Leonardo Dicaprio surprisingly never won an Oscar before but I think he’ll get it this time…

Leonardo Dicaprio never won an Oscar before. It may seem like he has already won one but he never did if you do a little digging. He’s been nominated 4 times at the Oscars over the years in his career but he never won any of them. I think he’ll definitely get his first Oscar this year, though (sorry Matt Damon). “The Revenant” was indeed Leo’s best role in his career. In the past, I used to think Leo Dicaprio was an overrated actor. There were only like a few other roles that I liked him in. Other roles that I thought Leo was really good in were “Gangs of New York”, “The Departed”, “Shutter Island”, “Inception”, “Wolf of Wall Street” and “Django Unchained” but other than that, Leo’s best performance was in “The Revenant”.

Like most people I never liked “Titanic” as I thought it was an overrated as hell movie. “Gilbert Grape” is overrated as well. He’s starred in too many overrated films and that includes, “J. Edgar” which I never liked (and it wasn’t because of the gay stuff in the movie, it just wasn’t good).

Leo is a talented actor, I guess. He always has been. I think he deserves his first Oscar which is long overdue and he’ll absolutely get it with “The Revenant” ’cause once again, I thought it was his best role in his career. “The Revenant” will probably sweep everything at the Oscars. I prefer “The Revenant” to be the big winner over “Mad Max: Fury ROad”.

If you haven’t seen “The Revenant” yet, you gotta see it for yourself and you would see how amazing Leo’s performance really was. He’ll blow your mind in this movie. I’m definitely buying “The Revenant” when it comes out on BluRay, hell yes!

Do a lot of people only like David Bowie for his popular songs? Seems like it…

It seems to me that a lot of music fans only like David Bowie for his popular songs. All of his well known hits that people know and love. They only know Bowie for his popular albums, really. I’m sure a lot of Bowie fans aren’t really into all of his music like me. I’ve been listening to his music for years so I can tell you for sure that I’m a true die-hard Bowie fan. What I’m trying to say is a lot of people know him for his music in the 70’s and 80’s but what about some of his newer stuff? Albums like “Black Tie, White Noise”, “Buddha of Suburbia”, “Outside”, “Earthling”, “Hours…”, and lets not forget that Bowie was also in another band that most of you probably don’t know about called, Tin Machine. Look up Tin Machine. Tin Machine has only done two albums but very good!

Everything Bowie has done in his music career is good. There’s not one album that I don’t like by him. I love every studio album he did. Ever since Bowie’s passing, I’ve been listening to Bowie albums all week so I guess you can I’m listening through his discography of albums again. Just celebrating his work.

How can you not like David Bowie? Everybody should love David Bowie no matter what genre of music you like. David Bowie was respected by people who liked all genres of music. If you’re a metalhead, you’d probably like Bowie. If you’re a country music fan, you’d probably like Bowie. He was respected by everybody and he influenced everybody in some way. Even if you’re not much of a Bowie fan at all, I’m pretty sure you’ve been inspired by him still.

I usually don’t cry and feel emotional over musician deaths but Bowie really did it to me. This one kind of hit me hard. I’ve always been a lifelong Bowie fan. He’s a huge influence in my own singing as well ’cause in case you haven’t noticed, a lot of my original songs are Bowie inspired.

If you’re a Donald Trump supporter like me, you should ignore all liberal attacks against the guy…

If you’re a Donald Trump supporter like me and if you want to publicly show your support for Trump then chances are some dumb ass libtard will probably try to talk you out of supporting the guy. If you publicly show your support for Donald Trump, a libtard will come around and say you shouldn’t be supporting him. Then they’ll either show an article or some dumb misinformed meme that makes him look bad. When a liberal shows you an article that makes Trump looks bad… chances are the article is gonna come from garbage like: CNN, ABC, NBC, Washington Post, NYTimes, etc. which are the last places you should be getting your information from. Everybody knows the mainstream media isn’t to be trusted. The mainstream media gets paid to make conservatives look bad. That’s what they do. The media has always been bullies toward Trump. Everybody knows that the negative reporting on Donald Trump by the mainstream media is mostly bullshit and ridiculous. It’s funny that liberals actually fall for that stuff. Keep in mind that these are the same people who voted Obama twice and they are the same people that support old loons like Bernie Sanders.

