Ready for the return of Frank Underwood??? “House of Cards – Season 2” set for release on Valentine’s Day…

I’m pretty stoked for Season 2 of Netflix’s “House of Cards”. When season 1 arrived on Netflix, I was immediately addicted to the show. The show is so good. It maybe a politically driven show but the writing is perfect and the cast is awesome. Lets hope Season 2 won’t disappoint. I’m sure it won’t. Season 2 will arrive on Netflix Feb. 14th, 2014 which is Valentine’s Day. Can’t freakin’ wait!!! It’s about time that they gave us an announcement.

See the teaser video, here.

Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston reads script of final episode of “Breaking Bad”…

Check out this cool clip of Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston reading the script for the final episode of “Breaking Bad”. Watch their reaction when they finish reading. This was before they filmed the final episode, of course.

What’s with the George W. Bush flip-flopping all of a sudden?

As far as I can remember, George W. Bush was one of the most-hated presidents during his reign. A lot of people called for impeachment and hoped he wouldn’t win the re-election for his second term as well. Now that George is no longer the president, he is all of a sudden loved by everyone???

Facebook is going off about George W.’s appearance on Jay Leno this week. It’s pretty funny how people say he’s a wonderful and cool guy now.

Don’t you remember that this was the guy who was late on responding to 9/11/01? Lied his head off about Weapons of Mass Destruction. Started the Patriot Act law that no one likes. Got us involved in a long and pointless war in Iraq/Afghanistan. This was the guy who turned our economy into a big mess. He had his share of killing lots of innocent women, children and civilians overseas. The list can go on.

This guy was a tyrannical maniac as well. I know Bush is Conservative/Republican but that doesn’t mean I can respect him. Even though I never liked Bush… I would say that he was a better president than Obama, though. Obama just makes Bush look too good.

Everyone’s going off about George W.’s appearance on Leno saying that he was enjoyable and funny to watch. It doesn’t matter if George has a funny sense of humor or not. Once a bad man, always a bad man. You can’t change that. The man maybe a hardcore Conservative but I never liked him. Still don’t!

I refuse to watch that appearance on Leno ’cause I don’t like Leno either.

Dexter is coming to Netflix streaming tomorrow on Halloween… yes, all 8 seasons…

Now that “Dexter” is all done on Showtime… the show will be made available for streaming tomorrow on Halloween for Netflix services. If you’re subscribed to Netflix, I would recommend you start watching this show for those who never had Showtime and never got to watch it. It really is a great show. All 8 seasons will be made available. I already have most of the seasons on DVD anyway but I think I’m going to start re-watching the final season on there.

Too bad that the show had to last for 8 seasons as I thought it could go on for a few more but Michael C. Hall was the only one who wanted to quit and move on.

If you’re looking for something to watch for Halloween weekend… start watching, “Dexter”. One of my favorite shows. Enjoy!

EDIT TO ADD: I didn’t get to watch all of Season 8 ’cause I had to get rid of Showtime. I don’t have Showtime anymore. Too expensive. Now I’ll be able to catch up with the rest of the show and see how it ended.

Did I watch “The Walking Dead” last night???

No, and I didn’t bother. I’m glad I didn’t watch it ’cause even if the Season 4 premiere of “The Walking Dead” got extremely high ratings… I heard last night’s premiere got a lot of negative reviews which didn’t surprise me at all. The show is really going downhill with the writing. I got the season 4 premiere on the DVR, all recorded but I’m probably not gonna bother watching it anyway since it got so much mixed reviews.

I think the only reason a lot of people continue to watch despite the bad writing is because of Daryl. Norman Reedus is a tremendous actor and Daryl is a great character but they really need to back off on him and concentrate on the story. Give other characters a chance for the spotlight. “The Walking Dead” is supposed to be the Rick Grimes show but apparently it’s quickly turning into the Daryl Dixon show. I think Daryl is what helps keep the show on the air ’cause people can’t get enough of him.

Yep, I think I’m all done with “The Walking Dead” for sure.

Now, if you like zombie apocalypse type of stories there is better out there. There are tons of zombie apocalypse movies. You should start watching George A. Romero movies, that’s a nice start right there. How much do you wanna bet that most “Walking Dead” fans haven’t even seen the original black and white “Night of the Living Dead” movie? I’ll take that film over the crap “Walking Dead”.

I played some “Grand Theft Auto V” on the PS3 all evening last night instead. I’ll probably play some more of that game tonight.

