Started editing my first videoblog today and it’s coming out really well… just the way I wanted it!

So I started editing my first videoblog and been working on it all aftertoon. It’s halfway done already and I’m very proud of how it’s coming out so far. It’s going to be documentary style, big time. Kind of like those documentaries you see on TV and on Netflix. Just a documentary film series about me. They’ll have background music and all.

I’m gonna have it uploaded as soon as I find it perfect enough and I’ll have it on the internet sometime this week. I’m going to try not to make it too long, though. I’m going to try not to make it over 25 minutes. If it does go over 25 minutes, gonna have to do some cutting.

Getting excited about this. Hope it gets lot of views but if not, that’s okay too!

Videoblog about my powerlifting adventures will come sometime next week…

So all weekend, I’ve been working on a test run of the video intro and video outro of my first video blog about powerlifting. Yeah, I’ll be having an intro and outro to all of my videoblogs. I picked out great music for both the intro and the outro that works perfectly.

I’m pretty much done filming footage for my first videoblog but still, I got to video tape myself talking about my weightlifting and powerlifting stuff. I’ve been writing the script for that on the Teleprompter app. I’m going to make sure that my speeches on the videoblog are going to be very well-spoken. I’m going to make sure every word is going to be spoken clearly and slowly. I’m gonna try not to mumble and stutter. If I do happen to mumble and stutter and mess up, I’ll start over again until it’s perfect. That’s how I do videoblogs. I’ll admit that I’m not the greatest speaker in the world but me making videoblogs could help improve my speaking skills. I’ll be filming my speeches over and over again until I find a take that is absolute perfect.

I want these videoblogs to be entertaining and they will be, trust me. Some of you may ask, is me joining the videoblog bandwagon an ego trip? I’m sure that’s what some of you are thinking but not really. My goal with these videos that I’m planning is that I hope to inspire other people and even help others with their dreams and goals in life. They’re not gonna be just about me at all. That’s all I hope to do is inspire and motivate others to hit the gym no matter who they are. I’m going to be talking about scoliosis a lot in these videos and think it’s finally time to start bringing awareness to that condition. People want to believe that weightlifting is dangerous for people with scoliosis and I want to help debunk that myth completely.

I’m excited to release this video soon. I really think a lot of people will like these videos I’m planning and I’m hoping they’ll get a lot of views. If not, oh well, I just want to get “My Story” told. I think it’s time to do that.

There are so many misconceptions about me and people always judging me and shit and maybe these videoblogs will help people realize who I really am. That’s what videoblogs are good for. Show people who you really are, ya know? That’s the goal. Stay tuned.

My video project is coming along well so far, I’ve been working on it all week…

I’m taking my own online documentary project very seriously and planning on making the first video well as possible. I’m thinking a lot of people are going to like it and may find it inspiring. I’m hoping it’ll get a lot of views. I’m just filming footage for it all week. Writing my ideas down and plotting everything of what my first video for the project will be like.

What’s going to be on it is going to be me talking about my life… starting from my childhood until now. Kind of like my own “autobiography” but doing it in video format instead of writing a book.

I think my story finally needs to be told. I won’t get too personal about my life but it’s mostly going to be about how I discovered music and weightlifting. That’s what it’s mostly going to be about, music and weightlifting. That’s the idea, ya know?

I’m getting very excited about this project and I’m already having fun with it. When will the first video be uploaded online? Well, once I finished writing the script and filming footage, I’ll start editing it this weekend so the first video probably won’t be uploaded until sometime next week. I’ve been filming my gym days all week. Gonna film my deadlift days tomorrow. I’m going to do a self interview for this video too and I gotta start working on that. The video could end up being pretty long like 15 to 20 minutes. It’s gonna be a documentary and online autobiography.

I think this is a good idea and I want to get it done. This video is going to take a long time to make but I want to make it good. It will be “good”, trust me. I think you’ll like it. Even all the haters that I have out there may even find it inspiring. It’s gonna be a cool project. Stay tuned, y’all!

After Star Wars: Episode 9 will there be an Episode: 10, 11 and 12? Yes, I think there will be…

So Oscar Isaac confirms that Disney is ending the Skywalker saga at Star Wars: Episode 9. That’s it.

https://www.inverse.com/article/54015-star-wars-episode-ix-9-ending-skywalker-family-saga-prequels

So now that the Star Wars Episode 9 is gonna be the last of the Skywalker story, does this mean it’s the end of the original Star Wars series? No, I don’t think it’s over ’cause I think the original series will continue and continue. I think there will be an Episode 10, 11 and 12 but they won’t be about the Skywalker story anymore.