I don’t believe libtard attacks against Donald Trump. I ignore negative articles written about Trump that is done by the mainstream media. I don’t pay attention to it. Liberals and the mainstream media tries their best to make Trump supporters look stupid and uneducated but it isn’t working so they can keep trying. I get dumb ass libtards trying to talk me out of supporting Donald Trump but I don’t care. I’m not listening to any of their shit. If they won’t listen to our Obama criticism then why should we listen to their Trump criticism? Fair is fair, right?

I don’t care what anyone thinks. I’m staying loyal to Donald Trump and I have faith that Trump is the right guy. If there’s a negative article or story by any of the mainstream media outlets like the ones I listed above chances are it’s gonna be ridiculous and untrue. The media gets paid to make people look bad. That’s their job. That’s okay, though. All their attacks against Donald Trump is doing nothing but helping him anyways. Trump is gonna get elected ’cause of the media attacks. So keep it going. No matter what people say about Donald Trump, I’m always gonna support him and stay loyal to him so all Donald Trump haters can suck it.

The Republican party just became the party that liberals would like these days which is not cool…

The reason why a lot of us have turned our backs on the GOP these days is well… it’s simply because the GOP has become a different party lately. They are no longer the party that gives what the American people wants. The GOP no longer cares about the American people. A lot of politicians in the GOP Congress lately have turned very liberal. A lot of them have Democrat views, big time. The 2016 primary elections going on right now proves that. If you hate Donald Trump but instead you like guys like Chris Christie or Marco Rubio or Jeb Bush then you are probably a liberal. The GOP has turned into a liberal party and that’s the one thing that Donald Trump proved to us. Most Republicans in the GOP Congress aren’t true Republicans that includes guys like Rand Paul, Lindsey Graham, John Kasich, etc. The list can go on.

Like I said in a post before, what kind of GOP are we going to have when all they’re gonna do is try to destroy Donald Trump instead of Barack Obama? Like most people I lost all faith and trust in the GOP myself. I’m no longer on their side anymore like I used to be admittedly. The GOP is getting really horrible right now. All those GOP Debates proves how bad it’s gotten lately. The GOP just as bad as Democrats. Both parties are the same now.

It’s turning out now that the GOP are on the side of liberals and Barack Obama. That’s the problem right there. The GOP never fought back against “gay marriage” ’cause they wanted “gay marriage” legalized in the USA too. Go figure.

The GOP is no longer conservative like they used to be. I totally blame Barack Obama, of course… he totally changed both parties for sure. It’s disgusting. This is why we need Trump in the White House.

As I predicted, the Benghazi attacks goes mainstream after release of “13 Hours” film…

Before the release of Michael Bay’s “13 Hours” movie which came out yesterday, the Benghazi attacks stayed out of the public eye for a long while. As I predicted in the past, the Benghazi story is gonna go mainstream once this movie comes out and look what just happened. Now the Benghazi story is all over the news all of a sudden. Which is good! Everyone should know about the Benghazi tragedy. Everybody needs to see what Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton did.

Anyway, the whole point of this movie is not about Obama & Hillary at all. The whole point of the release of the film is to show America what the surviving heroes did to try and stop the attacks from happening. It wanted to honor those heroes. Plus, another reason the film was made was so that the Benghazi tragedy to go mainstream and push for more answers of the unsolved attacks. To let people know that Benghazi will never be ignored or forgotten.

