Report: Stallone blames Myanmar junta for the cyclone deaths…

Sylvester Stallone finally got the chance to speak out his thoughts on the cyclone disaster that hit the country of Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) which killed over 20,000 people and death toll is still rising. While promoting his new movie “Rambo” in Tokyo, Japan as you read this, Sly says that it’s the Myanmar junta and the goverment’s fault for all those deaths. Since before the cyclone hit, Myanmar is a country known for the governement and the Burmese armies being abusive and treating Myanmar civilians like slaves, it’s been like that for years in Myanmar and still is to this day.

Sly believes the reason for the deaths is just Myanmar government’s way of suffering the civilians some more by being unprepared for the cyclone.

More on it here:

I actually agree with Sly. Myanmar is a strict country. If the Myanmar government actually cared for their people, they would allow them to prepare to save lives from the cyclone and all those people would have been alive now. It’s obvious the Myanmar government doesn’t care for their own people. Myanmar goverment are very evil, hateful and spiteful people.

It’s a good thing Sly and the cast and crew of “Rambo” left filming before the cyclone hit, Sly and everyone else would have been dead too as you all know, “Rambo” was filmed directly on the borders between Myanmar and Thailand.

Edit to add: Here’s a video of it where Sly says all that from the mouth himself…

Cool Video: Radio interview with AC/DC’s Brian Johnson…

Ac/Dc frontman Brian Johnson finally came out of hiding after all these years and was interviewed a radiostation called WMGK 102.9, not sure where the radiostation is from.

In the interview they talk about Ac/Dc working on the new album of course, no album title has been decided yet. Brian talks about that Angus is hard to recognize when he’s not in the schoolboy suit. Brian admits that Angus is a very shy and quiet man, gets real nervous when performing on stage. During the bands break, Brian admits this is the longest Ac/Dc has ever been out of music.  Brian says he’s been working on music and writing songs with other bands people don’t know about on the bands hiatus, he’s also wrote 3 songs for a movie that he and a comedian friend worked on, plus Brian says he’s just having fun and enjoying life while Ac/Dc is on a hiatus.

Watch the youtube clip to hear this entertaining interview! Good to have you back Brian!

Report: Al Sharpton continues to protest in NYC after a day of being arrested…

After a day of being arrested for trying to stop rush hour traffic in New York City of protesting, Al Sharpton is planning another one. Charlie King the director of Sharpton’s National Action Network says the first protest was only the beggining and is about to get worse.

The Associated Press Reports:

It’s great to see that Al Sharpton is not giving up. He’s willing to take risks, he won’t care if he gets arrested again and again and again and again until justice is sought against the three cops who killed Sean Bell.

I used to hate Al Sharpton but I’m starting to respect the dude for this, he got my support now.

Keep up the great work Rev. Sharpton, you should be considered a hero now!

Report: Lancome seeks court order against Uma Thurman…

Actress Uma Thurman is in legal trouble again but this time it’s unrelated to the stalker case. After successsfully putting an innocent Jack Jordan into jail being “found” guilty of stalking, Lancome a french cosmetics giant wants the court to tell Uma Thurman that the company did not violate it’s contract with her. She is not entitled to the $1 million that she has demanded.

The company filed a lawsuit against Manhatten’s state Supreme Court saying that Uma Thurman threatened a lawsuit claiming the beauty products titan improperly used her name and picture in advertising.

More on it here:

Just shows how much of an egostitical money grubbing and power hungry woman Uma Thurman really is.

She got really good lawyers to put her own number one fan in jail, she’ll get out of this one too.

Report: Madonna “Sticky and Sweet” tour listings unleashed…

Here it is, straight from her official website:

https://tickets.madonna.com/

As predicted, Madonna think she is too big and famous for Albany and Saratoga, but you gotta give credit for Neil Diamond willing to play Albany though.

Madonna will be playing two dates at Madison Square Garden so that’s the closest that New Yorkers will try to get a chance to see her live in person.

Would I go see her live? Probably not. I do like Madonna a lot but not enough to go see her in concert or start buying her albums. I do enjoy listening to her music ocassionally though.

As a fan of Billy Idol I’ll probably wind up getting this. This guy rules! This guy was one of the coolest rock stars back in those days in the 80’s. Gotta love his singing voice and the white spiked hair. Billy continues to release new albums occasionally but he is not a mainstream artist anymore like he once was.

Report: Beck releasing new album this summer…

Singer/songwriter Beck Hansen, or better known as “Beck” is releasing another new album this summer. No release date has been confirmed yet but this album is produced by some guy named Danger Mouse. The album title is not yet revealed and the album will include only 10 tracks. Beck has been made famous for his popular albums like “Mellowgold” and “Odelay”. In his younger days before his career, Beck started off as a folk singer playing small cafes and coffeehouses until he got big and famous. Now he plays music in all genres from acoustic folk, hip/hop, dance, rock, etc.

Beck’s latest album was “The Information” which was released back in 2006.

Billboard reports:

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003800132

Not sure what genre Beck is heading to in this album because Beck does a different genre every album he does, kind of like Neil Young. I don’t care what genre Beck does, I love all the music he does. I have several of Beck’s albums in my CD collection and he is one of my favorite artists believe it or not.

Report: Madonna announces world tour…

Announced today, Madonna revealed she will go on a full world tour this summer, playing a slew of 50-60 shows. This tour is of course produced and sponsored by Live Nation. Her first concert of the tour will begin Aug. 23rd in Cardiff, Wales. Her tour listings will be unleashed to the public later today.

Billboard reports:

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003800612

Will Madonna come to Albany at Times Union Center or Saratoga Springs at SPAC this summer? Who knows. But it’s pretty unlikely. The closest she’ll probably perform to us is no where other than NYC, she’ll probably get a gig at Madison Square Garden if anything. A Madonna tour is good news though.
