Report: Eminem goes to Elton John to get clean, instead of going to rehab….

Reports going around the web, saying that rapper Eminem is going to his longtime friend, Elton John, for help on getting clean. Yes, it does seem that Eminem and Elton are very close friends. The two collaborated on one of Eminem’s songs called, “Stan”.

Eminem’s new album, “Relapse” are all songs about him struggling with prescription pills addiction. Elton John is willing to help anyone get clean knowing from his own experience of being addicted to pills.

Report: Child abuse organizations trying to get the Who off the Superbowl gig….

As predicted, Child Abuse organizations are desperately trying to get the Who off the Superbowl halftime gig. The Who were officially booked to play this year’s Superbowl halftime. As some may know, Pete Townshend was in trouble years back by looking up child pornography online as for research from his own child abuse experience as a child for an autobiography he was writing. He admitted to doing it but he was cleared of the charges after knowing it was just research.

BREAKING NEWS: Soundgarden is reuniting, yes, this is for real!

Chris Cornell announced on his official website, that Soundgarden is officially reuniting for a tour and a possible new album. Look like the band’s been waiting to announce this on New Year’s Day. Yes, that means Chris Cornell, Kim Thayill, Ben Sheperd, and Matt Cameron are all coming back! This is the best news I’ve heard in years ’cause Soundgarden is one of my favorite bands and they’re heros of mine. They’re one of the most unique and powerful metal bands out there. I loved all of their music. When they go on tour in 2010 and if they come to Albany for the Times Union Center, I’m so fucking there! Soundgarden coming back after 12 years! This is awesome. Most band reunions are silly and stupid, but this is an important one that is worth happening. I hope they come out with a new album, they probably will.

Why “Bad Santa” is the best Christmas movie ever made…

Hey all, and Merry Christmas! Hope you are having a great day so far! I sure am!

A lot of people like to watch, the classic Jimmy Stewart movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life” or “A Christmas Story” every year on Christmas Eve. I used to watch those two movies every year on Christmas but until the comedy, “Bad Santa” came out, things have changed. I now watch, “Bad Santa” every year on Christmas Eve. It’s the comedy that stars Billy Bob Thornton, John Ritter and Bernie Mac.

I think “Bad Santa”, is the best Christmas movie ever made. Yes, the movie is rude and crude, has a lot of nasty adult content that is definitely not for kids. There is a reason for all that in the film to explain this Bad Santa thing. I think the film is simply, the most realistic Christmas movie ever made. I find that most Christmas movies out there that has a lot of fantasy tales that doesn’t even make sense. “Bad Santa” is a movie that makes a lot of sense, and it is real. In real life, there are actual mall Santa’s out there that are short tempered drunks and there are actual mall Santa’s that are criminals.

Other than the hilarious crude humour in the film, the film is also very touching and heartfelt. I love the fact how Willie hates everything about Christmas, it’s like a new version of Ebeneezer Scrooge, close enough. He becomes friends with this little fat kid, because the kid saved Willie from getting butt raped by a guy from a bar. Then Willie helps the kid, Murman Therman, in return by helping him fight back at school bullies. Later in the film, Willie develops a strong friendship with the kid.

More importantly, the thing I loved most about the film is seeing John Ritter and Bernie Mac, acting together in the same scenes. Both are comedy legends and both are dead. RIP, to both of them.

There are many reasons why this film is so great. It’s a controversial film and it’s not for everyone, yes. Bad mall Santa’s can happen for real and it has. As I said, most Christmas movies out there are not realistic but mostly in it for family entertainment. I loved everything about, the “Bad Santa” movie. Non stop laughs, good writing, good acting, etc. This is a film I will never get tired of.

Report: Is Courtney Love abusive and violent to Frances Bean???

That’s what TMZ says. This could explain Frances Bean wanting a permanent restraining order against her own Mom, Courtney Love. Courtney could be abusive and violent to her.

I’m sure those who don’t know much about law, you’re probably thinking, what, I thought “domestic violence” only happens with straight couples?

Well, parents being violent toward their own children can also be considered, “Domestic violence”. Look it up and research it. We all knew that Courtney could have violent mood swings and a temper tantrum, so this comes to no surprise to me. Frances is doing a good thing getting the hell away from this bitch.

Report: Jimmy Page ready to rock again…but not revealing what he’s doing yet…

Robert Plant is busy making music with Alison Krauss, John Paul Jones is busy with Dave Grohl for the band, Them Crooked Vultures. Jimmy Page is the only Led Zeppelin member, not doing anything musically at this point and this guy is not waiting any longer!!! He’s dying to make new music and get back on the road again!

Jimmy Page admits he hasn’t done anything since the 02 Led Zeppelin reunion show two years ago and he feels it’s about time to do something new again. He has new music up his sleeve and ready to share it with us.

While he won’t reveal what he has planned for us, he definitely plans on coming back to the music industry in 2010.

Jimmy Page has been well known to collaborate with other artists for years and I wonder what artists will he work with next? It wouldn’t surprise me if he is collaborating with Jack White and the Edge, for an album and tour. Probably is. If I’m wrong, can’t wait to see what Jimmy has got planned. Sounds exciting!

BREAKING NEWS: John Frusciante quits the Chilli Peppers…

This is sad news and a real shame too. John Frusciante announced he has officially quit, the Chilli Peppers. He left a few times before, but I think this time, it’s for good.

Really sad because he is the reason I became a fan of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers to begin with. He’s an amazing guitarist with a unique style. I always saw him as a young version of Jimi Hendrix.

The Chilli Peppers went through several guitarists over the years of their career. I think Frusciante perfected the Chilli Pepper’s sound. Frusciante made the Chilli Pepper’s signature music. Kiedis and Flea will probably replace him, but in my opinion, Frusciante can’t be replaced.

I don’t think I’ll support the Chilli Peppers anymore ’cause it’s going to be weird without Frusciante. Can’t hear the band without him. I thought Frusciante was the main guy for the band and he has always been an important member of the band.

The Chilli Peppers will fail without him. This news sucks. Why, John, Why? It’s too early!

Report: Brian Setzer hospitalized in New Mexico…

Brian Setzer is currently on tour with the Brian Setzer orchestra playing Christmas music. He was briefly hospitalized in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was unable to finish his set ’cause he got sick. He will continue the rest of the tour as planned.

I didn’t even know Brian was back with his orchestra band. I love Brian Setzer, admired his guitar playing and songwriting for many years.

He was only huge and mainstream for one album which was the Brian Setzer Orchestra’s “The Dirty Boogie”. Everything else he did after that, no one cared for. I still follow Brian’s career even if he isn’t that popular and well known anymore.

While away from his orchestra in the past, he put out a few very good solo albums that I loved. I love his rockabilly guitar and admire how he tries to keep old school 50’s rock alive.

I wish the mainstream would pay more attention to real musicians like Brian instead of wasting money on shit like Lady Gaga and Beyonce.

Ladies and gents, new Hall of Famers has just been inducted. Congratulations to Genesis, The Stooges, Jimmy Cliff, The Hollies, and Abba.

They totally ignored LL Cool J, the Chilli Peppers, and Kiss. Weird. Kiss is probably getting frustrated and pissed off that they keep getting ditched by the Hall of Fame, lol.

Genesis and The Stooges are two bands that I love, and I’m happy they are finally in!
