Video: Billy Corgan speaks on getting the job for Impact Wrestling and what’s going on with the Smashing Pumpkins?

Billy Corgan the man himself speaks on getting the job as president of Impact Wrestling and speaks on what’s going on with the Smashing Pumpkins.

He says he’s speaking to D’arcy Wretzky again so does that mean there will be an original Pumpkins reunion someday? He says that isn’t happening right now but if it did, it would be about the music and for the fans.

As for his new job for Impact Wrestling, his fans are shitting on him for it but he makes it clear here that he doesn’t care what people think. Billy is getting into Impact Wrestling ’cause he has a passion for the wrestling business and going after his dream. There’s nothing wrong with that. Billy is going after his dreams and achieving them. What are you doing? I admire Billy for that.

This is a pretty cool video that he did. I’m a big Smashing Pumpkins fan myself. I think the reason he wants to work with wrestling ’cause maybe he’s getting burnt out with the music and wants to do something different for a change? A lot of Pumpkins fans are upset at Billy for getting into wrestling but hey, the man wants to do what he wants to do which is great. I respect people for doing what they want in life and not giving a shit and you should too.

Since Billy Corgan has now been signed as the president of Impact Wrestling (formerly known as TNA), that means Billy is the official boss of the company. He’ll be running everything which is a big responsibility. Billy’s love for wrestling is nothing new. He’s been talking about his love for wrestling in interviews for many years.

Is “Impact Wrestling” getting cancelled and going out of business?

There’s a rumor going around out there that Dixie Carter’s wrestling company, “Impact Wrestling” is getting cancelled by Destination America which is a cable TV network. Why is it getting cancelled? While the ratings of their shows were pretty good, they feel it wasn’t good enough to justify the total cost of the programming. Plus, advertisers didn’t want to advertise their products and services specifically during Impact Wrestling. There’s also speculation that “Impact Wrestling” (formerly known at TNA) maybe going of business.

http://www.wrestlingnewssource.com/news/38948/BREAKING-NEWS-Destination-America-Reportedly-Cancels-Impact-Wrestling/

While it is sad news, it doesn’t surprise me ’cause I only watched “Impact Wrestling” when Sting, Mick Foley, Ric Flair and Bully Ray were in the company. I lost interest in “Impact Wrestling” after they all left. While I respect the fact that the company stays true to wrestling, their storylines and feuds really suck.

While the company is being cancelled completely by a TV network, I don’t think “Impact Wrestling” is going out of business so there’s nothing to worry about. I think Dixie Carter and the team will find a different network to air their shows. I’m sure they will get picked up by a different network. I don’t think “Impact Wrestling” will be going away anytime soon.

If “Impact Wrestling” is gonna go out of business then that will be pretty sad ’cause I would feel bad for the wrestlers on their roster and all the crew who put the show together ’cause they’ll be out of work. It’s weird ’cause Billy Corgan just signed on to work with them and now they’re getting cancelled?

I totally blame Hulk Hogan on the destruction of “Impact Wrestling”. When Hulk worked for them, he claimed that he was gonna make the company bigger and better but he didn’t. All he did was run the company to the ground just like he did with WCW. Now he destroyed, “Impact Wrestling”.

Billy Corgan joins “Impact Wrestling” but not as wrestler…

The frontman and founder of the Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan, has taken his wrestling dreams to another level. He has officially joined Impact Wrestling (formerly known as “TNA”). Billy didn’t join as a wrestler though, he’s just gonna serve as a senior producer of creative and talent development. Meaning that he is probably gonna be in charge of the creative writing and be a mentor to some wrestlers of it’s roster.

It’s no secret that Billy Corgan is a professional wrestling fanatic like myself.

I don’t think Corgan is gonna compete in an actual wrestling match ’cause I would think he doesn’t have any wrestling skills. He just gets himself involved in professional wrestling ’cause he’s simply a huge fan and he just wants to be a part of it somehow.

I’m sure Corgan will be involved in storylines and feuds with wrestlers… I’m sure he’s gonna make some TV appearances on “Impact Wrestling”.

I haven’t watched “Impact Wrestling” in a long time. I used to watch TNA a lot in the past, though. Stopped for a while. I’ll have to get back into it again.

Wonder what this means for the Smashing Pumpkins? There was some talks that Billy was thinking about hanging up the band for good ’cause he wants to be done and move on. Why do you think he wants to be called, William Patrick Corgan instead of “Billy”? I love the Smashing Pumpkins though, always did.