I haven’t seen the movie yet but the film wasn’t playing at the mall I was at and that’s part of why I saw “The Revenant” instead. “13 Hours” is playing in a different theater so I’ll have to go to the other place to see it. I still have plans in seeing “13 Hours”, though. When you go see the movie, I’m pretty sure the movie will be extremely violent and gritty ’cause why? That’s how the real life Benghazi attack was. If you were there at the Benghazi attack the night it happened, that’s exactly what you’ll see… gun fire all over the place, mortars going off, flames all over, etc.

I wish Americans would realize how dangerous and scary that night was. That’s another reason for this film is to show you how dangerous and scary it was. I know it’s just a movie, yes but the film is to help give you an idea of what the Benghazi attack might of been like that night. To show how serious the Benghazi attacks really was.

It’s real sad that all people want to do is call it a love fest for “conspiracy theorist”. If the mainstream media refuses to talk about Benghazi then Hollywood will start making movies about it. I predict more Benghazi movies will be coming after this one.

This is perfect timing to release “13 Hours” movie, though… around election time when Hillary is running. America needs to know what she did.

When you want to play music, last thing you wanna do is listen to critics & negative people…

When it comes to my music, I used to get so many haters and doubters. They’ve always debated on whether or not I have any talent. They’ve also always debated whether or not my “Online web presence” is more well-known than my music. They’ve also debated on whether or not I have a lot of music fans. You’re always gonna get so many negative people trashing your music and doubting your dreams. If you wanna have a successful music career and music life, last thing you wanna do is listen to your critics and haters, ya know? I’ve always been disrespected musically by other local musicians and local promoters for many years. Just because they say it, doesn’t make it true ’cause they’re just “entitled” to their own opinions. That’s it. Plus, they’re just negative and jealous people. Jealousy can be a huge part of it all, absolutely.

I’ve always been disrespected by a lot of people about my music in the music scene but I don’t care, ya know? I should have never listened to them. You shouldn’t either.

I would like my music to get recognized more and would like to get respected musically but I know you can’t force others opinions and you gotta let the music speak on it’s own which is what I’m doing.

When you want to play music, you can’t listen to anybody. Don’t listen to the negative feedback about your songs or your talent. Don’t listen to people doubting your dreams and goals. Don’t listen to any of that bullcrap. Just ignore the negative people and enjoy what you do musically. Just keep playing the music for the people who do appreciate what you do. That’s what it’s all about, ya know?

I’ve always believed I have quite a lot of music fans and it’s true. It’s just that the local press and other promoters haven’t seen what I do yet.

The thing is, you can’t listen to negative people and haters ’cause you’re always gonna get ’em. You just gotta believe in yourself and not care what anyone else thinks about you. Just keep doing what you do and not worry about other people.

Well, just wait until I complete that internet album and get that out there. Maybe that internet album I’m about to work on soon will help people realize that I can be something special musically. I believe people will soon see it. Give it time!

Thoughts about last night’s GOP Debate…

I was gonna write in my thoughts about the GOP Debate last night but I wasn’t home earlier today. So here are a few brief thoughts…

Like usual most of last night’s GOP Debate was a freakin’ joke. Like usual, Trump steals the show as always. A few of Trump’s best moments from last night was when he destroyed Ted Cruz over the birther thing. That was amazing. That’s what I love about Trump. He is really good at destroying people publicly. That’s a part of why I have so much respect for the guy. Another great Trump moment was when he said that when he gets elected, he said his empire that he owns will be like “peanuts” to him. When he’s elected president, he’ll no longer run his businesses and will hand it all to his kids. That way he can show his love for America. I thought that was amazing as well.

I still can’t understand why so many so-called conservatives like Ted Cruz so much. I can’t understand the popularity around Ted Cruz ’cause he was acting like such a dumbass last night. Each time somebody accused Ted of something… of course, Ted will shrug everything off and claim what they said is not true. I’m no fan of Marco Rubio at all but I loved how Rubio exposed Ted as a flip flopper but sure enough, Ted said that Rubio is full of it.

