BREAKING NEWS: Look like my prediction was unsurprisingly right, Amanda Knox officially acquitted…

Amanda Knox and her Italian boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, were both acquitted of murdering, Meredith Kercher. This news is not so surprising to me at all. I’m sure it didn’t surprise everyone else either.

This is NOT justice for Meredith Kercher. Yes, there is also a third person involved in the murder, Rudy Guede, but he is still serving his sentence in prison with a reduced 16 years. That is not justice either!!!

If this happened in America, all of three of these monsters would have gotten life and the death penalty for sure. I know a lot of people support Amanda Knox and thinks she innocent, but just because this story is huge in the news, doesn’t make her innocent. You can’t go by what they say in the media.

You can’t trust people accused of murder, getting freed, ’cause what if they do it again? Yeah go ahead, free all murderers. Think they’re all innocent. Just because they make the news.

Maybe I should go back to thinking that O.J. Simpson is innocent. What does that make him? He was acquitted with their murders and everyone still thinks he did it.

Meredith’s family are probably pissed off right NOW!!! Casey Anthony and Amanda Knox would be good drinking buddies. You know both of them are going to get rich and famous with both of their crimes. Book deals? Movie deals? TV documentaries? Reality shows? Whatever, they’re gonna get all that pretty soon.

If you want an easy way to get fame and fortune, just kill somebody and get away with it, you’ll get famous just like that.

Just watched “Dexter – Season 6” premiere on youtube…

Since I won’t be getting Showtime for “Dexter” Season 6, I just watched the premiere on youtube. Showtime will be uploading all the episodes on their official youtube channel.

It’s a very good episode. This season is going to be real good.

Dexter – Season 6 premiere in the video below. They censored the nudity and swearing for youtube but at least I’ll be able to watch it.

Thought: Amanda Knox, prediction on her verdict for her appeal tomorrow…

Well tomorrow, the Amanda Knox appeal trial will read the verdict in Italy. I haven’t been following the trial much. I don’t read about it on the internet, but sometimes I’ll watch the reports on TV. As you all know she is serving a 26 year prison sentence for the murder of, Meredith Kercher. So far, she has served 4 years in prison and she filed an appeal. She’s been maintaining her innocence ever since.

Here’s what could happen to Amanda Knox for tomorrow’s verdict reading. She could be found innocent and they could release her from prison. They could also keep her in prison and give her a lighter sentence. The judge could also reject the appeal and order her to serve the full 26 years. Another verdict that the judge could take upon the prosecution’s request to increase her sentence to life in prison.

As much as I would like to say she’s guilty as all hell and her prison sentence SHOULD be increased for life in prison, I have a feeling they’ll find her innocent and they’ll let her go tomorrow.

Yes, lets think all killers are innocent and free all of them. Anybody who thinks like that, don’t even care for the victims families.

I’ll be keeping an eye on this news tomorrow. Will this be Casey Anthony part deux? De ja vu, all over again?

Won’t be getting Showtime for Dexter…

…the reason is, Showtime is way too expensive. It’s at least $35 a month, which is a pretty ridiculous pricing. So I’ll just have no choice but to wait for “Dexter – Season 6” to come out on DVD instead. Movie channels through Time Warner Cable are all very pricey. No sense of getting movie channels when I already have Netflix, right? I just wanted Showtime for Dexter, that’s it, but not gonna get it now.

That’s okay, there’s plenty to watch on TV at night anyway. At least there’s “Walking Dead – Season 2” coming up later this month which is what I’m very excited for. I’ve been watching, “The Playboy Club”, Monday nights which that is a very good show, it hasn’t disappointed me yet. Plus, I watch a lot of NFL football lately too.

I haven’t been watching WWE RAW for the past couple of weeks. Getting so bored of it. The PG rating and John Cena hogging the show all the time. *yawn* RAW is getting terrible again. Although, I still respect the performers, it’s just that the show and the writing isn’t good lately.

Like I always say, I’m not much of a TV junkie. I’m trying my best to keep myself an active person and do productive things during the day like going to the gym and doing my cardio. I haven’t been going outside most of this week because of the rain. So I’ve been stuck inside, playing video games, doing some reading, playing some guitar, and watching “24” on Netflix.

The book I’m reading now, is “The Fountainhead” by Ayn Rand. It’s an old classic, but somebody recommended me to start reading some, Ayn Rand. I need to start reading some classic literature. I’ll review, “The Fountainhead”, when I finish reading it. Great book so far though.

Just bored tonight, so I thought I write in about random stuff going on.

