Report: Gore Verbinski pulls out of “Pirates 4” to bring “Bioshock” video game to the big screen!!!

The longtime director for the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series, Gore Verbinski has pulled out of directing “Pirates 4” that he was attached to. He revealed the news to Disney, that he will not do the fourth one. The fourth one is still in development but not yet greenlit by Walt Disney pictures.

Why is Gore Verbinski pulling out of “Pirates 4” after making 3 successful films for the series? Verbinski plans to stay focused on bringing the hit video game, “Bioshock” to the big screen in a live action motion picture.

I’m still in the middle of playing the game “Bioshock” for the PS3. The game is getting even more challenging now. Most movies adapted from video games are crap, but I think “Bioshock” would make a great movie if they did it right. “Bioshock” tells a great story that is definitely movie material.

Cool Video: “Star Trek” premieres in Austin, Texas with film introduced by Leonard Nimoy!!!

JJ Abrams “Star Trek” may have premiered in Sydney, Australia, but Leonard Nimoy, the original Spock, already brought the film to Austin, Texas, before they did!!! How cool is that!!!

In Austin, Texas, at the Alamo Drafthouse, it was advertised that they were going to show the film “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” in it’s entirety with 10 minutes of Abrams “Star Trek” before it.

In these videos, three men introducing “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan”…as the movie starts, the movie stopped somewhere during the film, making it look like it had technical problems. Then all of a sudden Leonard Nimoy, the man himself walks on stage and giving the audience a huge surprise, that they are going to show the new “Star Trek” movie in it’s entirety instead.

Man, if I was there attending that event, I would have been floored. Watch these videos for this amazing moment. Oh my!

Report: Coldplay defends “Viva La Vida” in court, says Joe Satch’s song shouldn’t receive copyright protection…

Coldplay is fighting Joe Satriani in Federal Court today. Chris Martin and the guys in Coldplay are attending Federal Court, it seems that Joe Satriani himself isn’t there. Satch’s lawyer, Howard E. King, is doing the battling for him.

Coldplay denies “similarities” between the songs, “Viva La Vida” and, “If I Could Fly”, and says that the two songs weren’t enough to warrant damages. Which I agree with. Coldplay also says that Satriani’s song lacks, “originality” and shouldn’t receive copyright protection. Is Coldplay accusing Joe of ripping off the band?

I actually agree with the band, Coldplay, that the two songs sound nothing like each other. Those that think they do sound similar, aren’t very smart and intelligent about music. I think everybody sticks by Joe Satriani’s side, because he isn’t a mainstream musician like Coldplay is.

Joe Satriani has no case, and has no way to prove that Coldplay ripped him off. And why isn’t Joe Satriani himself isn’t attending court in person? If he’s that desperate to win this battle, do you think he’d be there too? Unfortunately, he isn’t. The reason he isn’t there because Joe knows he’s going to lose this battle. Joe attacked Coldplay for publicity, hoping that will help make the Satch a mainstream artist.

I’m not defending Coldplay, not to be a fan, although I am a fan of Coldplay’s music, that’s not the reason I’m defending them. The reason I’m defending Coldplay is that it’s about being real and honest. If I was in the jury of that federal court battle, I would have done anything it took to prove Coldplay innocent to the other jury members.

Coldplay is going to win this battle, all the way. Sorry, Satch, but your ego isn’t going anywhere.

Thought: I don’t find Dana White’s video rant offensive at all…get used to the swearing and nasty talk…

I find it amazing to me and hilarious that so many people online find his video rant against Loretta Hunt offensive. I didn’t find it offensive at all. People swear and cuss. SO FUCKING WHAT!!!!

All my life, I have been around with plenty of people that says the words “fuck”, “bitch” or “asshole” or any swear word at least 20 times in one sentence. When people swear in conversation, they are not swearing as if they are angry. People swear ’cause I guess it’s their way of grabbing people’s attention in a conversation or people swear because they think they are cool and tough doing it.

Even I swear all the time. Can you tell? I even swear in my blog. Fuck, fuck, fuckity fuck. It’s just the way some people talk.

I think Dana was being honest, but in a brutal honest tone. I don’t think he was really all that “angry” ’cause in that video, he joked around with his friend that sat next to him on the couch in that room he was in.

When you’re a guy like Dana White, Vince McMahon or Donald Trump who is big, rich and famous…you can talk like that all you want. Why do people find it a fucking surprise that Dana talks like that? He works for the fighting business, please understand that, folks.

I’m not defending Dana White, I’m just being real here. Swearing don’t bother me, don’t bother me at all. I like swearing in movies, fiction novels, music, etc. You hear swearing everywhere. Swearing is a cool language and a cool expression.

You think Dana is going to lose his job because of that video? No. Why? Because it’s the UFC. Those guys are supposed to act like that. They are supposed to act mean and tough.

When Dana came out and apologized for the video rant, he’s not apologizing ’cause of the swearing, he’s only apologizing for the gay slur he made on there. Don’t take swearing so seriously. If you do then you must be in some kind of religion.

Filming of “The Expendables” has just begun, see pics of Stallone in action here…

Sly has started filming of “The Expendables” in Brazil today. He’s not wasting any time and got right to work on his own action scenes.

See the photos below. This is already looking like to be a great action flick. Sly chasing after a plane on foot? Sly doing his own stunts in the film?

More pics to come. Enjoy.