Yeah, there will be other Star Wars spinoffs and other trilogies in the works but I think the original series with the Episode numbers will continue on forever. After episode 9, there will be a whole new story.

In the new Star Wars trilogy episodes 7, 8 and 9 there is a reason for all these new young characters ’cause it’s an obvious “passing of the torch” kind of thing. I predict that Episodes 10, 11, and 12 will focus on the new characters. It’ll continue the stories of Rey, Finn, Poe and everyone else.

Star Wars will be around forever. It’s never going away kind of like how James Bond and Star Trek will never end.

I think it’ll be an interesting idea that Episodes 10, 11, and 12 will focus on Rey. Rey will definitely be a lot older in Episodes 10, 11, and 12 so hopefully they’ll keep Daisy Ridley for those movies and they probably will.

I’m looking forward to Star Wars 9. I’m loving all the Star Wars movies so far. I’m loving the spinoffs and yes, I thought “The Last Jedi” was fucking awesome. My only disappointment with the new Star Wars movies was that Disney didn’t reunite Han, Leia and Luke which is a bummer. Would have been awesome if that happened.

My upcoming vlogs about powerlifting will be documentary style, almost like a reality show or something…

In the past, I thought about making my video project that I’ve been talking about with a professional film maker that I would hire. I realized that’s gonna be pretty costly. Hiring a local film maker to make a documentary about me won’t be cheap, I know that. I already have some pretty decent film making skills myself and I think I make good enough videos. I think it’s better to make the online documentary about me all by myself. I have a handheld digital camera which I haven’t used in a long time but I’m gonna start using it again. I also have an Ipad and Ipod Touch with cameras on them so I’m gonna film plenty of footage.

The documentary about me will have music on them, they’ll have me doing voiceovers, I’m going to film myself everywhere as much as possible, I’ll do my own interviews and all that stuff. I’m going to do this video project all by myself except I’m going to have other people film me ’cause there are going to be times where I won’t be able to hold the camera on my own. I already do a pretty good job making professional enough videos so I might as well do it all by myself.

Like I said in a previous post, I plan on buying a new Ipad and a new Ipod Touch for a much improved camera. I do have a handheld digital camera too, though.

This is gonna be an awesome project and looking forward to sharing my life story with everyone.

I’m currently filming footage for the project this week already. The powerlifting videos will be an ongoing series, I think.

One of the reasons I respect Sly Stallone so much is that he’s not afraid to sacrifice his body to put on a good action movie…

When Sly does action movies, he has done most of his own stunts over the years and he was never afraid to put his body on the line just to put on a good action movie. He has gotten serious injuries while filming action movies in the past, many times. His most serious injury that he had while filming was that Stone Cold Steve Austin broke his neck for real and now part of Sly’s neck is made of metal ’cause of it.

“Rambo: Last Blood” must be a pretty serious action movie if Sly said that film put a lot of damage in his body. A lot of people have been skeptical of “Rambo: Last Blood” ’cause of its Western feeling of the film so far but Sly kept teasing on instagram that “Last Blood” will have a lot of violence and blood and I believe him. Trust Sly, y’all. Rambo “Last Blood” will make us Rambo fans happy, I’m sure.

It seems to me that Sly doesn’t care if he gets injuries or puts damage to his body or not ’cause the man is willing to do anything to put on a great action movie. This is impressive especially for a man who’s in his 70’s right now.

I can’t wait for “Rambo: Last Blood”, though as the film is hitting the theaters in Sept. and I’m sure we’ll get our first trailer real soon. Hopefully we get the trailer this Spring ’cause I’m sure there will be a lot of heavy marketing of the film this year. Could be the biggest action of the movie of the year if marketed right. Hope it does well in the box office.

Making vlogs without getting copyright pings on music, there is a way…

So I’m making a full time return to video blogging this  year. Only thing, I would need all kinds of music for my vlogs. I would love to put all kinds of my favorite songs in my vlogs but of course, licensing and copyright would be an issue. I want to avoid getting those annoying copyright pings through facebook. There is a way to add music to your vlogs, though.

Throughout the internet there are plenty of music with “free-royalty” where you can legally download songs and sound effects for your vlogs. Just gotta go through google and do your research which I have been doing this week. I want to find all kinds of instrumental music for my vlogs ’cause I’m planning on making my vlogs kind of like my own reality show, where I film almost everything going on in my life. Kind of like my own TV show for the internet, ya know?

A lot of internet people have been doing this similar thing. Making their vlogs kind of like a reality show. I want to do the same thing. I want to do vlogs mostly on my weightlifting and powerlifting adventures, though. I also want to do stuff on my music ’cause I want to get the music thing going.

