Another reason to quit watching WWE… Michael Sam being shoved in our faces now…

I have nothing against Michael Sam and his sexual orientation but it is ridiculous on how he is a big deal all of a sudden… all because he’s the first NFL star to come out of the closet. I mean, who cares??? The NFL have been shoving Michael Sam in our faces for a long while now and now WWE is joining the bandwagon.

I’m glad I quit watching WWE.

WWE star Darren Young is the first wrestler to come out of the closet while under WWE contract but he was largely ignored by the WWE for that… yet, WWE is trying to invite Michael Sam for appearances in the company??? WWE is just desperate for more ratings.

There’s a lot of reasons why I quit watching WWE and I’ll make another post about that soon. This is one of the reasons why I quit watching.

I’m pretty sure that as soon as I make this post, I’m gonna get called a homophobe and a bigot but this isn’t about the homosexuality lifestyle. It’s about WWE giving Darren Young the respect he deserves and now they’re desperately trying to get Michael Sam.

I really hate the way the media is shoving Michael Sam in our faces. That’s one of the reasons why I quit watching the NFL.

If you got nothing to watch on TV tonight…

If you got nothing to watch on TV tonight, you should check out the “13 Hours” Benghazi special on the Fox News Channel. It’s on at 10 tonight, I think. If you’re not gonna watch it, set your DVR’s. I’m sure this will be worth watching if you wanna learn more about the Sept.11th, 2012 – Benghazi attacks. I’m definitely gonna be watching and it should be interesting. Every American should watch it even if you hate Fox News. Check your local listings.

Seriously, I would like you guys to watch it… bone, Pauper, rd, craig or whoever.

I’m gonna review the special either tonight or tomorrow and will give my thoughts about it.

I notice you guys don’t know much about the Benghazi attacks and it’s time for you to learn. Watch it tonight or set your DVR’s.

Finally, “Supergirl” is getting another chance in Hollywood but to the small screen for now…

I remember seeing the 1984 “Supergirl” film starring Helen Slater who played Supergirl (as pictured above). I thought the “Supergirl” film with Helen Slater was great but sadly that franchise only lasted for one film ’cause it was a box office failure. Still a great film, though. I thought Helen Slater was an awesome Supergirl.

Finally this character is getting another chance. Not on the big screen but the small screen. An actress hasn’t been hired for the new Supergirl yet.

I really like the Supergirl character and hopes she makes her way back on the big screen sometime in the future. Maybe she will if this TV series is a hit???

I remember NBC and DC teamed up together to make a new “Wonder Woman” TV series but they killed that project. Hopefully “Supergirl” TV show will be a success.

The new “Dr. Who” on Netflix is pretty addicting stuff!!!

I’m already halfway through the first season of the new “Dr. Who” on Netflix. I’ve just started watching the 9th Doctor with Chris Eccleston. It’s a great show. The stories are cheesy and goofy as hell but that’s what so good about them. “Dr. Who” has always been like that.

I got a lot to catch up on the new “Dr. Who” but I’ll watch as much of it as I can. You can now add “Dr. Who” to my growing list of favorite TV shows.

I don’t watch too many TV shows but some of my current favorites are: “Game of Thrones”, “Dexter”, “Breaking Bad”, “The Following” w/ Kevin Bacon, “24”, “Sons of Anarchy”, “House of Cards” and now you can add “Dr. Who” to the list.

I stopped liking the “Walking Dead”. Started liking “The Walking Dead” in the beginning but the show got lamer and lamer. No longer interested. I haven’t been watching the new Walking Dead and I probably won’t watch this year.

There are still other new TV shows I still wanna check out and I put some of them on my Netflix instant que. I still wanna check out “Derek” w/ Ricky Gervais. I still wanna get around to check out, “American Horror Story”. I also wanna check out “Hell On Wheels” and “Longmire”. “True Detective” is another one I wanna get around to checking out sometime. I also wanna check out “Criminal Minds” which is a show I never saw before and that’s on Netflix too. I also wanna get around to watching, “Orange Is The New Black” since everyone is saying good things about that show.

Too many TV shows, so little time. I can’t see them all at once. I’m a one at a time kind of guy. I usually like to finish watching one show and then move on to something else when I’m done.

Last night’s “Dr. Who” w/ Peter Capaldi was really good!!!

Yes, I watched the 2 hour season premiere of the new “Dr. Who” last night with Peter Capaldi and loved it. The stories and the characters were great. I know I’m pretty late getting into the new “Dr. Who” but I’m gonna have to catch up with the new series that is on Netflix. The new “Dr. Who” series on Netflix that goes from 2005 to today.

On Netflix, I was watching the old-school “A-Team” show but I think I’m gonna take a break from that and start the new “Dr. Who” on Netflix. Maybe I’ll start watching the new “Dr. Who” tonight ’cause I never saw the new series before.

I used to watch the old series all the time when I was a kid, though.

