Report: Majel Barrett-Roddenberry laid to rest today…

Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, the first lady of Star Trek, has been laid to rest today. She was laid to rest at a Los Angeles cemetery. The funeral service was open to the public. It was even opened for Star Trek fans, yes, many of the Star Trek fans showed up wearing Star Trek uniforms, pins, and other clothing you see in the series. Some cast members of Star Trek showed up as well. Star Trek veterans, Nichelle Nichols, Walter Koenig, and George Takei were there to mourn their friend. There was no sign of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy being there.

Isn’t it amazing that so many die hard Star Trek fans all over the country travelled all the way to L.A. to support a famous person they don’t even know? At a funeral? As a die hard Trekkie myself, I couldn’t even attend the funeral ’cause it would be too emotional for me. Yes, I probably would have cried if I attended the funeral. This moment is almost like Spock dying in “Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan” but this is obviously real life.

RIP Majel, such a sad loss. We shall celebrate her work with the Star Trek computer for one last time when we see JJ Abrams new film.

Jimmy Page needs to announce his new band soon, so he can kill the Led Zeppelin reunion rumors for good!!!

Jimmy Page still hasn’t announced his new band yet with a new singer. I feel he will sometime this year. The Led Zeppelin reunion tour rumours still don’t want to quit in the media. The rumours are giving Pagey and Plant a headache. Once Jimmy announces the new band, that will for sure, squash the Led Zep rumours for good.

Who ever the new singer is, I don’t think it will be Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge. I’m sure the new singer will be a surprise and will shock the world, you never know who’s it going to be. It can be a completely unknown singer, somebody we’ve never heard of before or it could be a big name. Jimmy Page is always unpredictable. You just never know what that guy is going to do next. Don’t be surprised if the new singer could be Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes ’cause it could be a possibility as well.

As much as I love Led Zeppelin, fuck the reunion and fuck the Led Zep tour. If you were a true Led Zeppelin fanatic like myself, you would let the band go out on a positive note which was the Ahmet Ertegun O2 show. I actually agree with Robert Plant not rejoining them full time. Like I said in a post before, he’s too old for the rock n’ roll thing which is the whole fuckin’ point of tuning down keys in certain songs ’cause he couldn’t hit the high notes anymore.

He’s great with the country and bluegrass thing with Alison. Let him do that and let him move on. Led Zeppelin went out on a negative note with John Bonham dying and they wanted to come back to the O2 to play one last final show and go out in a good way. Leave it at that. Led Zeppelin continues their tour with Plant, they could fuck up their legacy by Plant not being able to sing anymore, so I’m all for Led Zeppelin not getting back together.

I want the guys moving on to new things, moving forward, not backwards. That’s what its all about. I’m looking forward to seeing what Pagey has in store for us with his new band and I know it’ll be really great. Pagey never dissapoints no matter what project outside of Zeppelin he does. Come on Jimmy!! Announce the new band soon ’cause the Led Zep reunion rumours are giving me a headache!!!

John Travolta’s Top 5 Best films!!!

In honor of John Travolta, whether you agree with his Scientology stuff or not, you’ll have to admit that he has starred in some really great films.

These are in my opinion, his best work he’s ever done…

1. Pulp Fiction

(Need I say more? His best role, his best character in one kick ass film. In fact, I’m in the mood to watch this tonight!)

2. Wild Hogs

(Another one of his best roles, he plays a really good character in this flick, this movie is funny and very enertaining)

3. Face/Off

(A John Woo directed, action/thriller where he stars with Nicolas Cage, a great film, it’s another one of my favorite’s of Travolta’s)

4. The Punisher

(In the Thomas Jane version of the Punisher, John Travolta plays a very good villain, another one of my favorite characters of John’s. John makes a really good bad guy and if you haven’t seen this version of the Punisher yet, do yourself a favor, rent it or buy the DVD!!!)

5. Saturday Night Fever

(I can not leave out one of his dance flicks!!! Fuck “Grease”, that film is crap. I love “Saturday Night Fever” way more!!! Everytime “Saturday Night Fever” is on TV, I find myself watching it. I must own the DVD sometime which I do not have yet…now I got the Bee Gees “Stayin’ Alive” stuck in my head now…)

Getting good at “Dead Space”, halfway through the game!!!

A while back I said I was going to start this game “Dead Space” over again because I got stuck on this one chapter, that I couldn’t get past one of the bosses ’cause of low ammo on one of the guns. Well I did start the game over again about a week ago and I got past that part I was stuck on successfully. There are 12 chapters in the game. Now I’m just starting Chapter 7 as I just completed Chapter 6 today. So that means, I’m almost done with the game already and I should have the whole thing beat by next week.

Yes, I’m playing this game on the difficulty/hard mode. It is a very challenging game but it’ll be easier for you if you practice, use some skill with your weapon, and have patience.

It’s a killer game and the monsters they created for the game are mind blowing. When you’re walking through the hallways of the spaceship, you never know when a monster will jump out at you and that’s what makes the game kind of scary. The game is sick and amazing, it is reccomended to all gamers out there.

Report: Jett Travolta to be buried in Ocala, Florida…

Jett Travolta’s body will be flown to Ocala, Florida where he will be buried. It is said Ocala is where the Travolta family currently lives. The home in Ocala where Travolta lives is the one where it has it’s own airport and an actual runway. Everyone knows that John loves flying planes and that’s what he does for a passion other than acting in film. It is also said that John and Kelly are both nightowls, the type of people who enjoy staying awake all night and sleep during the day.

TMZ says it was John Travolta himself who tried to save Jett’s life and revive him, but there was nothing anybody could do.

Yep, John is heartbroken and forever will be. I hope this won’t affect John’s movie career by quitting acting ’cause of his son’s death. If he does decide to quit acting because of his son, that’s understandable because family comes first before work. I don’t think John will quit but he will take a long break from film for sure. God bless, John and Kelly. John Travolta is a good man with heart who don’t deserve this.

Report: First look at new Michael Myers for “H2”, plus, Rob says he will take Michael to the extremes!!!

Rob Zombie, director of the new “H2” Halloween sequel, gave a first look preview of the new Michael Myers mask.

He also says that Michael Myers will be even more evil than before. Michael will be more intense, bigger, meaner, and nastier. Tyler Mane is set to reprise his role as Michael.

REMINDER: Friday Night Lights Season 3 to return on Jan. 16th, TWO WEEKS AWAY!!!! :-)

FNL fans!!! The wait is almost over! “Friday Night Lights” the best show on television will make it’s return on Jan. 16th and that’s two weeks away! Just around the corner! Please everyone! Tune in and watch, enjoy. The show is very good and it isn’t lying when it says it’s the best show on TV because it is. Most shows on TV are such crap, but “FNL” is one of the very few shows that I LOVE to watch!!!

This show for this season needs as many people as it can to tune in so we can get a Season 4. Low ratings is the reason this show was this close to getting cancelled. So please watch the show to save it!

Believe me, the show is very good and it deserves to stay on the air for a long time. I sure can’t wait!!