Most of the candidates were jokes like usual. Trump is the only candidate worthy for prez and I’m sticking with that opinion. I love how dumbass liberals try to get me to change my mind about Trump but I’m not going to. I’m going to stick my guns and stay loyal to Trump. All Trump has been doing since he announced his candidacy was show his love for America and wants to fix our country for the better but all people do is have to verbally beat him up for it. What kind of GOP are we going to have if all they do is attack Trump when they really should be attacking Barack Obama? Trump loves America. Obama hates America. It shows that the GOP are not on our side and never has been. They’ve been on Obama’s side after all this time and they continue to be.

I wouldn’t watch these debates at all if Trump wasn’t in the election ’cause Trump is clearly making politics fun & entertaining again. This election would have been boring without him. Admit it now.

Film Review: The Revenant

Starring: Leonardo Dicaprio, Tom Hardy

Directed by: Alejandro G. Iñárritu

So today, I actually went and saw “The Revenant” movie starring Leo Dicaprio.

Plot/Synopsis: A frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820’s fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.

I was gonna wait for DVD rental on this one but since so many people said so many great things about this movie and how great Leo’s performance was I had to see it myself in theater right away out of curiosity. It turned out to be a beautiful and amazing film. It was wonderfully directed and beautifully written. The cinematography is pretty impressive stuff. “The Revenant” is a revenge movie and a survival movie both at the same time. As the synopsis says above it’s about a frontiersman (or a hunter) who is a part of the fur trading group and his own team stabs him in the back. It’s also a movie about war against the Indians.

The film was pretty violent, dark and a bit gory too. So this is all over the Oscars? Wow. Usually the Oscars aren’t too friendly with dark & violent movies but I’m surprised this movie scored a bunch of nominations. This movie will probably sweep everything at the Oscars ’cause the film really was that amazing. The music was beautifully scored. The action scenes weren’t meant to be entertaining… they were meant to be kind of “scary” and gritty.

While Leo’s performance was indeed really good as I thought this was his best role in his career, I was also impressed with Tom Hardy. Tom played a really good villain in this movie. Tom was a badass really. Leo was a badass in this movie too. Does this movie deserve all the Oscar praise? Yes, absolutely. Leo is definitely gonna win his Oscar for this role. To be honest, I was never that big of a Leo Dicaprio fan but the guy gained a lot more respect from me after seeing this movie. So I guess you can say that I’m a fan of Leo now. Maybe that guy has talent after all? Leo can play anything that throws at him.

Before trashing Leo about getting all the praise and awards about this movie, you need to see for yourself before you judge. It really was an amazing film and it’s definitely pretty high up in the top 5 films of 2015.

Score for “The Revenant”: 5 out of 5 stars as in “Excellent”

Maybe I really should seek out a bigger career in music, don’t know?

Really, I keep getting so many great compliments and awesome feedback on the music lately. It really does feel good and amazing. Remember now, in the past, I used to get so many harsh critics all over. Maybe I do have a lot of music fans after all? I would like to get recognized for it like get some interviews with the press and maybe get some reviews or shout outs from the local press and all that stuff but I don’t care. As long as people are enjoying what I do that’s all that matters to me pretty much.

Which is why I want to get that internet album in the works. I want to do that internet album for them, the fans and supporters. I wanna show them that I can do original music.

Should I seek a bigger career in music? Like hitting the bigger venues and stages? Maybe get signed to an independent label of some sort? I could if I wanted. Only trouble is, I don’t drive and a bigger music career requires a lot of travelling for sure. I definitely would like to gig a lot more, though. Hell yeah, I would. I’m sure people would like to see me move forward to bigger things in music. I’d like to as well but who knows what may happen?

Like I said I’m just trying to stay humble and enjoying what I do. Just playing the music and entertaining you is all I pretty much care about. All the support really does mean a lot to me, though. I’ll tell ya that. I have a mix of female fans and male fans when it comes to my music which is awesome.

Maybe after I finish the internet album and release it, I’ll play a few gigs in support of it so people can come out and see me. I’ll admit, I do miss performing live and wanna start doing that again.