I think I’m due for a new Ipad and a new Ipod Touch ’cause I have the older versions of those. I have the old Ipad 2 and the old Ipod Touch 4. The older those devices get, the more problems I have with them ’cause I’m having all kinds of problems with both of those devices when trying to make videos. Apple does it on purpose as a way to force you to buy new devices and I think I will do that this year. I’m planning on buying the Ipad Air and the Ipod Touch Generation 6. I could use a better camera anyways.

I took a long hiatus from vlogging but I want to get back into it full time. I just want to entertain my supporters and have fun and hopefully get even more supporters with vlogging.

Blogging on wordpress is pretty much dead nowadays. No one cares for regular blogs anymore. Vlogging has now taken over and I’m about to join the bandwagon full time. This is gonna be fun.

RIP: Caroline Isachsen aka Motherjudge…

I am pretty bummed about this news. I never knew Caroline but I was always a huge fan, admirer and supporter. I first heard about Caroline aka Motherjudge when she did a performance on the Sounding Board TV show from years back. While I never knew her much, we did talk online for a little bit, though.

She was definitely one of the best local performers around the area. She had a singing voice that would send chills down your spine and give you goosebumps. I never saw her live but I’ve seen plenty of her live performances on youtube.

I’ve always had immense respect for Motherjudge. She was an artist who was humble and was a very nice lady from what I’ve seen. We definitely need more musicians like her ’cause she was one of the very few good ones.

RIP Motherjudge and thanks for the great music. A sad loss in the Capital Region. Cancer sucks. I’ve lost 4 different people in my life due to cancer.

T-Nation article… 7 gym gym rules never to break… but sadly people break ’em anyways…

This is a great article on T-Nation which a great fitness/bodybuilding site that is popular online. In this article, it lists 7 rules to never break and they’re all good ones too. Sadly, I see people break them all the time especially 1, 2, and 4.

Check out the opinion piece article here:

https://www.t-nation.com/opinion/the-7-gym-rules-never-to-break?fbclid=IwAR1P–aQJ5-I74B9fSx3IrB1loAMhqR-hWaftKpV7XkN9DlB7ITt5Y4_S14

My thoughts on No. 1, “Don’t Perv On Women”…

I do talk to women at times at the gym but I’m not there to hit on them or pick up dates. I respect the women’s time at the gym. Usually when I talk to a woman it’s just a quick “Hello, how are you” and that’s probably about it.

At the gym, I see guys chatting it up with the ladies all the time. It’s amazing to me how long they talk to each other especially in the weight room. They talk so long in between sets and it’s a waste of time for your muscles and your body. It’s not good to take really long rests in between your sets and that becomes a huge problem when people chat it up for so long. I see guys walking up to some random woman to chat her up all the time even when she’s working out! Crazy! I don’t use the gym to hit on the ladies. I go to the gym to get a good workout in and then I’m done.

Thoughts on No. 2, “Don’t Share Your Training Wisdom”…

Getting unsolicited advice seems to be a big problem and I’ve gotten that before. When people thought I was in trouble lifting weights, some meatheads would try to come over to save the day when I knew what I was doing. For example, I was benching 1 rep maxes by myself with no spotter but with these benches at my local gym, you don’t really need a spotter ’cause they have these side arms or safety arms whatever you want to call them. I missed a bench lift and some dude would try and come over and play “hero” to save me but I set the bar on the safeties and nothing happened to me. The dude thought I was gonna kill myself on the bench or something but I knew what I was doing. That’s what the safety arms on the bench are for, some people don’t realize that. I think they were built on there so you can bench alone without a spotter. This happened a couple of times when a dude was trying to save me from a missed bench when benching alone. I knew what I was doing and some dudes just want to play “hero” in the gym and nothing more. I appreciate them looking after me and looking out for my well-being, but dude, what they do is really rude. I do get a spotter when I think I’m in absolute need of one, though. I know what I’m doing when benching by myself and there are gonna be a few idiots that think I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m starting to bench in the squat rack more, though.

Thoughts on No. 4., “Pick Up Your Shit”…

Oh yeah, I hear this one. People leave weights on the floors and on equipment after they’re done and it’s annoying that people don’t pick up after themselves. It pisses me off really. Sometimes I have no choice but to go around the gym putting weights back to where they belong even if I didn’t use them just to be nice and respectful to the gym. Going to the gym maybe fun and all but there will be all kinds of inconsiderate jackasses in the gym too. People don’t put the weights back, they leave trash behind and all that stuff. Crazy.

Gym etiquette is a real problem at gyms lately and it continues to get worse. In the old days, we used to go to the gym to get away from annoying people but now annoying people are all over gyms. Real sad!
