Scott Weiland announces The Wildabouts guitarist Jeremy Brown just passed away…

Scott Weiland announces that the Wildabouts guitarist, Jeremy Brown, just passed away all of a sudden. Pretty sad news since today is release day for their debut album “Blaster”. I’m sure the Wildabouts will continue on and replace a new guitarist but I’m sure the new songs won’t sound the same without their original guitarist, though. I wouldn’t be surprised that drugs took Jeremy’s life, though, probably did. RIP Jeremy. I am looking forward to hearing “Blaster” as I’ll get it soon.

Why do people like Azealia Banks have a career in music? WOW!!!

https://twitter.com/AZEALIABANKS/status/581668169716088832

Rapper Azealia Banks is in a heated feud with FOX News reporter, Eric Bolling. Eric is just doing his job… doing what he is supposed to do is report news and Azealia is unprofessionally responding to him and attacking him on twitter. I mean, she did a Playboy interview and said some offensive things by “hating America” and she expects Americans not to call her out?

Why is it okay for a black person to say things like “Go suck a dick and die” to a white person? Isn’t that kind of racist? Yes, I believe so. I look at her offensive tweet and sure enough, her “fans” are all over it. What Azealia said is a threat and she used homophobic slurs. Doing a little google search, she used homophobic slurs before and GLAAD called her out for it.

How come liberals aren’t being outraged against Azealia’s behavior on twitter? Where is the liberal outrage that she’s using homophobic slurs? Why do people like Azealia Banks and Chris Brown have a career in music when they shouldnt’?

Welcome to the new music industry, y’all. We’re in an age where rappers can do and say bad things, yet they get away with it. Instead of getting a public backlash, they get rewarded.

Aimee Osbourne starts her own music career without the help of “The Osbournes” TV show…

When the Osbourne family did their reality show for “The Osbournes” on MTV (which only lasted for 3 seasons), the rest of the Osbourne family became famous ’cause of the show. Sharon, Kelly, and Jack became famous and they got a huge career boost with the help of their show. Kelly started a music career of her own and Jack Osbourne started his own record label. However, there is one more Osbourne in the family that refused to be part of “The Osbournes” TV show and that is Aimee Osbourne. Why did she refuse to be a part of the show? Well, she didn’t feel comfortable being a part of fame and Hollywood. She wanted to get fame but NOT in that way. She didn’t want to get fame that quick. She wanted to get fame the real way and take her time with it. She just didn’t want to get fame the same way Ozzy and the rest of the family got fame.

http://nypost.com/2015/03/28/ozzy-osbournes-unknown-daughter-is-about-to-make-it-big/

So it looks like Aimee is coming out with an album of her own and here is her first single in the video below. The song “Raining Gold” is pretty nice. I actually dig it.

What Aimee did here was awesome and she’s such an inspiration for it. That’s how you get fame is start off small and make your way up to it. Not get quick easy fame like the rest of the Osbournes did. She got a career the real and honest way. That’s being humble and respectful.

Wish other music artists can learn from Aimee on how to get fame instead of using reality TV and all of these garbage music competitions (like American Idol, America’s Got Talent, The Voice, etc.) to get quick easy fame.

Back in the 60’s and up to the early 90’s, it was very hard to get fame but these days it seems to be very easy which is sad.

Little Big Town’s song, “Girl Crush” gets pulled off of radio stations ’cause it promotes lesbianism… really???

I thought this story was interesting so I figure it’s worth getting my thoughts on. There’s a country group named Little Big Town who’s latest single, “Girl Crush” is being pulled off of radio stations across the country ’cause fans complained and speculated that the song promotes lesbianism. Looking at the lyrics, I don’t see where it’s about a woman having a crush on another woman. To me the song is about a woman who has a crush on a guy who is not single and she’s jealous of them. That’s what the song is about. The fans are just being whiny babies, in my opinion.

I mean, where was the outrage when Jill Sobule wrote that song “I Kissed A Girl” and Katy Perry wrote a song with the same title. Was there any controversy and backlash from Jill Sobule’s and Katy’s songs of the same title? No.

I’m sure there are tons of songs about lesbians out there like KD Lang, “Constant Craving” for starters and you can throw Melissa Etheridge, “Come to My Window” in there and Tracy Chapman’s “Give Me One More Reason” is another one.

That Little Big Town song, “Girl Crush” is a great tune by the way, I liked it too although I’m not big on today’s country.

I just find it hilarious that people are accusing “Girl Crush” being a lesbian song when it’s not even that and there are tons of other lesbian songs out there.

That’s okay. Controversy over a song is actually good. When your song is creating “controversy” you know that it’s being talked about and people are hearing it… that’s when you know your music is successful.

Hmmm, maybe Stone Temple Pilots had every right to kick out Scott Weiland after all!!!!

When Scott Weiland was booted from STP in 2013, there was a huge debate on whether Scott deserved that or not. There was a huge debate that Scott couldn’t get kicked out of the band that he helped create and wrote most of the band’s biggest hits.

This whole time I was on Scott’s side and supported him throughout and I’ll admit, I thought the guys in STP were assholes for what they did to Scott but now I’m beginning to think that the guys in STP did the right thing. Look like Scott hasn’t cleaned up his act at all.