Breaking Bad – Series finale review *********Major Spoilers*********

Wow. Last night’s “Breaking Bad” was absolutely amazing and mind blowing! Perfect closing for the series! Not only last night’s episode was amazing, the whole show overall was amazing. Every episode. Every season. This show was perfect all the way through. In other words, none of it sucked!

I’m gonna talk about the story for a little bit in this post but I’ll put a spoiler warning, of course.

At the end of “Breaking Bad” last night… Walt ended up sacrificing his life against the people who pretty much ruined him. Uncle Jack and his gang, Lydia, and everybody else. I was partly right in my prediction that Walt was going to use the ricin capsule on somebody and I was partly right that Walt was going to get killed off somehow. I was wrong that Walt was going to use the ricin capsule on himself but instead he accidentally shot himself with his own machine gun that he built for that car to kill Uncle Jack and the rest of the guys.

Last night’s episode did a really good job showing that Walt really cared for Jesse and he sacrificed his own life to save Jesse’s. He went to rescue Jesse and to get revenge on the men who killed Hank.

All season long I kept guessing that the series was going to end with Walt either dying of cancer or getting caught by the police but it ended up being something else. It’s called, “Breaking Bad” for a reason right?

Anyway, I’m going to miss the show, and wish it could go on for at least two more seasons. Now I’ll have to start collecting the rest of the “Breaking Bad” series on DVD ’cause I only have Season Four on DVD. I’ll get the first three on DVD before Season 5 comes out.

Well, since Walt got killed off at the end of the show, I guess that officially rules out a big screen movie possibility. There’s no “Breaking Bad” without Walt, right?

While last night’s show was a little predictable — it was still amazing. Vince Gilligan did a great job with the show.

My prediction for the “Breaking Bad” series finale this Sunday ***Major Spoilers***

This Sunday is the final episode of “Breaking Bad” for the show’s final season on AMC. I would have to say that this show is one of the best show’s on TV ever. I do watch a few other TV shows like “Game of Thrones” and “Dexter” but those two shows have a lot of problems with the writing; at least, “Breaking Bad” stays perfect with the writing every episode and every season. “Breaking Bad” has the best writing of any show I’ve ever seen. Since the end is nearing us this Sunday, everyone on the internet are already making their predictions. Making a lot of speculation on what’s going to happen with Walt and Jesse.

So far, the most popular prediction is that Walter is going to kill Jesse with what?

Remember, the ricin capsule that Walter White hid in his bedroom in Season 2 or maybe 3, I forget which? Walter is saving the ricin capsule for something or someone. What is Walter planning to do with the ricin? Is he planning to kill Jesse Pinkman with it? Skyler? His whole family? Does Walter plan on getting revenge on the men who killed Hank and tried to steal his money? No. I don’t think Walter is planning to kill any of those people. Who do I think Walter is planning to kill? Scroll down a bit if you dare. It’s the most unpopular prediction that hasn’t been decided by a lot of people…. it’s something you’re not gonna wanna read….

Okay, that’s enough scrolling.

Who do I think Walt is planning on using the ricin capsule for?

Himself….

Yes, I said it.

It maybe tough to see Walt commit suicide but it’s a perfect closing for the series. All the clues are there from last week’s episode, “Granite State”.

Walt doesn’t get along with his family anymore. He continues to feud with Jesse Pinkman. Everything around him is falling apart so Walt lives at an abandoned home surrounded by a gate. Over the years in the show, he thought making meth to help raise money for his cancer treatment that good things would come out of it but he thought wrong. “Breaking Bad” is about all the bad things and karma that comes out when it comes to drugs.

Not a lot of people want to see Walt get killed off but it’s the only possible way to end the show. Walt probably didn’t want his family to see him die of cancer or live his life in prison so he figure killing himself would be the best idea since he has nothing else in his life.

Maybe I could be wrong. Who knows? Breaking Bad is always unpredictable so you may never know what happens but I’m sticking with my idea.

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how Breaking Bad is gonna end this Sunday night. Hopefully, it will end good.

Will I watch the new Walking Dead season in Oct??? I’m thinking about giving up on this show…

I’ll admit it that I was very disappointed with the last season of the Walking Dead. The writing has gotten really bad… even Daryl couldn’t save the show. Last time I checked, this is supposed to be, “The Walking Dead”. Not “The Suck Daryl Dixon’s Dick” show. The whole point of the books were the stories which is what the show is missing. All the craziness of Daryl Dixon is overshadowing the storytelling part of the show. Crazy stupid and pretentious fans. Daryl wasn’t a character in the books and the stories can get really good without him. The books were so much better than the lame TV show. Even if the writing is bad, the makers at AMC are doing whatever it takes to give Daryl a lot of screen time so they can keep the show on the air. Daryl is what keeps the show going. Without him, the show’s ratings will tank and it’ll cancel mid-season probably. So they are probably never gonna kill Daryl off. If they do, I can see angry fans starting petitions or starting rallies to bring Daryl back. Don’t get me wrong. Norman Reedus is a fantastic actor and Daryl is a cool character but they really need to focus on the stories.

