Mel Gibson surprises Tom Hardy and fans by showing up at the “Mad Max: Fury Road” premiere!

While it’s sad that Mel Gibson is no longer involved in the “Mad Max” franchise, it’s great to see that Mel still gets their support and his blessing. Mel Gibson, the man himself makes a surprise appearance at the “Mad Max: Fury Road” premiere. George Miller the director admitted that the reason he didn’t have Mel star in the next installment ’cause he was worried that the cast and crew would hate Mel on set due to all of Mel’s past troubles. It seems that Mel wasn’t invited to the premiere, he just showed up to surprise them. Mel was all smiles and hugging everybody, looking real good. George and everybody else never expected Mel to be there so it was a surprise for sure. Mel showed up as a way to show them that he has no beef with anybody. He’s all cool with them!

I am planning to see the new “Mad Max” movie ’cause I’m a big fan of these movies.

Meryl Streep plays a rock star in “Ricki and the Flash” movie, interesting…

Wow. This is the kind of role that I thought Meryl Streep would ever play. It’s a different role for her for sure. It’s about a woman who gives up everything to try to become a rock n’ roll star but then she tries to give up her rock star dreams to return to her family.

This movie actually looks interesting to me and I might check this one out.

I think “Saw” is the greatest horror movie franchise, love this series so much!! WOW!!!

In the past, I’ve only seen the first “Saw” film which is an amazing film and a masterpiece for sure. I haven’t seen all the other “Saw” flicks until now. I’ve watched the first three on Netflix streaming and so far, I’m very impressed with these films. I never watched the other “Saw” films ’cause I thought they would be the same to me, just a bunch of people playing a game just to survive. Turns out the series is more than just that.

The storytelling in this franchise is actually very intelligent and thought provoking!

We have horror film franchises such as “Friday the 13th”, “Halloween”, “Nightmare on Elm St.”, “Child’s Play”, etc. All of ’em are great, don’t get me wrong but I think “Saw” is the best of them all.

I think Tobin Bell is a badass. Tobin’s character John Kramer & Jigsaw maybe evil and totally psychotic and messed up but Kramer is actually a pretty likeable villain.

I’m trying to watch all 7 Saw films. Netflix only has the first four available through streaming but I’m gonna have to rent the other three on DVD. I might even forget about watching them through Netflix and just buy the complete Saw series on BluRay boxset, I probably will.

“SAW” is an excellent franchise though. Most slasher films don’t have a plot but all of the “SAW” movies do have a plot which helps make them watchable. I’m probably gonna watch “SAW IV” later tonight. Now I understand why the SAW franchise is so popular.

Actually, I think starting “Indiana Jones” all over again might be a pretty good idea!!!

Kathleen Kennedy confirms that the next Indiana Jones film is definitely happening but they don’t know when yet. However, when they do finally move the film forward, I expect Harrison not to return to the role ’cause he’s getting too old for the role obviously so I’m thinking it maybe best to replace him with someone else.

http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/lucasfilm-new-indiana-jones-film-in-the-works-20150506

On top of that, an Indiana Jones reboot would be pretty interesting as long as they don’t make it an exact remake of the original trilogy. They shouldn’t remake, “Raiders” at all and just make an original film. Their own idea and their own story.

I used to be against Indy moving on with Harrison and re-booting but hey, what are you gonna do? Harrison getting too old to play the role and he’ll probably be 80 by the time the film starts going.

Do you really want George Lucas and Steven Spielberg back? If they did, be on the lookout for more goofy scenes like the fridge explosion. So you should thank Disney for finally getting rid of Lucas.

I enjoyed “The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” film but my only problems with it was Shia Labeouf being in it and yes, I’ll have to agree that the fridge explosion was kind of wacky. Other than that, I thought mixing Indy and sci-fi together was an interesting concept!

I’m such a huge Indy fan, though. I loved “Raiders”, “Temple of Doom” and “The Last Crusade” as well. Of course, “Raiders” is the best Indy film… that film is classic.

Could Indy be successful without Harrison? I’d say yes. I think an Indy film without Harrison could be a box office smash if they made it right. I think this franchise was meant to last forever just like Star Wars, Star Trek, and James Bond… ya know?

Settle down internet!! Kevin Bacon’s fat look is probably for a movie role…

Actor Kevin Bacon posted a selfie on his twitter page that sent the internet into a frenzy. He’s being accused of eating a lot and gaining weight but I’m sure he didn’t. He’s in the UK, probably filming a movie and this is a character he’s probably playing. If you noticed in the background, you can see a trailer that he just stepped off of which is probably the makeup department on a movie set. That’s what all that is on his face, it’s all makeup for a movie role. That’s really good makeup job, though. I’m sure it took the makeup artist hours to do.

Kevin Bacon is one of my favorite actors, though. He has been for many years. He plays a good role in that TV show, “The Following”.

Film Review: “Avengers: Age of Ultron”…

Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson

Directed by: Joss Whedon

Today, I’ve just seen the new Avengers movie and here is my review:

Plot/Synopsis: When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for a global adventure.

