Whose Side Are You On: Radiohead vs. Prince…

Prince is on another war against youtube again! This is nothing new isn’t it? Videos of Prince covering Radiohead’s hit song of “Creep” at this year’s Coachella is being removed from youtube by the request of the Purple One himself. *ahem* HELLO, PRINCE! YOU DID NOT WRITE THE SONG!!!!

Radiohead’s Thom Yorke is calling out on Prince trying to remind him that “Creep” is Radiohead’s song, not Prince’s. And Thom Yorke is exactly right, Radiohead wrote the song “Creep”, they own the copyright. So if Radiohead wants the Prince version up on youtube, it should stay up.

I’m siding with Radiohead all the way. I used to respect Prince but now I fuckin’ can’t stand the guy anymore. Prince is an egomaniac and a control freak. The dude only cares about himself and the money and fame he makes with the music. He could care less about his fans or Radiohead fans.

Radiohead owns the copyright to “Creep”. When performing live shows, famous and unsigned artists have the right to cover any song they please, but if they release a cover song on an album or video, bands would of course need the original artist permission.

Prince is a fucking hypocrite for whining about his fans using his work without his copyright permission when he should look at Radiohead’s work with youtube. Fuck Prince and his music.

I give the former Prince fans credit for making Prince Fans United and fighting back at this asshole. Kudos to Thom for speaking out about this! Boycott Prince’s music career already!

Thought: “The Strangers” getting strong reviews all over the internet…

Starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman, “The Strangers” a new horror film based on real events is getting strong and positive reviews by critics all over the web. The more I read about it the more it makes me want to see this film in theater next. I would have seen “The Strangers” today but I winded up seeing Indy again instead. Everyone is saying “The Strangers” is actually a very scary and creepy film, probably the scariest horror film made in a long time. I hope they’re right. Most horror films are popcorn flicks that aren’t scary but fun. But this film here is actually a serious one and supposed to be scary. I’m gonna have to check out “The Strangers” before it stops playing.

BREAKING NEWS: MOLE FOUND ON R. KELLY’S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

For the past few weeks in the R. Kelly child pornography trial, R. Kelly and his attorneys has maintained that there is no mole on R. Kelly’s back in the video and the naked black man having sex with an underage girl on the videotape is not him. Yesterday on Thursday a video forensics expert named Grant Fredericks was brought in to get more deeper into the video. Fredericks successfully found the mole on the back of the man in the video in the same spot that was described where the mole was.

Kelly’s attorney Ed Genson continue to cover up and claim that the mole in the video is at a different spot and could be a technical imperfection. Kelly’s attorneys continue to maintain it is not R. Kelly in the video.

Report: Fake Angelina Jolie birth rumours in France started by Entertainment Tonight…

Just more reasons to hate them Entertainment Tonight TV news magazines. ET was the first to exclusively report that Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins in France but Angie’s reps say it’s not true. She has not giving birth yet, she’s just enjoying her time with Brad and the adopted kids in France.

In reality, Angie herself hasn’t yet decided if she will give birth in France.

Angie just recently released “Kung Fu Panda” an animated movie which she does voice overs, Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman are in the film too. She is also releasing a film with Clint Eastwood titled “The Changeling”.

Thought: Back from seeing “Indy and the Crystal Skull” for the second time!!!!

Yep, you heard that right, I just got back from the mall from seeing “Indiana Jones 4” this afternoon. I loved it even more than the first time I saw it. I learned a lot more things about the film the second time I’ve seen it. Those who don’t like the film or think it was ok, go see it again and again, I’m sure it’ll grow on you and it’s an original film with a different story. I like the storytelling in Indy 4.

I didn’t buy any new videogames today ’cause I gotta stop buying them for a while after I beat GTA 4 and several other games I haven’t beaten yet.

So instead I picked up a few movies on DVD and a few music CD’s. I picked up the new Rambo 2 disc DVD (I didn’t get the Blu Ray, I went for the DVD instead), and I also picked up the movie “I’m Not There” (the Bob Dylan biopic starring a bunch of different stars, Heath Ledger, Cate Blanchett, etc.). For music CD’s I picked up Mason Jennings new disc “In the Ever” and Scarlett Johansson’s “Anywhere I Lay My Head”.

I will reveiw all those soon.

Report: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson tells his ex-wife to know her role and shut her mouth…

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, former WWE wrestler and now turned movie star is divorced and officially a single man. Dwayne and his longtime wife of 10 years Dany have split in the summer of 2001, the divorce is now official, with TMZ showing the divorce papers for proof:

I blame this on the Rock’s movie work load. He seems to spend more time on making movies more than family so this is what the Rock gets, Dany to layeth the smackdown on the Rock’s candyass.

Report: Donnie Darko sequel signs two more actresses….

The sequel to the film “Donnie Darko” which is titled “S. Darko” has signed two more actresses to the film. Elizabeth Berkley who is famed for “Saved by the Bell” TV show and the movie “Striptease”, and Briana Evigan has been signed to the film.

Directed by Chris Fisher, the film has begun production in Utah. The film is set seven years after the first one with Samantha (Donnie Darko’s sister played by the same actress from the first one), who is dealing with her family, leaves with her best friend and is haunted by bizzare visions similar from the first one.

I wonder what Jake Gyllenhaal himself feels about the sequel. I wonder if he will see it himself or not. We’ll have to wait and find out.

The first film is what made Gyllenhaal a well known star. Hope the sequel won’t suck.

Thought: Will I go see “Sex and the City” film?

The wait is over. HBO’s longtime hit TV show made into a major motion picture is finally here. I am going to the mall this afternoon to see a flick but will I see this? Believe it or not, I was a fan of “Sex and the City” TV show when it used to be on HBO long ago but I don’t know if I will see the film or not. I’ve been seeing clips and previews of the film online, but for some reason I can’t seem to get an interest in the film. While I loved the TV show, the movie however is kind of questioning. I’m probably gonna end up waiting for DVD on this one.

“Sex and the City” will be a successful movie sure but that doesn’t mean it’s gonna be good. Could this film top “Iron Man”, “Prince Caspian” and “Indy” in the box office this weekend? “Sex and the City” will do well, but it definitely won’t top “Indy”. Just a prediction.

I think I would rather see “Indy and the Crystal Skull” again today instead.

Edit to add: Or I might check out that new horror film “The Strangers” instead, “The Strangers” that stars Liv Tyler, it sounds like an interesting flick.

Report: Steven Tyler finally speaks out about checking into rehab, confirms new Aerosmith album and tour! GREAT NEWS!!!! :)

Aerosmith fans! We can now sigh with relief! Because the good news is, that Steven Tyler turning himself into rehab had nothing to do with dangerous and illegal drugs. He’s having surgeries on his feet, he corrected to the media that he’s in rehabilitative care, it had nothing to do with drug addiction! He did it for a safe environment to get away from everything to get his feet back in shape. He also broke the big news that Aerosmith will go back into the studio to record new studio album and tour to follow.

Report: Clay Aiken finally proves to the world he isn’t gay, he likes his MILF!!!!

For many years now, former American Idol star, Clay Aiken has been speculated of being gay because of his girlish looks and his feminish speaking voice, he’s been given the nickname of “Gaiken”. He has also been quiet about his personal life when it comes to relationships. Now those rumours of Clay Aiken being gay could help come to a stop.

Clay Aiken has been dating a female executive producer who happens to be 50 years of age and Clay is only 29. Clay is dating 50 year old Jaymes Foster who he met while recording his new album “On My Way Here” due out in August.
