so much negative criticism.

Marketing will get heavy for this film around the Spring & Summer time in 2016 so be ready, y’all. Marketing is always heavy each time a new “Ghostbusters” film is out.

Next Gremlins film will not be a reboot after all, it’ll be a third installment to the trilogy…

Zach Galligan who played Billy in Gremlins 1 and 2 attended a screening event of the first Gremlins movie in London and he said a “Gremlins 3” is definitely happening. There’s a pretty good chance that he might be reprising his role as Billy in the third one too. The plot to the third installment of Gremlins is unknown at this time but it will probably be something like taken place 30 years later after the first one.

It be pretty cool if Corey Feldman would return to this movie as well.

Like most, I’m a huge fan of the first “Gremlins” movie. Never cared for the 2nd one, though but the first one will always be a classic. I’ve been a huge fan of the first one long before the internet was around. It was one of my favorite movies as a young kid and still is one of my favorite films!

If there was ever a Rambo reboot, who does Sly want as a replacement???

Sly Stallone is out doing a bunch of TV interviews to promote his new movie, “Creed” in which Rocky Balboa returns. The interviewer asked Sly an interesting question that if Rambo got replaced, who would Sly want to be playing Rambo next whenever Sly is done with the franchise?

There is probably gonna end up being a “Rambo” reboot. Sly is gonna do one more Rambo himself and after that he’s done. Hollywood will probably reboot Rambo after “Rambo V”.

So who does Sly want as a replacement? Sly replied Ryan Gosling and I agree! Ryan Gosling would make an excellent replacement. In case you didn’t realize, Ryan Gosling had a hand in starring in some action movies over the years. Ryan can be a pretty tough and violent guy especially in movies like “Drive”, “The Place Beyond The Pines” and “Gangster Squad”.

Ryan would make a great replacement. While Ryan’s got a good enough bodybuilding physique, he’s gonna have to be even bigger for the Rambo role, though ’cause you know how huge Sly was for Rambo II & III, Sly was massive back in the day. Ryan’s gonna have to get huge muscles for that role for sure. Great choice, Sly! I agree.

Now that “The Hunger Games” franchise is finally finished expect a DVD/BluRay boxset of the whole series soon…

I love “The Hunger Games” movies. I know these movies were meant for the young adult audience but man, I tell ya that these movies tell an actual story which is why I love them. The storytelling in these movies are pretty smart and intelligent. Plus the acting of the cast and the action scenes are pretty entertaining as hell. These are pretty violent movies to be considered “young adult”, in my opinion. Even though this franchise was aimed at the young audience, full grown adults have been enjoying them anyways as you’ve noticed… each time I go see a Hunger Games movie in the theater… you never see young people in theaters. Most of the franchises audiences are full grown adults from 30 – 50 years of age. You hardly ever see teens and 20 years olds in the audiences of “Hunger Games” movies ’cause believe me, I’ve seen them all.

I wanted to get all of these movies on BluRay but I didn’t get any of them yet ’cause I was waiting for the boxset to come out of all 4 movies in one set. Now they are finally done with the movies expect a big release of the boxset coming soon. I’m sure the Hunger Games boxset would be coming out sometime next year. I’m betting the Hunger Games boxset would come out next year sometime before Christmas in 2016 ’cause they would make a nice Holiday gift.

I just saw “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 2” as I thought it was the best one of the series. It’s a fitting end to the series for sure. Is this the end of the Hunger Games franchise for good? I wouldn’t be surprised if Hollywood would plan some kind of spinoff, though. Could there be one more “Hunger Games” book by Suzanne Collins? The director says he would make more Hunger Games movies as long as Suzanne Collins would keep writing more books to continue the story:

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/More-Hunger-Games-Movies-One-Condition-Director-Says-95387.html

I agree. It wouldn’t be right for Hollywood to continue the movies without Suzanne Collins so I hope she does more books. I think she will continue the books since she knows that the films are successful. I haven’t read all three books. I’ve only read the first book but will read the other two soon when I get around to it.