The new Avengers movie, “Age of Ultron” was real good. This film is getting a lot of negative criticism but I thought it was better than the first one. People are complaining that this film has way too many characters but keep in mind that this is the Avengers. It’s supposed to have a lot of characters. The Avengers is a superhero group that is supposed to get bigger and bigger. So you can expect the third Avengers movie to add even more characters. If you’re complaining this film has too many characters, I assume you’ve never read the comics before ’cause the comics had way too many characters. If you’ve read the comics, you would see that the Avengers can go up to 10 members or more. Same thing with the X-Men.

The action in this movie was more fun and exciting than the first movie. I understand how people are upset with no Loki but hey can’t have the same villain in every movie. Gotta give other villains a chance ’cause there were plenty of other villains other than Loki in the Avengers comics. What’s great in Avengers 2 you get to see a lot more Hulk when you didn’t see him that much in the first one. I like Mark Ruffalo, he’s a really good actor, probably the best actor of this cast, in my opinion.

“Age of Ultron” was really fun and a blast to watch. I’ll give it a score of 5 out of 5 as in “excellent”.

Some interesting character news from the “Star Wars: the Force Awakens”…

Since today is Star Wars day, I thought it be cool to give you some interesting Star Wars news in the upcoming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” coming out in Dec.

First off, who is “Game of Thrones” star Gwendoline Christie is playing? Well, Gwendoline’s character is gonna be Captain Phasma, who is that armored stormtrooper with that large gun you see in the second trailer. So Gwendoline’s character was seen in the trailer. Pretty cool. Gwendoline was heavily armored as Brienne Maid of Tarth in “Games of Thrones” and looks like she’s gonna be heavily armored again in Star Wars.

In this article you can see Adam Driver as Kylo Ren unmasked and they reveal who Lupita Nyongo will be playing. Lupita will be playing a CGI character named, Maz Kanata.

For some reason though, they are not letting us see Luke Skywalker yet. Wonder why JJ is being secretive on Luke? There’s gotta be some deep story with Luke that we don’t know about yet. I’d like to see the new Leia too.

I really can’t wait for “The Force Awakens” like most people, though.

“The Equalizer” sequel is confirmed by Sony pictures but will Denzel return???

Kind of funny ’cause I’ve just finally seen the movie, “The Equalizer” with Denzel Washington just last week. It is a great film and a great mobster story. You know, I love mobster stories. Sony Pictures just confirmed, “The Equalizer” is getting a sequel and Denzel is probably gonna return. Sony is planning this to be the next big franchise. Which is kind of weird ’cause Denzel has never done sequels or big franchises. So I guess you can say that this is gonna be his first major movie franchise. He’s never done sequels in his career, look at his filmography for proof on that.

Denzel is a phenomenal talent and he kills it in this movie like he does with every movie. When you watch a movie starring Denzel, you know it’s never gonna disappoint. “Training Day” will always be my favorite role of his, of course. I also loved his role in the movie “Flight” by Robert Zemeckis. I’ve been watching Denzel in movies for many years and I’m sure you’ve had too. He’s a great talent. One of the best actors in Hollywood, I would say.

If you haven’t seen “The Equalizer” yet… you should. He plays a badass tough guy in this movie but make no mistake about it, folks. This isn’t the first time he played a badass tough guy. He played a similar tough guy role in the film, “The Book of Eli” which is also a great movie. Denzel is the freakin’ man. He’s my favorite too.

Mark Hamill admits to being a little skeptical of JJ doing Star Wars 7 “The Force Awakens”…

Pretty interesting. Mark Hamill is just like most of Star Wars fans. He at first was a little skeptical of JJ directing Star Wars. He was a little “cautious” about it but then Hamill admits he jumped aboard the Star Wars 7 cast ’cause he was afraid that the die-hards would get angry at him and would probably protest if he said “No”.

I agree that would happen if Mark Hamill said no to returning. I mean, look at what Billy Dee Williams is going through. Billy Dee is not playing Lando in “The Force Awakens” and a lot of fans are upset about it. That is probably why Harrison and Carrie had to jump aboard the film as well to avoid an angry mob of fans. Everyone was expecting a Star Wars reunion. They got everybody except for Billy Dee obviously. Who knows, maybe Billy Dee still has a surprising cameo appearance in “The Force Awakens” though… we’ll have to wait and see. JJ is always full of surprises and secrets.

Luke Skywalker is probably not gonna be in “The Force Awakens” that much but at least he’ll be in it. It’s looking like that Han Solo is gonna get the most screen time for “The Force Awakens”.

I can’t wait for this film, though. I hope this will be the “Star Wars” film that we all can walk out of the theaters with huge smiles on our faces this time. I’m sure that will happen.

“Batman vs. Superman” teaser thoughts…

Looks okay, I guess. Kind of skeptical of this film, honestly. I was honestly hoping for  a “Man of Steel” sequel instead. This is just a teaser, though so maybe the next trailer will be a lot better… who knows.

I’m not that crazy about the Ben Affleck, Batman to be honest with you. I’ll probably still see this film but thinking about waiting for DVD rental on it.

I’m not sold on “Batman vs. Superman” yet.
