“The Allman Brothers” – Fillmore East (6 CD edition)… I’d really like to get this!!!

This is very cool!!! The Allman Brothers just released new editions of their legendary Fillmore East show. I have the original Fillmore East show on my Ipod and that album is obviously the Allman’s best work! I would like to buy the 6 CD edition sometime in the future. I know they also released a 3 disc audio BluRay but maybe that edition would be even better.

I love the Allman’s. They’re my favorite band right now. I have 9 of their albums on my Ipod Touch and that includes the Fillmore album being one of them. I’m trying to collect all of the Allman’s music. I’m also gonna collect all of their live albums too.

I still love Led Zeppelin and all but I love the Allman’s even more.

I really wish I had a chance to see the Allman’s live in concert before they hang it up. This could be the end of the band.

I know I posted these two memes before but they are pretty useful.

You see, I don’t deal with negative people, everyone. I just don’t. I am a pretty positive and very happy person. I love life. I make the best of it and enjoy it. I’m not perfect but I’m a happy guy. When assholes out there try to ruin your happiness and they try to put you down, you need to pretend they’re dead. What do you do when you have someone in your family or someone that you know who does nothing but gives you constant drama? What do you do when someone you know really well who does nothing but talk nasty stuff about you? This person swears  and cusses at you like a storm. Calls you every name in the book. This person slanders you and judges you. Makes up all kinds of lies about you. Says stuff about the way you live your life. Bashes you like crazy. Etc. Etc. Etc…. I can go on.

When you get people treating you like shit… they need to go. It would be nice if negative people would stop what they’re doing and apologize like an adult but you know that’s never gonna happen.

You deserve happiness and joy. When people treat you in a negative direction, get rid of them as soon as possible. Don’t wait. Don’t try to talk things over and discuss things with your enemy ’cause you’re never gonna win anyway. Just stop and walk away. DO IT NOW!!! That’s all you need to do. When people treat you negatively for no reason, chances are… they are having personal problems in their life. It’s not you, it shows how they are.

You don’t have to change a thing for anyone if they don’t like you. Be yourself. Be who you wanna be and that’s the end of it.

… I know that’s never gonna happen.

Now… I know these blogs are gonna attract a lot of haters. I know this blog will inspire other people to start their own blogs to talk shit about me. I know people will talk shit about me in social networking. I know people will even use youtube to talk shit about me too. This stuff is gonna keep happening. The bigger my blog gets, the more haters I’m gonna get. That’s just the way it is, ya know? I’ve been dealing with this shit for the last 10 years or more so I’m pretty used to it, I think.

Some people make the mistake that some of my blog posts are aimed at one person but they’re not. I try not to write blog posts that are aimed at people.

Some bands and musicians don’t appreciate online criticism? Well, that’s the name of the game. Bands & artists are putting their stuff out there publicly for the whole world to see. If these guys are putting their stuff out there and getting their stuff out there, you’re gonna get criticized… good or bad. I know I put myself out there for the whole world to see so I know I’m gonna get criticized so I can handle online criticism just fine. I just ignore it and let it go.

However, there are some out there that can’t take it. Especially musicians out there. Musicians get upset easily and they become immediately defensive when they are criticized. If that’s how they’re gonna be, then they don’t have what it takes to make it in the music business. Just wait until they get signed. When you get signed to an indie label or get signed to a major, either way, you’re gonna get criticized by a lot of bloggers and music critics.

Like I said before, when you get your first negative music review, lets see how well these guys can handle it.

These guys are putting themselves out there. That gives me the right to criticize them. If I’m going to shows or buying records… that gives me the right to criticize. I’m paying my money for local music so that gives me the right to criticize. I criticize ’cause I’m a fan of music. That’s what I do it for.

I criticize everything with national music… I have the same feelings for local music.

I am human. I have eyes and ears. I have the right to an honest opinion.

If I’m going to band shows… I have the right to criticize everything I see. The way they run their shows. I have the right to say how they act professionally. I have the right to call out their attitudes if I don’t like it. All of these things, I have the right to do.

If you’re getting mad at my criticism then you don’t have what it takes to be a professional musician. Professional musicians don’t reply to online criticism.

When I used to go to live shows in the past, I have been reviewing everything. I was honest with everything. I’ve been doing this for years and it hasn’t changed today.

There’s nothing wrong with being a critic of local music. I don’t really hate the local music scene btw, I just want it to be better. There are great bands around here, it’s just that this area is not much of a scene anymore like it used to be.

I have every right to be realistic about local music. I won’t change no matter how many out there hates it.

On top of that, I haven’t been a part of the music scene in a long time and don’t really care to be. It’s not much of a music scene anymore. There are no venues. Nobody goes out to shows. I can go on and on.

I’m a critic and that’s what I do and if I’m pissing you off… my work is done.

This post isn’t aimed at anyone by the way. Just had to get this rant off my chest.

“Ghostbusters 3” will be an all female re-boot and will be directed by Paul Feig…

Due to the death of Harold Ramis, Ivan Reitman had to pull out of directing “Ghostbusters 3” out of respect for his friend. Now Sony have found a replacement director. Paul Feig will be directing the 3rd installment.