I think I’m done with WWE for a while…

I think I officially gave up on WWE. Not for good. For a while at least. For the past three or four weeks, I start to watch RAW and then I switch the channel to Monday Night Football on ESPN instead. RAW got interesting for a little bit with the controversial CM Punk storyline, but it went downhill. I don’t like the new storyline going on right now where WWE superstars protest to make RAW a better show which is inspired from the Occupy Wall Street protests. WWE has been bringing a lot of kafayabe and trying to make the product seem real. Plus, this PG rating has gone too far for me. I used to have no problem with the PG rating, but it’s starting to get to me now.

I miss the old days of WWE, the Attitude Era. Those days were amazing. I miss the hardcore violence, blood, sexy women, etc. We don’t get that anymore in WWE. TNA “Impact Wrestling”, has all that now.

So I stick with watching TNA “Impact Wrestling”, every Thursday instead of WWE lately. I’m actually enjoying this Hulk Hogan vs. Sting feud. Sting as the Joker gimmick is pretty entertaining stuff. Sting is currently playing this new gimmick similar to the Heath Ledger Joker from “The Dark Knight” movie. Sting portrays the Heath Ledger, Joker pretty well. It’s pretty much dead on. I hope Sting keeps the Joker gimmick for a while.

I like TNA because that company brings back memories to the old WCW days. I like some of their wrestlers too like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Ken Anderson, and Bully Ray. Plus, TNA has better divas than the WWE, in my opinion. I like Velvet Sky, Mickie James and Miss Techsmacher.

Even though I’m starting to lose interest in WWE, I’ll always respect the performers. WWE is becoming too family friendly for my tastes, and that’s what I don’t like about it.

I like wrestling that is aimed at the adult audience where the true wrestling at, that’s why I’m starting to watch TNA more. TNA writes better storylines and has better wrestling too.

Cool Video: Hulk Hogan claims he has no negative grudge at the Ultimate Warrior…

Hulk Hogan posted a new videoblog today in twitter claiming he has no negative grudge against the Ultimate Warrior by simply saying, “Warrior is a good guy at heart”. Hogan also says he doesn’t understand what Warrior’s problem is and doesn’t plan to fight with him.

As usual Hulk Hogan is a crock of shit. Everything he’s saying here is a lie. Ultimate Warrior scheduled to post a 55 minute shoot video exposing Hulk Hogan on June 17th (which is tomorrow). I personally think Hogan said “Warrior is a good guy”, just so Warrior won’t post the video tomorrow and hoping to patch things up. Nice try Hulk, but the Warrior is not stupid enough to fall for that. I don’t think Warrior is the forgive and forget type. I don’t think Warrior will back down and he will post the video tomorrow.

When Hogan says he will not fight with the Warrior, that is also another lie. He just told TMZ that he plans on suing Warrior for the shoot video tomorrow. Isn’t that fighting back at Warrior?

You can see in this video that Hogan is pretty weak. I think Warrior just proved his point that Hogan is a coward. I can’t wait for Warrior’s video tomorrow, it’s going to be entertaining. I’ll post it here as soon as Warrior uploads it tomorrow so I’ll keep an eye on it.

Check out Hogan’s response to Warrior, here.

Cool Video: Did the Ultimate Warrior get signed to TNA? I think he did…

Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior started feuding on the internet. The thing is, are they really enemies or are they just acting? I think acting. I believe Warrior just got signed a contract to TNA and he’s on his way to “Impact Wrestling” to feud with Hulk Hogan on TV.

The Warrior just posted this video calling out Hulk Hogan for censoring Warrior’s fans on twitter. As you can see, the Warrior is in character, speaking as if he’s doing a wrestling promo which he does a very good job at btw. Yep, Warrior is indeed on his way TNA.

Cool Video: Mick Foley is the Network Rep, See the return of Chyna on TNA!!!

Last night’s TNA episode, was actually a great episode. Mick Foley ended up being the Network Representative, that’s been busting on Hulk Hogan and Immortal for a long while. Mick made the announcement that TNA changed the name to their Thursday shows to “Impact Wrestling”, making the announcement public and official. TNA’s name change is an attack at WWE for leaving out wrestling out of their new name. Mick also introduced the return of Chyna, Joanie Laurer.

I’ll admit that Chyna is still looking really hot. Yes, she had plastic surgery, breast implants and wears too much make-up but you can’t deny that she turns you on every time you see on her TV. She hasn’t been on wrestling television for a little over ten years, she’s been gone for that long.

I hope Chyna’s run in TNA will be full time, and not just a short run. We’ll wait and see. Enjoy the videos, here, and here.