I’ve recently had a change of heart with bench pressing…

I used to be against bench pressing at the gym, but I’m starting to do it more often now. It really is the king of chest workouts and it does work your chest pretty hard. I’ve been doing bench pressing on the Smith machine though, since I don’t have a workout partner to spot me. That’s what the Smith machine is for so you can do that stuff without a spotter. I feel that my chest is getting a little bigger every time I walk out of the gym on chest days. On chest days, I only go to the Greenwich Y to do a couple of quick chest workouts, maybe like 2 or 3 workouts. On chest days, my workouts are: push ups with the floor grips, bench press, dumb bell chest press on floor, and cable cross overs. Sometimes I’ll do decline dumb bell flies when I want to do something different.

After each chest work out days, my chest will feel a little sore for the next few days, which is good. You want to make them feel sore. Remember the old saying at the gym? “No pain, no gain”, you hear it all the time. I follow the “No pain, no gain” rule when going to the gym. If you’re not feeling a little sore, then you’re not getting enough muscle in.

I’m doing my very best to get a bigger chest. People expect me to have a bigger chest so it can look right with the rest of my body, but people need to realize that getting big muscle gains don’t happen over night. It’s a long process, muscle building. I’m not going to look like those guys you see in the movies and magazines, yet, but people should be happy to what I have now. I came a long way already. I’ve only been doing this for a little over 3 years now, getting a big chest will take longer than that.

Maybe in the next several years, I will start to look like an actual bodybuilder then. It is my dream to get that physique that everyone wants, it just takes time. Benching is pretty useful and helpful.

Report: Kurt Russell to replace Kevin Costner for Tarantino’s “Django Unchained”…

Kurt Russell will re-team with Quentin Tarantino once again for, “Django Unchained”. Kevin Costner was going to play a role in, “Django” but was forced to pull out due to his hectic work schedule for, “Man of Steel”, in which Costner plays Jonathan Kent in the film.

More on the story, here.

Well, look like Kurt is definitely not going to be in, “The Expendables” sequel if he’s going to sign on to this. Maybe he will join the Expendables cast for a possible cameo, though, who knows. I would like Kurt to be part of the Expendables movie too, but it is pretty cool he is re-teaming with Tarantino again.

10 reasons why “Weird” Al Yankovic deserves a Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame Induction…

Upset by your favorite bands & artists keep getting snubbed for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? One artist that keeps getting the snub every year is that the Hall of Fame in Cleveland, seems to be ignoring, “Weird” Al Yankovic. Many of you would disagree, I’m sure. Some of you may think a parody artist doesn’t deserve it and you may think he’s not rock n’ roll, but yes, of course, Al Yankovic is rock n’ roll. He always has been. Weird Al is eligible for a nomination but he never gets it.

I can think of 10 good reasons why Al Yankovic totally deserves an Induction.

  1. “Weird” Al’s career was legendary – Today’s generation of music fans don’t realize how long Al Yankovic has been in the music business. He had a pretty long music career. In the 70’s, Al first got recognition and fame with his talent from the Dr. Demento radio show. His first parody with “My Bologna” which was a parody of the Knack’s “My Sharona”. It became an instant hit back in those days, and was signed a record deal because of it. Al created history with his music, like him or not.
  2. “Weird” Al was the only music artist to make comedy mainstream – There are plenty of other comedy musicians/songwriters but none of them were successful. Al was the only comic musician who pioneered parodies commercially.
  3. “Weird” Al helps bands/artists realize they are successful – All the artists Al has parodied songs from, a lot of them didn’t realize they were famous rock stars until they got parodied by Weird Al. That alone should give Al the respect he deserves.
  4. “Weird” Al is real, he plays with an actual band and does a lot of touring – I’m sure Al’s been accused of not being a musician, but yes, he knows his shit as a musician and he’s professional. The man works extremely hard and he’s passionate for what he does.
  5. “Weird” Al had many chart toppers with his singles – Weird Al may have never had a no. 1 hit record, but he had plenty of single chart toppers.
  6. “Weird” Al inspires people of all ages with his music – He’s been accused of just making music for children only. Not true. His music is for everybody, doesn’t matter how old you are.
  7. “Weird” Al is a talented entertainer and live performer – I’ve seen Al Yankovic live in concert once, during the “Running With Scissor’s” tour. The guy has guts to what he does. He’s not afraid of entertaining an audience and making them laugh even if he had to make fun of himself.
  8. “Weird” Al is multi-talented – He’s not just a musician. He’s also a producer who produced many of his own records and he produced work for other artists as well. He is also an actor, director, and writer.
  9. “Weird” Al’s music videos are always great – This is part of the reason for his fame. It’s his music videos that always gets to people. I love his music videos as they are all hilarious and people just can’t wait for his next one. He makes the best music videos than any other artists. His music videos have always been an important part of his career.
  10. “Weird” Al helps other artists become more popular and mainstream – Without Weird Al, I’m pretty sure we wouldn’t have known about the Knack, Queen, Nirvana, Madonna, Michael Jackson, etc. Some would disagree with me on this but it’s true. Al Yankovic helped other artists get more recognition and fame. Weird Al did a lot for the industry over the years, and he changed the music business, the way we look at it.
These are also the 10 reasons, why I respect the man. I’ve loved Al Yankovic’s music ever since I was a child and still admire him to this day. He still releases great music as his new album, “Alpocalypse”, was the best album he put out in a while.

