There was a guy in facebook today who posted up a status complaining about the negativity that was being posted on a youtube video by a woman who uses P90x. He was complaining about youtube users bashing this woman for having breast implants after successfully losing weight. This guy said that these people should stop bashing this woman and respect her for going from 220 – 120 lbs or something like that. He was saying there should be no negativity for women successfully achieving their goals despite her implants.
I look at that post, scratch my head and I’m like, “seriously”???
I had no choice but to reply to that post and call this guy out…
I said something like… “Those P90x before and after success stories are fake. They have fake women for those as a way to advertise and sell the product”. I can’t remember exactly what I said since the guy blocked me after I said it but it went something like that. I sided with the guys bashing this woman on that youtube video. I didn’t see it ’cause he didn’t post the actual video. I was just making observations.
The thing is, I always hated that P90x and beachbody stuff. I bashed those programs long ago on this blog and I still stand by my opinions on them. They are a pretty shady and evil company. I think P90x is fake and they don’t really work. That beachbody coach stuff is just laughable as well as I think all that stuff is nothing but a scam.
Most before and after/success stories on the internet are pretty much fake. You can’t trust everything you see in the fitness world online. I think this Tony Horton guy is a fake as well. All these fitness people with P90x — they make themselves look good as a way to help sell the product. That’s all this company is about. Advertising and money. That’s what they do. Find creative ways to take money from people. What’s even shadier is that P90x and beachbody tries to sell their supplement products.
I think people who goes for these P90x and Beach Body coaching are just delusional people living in fantasy land.
I would never go for this shit. NEVER!
You don’t need to spend that kind of money to get ripped, and you don’t need to be a beach body coach.
The only thing you need to get yourself ripped and get in pretty good shape is just you and your body. You don’t need to get all special and fancy in working out. All you need is just your body and a small dumbbell set, and a few other cheap workout equipment, then you’re set! I don’t really need a gym membership either but I go to the public gym ’cause they have certain workout equipment that I need for certain body parts but other than that, I do most of my workouts at home, pretty much. I do chest and tricep workouts at home. Legs and back workouts I do at the gym.
P90X and Beachbody coaching is all garbage, man.
Back to before and after photos, you gotta love the magic of photoshop, airbrushing, etc.
I can assure you that my own before/after photos are not fake. I really do have a successful and ripped body! I’ve been doing it for 4 years or a little over now. I’ve been working out all year round with very little breaks. I didn’t join no piece of shit program like P90x or Beachbody to get what I want either!
At the gym, I have been lifting heavier than ever now! 200 lbs on the leg press, about 45 lbs. dumbbells for shoulder presses, 50 lbs for T-bar row, etc. You get the idea, and I’m feeling really good and strong! Who needs P90x or any of those dumb work out programs that are advertised by the infomercials on TV. All that is bullshit to me.
Honestly, you don’t need to spend any money at all to get the body of your dreams. It can be done!
