BREAKING NEWS: Michael Phelps ties with Mark Spitz record…

The young Michael Phelps made history in the Olympics again tonight, tying with Mark Spitz’s record of 50.8 in the 100 meter butterfly race earlier tonight. At first, swimmer Milorad Cavic of Serbia was ahead but Phelps quickly caught up with Cavic and both of them raced to the end. Phelps just touched the wall to get the win just before Cavic made it on the last minute. It was a close race and Phelps came this close to being no. 2.

Phelps is done racing in the individual races but there’s always the next Olympics to break more records and win more golds.

The Beijing Olympics officials announced that Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page will collaborate with pop star Leona Lewis to close out the Olympic ceremony this year.

It is not known what Jimmy and Leona will be performing together whether it will be a Led Zeppelin cover or one of Leona’s songs. It could even be “America the Beautiful” or “The Star Spangled Banner”.

The summer Beijing Olympics 2008 will end August 24th and we will find out then what song they will be playing.

I don’t know if I’ll watch this or not, I’ll be in San Diego around that time on Aug. 24th. I will try to watch it at my brother’s apartment in San Diego if I’m not out doing fun stuff, if I don’t watch this closing ceremony at all, I’m sure the Jimmy Page and Leona Lewis performance will be all over youtube anyways.

Looking forward to seeing this.

Report: Poor Alicia Sacramone, the Olympics should leave the girl alone…

I was watching the Olympics last night, and I was watching the USA vs. China in the Gymnastics games. 21 year old Alicia Sacramone was going to perform her dance like moves on the beam. When she ran toward the beam as fast as she could, she jumped and tried to do a big flip so she can try and land on the beam without falling off. She tried to land on the beam with one foot but Alicia lost her balance and she fell.

Ever since she lost the beam of the Olympics, she was very emotional and felt really guilty and upset about it. The camera at the Olympics was pointed directly at her all the time, so the world can watch her be upset and crying. Alicia didn’t smile once last night, she really was upset about the fall of the beam. I’m ashamed of the Olympics production crew.

The USA sucked at the Gymnastics last night, it was horrible. The only girl that did good was of course the talented Shawn Johnson helped them win the silver medal.

China was doing good of course so they win the gold. No matter what happens, I always root for USA to win, I never side with other countries, I’m USA all the way.

Stupid camera people. They need to leave Alicia alone and give her some space, yet, they always got the camera on her just to try and get more ratings.

Report: Mark Spitz upset that he wasn’t invited to watch the Beijing Olympics swimming races…

Mark Spitz, a former swimming legend of the Olympics wants to see Michael Phelps try and beat his record but he can’t. And Mark is pissed off about it!

Mark says he is impressed with Michael Phelps and he really wants Phelps to break Spitz’s record. Spitz says it will happen and he believes in Phelps.

China is just afraid that Spitz’s ego is gonna get in the way, that’s why they are not inviting him to see it live in person.

From the article above, that is not the case. Spitz really respects Phelps and I’m sure those two will meet up in person in the future, just not in the Olympics this year.

Report: Michael Phelps does it again in the 4 man 100m swimming relay!!!

On  yesterday’s Olympics, Michael Phelps swam by himself earlier in the afternoon but he actually lost, but became victorious at the end of last night’s Olympics for Day 3 in the 4 man team 100 m swimming relay game.

The USA team is still kicking ass. Michael Phelps, Garrett Weber-Gale, Cullen Jones, and Jason Lezak did an impressive 3:08:24 world record in a very quick swimming relay. Aftter that game got over with, Phelps and his USA team celebrated the great moment by them cheering along with the audience.

Check it out:

This is why all the swimming games in the Olympics is my favorite to watch the most. Some of the Olympic games are kind of boring, but the swimming games are very exciting and intense. I enjoy watching both male and female swimming.

That last swim race at the end of the Olympics the 4 man 100 m swim was amazing to watch, it was almost like the Superbowl and I was even getting all excited and smiling. The Olympics are amazing so far!

Report: Brock Lesnar wins UFC match against Heath Herring last night at UFC 87…

Former WWE star, Brock Lesnar “The Next Big Thing”, won his match against UFC fighter Heath Herring last night at UFC 87 ppv. Brock Lesnar won the match by bringing some of his fake pro wrestling into the mix influenced by his WWE moves to trick his UFC opponent by knockin’ him for real after.

Dana White, the UFC president, was very impressed with how Lensar looked last night. The UFC officials are already predicting the UFC Heavyweight champ could be around Lesnar’s body very quickly.

Sounds like Lesnar’s been doing good in WWE so far. Even though he hasn’t won that many matches so far, he is still a powerhouse.

I tried to buy last night’s UFC ppv so I can watch it myself last night but something was wrong with my PPV cable, the “Buy” option on the screen wouldn’t come up so I’m sure the cable company will get it back to working again soon. Since my ppv isn’t working, I just watch the Olympics instead.

I am starting to like UFC more though so I’m getting into it.