I was also disappointed with the direction of the Michonne and Andrea storyline went to last year. Rick going all psychotic and weird was pretty lame as well. Also, The Governor is not menacing enough. If you read the books, you would see that the Governor is a lot more nastier and even more menacing.

Not sure if I’ll continue to watch the “Walking Dead” this year.

At least the writing for “Breaking Bad” and “Dexter” has gotten really good this year. Those two shows are pretty strong. “The Walking Dead” however, has gone way downhill for me. Maybe I’ll try to watch the first couple of episodes this season but if I see they haven’t improved, I’ll stop watching then. It just gotten really boring.

Star Trek – The Next Generation…

Last night, I just finished watching the last of “Star Trek – The Next Generation” on Netflix streaming. Yep, I watched all 7 seasons and every episode back to back on there. Started watching the show back in the Spring, I think and been watching it all summer. It’s a pretty long show. There’s about 26 episodes for each season. I had a blast re-watching them all. I still remember every episode too! Such a great show! While I do like every episode I’ve seen, my favorites are: “The Best of Both Worlds 1 &2” (which is considered a classic), “Skin of Evil”, “Datalore”, “I, Borg”, and “Genesis”.

After watching, “ST: TNG”, why did this series end so soon? Why was there 7 seasons and 4 films of the TNG series when they could have gone on a little longer? Well, there’s a few reasons for that. I would love the TNG cast to reunite for one last TNG movie but that’s probably not gonna happen ever. A couple of reasons are that most of the cast members of the TNG cast wanted to retire and move on for example Patrick Stewart and Brent Spiner (who plays Data). Brent Spiner no longer wanted to play Data ’cause Brent is aging and Data was never meant to grow old & die. Patrick Stewart wanted to retire ’cause he has been working on TNG for pretty much most of his life. Plus, another reason there hasn’t been a 5th TNG movie ’cause the last couple of TNG movies: “Insurrection” and “Nemesis” got so much negative feedback and both of them flopped in the box office. It’s a shame there’ll never be another TNG movie but it’s understandable why.

TNG was a great series, though. I think I’ll move on to “Deep Space Nine” next on Netflix streaming. I never got to watch all of that show when it was on TV back in the day.

Time Warner Cable officially drops Showtime network, and I’m actually okay with that…

Last night, I turned on my TV to check to see if we still have Showtime in the Capital District but it turns out we no longer have Showtime. I subscribed to the Showtime channel just for the “Dexter” show alone. Now with it’s final season currently playing and about five or 6 episodes in the season, TWC drops Showtime. Us Dexter fans can no longer watch the rest of the final season; however, I’m okay with that.

I was a little pissed off at first but after thinking about it a while, I figure Showtime was a garbage network anyways. Let it go. It has a terrible selection of movies. I only wanted that station for “Dexter”. The reason Showtime was dropped ’cause the station is owned by CBS and they are in a big legal feud with Time Warner Cable. The reason is ’cause CBS wants to get paid more to stay on. CBS wants a payment deal that TWC can’t even afford so maybe it was a good idea for TWC to drop them. So I’m guess I’m siding with TWC here. It’s all business. Everyone’s angry at TWC and accusing them of being greedy but if you think about it — it’s CBS being greedy, and not TWC.

I don’t know how I’m gonna watch the rest of Dexter now. I tried the “Showtime Anytime” Ipad app but there’s no TWC provider on it. I guess I’ll have to wait for the final season to come out on DVD. While it’s a shame and kind of sad but at the same time it’s a good thing… hard to explain. TWC did a good thing, if you think about it. If TWC gave them the deal they wanted… that could be good enough to take them out of business and they could lose a lot of money. I think that’s why they had to do what they had to do. I can’t blame them. CBS is not a good network either and they have always been greedy bastards so this is nothing new.

I didn’t think the dropping of Showtime would affect this area but I guess it did. I guess Time Warner Cable in the Capital District is part of the NYC TWC company. NYC is where the main company is.

Look like I’ll have to find something else to watch on TV tomorrow night. Probably a Netflix movie or something.
