Report: Tom Cruise wants to play Les Grossman more…but will the character get his own spinoff movie?

Tom Cruise loves playing the Les Grossman character so much (a character he plays in Ben Stiller’s “Tropic Thunder”) that he wants to play the character much more.

In this article, Cruise doesn’t say whether Les Grossman will get his own movie where the character is the lead but Cruise does want to do short videos with the character, like for youtube and stuff like that. Cruise says he needs to speak with Ben Stiller first, before he moves forward with the character because Les Grossman is Stiller’s creation.

Tom Cruise’s next film is titled “Valkyrie” a Nazi World War II flick directed by Bryan Singer which is about a group of German officers out to kill Adolf Hitler, the film comes out Christmas day.

Tom also appeared on a new episode of “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno last night where he talked about the Les Grossman character and Valkyrie. Tom was actually a good boy on Jay Leno last night. He didn’t talk about Scientology or didn’t do any couch jumping or nothing like that, Tom was actually decent on Leno last night.

Hmmmm…will Les Grossman appear on stage at the Golden Globes to pick up his award? Will Grossman present an award at the Oscars?

This is a great character Tom plays, although I don’t like him too much. Les Grossman in “Tropic Thunder” is fucking hilarious, you gotta see it.

Axl Rose has always been the type of guy to avoid interviews with the press like with TV, newspapers, magazines, etc. Axl was nice enough to accept the opportunity by regular fans like us to answer fan questions through the most popular Guns N’ Roses fan sites on the web. This is a no holds barred “Fan Q&A” where Axl just speaks whatever he wants with honesty.

It’s a great interview, I enjoyed the read. He speaks on a lot of topics. I finally got my copy of “Chinese Democracy”. It’s a killer album. Axl’s a fine songwriter.

BREAKING NEWS: Hugh Jackman is set to host the 81st Annual Oscars…

The Academy announced, the shocking news that “Australia’s” leading star and he received the award for People’s “Sexiest Man Alive”, Hugh Jackman is set to host the 81st Annual Oscar Awards on February 22nd in 2009. He will be taking over comedian Jon Stewart’s spot as host. Jon Stewart host of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, hosted the Oscars the last two years. The next two years maybe Jackman’s turn.

How much do you want to bet that Hugh’s going to be making jokes of his “Sexiest Man Alive” award throughout most of the show? He’s probably going to be making fun of himself for entertainment value.

Coldplay Vs. Joe Satriani: The two songs don’t sound the same at all to me, what the hell kind of fantasy world you all living in?

All week, I’ve been listening to the two songs…Joe Satriani “If I Could Fly” guitar instrumental and Coldplay’s hit “Viva La Vida” to compare the songs, to see if they sound exactly the same that so many people claim out there.

They don’t sound the same at all. To me, they are completely different songs. The chord progressions are totally different, and both songs are not in the same key. If you know music, Coldplay’ s “Viva La Vida”, I believe is in the key of C#Db. And Satch’s “If I Could Fly” is definitely in the key of F#, so the tone in Satch’s song is a much higher key than Coldplay’s song.

If you hum or sing along to the melody of Joe’s song and Coldplay’s song both, you would see right away that Joe’s guitar leads are much different than Chris Martin’s vocal lines. Sure, there are similarities some but Chris Martin did NOT copy every little thing in Joe’s song. The chorus of Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” is kind of similar to Joe’s guitar lead but if you listen carefully and hum along to it, note by note, you would notice that both songs are going in different places.

I still feel that Chris and the guys in Coldplay are innocent, and I feel the jury will ask the judge for a dismissal. If Joe’s planning on having a jury in court, then lets hope the court will have profesional musicians in the jury and they’ll immediately know if they are the same or different.

Read between the lines, Joe Satriani attacked Coldplay for publicity. The only reason so many people are agreeing that Coldplay ripped off Joe is because Coldplay is a big easy target in the music industry. So they all stand by Joe’s side.

I love Joe as a musician and guitarist too, he’s a hero of mine and Satch is an inspiration, but that still don’t mean I have to stand by his side. I don’t agree with Satch’s lawsuit on this. It’s pretty stupid and lame, will get Joe nowhere. For many years in Joe Satriani’s career since back in the 80’s, he’s been a great guy until now.

He’s never been the sue happy musician, he’s always been nice and down to earth, I don’t think he’s had an ego problem until today. Joe’s the one who brought Kirk Hammett into the music industry ’cause Joe taught Kirk how to play guitar. Joe Satriani taught many other famous musicians to play guitar too. Joe’s going to lose this thing. End of story.

Jennifer Aniston, the former star of “Friends” who played Rachel is on the cover of GQ magazine. Isn’t it amazing what photography and photoshop can do? No female celebrities look perfect like that.

Here is Jennifer before that pic, notice how her skin is different from the pic above and notice her boobs are smaller in this pic:

If you think celebrity women are perfect like that in real life, you need a reality check.

On top of that, Jennifer Aniston is still hot and pretty smokin’ looking even without the magazine perfection.

Report: New Rochelle High School censors “Girl, Interrupted” novel by ripping out pages…

New Rochelle High School, which is a high school over in New Rochelle, New York…is censoring adult content from the novels that students are supposed to read for homework assignments.

“Girl, Interrupted” which is a novel about a woman named Susanna Kaysen who has been sent to a mental hospital for having a borderline personality disorder, while there, she befriends another young woman named Lisa Rowe. The novel was written by Susanna Kaysen herself, which tells her real life story, the novel was later made into a film that stars Angelina Jolie and Winona Ryder.

New Rochelle High is so disgusted by the adult content in the book that they are ripping out a lot of pages, any pages that has strong language and strong sexual content, out rips a page.

Susanna Kaysen herself won’t be happy when she hears about this! She is 60 years old now and she is still alive and well from my understanding.

What the hell is the book doing at a high school to begin with? It shouldn’t even be there if they are so offended by it. Getting rid of the book is better than ripping out pages.

I hope Susanna fights for her work and sues that damn school!!!! “Girl, Interrupted” is one of my favorite movies though, I never read the book yet.