I was impressed with the new “Dr. Who” last night…

Last night, on the BBC channel they were showing a Dr. Who marathon to celebrate the new series with Peter Capaldi that will debut on TV tonight which I will probably watch. Last night they were showing a Matt Smith Dr. Who marathon. I caught one episode with Matt Smith as Dr. Who and I was pretty impressed with it. I do know that the Matt Smith version the Eleventh Doctor is on NETFLIX for streamable so I logged into Netflix and put that series in my instant que.

I used to watch Dr. Who all the time when I was younger. They’re great stories.

I’m probably gonna check out the new Dr. Who with Capaldi tonight. I’ll catch up with the Matt Smith series soon.

George R.R. Martin warns “Games of Thrones” fans that he plans on killing off more important characters for the upcoming books…

Some of you may know that I’m a huge Game of Thrones fan. Love the books and love the TV show. Some of you know that writer, George R.R. Martin is not afraid to kill off characters that everybody likes.

Well, George warns fans that he plans on killing off more important characters for future “Song of Ice and Fire” novels. This probably means that he might plan on killing off important characters like Tyrion, Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Arya Stark, Littlefinger, or even The Hound.

http://winteriscoming.net/2014/08/21/george-rr-martin-kill-main-characters/

I know GOT fans are getting pissed and frustrated that George takes forever to finish the next book but let him take his time. The less time he takes, the better the stories get. Sometimes, less is always more when writing stories.

I have all the GOT books so far and I have the first 3 seasons on DVD so I’m a huge fan of this franchise, indeed. I haven’t seen GOT “Season 4” ’cause I don’t have HBO anymore and I’m just waiting for Season 4 to come out on DVD.

I love this franchise so much, though. The stories are addicting and so are the characters. If you’re not into “GOT’s” yet, what are you waiting for?

Look like there’s going to be a UK Office continuation after all!!! David Brent on his way to the big screen!!!

This is pretty sweet! Even though the UK Office is done and over with, I’m glad Ricky is still not done playing the David Brent character. I think he’s just doing this for the fans. Fans kept begging Ricky to bring David Brent back so he responded.

I’m definitely looking forward to this!!! Even though the big screen movie is heading toward a different direction, I hope other characters from the UK Office would make appearances for the film. Wouldn’t it be cool to see Gareth, Tim and Dawn make cameos? I thought they were great characters.

I’m definitely looking forward to this one!

Your Meme for the day: WTF happened to MTV???

10523201_10152242672976466_3816908554944679059_n

I remember the days when MTV used to be cool. When I was a kid, I used to be obsessed with the station. When I came home everyday from school, I would turn the TV right on to watch MTV music videos throughout the afternoon and the rest of the evening. MTV was an important part of music history, like it or not. Without MTV, I wouldn’t have known about bands and artists such as Twisted Sister, Dire Straits, Peter Gabriel, Weird Al, Nirvana, U2, R.E.M., Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, GN’R, Metallica, etc. All those bands were a major part of MTV.

It’s real sad what MTV has came out to be today, though. Nothing but reality shows. MTV still do play music videos but not as much as they used to. It’s obvious that the show, “The Real World” killed MTV. I believe, “The Real World” was the first reality show that MTV aired… then here comes Jersey Shore and everything else.

When MTV started playing reality shows, I would switch to watching VH1 ’cause they used to play more music videos than MTV. Now VH1 has turned into a reality show station too.

The world is obsessed with reality shows and it’s quite sad to see.

“Sharknado 2: The Second One” brief review…

Yes, I did see the first Sharknado movie when it came out last year but I didn’t see it when it first premiered on TV. I saw the first Sharknado movie for NETFLIX streaming. I really liked the first one a lot. The film was really cheesy and goofy as hell. That’s the whole point of these Sharknado movies. They’re supposed to be cheesy and goofy… that was the film makers goal with these movies. Yes, the storylines are gonna be very bad, the acting is gonna be bad, the special effects and cinematography are gonna be bad, etc. That’s why they’re called B-Movies as in movies that are low-budget. Even though these movies are cheesy and goofy… the main goal is about the fun. It’s all about the humor and fun of it. Definitely one of those, “movies that are so bad that it’s good”.

Well, I did watch the second Sharknado movie on the SyFy channel last night. The Second One is even better than the first. It’s a lot more cheesier and goofier. While The Second One was real good, my favorite scene was the opening plane scene. I thought the Kelly Osbourne appearance was great. I thought Kelly’s scene was the best celebrity cameo. Her scene had me laughing my ass off.

Yeah, these movies are ridiculous but like I said above, that’s the point. If you don’t take these movies seriously, you would laugh your ass off and enjoy them. I thought the story for this movie was more thrilling than the last one. The last one was taken place in Los Angeles… this one was taken place in New York City.

I recognized other celebrities that appeared in the film: Wil Wheaton, Andy Dick, Perez Hilton, former WWE star Kurt Angle, Billy Ray Cyrus, etc.

“Sharknado 2” was a pretty exciting movie and I’ll probably watch it again later.
