Thought: Jennifer Hudson singing the National Anthem tonight…how will she do?

With just a few hours away from the Superbowl tonight, Jennifer Hudson will open to sing the National Anthem. How will she do? Will she sing it great? Will she get nervous and lose her voice? We’ll have to watch and see. She is such a beautiful and hot woman, can’t wait to see what she’ll be wearing tonight as well, hope she’ll wear something to show off her big cleavage. She probably will like she almost always does when she wears dresses. Can’t wait to see her tonight. I’ll post my thoughts right after her performance. I’m sure she’ll sing well. Hopefully they let her sing live and not lip synching.

Cool Video: Metallica fan interviews Lars Ulrich backstage at a concert…

A young Metallica fan who won a radio station contest where you get to interview Lars Ulrich backstage at a Metallica concert, makes his dream of meeting a Metallica member come true.

The fan asks Lars how is the relationship between Metallica and Dave Mustaine is today, Lars said even if they don’t get along well, Lars and the rest of the band still has respect toward Dave and Megadeth. So Metallica has no personal hatred over Dave like Lars said, so it might be possible that Metallica could get Dave to induct them for the Hall of Fame.

See the cool video with Lars being interviewed by a fan here.

Thought: I think Jessica Simpson is looking gorgeous and sexy!!

Man, just look at that. Would you sleep with that? I’d hit it! That is Jessica Simpson. People picking on her because of her weight gain. Just like the stupid media is picking on Oprah’s weight gain. Women shouldn’t feel bad about their weight, when they should feel proud of who they are.

I’m no fan of Jessica Simpson’s music, but I think Jessica is looking beautiful. She looks more natural now than the other pop stars. Maybe that’s why the media is picking on her because she doesn’t look fake and plastic like Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, etc. Jessica is looking real.

I actually find women much sexier who have a little bit of weight on them. Those are the type of chicks, I’m attracted to mostly though. They gotta have the lovin’ too, right?

BREAKING NEWS: Springsteen admits Wal-Mart deal with “Greatest Hits” album was a huge career mistake!!!!

Look like Springsteen agrees with the fans that him releasing a “Greatest Hits” album through Wal-Mart exclusive was a mistake and the boss feels horrible about it.

More on it here:

Well, it’s good that Bruce is an honest man. This shows that the boss isn’t ego driven at all.

Speaking of Bruce, I picked up the “Working On a Dream” CD today, I’ll post a short review after I listen to it a few times.

Report: Sir Paul to headline Coachella 2009!!!

Sir Paul McCartney is confirmed to headline Coachella 2009. Also on the bill are the Cure, the Killers, My Bloody Valentine, Amy Winehouse, Morrisey, Leonard Cohen and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

The Coachella Fest will be held on April 17-19 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.

Billboard reports:

Wow!!!! What a killer lineup!! Better than last years!!! Sir Paul will probably perform a bunch of Beatles songs and his solo stuff. Hope Amy Winehouse is clean enough to perform so she won’t suck, I have a feeling she will, that woman needs to stop performing. I wonder why the Coachella booking agents would want to book a drug addict to the Festival anyways when fans will probably boo her off the stage.

Seeing Leonard Cohen’s gotta be amazing. Cool show, wish I could be there.

I will see the movie “Taken” next…

I will see the action thriller “Taken” that stars Liam Neeson, a film about a former government operative who goes out to find his kidnapped daughter himself and seek revenge on her kidnapper. It looks like a pretty sweet flick, very short movie, it’s only an hour and a half long but I’m sure the flick will be entertaining. I like Liam Neeson and this guy don’t star in leading roles that much. I plan to see this movie tomorrow afternoon and will review it tomorrow evening. I hope it’s good and doesn’t dissapoint.

Report: Springsteen promises he won’t let Superbowl audience down during halftime, he wants to party!!!

Look like Springsteen and the E Street Band will be playing their greatest hits at the Superbowl halftime after all. Springsteen revealed that he promises a good time for the audience at the game. Him and the band only get to play a 12 minute set, which will only fit about 3 or 4 songs. Of course, Springsteen refuses to say what songs him and the band will perform, he wants them to be a surprise.

See the article here:

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/30/sports/football/30springsteen.html?ref=sports

I’m betting your money that he will definitely play a few songs off “Born In the U.S.A.”, he’ll play the title track, “Glory Days” and maybe “Dancing In the Dark” too.

Rumours swirling the web, that Springsteen may pull up Courtney Cox from the Superbowl audience for him to dance with during “Dancing in the Dark”. Could this actually happen? Courtney Cox from “Friends” TV show will be at the Superbowl to dance with the boss on stage? We’ll have to wait and find out!

On a side note, Max Weinberg and Labamba Rosenberg will be performing in the band as well, as they are taking time off from the Conan O’ Brien show to rehearse for the Superbowl gig with Springsteen. Weinberg has been a member of the E Street band for many years.

I’m looking forward to the Superbowl this Sunday. I’m no NFL fan but I do watch the Superbowl every year. I’m also looking forward to seeing how Jennifer Hudson is going to sing the “National Anthem”, that’ll be interesting to see too.

Report: Led Zeppelin to perform at the Grammy awards? Eh, sort of…

Robert Plant and Allison Krauss will be performing at the Grammy Awards. I never watch the Grammy’s anymore but I’ll watch it just for that one performance and then I’ll probably switch the channel after. I love the Robert and Allison project. I wish people would appreciate the Robert and Allison bluegrass project rather than obsess with the Led Zeppelin reunion. The Robert and Allison duo is a full time thing, it isn’t a side project for Robert, he is committed to it.

Do yourself a favor and buy the album “Raising Sand” if you haven’t yet, and you would see why Robert loves the project so much. It’s one of the best albums I’ve heard in years. One record I can never get tired of listening to.

I think Robert and Allison will one day be bigger than Zeppelin. While I am a die hard and obsessive Led Zep fanatic, I do not want the reunion tour to happen. Let the O2 Dec. 10th 2007 gig be their final and last good show. Leave the legacy at a positive note. Don’t let the nostalgia of Led Zep overshadow Robert and Allison.

Report: John Landis, director of “Thriller” video sues Jacko over profits…

John Landis, who is a pretty well known film maker…he has made movies such as, “An American Werewolf in London”, “The Blues Brothers”, “Animal House”, “Spies Like Us”, “The Three Amigos”, etc. has filed suit against the King of Pop,  Michael Jackson. John Landis worked with Jacko for his iconic music video, “Thriller”. Landis is accusing Jacko of not paying share of profits for the last four years. Landis filed suit through his company, Levitsky Prods.

This lawsuit has nothing to do with “Thriller – The Musical” which just been announced, it has to do something with the “Thriller” video.

Variety Reports:

Poor Jacko, this guy can’t have any peace and quiet for himself, I actually feel sorry for him.

If he got out of the lawsuit with the Sheik of Bahraini, he’ll get out of this one too.

Poll: What hits will Springsteen perform at the Superbowl? Other than “Working on a Dream”?

If Springsteen and the E Street band is going to play any hits at the Superbowl, I would say he will only play at least 1 or 2 hits, and most of his Superbowl set will be mostly new songs from the new album. This is just speculation of what he might play.

I think he may do “Dancing in the Dark”, “Glory Days”, or might play “Born In the USA” to give us a surprise.

I think he’ll definitely play the hits ’cause he doesn’t want to let the Superbowl audience down when they are all expecting him to play his biggest hits. I hope he won’t let us down with his performance though. It better be a strong and energetic performance.