Film Review: Moneyball

Starring: Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Robin Wright

Directed by: Bennett Miller

Today, I decided to hit the mall and check out the movie, “Moneyball”. Before the movie, I did finally pick up the game, “Dead Island”, but I won’t play it right away ’cause I’m still playing, “Deus Ex: Human Revolution”. As soon as I finish “Deus Ex”, I’ll move right on to “Dead Island”. Looking forward to “Dead Island”, though, as I’m a huge fan of zombies myself as some of you can probably tell.

On with my review:

Plot/Synopsis: This film focuses on the real life story of Billy Beane, who is the General Manager and part owner of the MLB team, the Oakland Ahtletics. Billy is in a financial handicap with the Oakland A’s, due to their constant losing of games. It takes place in the year 2002, around that time the Oakland A’s suffered a low payroll budget. The Oakland A’s just lost three big players: Johnny Damon, Jason Giambi, and Jason Isringhausen so they must be replaced with better players.

Beane teams up with Peter Brand (who is played by Jonah Hill), because he was going to college at Yale for economics. Beane felt that Brand would help get the Oakland A’s out of the financial ruin. Beane wants his players to be more competitive and play better so they can win more games. Beane searches for players who are high on the on base percentage, baseball stats.

Well, this film was very interesting. I like baseball, but I don’t watch a lot of it. I used to watch MLB all the time though. I’m more into football now. When I saw this movie, I realized that this movie wasn’t really about baseball, maybe a little bit. If you’re expecting to see a big baseball movie, where you can cheer on, you’re not going to see that in this movie.

In this movie, you’re going to learn all the secrets and behind the scene stuff that the staff at MLB don’t want you to know about. You always wondered what it would be like, behind the scenes of professional baseball? Well this film will give you an idea of it. This movie will show that working behind the scenes of professional baseball isn’t easy as it sounds. It’s a tough business. This movie is mostly about business and money. It’s about a team that is about to fall apart and you must bring it back together.

The performances in this movie was just amazing. Brad Pitt is always good, like usual, but I’m most impressed with Jonah Hill. Jonah has been doing a lot of silly slapstick comedies as of late, so he decides to take a break from comedy for once and try a serious drama role. I think Jonah is going to get an Oscar nod for “Best Supporting Actor” in this role this year. Jonah Hill first got recognition as an actor in the 2007 comedy film, “Superbad”, and he should get even more recognition with, “Moneyball”. This is Jonah’s best role.

I’ve been following Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s career for years and this was his best role as well. He really kills it.

Everything else about the movie was great. The writing was well written, the cinematography was well done, and the music in the movie was cool too. There were some baseball playing scenes but not much.

I thought this was an excellent film. You don’t need to be a baseball fan to watch this film.

Score for “Moneyball” = **** (4 stars as in”excellent”)

Report: Stephen King announced he is writing a sequel to “The Shining”, it is titled, “Dr. Sleep”…

Well finally, Stephen King is returning to horror! He has been staying away from the genre for a long while, writing other things. While, Stephen King has just finished and published a new book, “11/22/63”, which is set to hit stores, November 8th, Stephen just announced he is writing a sequel to, “The Shining”, which was first published way back in, 1977.

Stephen actually announced the news for the sequel way back in 2009, while on a promotional tour for, “Under the Dome”. The name of the sequel of the Shining is titled, “Dr. Sleep”, announced on King’s official website.

Danny Torrance was 5 years old in the original, in the sequel, he is now 40 years old and terminally ill in a hospital. It takes place years later after the events of the first novel. The website says that the story will be about a travelling group of vampires called, The Tribe.

Interesting. So glad he’s coming back to horror, the genre that’s he is best at. Danny’s father, Jack Torrance can’t come back because he was killed by the Overlook at the end of the first novel…but considering that there are vampires in the sequel, could Jack come back as a vampire? LOL, just a thought. Stephen King is always coming up with crazy ideas so you never know.

Hhheeeerreeee’sssss JOHNNY! Sorry, had to do it.