The Hunger Games is a great franchise.

“One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” film celebrates it’s 40th Anniversary today…

“One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” is one of my favorite films ever made. It’s pretty much in my top ten list. It’s one of those movies I’ll never get tired of watching even if I watched it like a 100 times, I could watch it a 100 more times. This movie never gets old even if it was released 40 years ago today. It’s just an entertaining as hell movie all the way through and it’s definitely one of Nicholson’s best films for sure.

A film about a guy with a criminal past is sent to a mental ward as ordered by the court. McMurphy tries to make life in the institution enjoyable and fun by making friends with the other inmates staying there. McMurphy is the only “sane” guy there but he can’t leave the institution on his own will while all the others have the freedom to walk out anytime they want to. The Nurse Ratched is abusive to the inmates so they decided to take matters in their own hands by fighting back at her.

I still have this movie in my DVD collection. It’s a classic film for sure and a masterpiece.

Spoilers could be a huge problem for “The Force Awakens” beware…

11988522_1660582640865318_4365249526402448644_n

People maybe getting mad at spoilers from your favorite TV shows like “Game of Thrones” and “The Walking Dead” but beware, spoilers for “The Force Awakens” could get a lot worse. If you want to avoid spoilers as best as possible for “The Force Awakens” avoid reading reviews, avoid reading comments sections of the Star Wars facebook page, avoid reading the comments sections in blogs and forums talking about the movie. You get the deal. Even worse, your facebook newsfeeds could be full of them which will be harder to avoid. I know when people go see “The Force Awakens”, people are going to want to talk about the story for sure. Nothing wrong with talking about the story of films but try to put a “spoiler warning” and then that will make it easier for people to decide whether they want to read it or not. A lot of people don’t care to put “spoiler warnings” these days. I do it all the time on my blogs. It’s pretty easy to do.

10 inevitable reboot movie series that could happen…

Last night on Netflix, I’ve decided to re-watch “Crocodile Dundee 1 and 2”. You know those comedy films about a crocodile hunter starring Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski? I’ve watched both movies back to back last night. Yes, both movies are still amazing. I’ve seen both of these movies over 100 times and these Crocodile Dundee movies never get old. After I finished watching the 2nd one, I immediately thought to myself… “I have a feeling a reboot is gonna happen to the Crocodile Dundee” series.

Now that Hollywood is all obsessed with reboots what other possible reboot series that could happen sometime in the future? Reboot series that hasn’t been greenlighted yet.

Here are 10 guesses of inevitable reboots that could happen in no particular order:

  • Crocodile Dundee: I think everybody knows that this could probably happen. I don’t mind a “Dundee” reboot series but as long as Paul Hogan is still involved in some way. Maybe he can still write the script and not star?
  • Rambo:  This could probably happen. Sly Stallone plans to do one more Rambo himself and then he’s done. After that, I think a Rambo reboot will get greenlighted.
  • Lethal Weapon: I can see this one happening for sure.
  • Back to the Future: Rumors are already swirling. Robert Zemeckis said he wouldn’t let it happen but ya never know.
  • Die Hard: This could happen once Bruce Willis decides to retire from them.
  • The Godfather: Oh man, imagine if they  re-started this series all over again. I wouldn’t be surprised if this reboot is coming. Not sure if Francis Ford Coppola would allow it, though.
  • The Hannibal Lecter film series: They could reboot this one anytime. Would be great for Halloween time.
  • Gremlins: I think there’s already one being planned. Not sure.
  • Star Trek: Whenever Paramount/Bad Robot gets done with those lame Star Trek movies with the young cast, they will probably do a whole new Star Trek reboot but when they do, please make something original and new.
  • Harry Potter: Rumors are already swirling on this one too. Since Daniel Radcliffe no longer wants to do Harry Potter and he wants to move on, I’m feeling Warner Bros. is gonna go ahead without him soon. J.K. Rowling will probably write new Harry Potter books for them to make more movies on.

There’s the list. Enjoy!
