Cool Video: Stallone steals the spotlight backstage at the Ricky Hatton fight…

Fighter Ricky Hatton warms up for his match while his friends and his team are hanging out backstage with him at the MGM Grand.

4 famous celebrities are backstatge as well. Noel and Liam Gallagher are backstage. Noel is in the green jacket with the funny looking British hair, Liam is the one wearing an all black suit wearing sunglasses. Noel is backstage chatting it up with David Beckham, the famous soccer player. Jason Statham is also backstage as well.

Sly doesn’t walk in backstage until about 3:49 in the video, but as soon as Sly walks in, the music turns off, it is suddenly quiet and the whole room was like starring at Sly with a “Woah, that is Sly” look on their faces.

Later in the video, you see Noel chatting it up with Jason Statham. You also see Noel posing for pics with young Oasis fans backstage. But everybody seems to pay attention to Sly once he walked in, lol!!! That just proves that Sly Stallone is a fucking legend, man.

Film Review: Quantum of Solace

So on a day of Christmas shopping at the mall today, I did end up seeing a movie so I decided to see the new 007 flick “Quantum of Solace”.

Plot synopsis: “Quantum of Solace” is actually the continuing sequel from the first movie “Casino Royale”. Bond is out to seek revenge after being betrayed by Vesper Lynd, the woman he fell in love with in “Casino Royale”. Bond captures a man named Mr. White which he reveals the man who stole Bond’s casino winnings, when he was playing poker back in “Casino Royale”. M (Judy Dench) warns Bond that this mission could be dangerous and risky, but Bond ignores her and vowed to complete his mission.

Bond discovers that a man named Dominic Greene who is a member of the Quantum organization which he poses as an environmentalist who aims to take complete control over water supply in Bolivia. Bond later learns that he needs to stop Dominic Greene from taking control of the water supply, the more Bond does that, the more he gets closer and closer for finding the people who ever hired Vesper Lynd to mess with Bond’s life.

My thoughts on the movie? I would like to add this movie to one of the worst movies of 2008. Yes, this movie was that bad. I hated it. I thought “Casino Royale” was amazing but “Quantum of Solace” was laughable. The storyline was kind of interesting, but the acting, the action scenes, the filming, etc. We’re very poorly done. The action scenes were pretty silly that they reminded me of Pierce Brosnan’s 007 films. Thumbs down to “Quantum of Solace”. “Casino Royale” was an amazing movie, I loved it to death, but the 007 films have gone downhill quickly when this piece of shit came out. Definitely wait for DVD on this one.

Report: Pearl Jam “Ten” reissue being released March 24th…

Pearl Jam announced the band will release four different re-issue editions of their very first album “Ten”. The 4 reissues will of course, include the original album “Ten” which will be produced by Brendan O’ Brien, and also each 4 of those editions will include 6 unreleased songs from that era. Although Brendan O’ Brien did NOT produce “Ten” originally, he will record his vision and style of sound for the new version of “Ten”. The band have been wanting O’ Brien to record his version of “Ten” for years because the boys in Pearl Jam enjoy O’ Brien’s work in the studio.

The discs will also include a free DVD of their unreleased MTV Unplugged live performance with 5.1 Surround Sound. The re-issue’s of “Ten” will also be available for vinyl LP’s, for you longtime vinyl collectors.

The 4 editions of Pearl Jam “Ten” will hit stores everywhere March 24th. This is part of celebrating the legendary album’s 20th Anniversary. In 1991, when this band named Pearl Jam first came into the music industry, the band took the music world by storm, selling millions of copies and winning lots of awards for this album. This is indeed one of the biggest albums in the history of music.

It’s about time this album is getting a re-issue!!! I’ve been waiting for this to happen. I love this album to death, it’s an important album to me, one of my top ten faves. It’s one album I can listen to over and over and never get tired of it. Pearl Jam is an incredible band, I’ve always loved them. They haven’t made one album in their career that sucked, I love all of their music so far. I’m definitely going to pick up the re-issue of “Ten” in March. Hell yeah!!!

Report: Paula Abdul upset with “American Idol” producers… Will she leave the show and quit?

Uh oh. Paula Abdul is pretty pissed off at the “American Idol” producers because she is blaming the death of Paula Goodspeed, her longtime stalker, on the producers of the hit TV show. She is blaming “American Idol” for feuling Goodspeed’s obsession with Abdul which led her to her suicide in front of Abdul’s home. Abdul requested to the producers to not let Goodspeed audition for Season 5 but the producers let Goodspeed audition anyways, even though Abdul tried to explain to them she had been her stalker for years. Paula Goodspeed have been an obsessive fan of Paula Abdul since Abdul’s pop music career back in the 80’s.

Reports have been saying that Abdul have been pretty upset over Goodspeed’s death, Abdul couldn’t sleep at night because of it and she is planning on moving to a new home.

Is this a big sign that Paula Abdul could quit being a judge of the popular show and could she sue “American Idol”?

I too blame it all on “American Idol”. People think “American Idol” is full of good and talented people but honestly, the show has brought out a lot of crazy people and whackos. The auditions prove that.

I think the only reason “A.I.” let Goodspeed audition for Season 5 was just so Goodspeed can have the opportunity to get closer to Abdul face to face.

Report: Chris Weitz been offered to direct “New Moon” by Summit Entertainment…

Summit Entertainment is not wasting any time trying to find a director replacement for “New Moon”. Summit Entertainment offered film director Chris Weitz an opportunity to direct the “Twilight” sequel. He is the director of such films as “The Golden Compass”, the first “American Pie” comedy film, and “About a Boy”.

I don’t like the director choice. I hope he turns it down and Summit finds a better choice. I still say go for either M. Night Shyamalan or Sam Raimi. Either of those two guys would improve the Twilight series for everyone to see it.

Oh my, a big Hollywood actress is interested in the Senate for New York State, taking over Hillary’s spot.

For those who don’t know who she is, she is the star of the sitcom “The Nanny” and starred in a handfull of movies such as “This is Spinal Tap”, Weird Al’s “UHF”, “Cadillac Man”, “Jack” (that also starred Robin Williams), and plenty more.

Report: “Wall-E” named Best Picture of the Year by the Los Angeles Film Critics…

The Los Angeles Film Critics Assn. has named “Wall-E”, an animated film about a robot made by Disney/Pixar, “Best Picture of the Year”. For them, this is the first time an animated movie has been named “Best Picture”. “The Dark Knight” is the runners up.

Is this a sign that “Wall-E” could get Best Picture nomination for the Oscars and it could actually win? That’s why this year’s Oscars is so unpredictable.

“Wall-E” does look amazing and I’ve been dyin’ to see it ever since it first came out in theater but I never did. I did put the “Wall-E” DVD on my Christmas wishlist so hopefully I’ll get “Wall-E” under the Christmas tree also. “Wall-E” looks like a great flick and can’t wait to see it.

Report: Eastwood NOT ready to give up acting yet!!!

Clint Eastwood is an actor/film director who is always known for either starring in a film he’s directed or not starring in it at all. The reason Eastwood is still acting is because he is not giving it up. The man says so himself.

Report: Jennifer Hudson is going back to work, set to film music video for her song, “If It Isn’t Love”…

Jennifer Hudson’s record label, J Records, had announced that Jennifer is ready to go back to work on her music career. She is set to film a music video to her song “If It Isn’t Love”, a song from her debut album. She was going to film it earlier in the year but since her tragedy with her family happened, her plans filming a music video were postponed.

Jennifer was also nominated for Best R&B album for this year’s Grammy Awards.