Dan Aykroyd will return as Dr. Ray Stantz but it’s looking like Bill Murray will not return. It is not yet known if Ernie Hudson will return as Winston Zeddemore.

As you will read in this article, the new Ghostbusters will be all female.

Hate is a strong word. Hate is wrong but ya can’t do anything about it, ya know? People are gonna hate no matter how good of a person you are. There is absolutely no reason at all for other people to go on hating you or me. You don’t have to explain yourself to them and I wished I never did that here. That’s what they want you to do and I gotta stop that. They obviously want more attention off of you and if you respond to them, you’re just giving them more attention they don’t deserve. You’re allowing them to be victorious.

When feuds happen between two people, both sides are always trying to tell their side of the story and no matter what you say and no matter how hard you try to defend yourself — you’ll never win over that other person. The other person you’re fighting with will keep arguing and arguing. The hater will always think he/she is right all of the time. You have nothing to prove to haters.

So best thing to do is just ignore them completely. I gotta try that. Please try that. Ignoring people and pretending they’re dead is pretty easy to do.

Yes, my criticism toward local music and other topics may be controversial but I don’t care. I am honest man and that’s all there is to it. If others find it a problem? Who cares.

I maybe critical a lot but notice how I never go off swearing like a storm, losing my temper or resorting to name calling in my posts. I try my best to keep my rants on my site as positive as possible. Of course, you can’t please everybody, right???

Let the haters talk shit all they want to ’cause all they’re doing is showing their true colors and they’re doing a good job destroying themselves. You just exposed them for who they really are. 🙂

I know I said I was gonna stop watching PUA videos but this is probably the best advice in youtube. If you’re too lazy to watch this video this guy says the secret to impressing women is do nothing. Just be yourself. You don’t have to do much just to pick up women. Be yourself. Don’t take yourself serious and that’s it. Try not to act like a pickup artist or a dancing monkey boy like this guy says, lol… you’ll be fine. Be yourself. Be normal. Be cool.

You don’t need to show off and be a goofball to her like “OOoooh you’re so beautiful” and all that stuff like he’s saying.

If you like a woman, a “Hi, how are you?” is pretty much all you need. I like this channel 33Secrets. It’s good stuff. I know I was gonna stop posting these but this one I couldn’t resist. It’s a good one and helpful. I’ll take his advice.

The Expendables suing hard on film leak!!!

“The Expendables 3” has already leaked on the internet and Lionsgate studios are not taking any shit! Film leaks happen all the time in the movie industry but most studios don’t do anything about it with the exception of Lionsgate. Lionsgate take piracy very seriously. Their demands are pretty tough too.

Good for them. I’m glad they’re taking action and doing something about it. They seem to be very proud of the film.

I’m looking forward to Expendables 3. I’m a huge Expendables fan. Loved the first two films and will be seeing the third this month. Despite the PG-13 rating of the third film, I’m sure it will still be entertaining as hell.

I think this is the last Expendables movie that Sly will be starring in, though. I think he said he’ll be done with these movies but I’m sure the Expendables will keep going with more sequels just without Sly.

Love Sly or hate him, he’s amazing at what he does. He has created three big franchises in his career: Rocky, Rambo and the Expendables. You should respect him for that. I’m still a big fan of Sly and still look forward to every new movie he comes out with.

Check out the links I just posted above. Love Ted or hate him… he’s a very successful guy. His facebook page has over two million followers, he still sells out shows, his new album “Shut Up and Jam” is selling really well, and he does good things for the U.S. troops as you can see above. In reality Ted’s a good guy.

When he hates on Obama, he’s just like me and everybody else. He’s just a patriot who is disgusted of what Obama is doing to our country. He has every right to speak out on Obama how he wants to and I think he’s doing a great job.

I love Uncle Ted, he’s the fuckin’ man! I plan on getting his new album soon.

I support both Ted Nugent and Sarah Palin. Suck it haters! \m/

Rodrigo Y Grabriela perform their instrumental song “The Soundmaker”, then they teach us how to play it!!!

This is pretty cool!!! The Mexican acoustic duo, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, is featured for Guitar World’s Acoustic Nation in youtube. Here is Rodrigo and Gabriela playing their hit instrumental, “The Soundmaker” from their new album, “9 Dead Alive”. After they play the song, they teach us how to play the song with Guitar World’s instructor, Jimmy Brown.

I think both are great musicians. Both Rodrigo and Gabriela seem like they are very friendly and down to earth people. They’re always smiling. Always polite. No ego with those two at all. We need more musicians like them.

Gabriela may not seem to do much in her guitar playing but after her teaching her secret, the way she plays looks very challenging and tough to do. You see, Gabriela has a more percussive style of guitar playing. I love the way she plays chords and slaps her hand with the guitar as if she’s playing the bongos or something. That’s the trick with the acoustic guitar. You can turn your acoustic into a drumset or a metronome. Just use your hands. I know some might criticize Gabriela’s playing but in her defense, I think she is just Rodrigo’s metronome. She helps him stay in time. I think that’s what she’s pretty much used for but she’s still a great player.

I only have two of their albums and will get more of their albums soon. I love their music. Their newest album, “9 Dead Alive” is really good stuff and recommended listening. I listen to it a lot.