Check this out:

http://loudwire.com/scott-weiland-disappoints-fans-vip-meet-and-greet/

On facebook today, he posted this apology:

Maybe this is why the guys in STP had to do what they had to do. Maybe they felt his drinking has gotten way out of hand and he was acting like an asshole to the guys in STP. Maybe Scott did deserve all that, getting kicked out and getting sued by the band. I did had compassion for Scott but I think I’m about done supporting him myself. Musicians… you can’t trust them at all.

I think paying lots of money for VIP Meet & Greets is silly and lame to begin with. It’s just an easy cash grab for bands & artists.

Why lack of bass guitar on Metallica’s “And Justice For All” album? It’s because Lars didn’t want any….

While Metallica is one of my favorite bands, the one thing that I will admit that they are not good with is “sound quality” for their albums. They’ve never have been good at “sound quality” and producing their records. You can blame that on Lars ’cause Metallica is his baby and he seems to be calling all the shots. Lars started the band himself years ago so he’s the band’s leader and boss, I guess.

Fans complained for years on the sound quality on their iconic album, “And Justice For All” on why there are no bass lines on the album. Jason Newsted did record bass parts for the album but Lars wanted the bass to be turned way down in the mix.

Ever Wondered Why ‘…And Justice For All’ Had No Bass? The Riddle Has Now Been Solved

Hmmmmm… that could explain why you could barely hear Rob Trujillo’s bass on the “Death Magnetic” album. Lars wanted Rob’s bass to be turned down on that album as well? I wouldn’t be surprised. When Metallica releases their next album this year, don’t be surprised that Rob’s bass would be turned down again.

Hear “And Justice For All” album with Jason’s bass turned up in the video below. I agree the album sounds a lot better with the bass turned up. They sound a lot tighter too.

While “And Justice For All” is one of my favorite Metallica albums, I agree that the sound quality on it could have been better. It sounds more like a demo than an album, in my opinion.

Judge closes case on Chris Brown’s domestic violence… WTF is wrong with America???

Welp, look like the case is closed on the Chris Brown and Rihanna domestic violence. Seriously?

If Chris Brown was white and not famous, he would have gotten much harsher punishment. A white guy and a non-famous person would have gotten a few years in “state prison”. Notice how I said, “state prison” and not “jail”. All the prick got was probation, community service and domestic violence counseling? Even through all this, the prick continued to release music. Since the Rihanna beating happened in 2009, Chris released 4 albums since then and all of them best sellers. Fans continued to support this woman beating asshole.

What’s even worse with this whole thing is, I did feel compassion for Rihanna and felt sorry for her up until she have forgiven him and they got back into a relationship together. That made me sick. Really? Most women who are victims of domestic violence would leave him for good.

In my opinion, I think Chris got away with it… domestic violence… just like OJ got away with murder. He got away with it with fame, money and power. Chris is rich because of his music career. You can get what you want if you have loads of cash. I think he got lighter punishment out of domestic violence ’cause of the color of his skin obviously. If Chris was white and not famous, he would have been in prison right now. No doubt about it.

This is part of why I hate today’s music industry. Too many music artists living in delusional fantasy land. They think they are too important and powerful ’cause of their fame. I can’t stand it.

Chris is gonna beat up a woman again. Give it time, he’ll beat up that woman that he just had a kid with. All that community service and domestic violence counseling won’t teach him a damn thing. Once a woman beater, always a woman beater. I’ll never support ’em.

Heather Mills slams Paul McCartney collaborating with Kanye and Rihanna…

Heather Mills, the ex-wife of Paul McCartney appeared on “The Late Late Show” and she publicly slams her ex-husband on national TV.

Heather Mills says that Sir Paul had to do a collaboration with Kanye and Rihanna so he can stay relevant as a solo artist. She says he did it so he can still be remembered ’cause half of the kids she sees still don’t know who Sir Paul is.

She kind of brings up valid points. Honestly, I never liked Sir Paul as a solo artist anyways. Paul was only good when he did all those albums with the band Wings and of course, the James Bond theme song, “Live and Let Die” but other than that he hasn’t been relevant since then.

I think Sir Paul collaborated with Kanye and Rihanna as an excuse to keep himself in the mainstream.

I was never that big of a fan of Sir Paul’s solo career to begin with. George Harrison has always been my favorite Beatle.

Kurt Cobain’s documentary, “Montage of Heck” trailer is here…

I’m a huge Nirvana fan. Always have been ever since I was in high school. I first became obsessed with Nirvana right when the “Smells Like Teen Spirit” video aired on TV and then I went out and bought the “Nevermind” album. I couldn’t stop listening to that album and I’ve always been a fan of Nirvana ever since. At the time when “Nevermind” first came out, I think I was in about 7th or 8th grade when I was in junior high. My love for Nirvana stopped and I still love the band now. I still have that same Nirvana “Nevermind” CD that I bought when I was just a teen. Never got rid of it and it’s still in my CD collection.

Looking forward to this movie. I can’t watch it since I don’t have HBO anymore but I’m actually thinking about subscribing to that “HBO Now” streaming service when they get it out in April. Not sure I’ll do it or not but thinking about it.

Anyway, I’m probably gonna get the BluRay to this movie when it comes out so I’ll watch it then for sure.
